The morning wave at least just kind of take us through how the day went for you yeah I played nice today I wouldn’t say that I uh hit it as as well as I needed to I just scrambled really well I made a couple par putts that uh you know
Six to 10 feet and just made all the birdie putts that you know I probably should have and then kind of a bonus Birdie on 17 um I’m very pleased with the day got some great breaks and uh just going enjoy lunch tidy a few things up on the
Range afterwards and uh get after it tomorrow looking at your season I think three of four made Cuts couple top 30s how are you do you feel like your game has been throughout the season what are you still working on yeah my game has felt has felt great um I’ve been really
Close to I’m not I’m not hitting it poorly I I’m there’s a like I said there’s a couple things I just want to clean up and I’m really close to hitting it you know exceptionally well um with that being said I’m not hitting it poorly either so
Um yeah like I’ve been happy with the start of the year and I like this I like this week I’ve uh you know it’s kind of a grinder course a little bit and I’m I can kind of grind with uh with the best of them so I’m very happy with the start
You say it’s a Grinders course a lot of years 6 s under might be leading going in the final round it seems like it’s going to be a lot lower scores this year how do you kind of adjust your game to that yeah you just the uh conditions
Were really are are softer out there right now um and the wind this is the today was probably the calmest I’ve ever seen it from from the wind standpoint typically it’s you know 10 to 15 gusting to 20 every single day here and I’m sure we’ll see that as the week progresses
But you know I fortunately I was able to take advantage of the conditions today and shoot six under and um you know it it probably will continue to go a little bit lower but uh it it it’ll show its teeth it always does so um typically if
You’re if you’re just kind of hanging around on Sunday you know you can put together something and it can be a special weekend when you wake up you show up to the course and you see that there’s no one to speak of are you just like licking your chops you’re like get
Me out there I want to I want to play absolutely cuz you don’t know how it’s how long it’s going to last and you know you don’t see that very often around here so um the greens were receptive as well so you it was it was let’s go you
