The DP World Tour returns to South Africa this week for the SDC Championship, the first of two back-to-back co-sanctioned events with the Sunshine Tour on the International Swing. Matthew Baldwin returns to defend his title this week at St Francis Links after winning his maiden DP World Tour title on his milestone 200th DP World Tour start last year. The Englishmen will hope to find the same form he produced during the 2023 SDC Championship as he searches for his first top 10 of the season. Zander Lombard will also be in the field this week. The South African has finished no worse than a tie for 16th in his five starts on the International Swing. His form has seen him climb to a career-high 96th in the Official World Golf Ranking stretching back to the D+D Real Czech Masters in August, the last time he missed a cut. Ewen Ferguson will be teeing it up in South Africa this week. With back-to-back top tens in Qatar and Kenya, the Scotsman is finding momentum and confidence in his game. He also claimed T3 on his debut here last season. Others to look out for are Romain Langasque, Rikuya Hoshino and Jordan Smith.
