Hey everyone it’s Tony again here t206 kit uh just wanted to do a video about uh my baseball room my man cave my collection room whatever you want to call it um fig I have some time to do that so I just want to go through it
Really quick show you some of the cooler things in my collection um so I don’t have a big room um I have a three-bedroom house and uh so my wife and I we don’t have any kids but we have three bedrooms so we have our uh master bedroom and then the
Other two rooms uh mine’s the baseball room and we call her room uh the music room she collects a lot of vinyl records so and has some cool music stuff so that’s where she puts her stuff um if we ever do have kids one day um I don’t
Mind giving up this room definitely rather have um a nice room for uh kid son or daughter then this baseball stuff so when that time comes either this stuff will be you know put in storage or you know maybe sold or I do have a big garage so odds are to
Probably end up going in there for the time being um so so I’ll show you some things um there’s not going to be really any cards in this video so it’s just going to be some stuff I have on my walls so you come in
Um um on my door there that’s just my big Labowski little poster um if you know any I’m sure a lot of a lot of you seen that movie uh Louisville they do a Labowski Fest every year it’s pretty popular here I think it actually started here back in like 2008 2009 um
So I do have some uh Louisville Slugger stuff I worked there for six years um unfortunately covid had uh ended my time there um unfortunately uh me and bunch of my co-workers good friends we lost our jobs there because of co uh really hit hard it’s been almost
Four years now so I have you know I’ve gotten over it but in the same time I’ve not gotten over it I mean when you move down here, miles to take a job in a city um I won’t get into it but yeah basically um it didn’t end to well so I
Do but I do still have some stuff here um some Old Slugger um endorse players actually that thing on top there I think my wife found that at a thrift store um here’s my 1986 uh I think it’s 16 by 20 photo Jesse arasco 1986 World Series when the
Mets won um some by mostly everybody um it doesn’t have Gary Carter um unfortunately he already had passed away when this was signed um doesn’t have Ron Darling and I think it’s also missing Kevin Mitchell um but I do have Kevin Mitchell on another item um be alert for
Foul balls Cubs actually got that in Chicago and I like signage I’ve you know this I had actually in my room back in New Jersey years ago and just some different signs here I have some bats um the first bat on the right’s actually one I made um on a hand turning
Leg myself if you ever been to the Slugger Museum um part of the tour is you know make bats the oldfashioned way so that’s just one I had made um this one here uh in the case you know I worked there for six years and as going away had a bunch
Of Museum people co-workers um Factory workers sign that so um you know it’s cool I mean it’s part of my history but I again it didn’t end too well uh bat behind it’s kind of hard to see that’s just a Billy Butler sign bat uh here we
Have a Jay Payton this actually a game issue 2000 World Series bat and then just a buba treml uh game use bat right there um some other stuff I have a few Funko Pops nothing too major um ones I do have mostly Sandlot related I love those um
Actually shaneo bazinsky who plays uh Tommy Timmons in the film um gotten friendly with him over the last few years um he came into Slugger couple of times really good guy lives in Florida now um some old baseball gloves and actually in this box this was my old here I’ll I’ll cut off
My last name there but this was my old business card there from Slugger so I had a few of those still left um know bab Ruth and Lou garri there my wife actually got me this for my birthday back in 2018 along with some other met stuff this was a press F or
Press FAS press release uh when the Mets bought um uh Jack Hamilton um so that that little old memo is from 1965 and up here you know originally this was just supposed to be for bobbleheads but it turned into you know a few other things to put on there there
Um you know some that were Stadium giveaways this old Mets one from the 60s my wife gave me that for my uh birthday few years ago it’s Gary Cohen there autograph metsa announcer now I’m not a Braves fan but that Tripper Jones C in the back there it’s actually the first card I
Ever bought at a card show uh when I lived in New Jersey so first card show in my town there I went to oh God well over 20 years ago first card I bought surprisingly I still have it um so I like to keep that just cuz
It’s the first one I ever got at a card show up here that’s a Smokey Joe wood sign check um a couple of sign photos there Don Dale car striky and I I’ll have a couple photos of me and ball players in in the room here it’s me with Johnny Bench it’s Yi
Bara Kevin marar John Lackey me with Duke Snider my brother above my TV I have this really cool wooden sign um actually got this right when Co um started uh I think was made from a with a guy from New Jersey um so I bought that really
Cool out of those four cards of Christy matthewson portrait there is the only one I have they were of the original cards um down there I got some cool stuff on my bottom shelf um some autographed baseballs Mike Patza David R right Juan marelle Yogi barazer Bob Feller if
You’re an autograph collector pretty much everybody’s got a Bob Feller autograph a few more things here here’s uh I didn’t go to it but this is a ticket from David Wright’s final game back in 2018 uh with a tops Now card from that now this card it is autog
I don’t know if that’s a legit Auto though uh years ago I used to write players through the mail and I got this David write one back in like 2006 um there was so I always heard rumors that maybe he used the ghost signer at the time or girlfriend or
Secret so I don’t know so it may not be but um I’ve had it for a long time so I just like putting it in there um is a towel from Keith Hernandez day City Field um some more bobbleheads Frank Thomas Todd Frasier that’s actually Harry right
There now the one with the this one here this is The Cookie Lady um if you’re not familiar with her um she’s very popular down here in Louisville and she hands out well she doesn’t hand out she sells cookies at the Louisville Bats Ballpark and um she’s basically a staple there
And a few years ago they had a bobblehead for her there and then uh it’s a cool photo this is my dad and my cousin back in or my Dad’s cousin Back in 1970 when they used have Banner Day at Shay stadium so they actually go on the
Field um couple random cards there like Wayne corbette he uh he’s from my hometown in Garfield New Jersey oh I just showed you all my names there so big deal uh there’s a 1919 Chicago White Socks uh this is a huge huge pet Rose poster I got this at the national back
In 2010 when it was in Baltimore um I did have a custom framed I think I paid $35 for the poster itself just a few more random things allstar game program actually went to the Home Run Derby in 2018 when I was in Washington it’s probably my favorite
Photo me and my brothers there front of the Twin Towers this photo was taken in June 2001 so just a few months before they knocked the towers down couple more bobbleheads ham and Squints they gave out that was out at the bat Stadium a few years
Back and these glasses these are my hand turning glasses so when I earlier I mentioned that bat I man on the hand turning lath so that that’s I wear glasses so being a prescriptions I it’s hard to wear safety goggles over regular glasses so I had these specially made um
But been years since I’ve worn them obviously but still like to keep them there mitz pennet Yogi Bara photo autograph uh this here 1969 mete book um this was actually my dad so my dad had this when he was a kid and I’ve had it
For a while just got a frame well I didn’t just get a frame but I just put it in a cheap frame got it hanging on the wall uh this here that’s my uh that was my ticket and on the bottom left there that was my hotel room key that was when
I went to the um 2018 allstar game festivities in Washington to go to the home run derby um it was a really cool event it was definitely something I’m really glad I did and I got to cross off my baseball bucket list go to the Home Run Derby it’s my Piaza
Poster and they’re hanging on that cinal sign those are just some of my credentials from different fan fests and and stuff when I was at Slugger they lineup car from a White Socks game back in 2015 signed by Robin ventor when he was manager there this was an old uh display sign
Personalize your bats now this here interesting story about this guy Craig Brazil um didn’t amount to much in the major leagues stiny pretty sure he had a pretty good career over there in Japan but uh went to a game in 2004 when uh Mets playing the Cubs end of the season
Uh Cubs were trying to get to the playoffs um they failed the Mets actually had a hand in keeping them out Mets were horrible that year though don’t exactly remember what the record Wass but uh Craig Brazil he uh actually hit the game-winning Homer walk-off home
Run I think I want to say it was the 11th inning Bott the 11th he hit it and uh that was his first career home run and in it turned out to be his only career home run so I still have that ticket from there and just threw a 2003 tops card in
There Tom sver autograph uh another ticket Stu from a game I went too this was in 2011 um also against the Cubs uh Justin Turner hit a walk-off hit against the Cubs to win the game and it just so happened that year um well for the 20 12 top set Topps used
Uh um that moment as Justin’s uh card there so I wrote him a letter explain that I was at the game and yeah he signed it so it’s pretty cool that I have that ticket stub to go along with the baseball card that he signed and uh
Yeah so I was actually at that game so that was cool got the San Diego chicken actually my wife found that out of Goodwill here think she pay maybe five bucks for it and know just a photo I took I got to go to Incubus concert back in
2019 um took one of the guys that that are it’s in the band on the tour and you know it’s kind of like do you want to go to the concert tonight sure so called my wife said we’re going to Incubus concert and actually watched it from on stage so
That was my pass and then that was a picture I took of Brandon Boyd and then just got some kind of memorability card I threw in there for that so yeah and then you know I got my couch in here with a couple Mets blankets baseball pillow Mets
Pillow now in the corner here it’s empty right now but typically I’ll have my binders in there for my sets um kind of sorting through a few things right now so that’s why it’s empty and uh it’s a pretty cool table I actually made this in high school
Um New Jersey uh 20 something years ago uh actually even back then it was the only one of the only schools that still had a wood shop class so um yeah I made that and I use that in here so a few more bobbleheads and whatnot yeah so that’s my
Uh my little baseball room here

New Subscriber. Great video and fantastic room tour. Great Mets photo signed by the 86 Mets. Super Mets memorabilia. Always enjoy hearing from a former Jersey resident, especially Bergen County. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed the tour.
I don't see any Garfield card show memorabilia! Great tour! Good luck with the new channel.
