From throwing a 61-yard touchdown  pass, to the infamous Double Doink,   and even the Fail Mary Game, these are some  of the most UNBELIEVABLE plays in NFL History   brought to you by Game Gaze Hub. #14 – Marco Wilson’s play  Starting with Marco Wilson’s play  that got the Arizona Cardinals into

The 2022 NFC Championship Game. It was in the 2022 NFC Divisional   Playoff game between the Arizona  Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints.  Cardinals cornerback Marco Wilson intercepted  two passes from Saints quarterback Andy Dalton   and returned them for touchdowns. However, both times, he had trouble

Securing the ball and had to dive into  the end zone to complete the score.  The first time, he bobbled the ball  as he was running and had to catch it   in mid-air before landing on his feet. The second time, he lost the ball as he

Was leaping over a defender and had to grab  it with one hand before hitting the ground.  Wilson’s two pick-sixes helped  the Cardinals win the game 31-28   and advance to the NFC Championship Game. But the next time something close to this

Happened, Aaron Donald used his hand as a shield. #13 – Aaron Donald’s Play  Yea, Aaron Donald’s block led to a recovered kick  for a team gaining three onside kicks in a season.  This happened in the 2021 regular season game  between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle

Seahawks. The Rams trailed 30-16 with 2:28  left in the game and attempted an onside kick.  That was when Rams defensive tackle,  Aaron Donald, blocked Seahawks tight end,   Will Dissly, who was trying to recover  the kick, and knocked the ball loose.  Eventually, Rams linebacker Micah Kiser  recovered the ball but at the Seahawks’

39-yard line. The Rams, as innocuous  as they look, scored a touchdown on the   next play and cut the deficit to 30-23. However, they failed to recover another   onside kick and lost the game. It was the third  time in the season that the Rams recovered an

Onside kick, the most by any team in 2021. But that was 2021. Wait till you see what   happened two years later with the WF Team. #12 – Unlikely Interception by Marcus Epps  I’m talking about an unlikely interception  by Marcus Epps, who made contact and found

The ball at the same time during the 2023  regular season game between the Philadelphia   Eagles and the Washington Football Team. The Eagles, of course, led 20-16 with 1:44   left in the game and Washington had  the ball at the Eagles’ 30-yard line.  That was when Washington quarterback,  Taylor Heinicke, threw a deep pass to

Wide receiver Terry McLaurin, who was  covered by Eagles safety Marcus Epps.  This would become a memorable moment in NFL  history as Epps collided with McLaurin and   somehow managed to locate and catch the  ball as he was falling to the ground.

The interception sealed the win for the  Eagles and kept them in the playoff hunt.  #11 – San Francisco 49ers But can you really talk about interceptions   or count to 50 without putting 49 in the mix? No way, because the San Francisco 49ers made

It to the championship game due to a  big hit and a penalty on the Cowboys.  It was during the 2024 NFC Divisional Playoff  game between the San Francisco 49ers and the   Dallas Cowboys when the former led 34-31  with 14 seconds left in the game and the

Latter had the ball at their own 41-yard line. Cowboys quarterback, Dak Prescott, ran for 17   yards and slid down at the 49ers’ 42-yard line. However, he did not hand the ball to the referee   and instead gave it to his center, who  placed it down. The referee had to move

The ball back to the spot of the slide,  which caused a delay of game penalty.  The clock ran out before the Cowboys could  snap the ball and the 49ers won the game   and advanced to the NFC Championship Game. But besides that, the game was also marred

By a big hit by 49ers linebacker Fred Warner on  Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who suffered a   concussion and left the game in the third quarter. That was pretty spooky, if you ask me,   but it still made it into the NFL’s most  memorable one in a million plays, just like

This next one with Trent Richardson. #10 – Trent Richardson’s play  You know that moment, when the camera catches  an unsuspecting actor from the wrong angle?  Well, this happened to Trent Richardson  who was caught fumbling and Ndamukong   Suh pushed the ball during a kickoff,  during the 2013 preseason game between

The Detroit Lions and the Cleveland Browns. The Lions led 24-6 in the third quarter and   kicked off to the Browns. Browns running back  Trent Richardson received the kick and ran   for 27 yards before fumbling the ball. Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh,

Who was on the kickoff team, pushed the ball  forward with his foot as he was running past it.  Lions linebacker Tahir Whitehead recovered the  ball at the Browns’ 18-yard line. The Lions   scored a touchdown on the next play and went  on to win the game 40-9. Suh’s push was legal,

But it was seen as another example  of his aggressive and dirty play.  If your shoulders are slumping at the mention of  dirty plays in the NFL, this next play is going   to pad it up I promise. #9 – 61-yard touchdown  This was a stunning play in the 2017  NFC Divisional Playoff game between

The Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints. I mean, with just 10 seconds left in the game and   trailing by one point, Vikings quarterback Case  Keenum threw a 61-yard touchdown pass to wide   receiver Stefon Diggs, who avoided a tackle  and ran into the end zone as time expired.

This saw The Vikings winning the game 29-24  and advancing to the NFC Championship Game.  Yunno, Championship games are where the big  shots are taken, but while prepping for that,   take caution else the Titans knock  you out like we see in this next one.

#8 – The Music City Miracle They call it The Music City Miracle,   a controversial play that happened in the  1999 AFC Wild Card Playoff game between the   Tennessee Titans and the Buffalo Bills. With 16 seconds left in the game and   trailing by one point, the Titans  received a kickoff from the Bills.

Titans tight end Frank Wycheck threw a  lateral pass to wide receiver Kevin Dyson,   who sprinted 75 yards for a touchdown. The Titans eventually won the game 22-16   and went on to reach the Super Bowl. #7 – The Philly Special

And talking about Super Bowls, The Eagles made  a superlative impression in one of those, which   we’ve come to refer to as the Philly Special. This was a trick play that occurred in Super   Bowl LII between the Philadelphia  Eagles and the New England Patriots.

With 38 seconds left in the second  quarter and leading by three points,   the Eagles faced a fourth-and-goal  situation at the Patriots’ one-yard line.  Eagles quarterback Nick Foles lined up as  a receiver and caught a touchdown pass from   tight end Trey Burton, who had received a  handoff from running back Corey Clement.

As you’d rightly guess, The Eagles won the game  41-33 and claimed their first Super Bowl title.  Yeah! I can imagine the applause in the air,  even Tony Montana would give up his Scarface   in that moment, saying: “The world is yours”. Except that he was never real. But what is it

With Montanas and making history? Because this  next Montana made a high catch that’s become one   of NFL’s unforgettable unbelievable plays. #6 – Fingertip catch  With 58 seconds left in the game and trailing by  six points, 49ers quarterback Joe Montana threw

A high pass to the back of the end zone,  where wide receiver Dwight Clark leaped   and made a fingertip catch for a touchdown. This was a legendary play that occurred in   the 1981 NFC Championship Game between the  San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys.

The 49ers won the game 28-27 and went  on to win their first Super Bowl.  It was nothing short of a miracle, and  another time fans would see something   like this happen many years later was in an event  that would come to be known as The Miami Miracle.

#5 – The Miami Miracle This stunning play occurred   in the 2018 regular season game between the  Miami Dolphins and the New England Patriots.  With seven seconds left in the game and trailing  by five points, the Dolphins completed a series

Of three lateral passes that covered 69 yards  and resulted in a touchdown. The Dolphins won   the game 34-33 and stunned the Patriots. It had the Dolphins making the sign of   the cross because it seems Holy Mary  had been praying for them all along.

And this next one will show you why  this has become a ritual in the NFL.  #4 – The Hail Mary Play This was a trailblazing game   that would coin and cement the term,  ‘Hail Mary’ in NFL for generations.  It occurred in the 1975 NFC  Divisional Playoff game between

The Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings. With 24 seconds left in the game and trailing   by four points, Cowboys quarterback Roger  Staubach threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to   wide receiver Drew Pearson, who caught the ball  despite being interfered with by a defender.

The Cowboys won the game 17-14 and  advanced to the NFC Championship Game.  Indeed, it was a divine intervention. But this  next one, just like the former, is nothing short   of an immaculate reception. #3 – Longest play in NFL

This was a thrilling play that occurred in the  2013 regular season game between the Baltimore   Ravens and the Cleveland Browns. With two seconds left in the game   and tied at 27-27, Ravens kicker Justin Tucker  attempted a 64-yard field goal to win the game.

However, his kick was short and Browns safety  Anthony Levine caught it in the end zone.  He then ran for a 108-yard touchdown,  breaking the record for the longest play   in NFL history. The Browns won the  game 33-27 and stunned the Ravens.  #2 – The Fail Mary But what was more stunning

Was the Fail Mary play, a controversial play that  occurred in the 2012 regular season game between   the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers. On the final play of the game, Seahawks   quarterback Russell Wilson threw a Hail Mary pass  into the end zone, where both Seahawks receiver

Golden Tate and Packers defender M.D. Jennings  appeared to catch the ball simultaneously.  The replacement referees ruled it a touchdown  for the Seahawks, giving them a 14-12 win.  But approximately five years later, another game  was going to make another trailblazing name,   known as The Double Doink. #1 – The Double Doink

The game which many later came to  refer to as the Double Doink was a   heartbreaking play that occurred in the 2018  NFC Wild Card Playoffs between the Chicago   Bears and the Philadelphia Eagles. With 10 seconds left in the game and

Trailing by one point, Bears kicker Cody Parkey  attempted a 43-yard field goal to win the game.  But something ‘doinky’, (please, not  donkey) happened. His kick hit the   left upright and then the crossbar,  bouncing back into the field of play.  That’s how the Double Doink tag emerged.  And fortunately, The Eagles won 16-15,

Eliminating the Bears from the playoffs. I bet at least one of these moments caught   you. Would you mind reaching down the comments  section and sharing that moment with us?  And while at it, you can also check  out how well your thumb works with
