Hey guys my name’s Ben Howard we’re back out here at Dolly Cooper to get ready for the second big thaw presented by repad if you haven’t watched the front nine appreciate if you go back and watch that but right now we’re on hole 10 this

One’s a par three 305 ft you can see the Red Basket Straight Ahead um on this one I like to go to the left side of this tree on anheiser with like a straight mid-range and just let it Coast back to the right past that tree hopefully kind

Of flatten out and push straight near the end but like I said in the first video we’re just going for play that make par pretty easy and that is the biggest gap on this hole cuz trying to push something down there just straight at the basket it’s really difficult cuz

You got to have a really specific height only thing really got to pay attention to those is this bush right here straight off the tea can kind of get in your head a little bit but it’s not going to matter so let’s go ahead and see if we can get up there stay

High kind of dropped a little bit we got a headwind apparently huh that’s weird they should have held it up if anything I’m going to try that shot again with the overstable mid-range and a driver and see if how those react and nope that’s why I like going

With the straighter mid-range is cuz a lot of times even if I don’t commit to the shot as much as I need to it’s still going to kind of just push straight it’s not going to fade out like that one did let’s try the driver that feels really

Good stabled out a little too fast on me but that’s going to be probably a little past pen high and honestly probably in like Circle two somewhere so if I need to I can step up to a a driver but I feel like sticking with the mid-range is

Going to keep me from making some huge mistakes and putting myself in some bad spots so I’ll probably go with the mid-range unless there’s like a headwind or something on this hole oh that was not good that’s fine I can make that we go so looks like the ark almost made it

To the next holees teapad so there’s a chance I might step up to the Fairway driver if like I need and really need a birdie on this hole or something like that but yeah I think most of the time just going to stick with the mid-range but if I need to get

Aggressive I can definitely step up to that that’ll be that’ll be nice to have in my back pocket all right guys we’re on hole 11 this one’s a par three 210 ft you can see the basket right here about halfway up this hill in front of us um

Only real Gap is this one off to the right which is a really tricky shot cuz either you’ve got to go with like a chop forehand that’ll hold the angle the whole way through the Gap then start to bend left and then flatten out and push straight or some kind of pushing Hiser

On the backand that will get in front of these trees you can kind of see right here cuz those trees are probably I would say about 30 ft short of the basket so if you want to get up there to the basket you’ve got to cut in front of

Them while still pushing forward and going uphill I’m going to try both the forehand and the backhand just to see which one feels better but I think going to go with the backand as my main play just cuz I feel like it’s a more consistent play for par oh oh

Wow a I got super lucky and super unlucky in the same shot dang that should be easy up and down for par though uh let’s see let’s try the forehand ah nope didn’t get it to pan at all that’s that’s about the angle you want cuz you need it on like a super

Steep angle so it like bends left while flattening out nice part about this hole is you got a good back stop so I still give this a nice bid for a birdie come on oh dang so close so I threw a few more practice shots

After that and I think what I’m going to do is I’m going to throw the Thunderbird on this hole instead of the arc because the Arc was just kind of holding the line I put it on just kind of pushing straight while not really fading too

Much and I think with the Thunderbird I can get that left to right movement that I need CU you can see with the even with the yellow Arc which is my most stable one it cut the corner and still hit the tree on the right side of the basket so

If I did throw it the where I meant to throw it it was just going to go dead straight and not get over here to the Bas basket so hopefully the thunder bird will give me the flight I need all right guys we’re on hold 12 this one’s a par 3

290 ft baskets down this way tucked around to the left um best thing you really do in this hole is just take something overstable throw it out High out to the right just let it fade in biggest thing you got to pay attention to though is just past the basket the

Ground drops down a good 5 to 10 feet so if you go long it’s very easy to take a really big number on this hole so main thing you want to make sure you do is just have a disc that you know you can’t get to the tree line at all and just

Have it dump pretty hard I’m going to try the thunder bird but I might step up to the xenot we’ll see what the Thunderbird does that looks exactly like I wanted it to I think it’s parked yeah that’s parked we go with that unless you that’s the thing with

Dolly like you’ve always just got to have an extra plan in case there’s a bunch of wind out here so odds are if I need to I’ll step up to the Xenon but we just have to see what happens on tournament day all right guys we’re on hole 13 this

One’s a par three I think like 380 ft something like that baskets up this way off to the right uh if you want to get up there for a birdie you’ve got to basically throw something at this tree and have it Bend off of it to the right

While still pushing forward to get down there to the green this one’s probably the hardest hole on the course if not at least like the hardest Birdie on the course so I’m going to try an aggressive play and I’m going to try a safe play on this one the aggressive play I’m just

Going to take a flippy distance driver push it up there and see if I can just get it to bend right the whole way and then the safe one I’ll probably take either putter or mid-range and just try and push it up there straight so that

Way I’ve got got a easy approach shot to the green but see if we can get this driver up there dang I thought I threw that perfect but I think it stap out a little bit too soon on me but that’s exactly what I wanted that’s almost perfect now

Let’s see yeah try try laying up with the mid-range yeah that should be good too it sucks cuz like you want to give it a little bit extra height just cuz you’re going really far uphill but that Branch just gets in your head and makes you throw it

A little too low luckily I threw those both really good Heights to where they were actually able to kind of continue skipping up the hill but yeah I think it’s just going to be another we’ll have to see where I’m at during the tournament if I need the stroke I

Need to go for the birdie I’ll go with the driver but odds are I’ll probably just stick with that mid-range play okay so that’s actually kind of funny this is the tree I was talking about off the tea that you need to get right of and I kind of did tried to at

Least but dang it this is just far enough to where this putts really scary and I don’t want to run it but I want to run it cuz I don’t think I’ve ever got a two on this hole before this is one of the best drivers I’ve ever thrown so the

Tournament definitely lay this up but let’s go and run it why not oh it slipped out of my hand sit sit sit sit oh thank you all right guys we’re on hole 14 this one’s a par three 310 ft baskets up this way off to the left uh there’s two plays

I’ve really seen on this hole the play I like to go for is a backhand with the overstable driver get it out over these trees they’re about 1502 ft in front of us just have it drift left while still kind of pushing forward or you can go for like a forehand turnover that’ll

Like just get past this tree and then kind of flatten out and push straight really just kind of pick your poison on this hole main thing is though just trying to get out there into the open and give yourself an easy par on this one but the reason I like the back end

Plate is because it basically guarantees that you’re going to get a good amount of distance off the tee as long as you’re hitting your line somewhat even if I do get out there to those trees and hit some of those trees and fall down I’ll still have a better chance of

Getting up and down than if I hit some of these trees off the left but the main thing I’m looking for off this tea is just getting height so that way I know I’m getting over those trees and I’m getting down there into at least like Circle 2ish maybe even outside of circle

To but I’m getting down there to where I can get up down pretty easy ah keep going keep going okay I don’t think they had enough distance to get down there for like inside the circle putt but there’s a chance I could be in circle to but

That’s exactly what I’m looking for on this shot just something that’s going to get over those trees and get me down there to where I’m going to have an easy par come on let’s go all right guys we’re on hole 15 this one’s a par three 195 ft baskets up this

Way off to the right so I’m going to take the chain breaker throw it basically over these trees off to the left just try and get enough height so that way’ll stall just kind of drop off to the right as long as I get it up high

Enough it should be fine a safer play honestly would probably just be like a straight putter on a little bit of anheiser at this pole and let just kind of drift off of it to the right but this hole is so short that really need to play this

One for a birdie cuz pretty much like 90 to 95% of the field are going to be getting this hole so need to go with a little bit more of an aggressive play just to kind of guarantee I get the birdie so see if we can do it

Now ah Dang if I didn’t hit that tree that probably been really good okay so we end up in in an okay spot uh if I would have missed this tree I would have got down there Circle one so in the tournament I’ll just have to remember to aim a little bit farther

Right than I was thinking I needed to but let’s see if we can go and make this putt let’s goo all right guys we’re on hole 16 this one’s a par 3 23 ft you see the basket is Straight Ahead biggest thing to pay attention to is the basket’s like kind

Of surrounded by a hill off to the left so if I throw something at the basket and get to fade off too far left I can end up well outside a circle only other thing is there is a ob line off to the right marked by the property line so I

Don’t know if it’s these flags or the fence or what but I guess we’ll play as the the flags for today but that doesn’t really come into play too often cuz a lot of times really just trying to throw something just straight the basket so unless you yank it over or we’ve got

Some headwind so if I were to like turn something over then the OB line would come into play but often times the hill off to the left comes into play more than anything else but for this one I’m going to go with the overstable throwing putter just trying to throw it just

Touch up to the right of the basket and just if if you ring it up that’d be nice but ultim I’d rather park it ah dang it too high and it’s going to fade out that might still be up there for a putt but I don’t know let’s try a

Straighter throw and putter see if that’ll work a little bit better turn that over a little bit but that’s either going to be pin high or a little long the reason I went with the overstable ones cuz I don’t have to worry about going long with it but with

The uh with the straight Throne putter I can end up going long on this one so we’ll have to see if I’m not too long I might switch up and try the straight throwing putter but we’ll see oh dang almost got three in a row uh let’s see where’s that at okay

That’s the straight thr and putter right there which is probably 15 ft away so we’ll have to see what the wind’s doing cuz we did have like a head left or right on this one so it kind of just slowed both of them down didn’t really turn them over

That much was surprising but we just have to see what the wind’s like in the tournament if we have similar wind I’ll probably step up to a mid-range and so that way I can get a little bit more distance but I’m definitely going to be just sticking with this cuz even in that

Wind I was just outside a circle maybe maybe a little bit inside so definitely not a bad place sck with the overstable thrm putter all right guys we’re on hole 17 this one’s a par three like 370 ft I think just straight ahead it’s very

Tempting to go for this basket cuz it is a little downhill so it does play a little bit closer than like that 370 380 mark But like we’ve got a crosswind right here and it’s not really worth it but what I’m going to try and do is just

Take a overstable distance driver put it out to the right and just try and throw it high enough to where it can stay over these trees cuz as long as it doesn’t drop or something like that it’s not going to get down to these trees

Straight in front of us off to the right and it’ll stay high enough to where it’ll either get up there to where the basket is or it’ll just be off to the left which is perfectly fine because as you can tell there’s only like two to

Three trees I got to worry about on the left side where there’s like 15 to 20 on the right so kind of just like uh was it whole 13 14 just got to make sure I get the height right just let it Coast back to the left

That’s a little bit higher than I meant for it to be but oh just get down yeah just a little too high so it just got carried a little too far left but that should be an okay spot to get up and down from I’ll probably be like around 120

Ft uh let’s try another one nope same thing a little bit better okay that that’s actually something I didn’t think about was going with something a little bit more overstable cuz it’s getting down to the ground faster so I don’t have to worry about it carrying left so let’s

Try that again with a little bit even more of a stable yeah that’s actually super nice cuz it’s just getting down to the ground extremely fast even though the wind is carrying it left it’s not really a play to get up there to the basket at all but

That’s a good thing to keep in mind if we have the same wind I can just take something really overstable pump it out there to the right flat and just let it carry it was funny I got down here and all the discs were like in a perfect

Line spread out like by 30 ft so definitely going with that last one which I think was the pd2 if I if I do have that same wind or a headwind or anything like that I honestly might just throw it if it’s calm but all right see if we can get up and

Down get past it okay that’ll work all right guys we’re on hole 18 final hold the video this one’s a par three 250 ft you can see the basket down there surrounded by the rocks uh sadly on this one you can’t really I can’t really show you what it looks like from

Off the tea cuz you can’t see the basket at all but it’s basically the mirror image of whole 15 with adding like another 50 ft and we’re going downhill so pretty much the best play is just kind of some kind of Heiser some kind of Hiser something overstable just

Trying to get to landsoft in that ring you can see down there winds kind of died down so I shouldn’t really have to worry about it too much but just going to see what we can do H I think that’s short yeah just short uh let’s see what else I can

Do see if I can get a putter there just thr it flat that’s going to be short too little bit not not as bad this time I’m going to try a driver on a little bit Hiser see if I can get it there nope oh okay it’s a little bit

Better seems like the wind’s playing with it now but I can’t really tell what it’s doing yeah I think I think I really like that putter play cuz like I said you want to come into the screen soft but that also that driver play isn’t too

Bad and it’s going to be a little bit more W wind resistance so odds are go with the putter if there’s no wind and then that driver if there’s any wind at all oo almost all right guys that finish up our round out here I got to say I’m insanely

Happy with how I play today to be three under even though I started out like what two over through three is really nice and just shows that my game plan was working and gives me a lot of confidence going into the tournament this weekend but that’s ultim why we do

This to come out here practice our game plans and see how well they work and if they’re working for us or not crazy thing is besides like those two putts I made near the end I didn’t really feel like I did anything crazy I was just playing consistent golf putting throwing

My shots like I wanted to and giv myself opportunities for pars and birdies and just stayed away from bogey so hopefully I’ll be able to do that this weekend and um if you have any recommendations for lines or shots on certain holes please let me know in the comments um I’ll make
