#VokeyWedges #VokeySM10 #Titleist

In order to be a new SM line, it’s got  to be better than the previous one. But   what is better? Three biggest changes with  SM10: we have incredible-looking profiles,   an improved center of gravity position,  and a refined spin mill cutting process.

The look of the golf club is really important,  and firstly, it inspires confidence. If I can   see consistency throughout the bag, that’s  something huge in a wedge for me. We wanted   to make sure that when somebody is picking out  a certain loft, we’re able to lock in a profile.

No matter what grind you got, it’s going to  look the same when you put it down. Then we   can move on to CG. It’s really what’s under the  hood that makes an SM10 really, really perform.  In the higher lofts, we’ve pushed it higher  and forward so that the club dynamically

Rotates better. Moving the center of gravity a  little higher helps you get a lower ball flight,   more spin, and more control. I think I could hit  the high one with any club, but with these Vokeys,   that’s where that low one allows me to have  that distance control. In the lower lofts,

We move the CG a little bit towards the  center, still heel bias, but it helps   eliminate the little bit of draw that some players  weren’t looking for. The end result is a lower,   straighter ball flight, and ultimately,  you’re going to hit it closer more often.

Players aren’t asking for less spin. With  SM10 we’ve improved our spin mill process to   vary the width and depth of each groove,  loft by loft and up and down the face,   so we can give you maximum spin in all conditions  on all shots. Everything that has come from SM6,

7, 8, 9 has been put into SM10. These really  are precision scoring instruments. Bob Vokey   always says the most important club we  can put in someone’s bag is confidence.

  1. Only thing that matters is turf interaction, consistency in spin/launch, feel, and looks. If you want to make the SM9 better the only way I see is A. Get rid of the bulbous toe somehow and B. narrow spin gap in wet conditions. They're pretty much perfect otherwise.

  2. Great to see the world nicest guy Corey on screen! As for the wedges, the sounds they were making on contact were almost as harmonic as the music playing in the background. Just phenomenal sounding. Looking forward to putting them in the bag.

  3. No doubt about it, I'm going to feel like a champ rolling the turf over the ball with these bad boys
