I can finally talk about the most anticipated irons of 2024 say hello to the Ping blueprint oh Zipp on that One right everyone welcome back to the channel today we are at lahasenda on the heathland course and behind me is the 14th hole it’s going to be a tough test but I’ve got the brand New Ping blueprint irons to help me navigate this green these have been much anticipated

For probably the last 6 months or so we’ve seen it in the bag for many ping players and also Adam Scott now there are more than one model available with the Ping blueprint but I’m going to be using the Ping blueprint s today I will’ll get on to the other models later

In this video at custom golf works first up we a little bit a look to these irons cuz there are some differences compared to traditional ping irons most notably they’ve gone for a slightly glossy finish on the top line of the head of the club with usual pink irons we used

To seeing kind of a matte kind of not Chrome glossy finish at all but they’ve kind of changed this now for this player iron I think it’s a welcome change it makes it a little better looking and increases the Shelf appeal but I’d welcome your guys’ opinions in the

Comments do you like this from ping do you like this new addition for the looks or do you think we want to keep forwards that i525 finish now the Ping blueprints are their Signature Players iron these are meant for good players I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with a handicap

Of eight or above and that is actually pushing it we’ve seen the likes of Lou St Terrell Hatton and others use these I and win with them so they are meant for tall players but if you are a ball Striker I’d recommend trying them out

Six iron I’ve got in my hand today and to be honest they look quite similar to that of a tailor made p7 MC titless T100 Cy Apex Pro CB so it’s not a true blade it’s got a slight bit of offset but as I said it’s quite a small Heel To Toe

Length so it is a very Compact iton and this in the models is the most forgiving one in the blueprint range ping usually not known for their classical forged feel but as we can see here forged right on the head so we should be feeling some increased performance increased feel and

Actually should rival the likes of tight list mauno Callaway and Taylor Made these are some big claims but I think so far fire the looks I’m a big fan and I’ve hit these already and I am very very impressed but to find out how good

They really are we need to put them on a simulator so let’s head over to the custom golf Works in woking a little bit different scenario to here in sunning Spain head over there put on a GC quad and see what the numbers are all about

Right so we are here at custom golf works with the pink blueprint iron and I’ve hit a array of good and not so good shots with it what I can see in the data here is well a lot of really good things overall the ball speed is very consistent at

13.1 mph that is about PGA Tour average yeah but with the spin rate being slightly low it’s because my usual Miss is towards the toe as you guys have probably seen in this testing I hit some good shots but some really bad shots some ones that basically missed this

Tiny little face here what I like about this iron and what I like about a lot of players irons is yes this club definitely tells you when you hit it out of the toone and out of the heel this club gives you a lot of feedback similar

To the strix and Z x7s but I was still actually getting some quite nice shots like when I hit a shot I would look away and discuss my mental game is not great right now I was not happy yet it went onto the green 200 yards away a shot had

100% take on the course the one thing about this iron though is the sound is a little bit odd it doesn’t sound like a proper forged iron such as Mauna mura titless that is more of a ping sound and as well as that I think the feel out of

The middle is superb but when you’re hitting it out of the heel and out of the toe I know there are irons that feel a little bit better the defense of that is don’t hit it out the toe and out of the heel a lot of PGA Tour players have

Put this in play already but then again they hid it out of The Sweet Spot something that I still haven’t found in my 27 years of living so this is definitely an iron that I could consider putting it in my bag but for a Feld point of view is there some better irons

Out there yes but overall performance forgiveness for a very compact head I don’t think there’s that much out there that’s a lot better so take with that what you will for feel for sound if that’s what you’re going for maybe look at another brand if overall performance

A’t getting better which arguably is the most important thing blueprint so data done data good how is it on the course let’s head back to the Heat course at lenda a really really hard hole and see how the pink blueprints get on so here we are back at the 14th hole at the

Heathland course at lahasenda this really windy today it’s about 30 to 40 m hours into and off the right now I’m using an eight iron here for the Ping blueprint it’s going to try and keep it below the breeze we’ got F swing lined

Up as well I’m going to say I’m going to try and hold it but you’re going to see it goes straight left as soon as it goes in the air come on let’s see it one close I’m feeling I’m feeling it in Holdem on I’m feeling it

Just like that that’s a really nice shot is that a really nice shot it oh it’s deep okay it’s deep interesting okay uh might have to go to a pitch and wedge if this is uh still deep which is okay it’s just the I need

The wind to pick up a little bit more for it that looks good does that look good oh little little Zipp on that one as well okay there we go we’re kind of using this workability of these ping blueprints now I don’t think you could do this with

Let’s say a tailor made Qi an iron that doesn’t really have workability but has forgiveness I could essentially now try and hit a low fade stuff like that so these are now showing their weight and showing their Worth showing their weight and showing their worth weight in gold

Yeah showing the worst weight in gold with these irons here can we get closer let’s see will will that’s right at it will oh that that was good W so the shot Tracer there a lot higher I didn’t compact that one as much cuz I don’t really need to now and it caught

The wind a little bit span a little bit more as you can see as well with the wonderful for swing and we’ve just hit two there about 6 foot let’s keep it rolling no dreaming of a hole in one ah you wrap scalling you just call

It a little bit toey I’ll be intering to see where it goes yeah pin High I’m getting a lot of zip as well for that that was just just see here little bit out of the toe little bit shy as well which is okay this is a really hard shot

For a bit only being 150 yards and I think my dispersion so far is pretty adequate these feel good though for a ping I think these are the best feeling pings that I’ve tried in a long long time and that is with some feedback too that I’ve already talked about a custom

Golf Works few more stop it wind a the wind is such a silly Billy Love B spin there okay we’re going to hit one more for the boys and the girls for this video I’m trying I need to K start it right of the pin and zip

It back a little bit we’re getting a lot of uh zage uh to go for it but I’m really impressed with how workable these are how good they feel off the face and also to be honest they’re actually quite forgiving for quite a compact iron they’re still kind of terrifying as well

Because of how short that Heel To Toe length is but I’m really enjoying them I think if you’re a good golfer you will too so what we’re going to do now boys and girls going try and start it right a little bit deep and spin back the doctor ordered doctor I’m

Ill have a hole in one son come on come on come on spin no I mean that’s what the doctor prescribed me the wrong medicine that was literally B on didn’t spin enough hung on a little bit in the air to be honest though for quite a difficult hole

If you look at those shots there the collection of them I’m actually pretty happy with that these I don’t want to say it again guys but these could could go in my back the dispersion there on a very difficult day at laasa actually even impressed me

Even though it was only about 150 yards away these ping blueprint irons came out top now I think there a question that a lot of people ask yourselves me in terms of these irons are they as good as the likes of Muno Titus things like that the

Premium feeling players ions now I think this is definitely a step in the right direction and my answer is probably not quite when you’re pushing towards Muno but feel is only one piece of the puzzle I think in terms of performance ping always come out top for dispersion and

Forgiveness these pack a punch for a very small iron my dispersion that you guys saw there was very good even for an eight iron which you would expect to hit very well it was a very blustery day and I had some nooks and crannies in there

What I’m going to have to do to find out what the best players iron is of 2024 is put these up against the big boys the likes of tailor made titless mauno Callaway and a lot more it’s going to be a lot of fun because the winner I will
