Welcome everyone we are live from Royal greens golfing Country Club here in Jetta right across from the beautiful Red Sea in Club 54 we’re looking at the uh 18th hole and we couldn’t be more excited it’s day three welcome to Club 54 pre-round show I’m your host Christian Crosby joining me is Jerry

Fultz per usual my guy my BFF was that good is that good what does BFF stand for best friend forever of course you didn’t know that no you don’t text me enough to get all I don’t get all the acronyms down yeah best friend forever Jerry that’s BFF yeah that’s you I had

It something else that I won’t even say it well let’s get into the show after that one Jerry um I do notice you didn’t wear the pants I gifted you yesterday this is the closest this is the only pair of pants that I own that I thought you

Would give approval to that look kind of like they are a little baggy modernish they are modern we actually have a picture of you here holding up the the pants I gifted you we’re calling these the Hammer pants MC Hammer pants like this you know what if I stay here any

Longer with the food I’ve been eaten I’m going to grow right into those things you you look pretty miserable with those pants in your hand it’s all right we’ll get you there one step at a time uhhuh well that’s basically one pizza at a time to get into those things all right

Shall we get into day three sure why not we got to talk about wacon nean uh are we going to witness myoba all over again or what I smart money would say yes absolutely the way he’s hitting it the way he’s striking the ball off the tea

And the way he’s been putting this week would say absolutely yes but he has proven in the past that he can be human um he he needs to get his work done today and not worry about anybody else that’s easier said than done he doesn’t

Take me as the type of guy that would worry about someone else but would you say there’s someone he should be worried about is well you know it’s it’s a good question the conventional wisdom is all he has to worry about is himself because if he goes out and shoots four under

Likely couldn’t be caught five or six under it’s over and that’s the way he’s played the first two days should be a given but that’s not always the case we saw him struggle a little bit in round two at myoba as well and if he throws

Something in the one or two over range which is not a terrible round um a lot of guys could catch him as we take a look at his graphic here I like to call it the Lazy Susan I got that from the Twitter that’s season long so that’s

Basically eight rounds of golf it’s a small sampling size against 53 other guys but you see him first and short approach that’s wedge game that’s that’s all those little shots those touch shots touchy fely shots that he’s so good at off the te that’s total driving Strokes

Gain total driving third that’s not a surprise and he’s right up there again in that category this week what is a surprise it’s long approach and on the Green long approach 52nd fast the stat from 150 to 225 yard and he is so good in that range so as we get more rounds

Under the belt that number is going to drop dramatically all right well let’s get into some of his highlights from day two uh let’s check these out here and would love to hear you take us through them Jerry on the eight B yeah really

Tough par three and we saw a lot of guys struggle with this t-shot he didn’t this he even talked about it in in his talk with the media afterwards he said that was just I mean could have just as easily gone in then at nine he ran into

A little trouble had this lengthy one for par and those are the difference makers right there not wasting shots not giving them away not making unforced airs T of Par Four he drove it up next pretty near the green just a short wet shot from the bunker that is a hard shot

For even highly trained professionals and he hits it to a gimme range then at 12 another midlength for birdie again those putts that you expect to make you think you can make but you just statistically don’t make them that of often and then he made that birdie with

Some serious Pace at 17 went on to birdie 18 as well Jerry is it safe to say wo nean is one of the best golfers in the world right now it’s not only safe to say a Christian it’d be stupid to say he’s not it’d be politically

Motivated as what it would be because anybody with a brain anybody with any kind of golf knowledge or even just casual knowledge knows he’s one of the best players in the world I couldn’t agree more wae nean recently received an invitation to participate in the Masters the 25-year-old is one of golf’s Rising

Stars and was excited to know he’ll have a shot at that Green Jacket take a look I actually never never thought I was going to be getting an invite do you want to play the majes I mean I I’m I’m just ready I thought it was just needed

To be inside the top 50 and just trying to do that playing a little bit more I mean I want to win Majors but I get I get to in first all well you’re going to get in okay you’re going to get in I got the best call I could ever had coming

From a guy uh they needed a verbal a verbal yes from me that’s saying that I confirmed that I want accept the invitation I like yeah I want accept Masters invites last week as well for wco congratulations to the Chilean on that yeah I mean doesn’t get any better

You do but it’s it’s great it works and here’s a tweet uh wackin neeman’s game is in great shape ahead of the Masters he certainly want to watch over the next few weeks I mean obviously Twitter are are big fans of him and uh this doesn’t

Surprise me at all no that that I mean I think I believe I was going to say ryy Fallen I think that’s very a very good observation I think he is rounded into great shape for the Masters and he wanted to be there so bad and kudos to

The committee at Augusta National for giving him that shall we talk about Charles schwarzel why not I think we should I mean he’s on fire right now how do he keep that flame burning well you know what he’s on fire on the greens and he hasn’t putted this good by his own

Admission since our very inaugural event to 2022 London outside of London at Centurion Club where he just lit it up on the greens and went on to win our very first event he hasn’t had that feeling on the green sense the driver that he changed to though it’s a little

Bit shorter than his old driver he’s not driving it great but he’s keeping it in play and giving himself a chance to get it in position to keep firing it firing on all cylinders to use a really tired cliche when he’s on the greens I mean

Jer it’s it’s really not just him it seems like his whole team can do no wrong here in jeda right well you have three really proven veterans you have two major winners in us haasen and Schwarz himself you have Brendan Grace who was the first guy to break 63 in a men’s

Major championship they are proven competitors they are and they are still they also have a lot of great golf ahead of them but then you got the one wild card that they added last year to their team Dean burmester who can is just an explosive player he won back-to-back

Events at home in South Africa in our off season and he hits at a mile all right let’s talk Jason kraak we had him on our post show yesterday he was in such high Spirits had a great day yesterday uh what does he need to do

Today to keep that going you know he’s a streaky player by his own admission he’s a streaky player and he he actually uh got a little bit of motivation yesterday playing alongside AB answer when they both played really well and was Abes caddy Benji Thompson who said after they

Both made a couple of Birdie putts on the same hole in in his Southern way goes let’s fill her up today boys and they just kept doing it and doing it so he uh he said to his CAD yesterday I’m going to make a Little Bit Stronger

Effort to commit to my lines on each shot to not have so much doubt in my mind over and he goes and it paid off I started hitting where I was Ang started hitting good shots and he made some putts so he he needs to for him to be

Successful today I think knowing him as well as I do and knowing his his style of play he needs to get off to a good start I mean it’s looking like his swag is a little different right now like he’s walking a little different he’s moving a little different yeah well

That’s a swing that’s never changed as well it is so repetitive he just takes it back drops it inside it’s that little draw uh when it’s clicking it’s clicking and and you know he’s a big guy who’s not afraid of anybody in real life and he’s not afraid of anybody on the golf

Course but he is a streaky player and and like most golfers he can also be his Own Worst Enemy with his internal talk if things aren’t going his way all right well it’s day three final round let’s take a look at that individual leaderboard Jerry when you look at this

Leaderboard tell me what excites you the most about this leaderboard as we go into day three what excites me the most is I’m reading this leaderboard standing next to my butt see I give you the same answer every day and it it it but it’s absolutely true

What excites me the most is you look up and down that leaderboard and you see those names one of the hottest young players in the game walk nean Charles schwarzel former Masters champion Lou usas best swing in the game and he’s he’s won Majors but he should have won a

Whole lot more as good as he is and as close as he’s come it was only three years ago he had two three top three finishes in the majors you go on down that list you got Rah you got Mickelson it’s just amazing each every week but

You also have a lot of great players uh who have yet to win out here in Pursuit well you mentioned Phil Mickelson Phil and his brother Tim gave us all access to our day yesterday let’s take a look all right what’s our mindset to get

Urgent score where we at what do we got to do we make the cut right on one under okay or no see we shot we made the cut two under cut was going to be one we got it to two now if we want to move up

We’re going to going way have to shoot so ready to get in it for suay so just like you said sense of urgency let’s go let have a good day s of urgency yep visually I’ve got it coming right to left once it gets past the first tire

Mark boy they’re sure in a walking fast mood right now aren’t they do we want to stick with I got a draw it’s either going to be a draw seven or it might a it could be it could be like a it could be like a pels cut

Yards The rosters of this year’s live golf league are impressive to say the least every team has major Champions and top 10 players which one is the favorite uh you’ll get a lot of answers on that question right here check it Out probably six or seven teams that could they could win the thing and you wouldn’t be surprised to look really strong every day it was some someone shooting like five six on the par they learned how to win and they just kid winning tqu is so deep you know like

They go one through four as good as anybody obviously The Crushers we won last year extremely solid Crushers with what they did last year I feel like you had to pay attention to they’re the ones on the mountain top right now they’re holding the trophy they got their hands

On the trophy nobody else does you know the Fireballs are going to be a strong team this year having pooch in there who’s who played really good in the second half of the season is going to be a good team I’m only focused on our team to be honest with you that’s

That’s the only team I care about what Brooks has done with smash that’s definitely going to be a team that we’re going to be battling out quite a bit this year any team that Taylor G happens to be on is obviously a team you got to

Kind of watch out for I mean they’re going to be super strong The Stingers are always a very strong team they’ve won tournaments Lou coming on really strong four aces are always going to be the Four Aces they’ve created that name they’ve created that environment Four Aces obviously with

Dustin and them are always going to be strong in the addition of Harold Barner they got I mean great four players it really is everybody right uh the hardest thing I’d say about being a live golf fan is choosing a team to be a fan of they’re all great we’re

To get it done today um and there’s only three guys in our current top 10 who have one in Grace schwarzel and Neiman of course so you would think odds are include that pack of seven players also includes John Rong right you would think odds are there’s a good chance we don’t

We have a firsttime winner but I I just can’t bet against NE I I I literally couldn’t live with myself if I bet against how well that kid is playing right now oh yeah we have a lot of fans uh believing that we will see a new individual Champion I say neither you’re

Still going You’re Still Standing ground standing on business well we’ll revisit it in the post game okay all right shall we get into some team talk I feel like we came into this week talking about smash GC but Stinger GC has stole the show yes they have what how do how have

They gotten to this point solid consistent solid play uh good play from their from their three veterans uh bermas hasn’t played his best yet this week but if he makes a significant Improvement today I think they’re uncatchable because I don’t think any of those three veterans in Schwarz will

Grace and usas are going to really spit the bit today uh but by the by the same token as we take a look at The Stingers who are all warming up as a team together with some gorgeous golf swings shortz swing is phenomenal us Haas is probably the prettiest I’ve ever seen

But when you when you think of Smash Smash started in Vegas the final round they were three shots back of two different teams they ended up winning by seven they’re seven back right now that is counting all four scor that is not insurmountable I think any team within

11 or 12 has a legitimate chance of winning the difference here being compared to Vegas Vegas was freezing cold singer shot 16 over collectively as a team the final round CU it was so cold they’re South African that doesn’t suit him that well um but yesterday they were

Pretty swing of Louis Haas and at number seven up to just a little kick in from 2 and 1/2 ft this one Brandon Grace he can get streaky with the putter he’s not consistently the world’s best putter but he can get streaky excited to see what Stinger GC

Does there’s this team called smash GC uh should The Stingers be worried about these guys in the final day uh yeah they’re they’re all scoreboard Watchers they have to be and that’s kind of the beauty of live golf is that team atmosphere and that team camaraderie and

Rooting for each other and feeling like you’re playing for a little greater purpose than just yourself that is uh that that’s agreed upon and felt amongst every single player in the field except for our of course our two wild cards um for smash to get it done today Gran

Mcdal has to do what he did in Vegas and be the MVP and really go out and put a low one up today exactly like he did in Vegas two overp par for the tournament he doesn’t have his best stuff thus far but it’s a golf course it’s a ball

Striker’s golf course he is a ball Striker he can get it done here it’s not an overly long course although there are some long holes but he can he can get it done so you’re saying GMAC is a game changer for final day for smash GC the beauty of counting all four scores

Absolutely all right so we are actually going to uh take a look at Legion 13 love talking about John Ramen Legion 13 I love this team they’re so fun to watch uh let’s talk about their day yesterday and uh what are you thinking as we head

Into the final day for Legion well you know what’s John ROM he he didn’t play his best yesterday he didn’t hit it that great he uh and he he’s not making any putts but absolutely they have a chance because of you got John RAM and you got

Terell Hatton I say it all the time veteran players great players world class players and then the two unproven Commodities and Caleb areat and Kieran Vincent who have shown that they belong out here um they yeah they can get it done I expect Rah to play well everybody

Expects BR to play well it’s a shock when he doesn’t play well um Terell Hatton is going to be there for his team on Sunday uh those two young players are the wild cards they’re the intangible they’re the unknown if they play really great golf collectively they Legion

Could walk away with it believe it or not yeah if Jerry hasn’t given you guys enough to uh know what to watch for today we’re going to check in with domond suan to get their thoughts and Dom you’re up first Waco nean has only hit 11 out of 28 Fairways but he’s third

Has to hit it in the fairways because he tends to lose control over the golf ball out of the rough because of his shallower angle of attack so the difference between him and getting that trophy today is hitting the fairways thank you Dom thank you suan Jerry I

That brings something good to a to a Sunday where you know I’m trying to turn the week from a from an average one into a good one and if I can contribute something great to the team that’ be amazing today you definitely can where’s Ken there he is how does it change for

You you just had GMAC he’s refocusing might not be his best week but he’s going out there with a good mindset yeah absolutely I think it’s uh you know it’s the incentive itself not to be the sort of the the the bottom guy on Sundays
