This week um again yeah in the 555 I was live all week I had two teams up there fell a little short finished fourth for 30,000 our guy uh Matt finished uh third uh for 40,000 would have liked to get that one two finish but the 34 finish

Will take it the $70,000 total our guy alisu Nick um printed on Showdown had a big main slate win as well the community um just has been phenomenal and you know for me personally I kind of talked about it kind of switched up my strategy a

Little bit five six weeks ago you and I had off a conversations we had conversations in Discord um and I started focusing more on 15 to 20 teams and have had a lot of success um we did a video on on Wednesday night with a

Group of guys in our uh Discord and I kind of talk through the strategy on how I’m building these teams and what I’m doing and you know if obviously if you’re a member don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re someone that kind of focuses on you know 20 Max teams I’m

Hoop let’s let’s dive in let’s talk API Arnold Palmer Invitational we got it in under nine minutes by the way guys so marketing is out of the way the way you love it but let’s talk about this one hoop we got the API as our guy gen say

Would say noce when it comes to the me the amount of guys in the field 69 so the it was 70 feno is not going to play this week so it’s going to be 69 guys in the field playing this event a Big Boy event they’re doing it the same way as

Last time where I know us included many others said uh what did we say we said uh you know oh it’s almost a no a no cut event well that was not the story a lot of guys missed the cut you know at that event versus what could it’s like top

What is it top 50 plus ties and then anybody within 10 well that got out of hand quickly and last I think like 17 missed or something along those lines but talk to me a little bit about this event and then I already see up top here

We’re spoiling it now we’re to the pricing but looks like Scotty Sheffer is going to be the most expensive I will spoil this part just to see yeah no that’s a bummer that’s a bummer get to but smaller field so it kind of makes sense to still keep it

This way go ahead give us your thoughts so yeah just to be clear is is this a no cut event no just yeah top 50 in TI oh it’s the same thing is that so is this is that the standard then for these Signature Events or what I think it’s

Like just because people complained but you know it could end up working out similar this time it might not might go back to like last time but definitely like you said earn your check boys yeah we we like it it’s it’s better than nothing I’ll take it for sure yeah so so

It’s what top 50 and then within 10 Strokes top 50 in ties and within 10 Strokes yeah I mean yeah a lot of guys or more guys got cut than we anticipated last time but I think you still almost have to play it as if it’s a no cut event I

Mean it’s GNA you know at least 80% of this field most likely makes it through when you’re building your teams I think that’s the mindset that you have to have you kind of are going to have to be a little bit aggressive when you build these teams so that’s just the first

Thing that definitely stands out it’s a little bit of a bummer that the 5K is gone I mean hopefully for the larger field events we see it come back I think there’s a not necessarily an edge to it but a different degree of strategy when you incorporate uh that that pricing

Tier uh Scotty at 113 is I mean it’s probably too light I mean it’s just I think he should be more expensive we’ll see when we break all down I’m imagining that he’s going to be pretty popular this week you plugged it in right there

When you put him in you still have 7700 per spot you can build all-star teams with Scotty if you play one cheap dude which there’s going to be cheap guys down there that we can play so I I definitely like the standard to be like

I don’t care what they do in the bottom range I prefer the 5K the standard for these top end guys should be like 12K 113 to me is is too cheap um he’s too good he’s the best right now and um you know I want a lot of him or going I’m to

Talk about the other guys in the 10 or how do you want no no just want to get your intro and surprise surprise surprise surprise hoop likes the uh the 5K range where he’s won like a quarter million dollars since they brought that out so yeah I’m sure you would

Soer yeah um just want to go back and look real quick too I’ll share it because our friends over at liner they got the perfect lineup and I wanted to say one thing because that was the the note again forget the optimal was actually 477 or whatever we’re not

Building base around that but again 5K just not needed and even some of these like this was 675 we saw what was your uh your score up top was 640 5 540 sorry gave myself way too much credit I’m not cutting your score off and trying to talk down I’m like

Obviously any of these guys could have got swapped up to someone at 90 points or something and use up the salary and then again not needed so the one thing I do want to comment on just because I thought you brought it up it was an interesting piece just off the top into

These no cut events well sorry these cut events that you want to treat like no cut events is I think that’s one thing people get so wrapped up in and Confused upon like you’re saying it in a good way I’m not disagreeing it’s that you need

The best six guys and that’s the obvious and everyone knows well obvious you need the best I’m saying that it’s like people decide let the pricing decide it for them and they’re like well as long as I get this cheap guy it means I get Scotty and then I’m set because Scotty’s

Gonna Crush but then you need Scotty to do his job still and anything can happen in a golf tournament just ask Roy maroy we’ve seen that lately Scotty Sheffer some of the guys like feno in some of these and I’m not saying which ones are which or comparing them against each

Other for who’s overrated or who’s underrated or their legacy I don’t care I care about DFS for this week and if you think you’re looking at it and you’re checking your 2v choose and it’s Scotty Sheffer and David Ford or it’s a couple guys what are they 11 17 18 and

It’s uh you know Sam Burns and Max hom that’s that is a decision you should be looking at these things when you’re building your lineups out and seeing what that means for you and how it goes overall start modeling it out or see what you see happening in the actual

Event what you’re more comfortable with the type of tournament you’re playing in the buyin the field strength the field size all these factors that you should be considering but I’ll kick it back to you hoop you can take over now let’s do 9500 and up let let’s do ludvig up to

Scotty sheffler and talk me through because these are some six these are six really good golfers here a lot of decisions to be made but I think Scotty and Rory should stay pretty popular especially after Rory’s week last week just couldn’t find a putter yeah uh I mean Scotty everyone’s going to like

Scotty obviously it’s easy to play him coming in at 113 which in my opinion is too cheap of a price tag um you know people will play this like a no cut event and I I think you kind of should obv viously so they’re going to feel

More comfortable coming in the 6K range and we’ll get down there and look at the guys and the options in that range but Scotty at 113 should get a lot of ownership now you know the one thing that could keep Rory in check is certainly his recent play it has not

Been great I mean this this past week kind of got close on Saturday then I believe it was like a double or was it a double Bogey and it never really got it going like you said with the putter um but prior to that you know nothing

Special I mean he 24 fourth of the Genesis he was terrible at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro I’m curious to see what the initial ownership numbers are on him because again his recent play could keep the ownership in check and if you’re going to be on Rory and you like them

Because uh the course history and all that stuff this week maybe we get them at or not necessarily week I don’t I’m not committed to playing Rory at this point I don’t know I I don’t think he he’s fully right so maybe you get him at

A lower rate because of how how poorly he’s played recently what the expectations are at that price tag at these big boy price tags they got to do something it’s got to be a top 10ish most likely and he just has not been there so I think there’s a chance Rory

Rory’s ownership could potentially be in check we’ll see when we get some of these initial initial numbers you got Klay at 10K I think a lot of people are going to view like Klay havland Xander very similarly I’m guessing those three kind of come in with similar ownership

Maybe havland a little less than the other two just because um he he hasn’t played all that great he hasn’t had a really high-end finish as of late so maybe he comes in a little bit bit lower than than kland Xander but you know they’re all separated by $100 I think

People view these three guys pretty similarly in terms of what their upside is I mean I think people look at Klay and hland and Xander and say okay yeah you know I could you know I I kind of view these guys the same sort of golfers

And then you know Oar right there uh with those guys like I know people are going to want to play him I want to be on them I’ve you know kind of said I’m going to be on this guy almost every single week moving forward or every week

Moving forward this season just because I think there’s a lot of upside with him so him checking in at 95 uh it’s $300 cheaper than that that other range but I think he probably has similar ownership I think after Scotty you know we could see a lot of guys come in with

With similar ownership and you know uh Klay havlin Xander oer and then the Rory thing it’s kind of hard for me to to Peg at this point in terms of ownership but man there’s no denying it I mean these are the most most expensive guys in the

Field and for a reason they have the most win upside and there’s no doubt about it so you know we’ll obviously have more in-depth analysis uh on this tier and the other tiers as the week goes on and we really start to to dig in

But for me the one thing that stands out is Scotty isn’t a tier of his own and it should be pretty easy to play him this week Rory we got to see what happens are people gonna you know punish him in terms of uh ownership this week because

Of how poorly he’s been playing lately and then the next group of guys I think end up uh all pretty similarly owned yeah put a quick caveat on this because our guy Billy came in with the clutch information yeah encouraging you to play round one Showdown let’s do I’ll add

Another hundred bucks to it let’s do if it’s two grand or more is the caveat that’s a 100 bucks yeah took me it took me a second to figure out what’s going on there but yeah that’s a good point it is if it’s two grand or more get a

Hundred bucks if it’s five grand or more we’ll do the 250 so go from there and then we can look at bringing it from that one but we’ll we’ll refer back to this we’re pretty pretty honest guys pretty comfortable just doing whatever makes sense but yeah good good call put

Pretty obvious early on that it’s just going to be Klay and Xander that go overlooked I think people can still talk themselves in easily to hland I know ludvig always gets love and especially with being the lowest price of this what I’m calling a tier I don’t think people

View this like the three guys top maybe you could say they view it as two guys and then what’s the drop off but even if you viewed it as that you know you’re still going to get ownership on both of these guys Rory was Rory led the field

In TAA green last week he’s always putted better on these greens people are going to be very comfortable going to him his history is incredible Scotty obviously has great history as well so I think both of them get a little bit spread out but down here it’s gonna be

Havland and ludvig that are getting the ownership so I think you nail you think you think it’s havin over those other guys H see I kind of had a a different opinion but again I don’t think it’s going to be a massive Difference by any means but I I figured more people would

Go to Klay and Xander over hlin well hlin also 10th and second here the last two years people always treat him like mini Rory so when you’re getting him for 700 bucks cheaper but I think again there’s lots of stuff you can see here look at this lineup right of the gates

Is around 7.4 and you only need to pick four golfers Scotty’s 7.7 with you got to come up with five more same thing if you go havland ludvig right 7.7 exact same as Scotty you go ludvig and Rory and you leave havin and those three out I mean definitely possible that it it

Goes these two at the top ludvig and then back to hin and those other two I just don’t think you could see k l x be as popular with the other names that are around and we’ll see how it shakes out when we get to Wednesday get our final

Down to just what fits on the screen let’s go off of this we got spe down to cam young at 8700 let’s just stick to it and talk through some of these guys well I’m assuming spe has played her a lot do you know I mean do you have anything on

The course history as he played well cuz I mean ini the last two times yeah he’s played twice four both times and last year he had a chance I think he blew it on Saturday but um just a rem in the back of my mind that’s what I remember

Yeah so 94 I don’t know man like spe is another guy is kind of hard to to Peg in terms of what people do got a lot of Heavy Hitters right above them and you got a lot of I think solid plays below them um that’s something to kind to kind

Of monitor a little bit but you got Sam Burns playing really well hom I think is kind of a wild card this week I mean he hasn’t been playing greatly lately uh what he finished 16th at the Genesis um but that was mostly like one solid round the second round really

Didn’t do much else um morawa and Thomas I think definitely get the ownership in this range um people love playing morawa and people are just I think in on JT this season and we were I mean at least for me personally coming into the season I thought he’d have a turnaround and

I’ve been on him a lot uh as well I’m gonna stay on him at 9k you know sucked last week or his last time out at the Genesis but prior to that playing really really well I’ll go back to JT here um but I think out of everyone in this

Range um you know morawa and JT are going to be the ones that that people want to go to zalatoris you know we talked about it at the last event at the Genesis he thought it was a great time to get on board with him and he did not

Disappoint finished second there um I’m gonna stay on him like he’s a guy that can easily easily be in the upper nines when everything’s right and I think he’s close to being 100% right and then you know Fleet Fleetwood cam young um yeah I don’t know you know not many initial

Thoughts on on Fleetwood but with with Cam young kind of rounding the corner he was solid this week that’s three straight solid uh finishes for him uh this is a course I think sets up pretty well for him um he kind of stands out to

Me at uh at 8700 so I don’t know I don’t have a strong read on like spe Burns H in terms of what people will do I know people will be on morawa and Thomas I think it’s just like a weekly thing people love them they’re in the low

Nines they’re not in the upper Nines It looks like a good price tag zalot torus after that T2 have to imagine people stick with him and then cam Young’s been been playing really well for three straight weeks have to imagine he gets looked up here at just 8,700 which is

Just a little bit more than the average roster spot so a lot of different builds a guy like cam young can fit in so just my initial thoughts here in this range yeah spe will go course is I know he got DQ last time so I don’t know if that’s

In the back of people’s mind but obviously history here the last two times he’s only been fourth and fourth so I could go with him H is an interesting one because most people say play hom on hom courses but this one here it’s like a 17th a 14th and a tenth

In the last three years so it’s not really that far off and he’s 9200 but because he’s got speed Burns morawa JT and then you’ve got guys like zalatoris and young cheaper than him maybe he gets a little bit overlooked I don’t know we’ll have to wait and see it is tough

Just to add on to like that point like you’re it’s it’s going to be hard to make cuts on these guys when you go through and start uh you know building out your player pool I mean there is so far everyone we’ve talked about you can

Make a strong case as to why you should be on them this week there’s not many cases uh against some of these guys in terms of why you should be off them so that that’s one thing that makes me believe the ownership from top to you know from Scotty to cam young probably

Ends up getting pretty spread out people are going to want to be on these guys and and there’s a lot more cases to play these guys opposed to being off them so I think we end up seeing a lot of spread out ownership in this range and then it

Depends what you want to do for a quick construction look just while we’re still in the same range I’ve been trying to do it within the ranges we’re talking about but you’re seeing it again here like this is now you can get three guys including uh Iceberg up top we’ll go

Back to that and just see it and now you’re still getting almost the same value left but you only have to fill three spots now so it’s like again you you can make some really nice lineups the pricing setup so far solid and I’m sure we’re going to see like every in

This field is solid I know from the list I haven’t seen all the pricing yet but just to note that real quick I will answer Nick’s question because we had a couple on it here but no uh like first of all we so the question is will we

Have Puerto Rico content we won’t uh we can talk about in the Discord whatever people want but like there DraftKings won’t even post the contest they’re still not up and when they do they’re going to be horrible it’s going to be x amount to First and pennies to fifth so

No it’s it’s not gonna be a focus there’s huge money to be one at API a ton of strategy still lots of fun and doing the API stuff so we’re always going to stick to what’s featured so definitely doing that um let’s see here uh zalatoris look back cam young has

Just been up and down but it’s been consistent of that so I don’t know if you know you think like that third eighth and a fourth in three of his last five but he’s been 10th and 13th here I think he could hold some steam and right

Now have no problem with him we’ll see where he ends up let’s keep going let’s go into this next range Fitzpatrick down to Henley rounds out the 8K range hoop so what are you doing with these guys in here yeah actually kind of works out well because I think you know starting from

Fitzpatrick might be kind of including that group above but this is where people can start saying all right I can I can make some Cuts in this range like I feel comfortable fading some of these guys here opposed to uh the range above but Fitzpatrick did look pretty good I I

Don’t know exactly where he finished last week he finished 21st uh yeah 21st so it’s not not fully back but now he’s only like 8,600 last week he was like 10 to6 so um I don’t know I don’t necessarily and he he did he win here

Did he contend here am I making insane here though 14th nth 10th nth second yeah yeah yeah so you know you can kind of include him in that that group above where you’re just going to you know find more cases to play him uh against fading

But you know the drop off kind of Starts Here Windam Clark has not been great I think people will be fine being off him Hideki coming off the win you know what do people do with that you know uh 8,400 it’s a fair price for for him um you

Chris Kirk Connors I think strike me as plays the Jake knap thing is interesting you have to imagine he gets uh quite a bit of ownership probably the highest owned in this range maybe just because of you know how well he’s been playing he finished strong this week 7600 it’s a

Long course I imagine people just want to go right back to him benan with a strong finish uh I think he shot five or six under in round four to kind of move his way up the leaderboard you know Lowry Adam Scott you know Lowry looked like [ __ ] today in Easy conditions

That’s another guy that that cost me a lot of money down the stretch and then you know what do people do with with Eric Cole uh at at 7400 Adam Scott 7500 I mean there’s again you know there’s a lot of guys that you want to play in

This range a lot of names that look appealing you know the more we kind of talk about this I think that tier that we just spoke of of in the 8K range probably goes mostly overlooked I think a lot of people are gonna go with those builds that you’ve been plugging in

Along the way here that leave you with like 7700 or 7600 you can come down here and you could finish out your lineups here in those builds without having to go lower and take the chance on some of those other dudes I think a lot of people do come

Into this uh sevenish K range um oh I just realized it went below Benny on but again there’s a lot of names here that uh that people are going to be interested in so I think those builds that you kind of lined up uh you know throughout the show here end up probably

Being pretty true in terms of what people end up doing and and that leads me to believe that AK range will probably go a little overlooked yeah you can’t spell nap without AP the approach has been solid and you go look at it he did it again

50k to first 5k to six they played if you think like a poker tournament it’s they’re playing at like a six Max where the final table gets the 10% to sixth but you got to think of it that way it’s not really the best when 10th doesn’t

Have the best payout but the $5 is out there with 50k up top it’s got 350k total prize pool so that’s not the worst and then a ton of great tournaments down below if you go down to the normal um the $12 single entry DG’s baby the the

18 Max in the $10 range that’s up to 50K so it’s the uh the 5K to first so pretty pretty solid otherwise there’s lots of good tournaments though this week and then of course all the satellites and everything that will come out you can try and get into the mega par three at
