Welcome back to another episode of rock boys football Florida State 2024 High scho recruiting class superlatives going down these are one of my favorite episodes to do every single year where you kind of take a look back at the newcomers coming into this Florida State program and assigning some superlatives

Gives me a chance to highlight some guys that maybe aren’t getting talked enough about in that 2024 class that I think could have some massive impacts the five superlatives we got to hand out number one going to the player I think has the most firste impact second superlative

The highest NFL Draft pick from that 2024 class number three the player I think most likely outplays their star rating according to the recruiting Services number four class MVP self-explanatory there and then number five that highrisk high reward prospect that you maybe have some questions about

But a guy that if he puts it all together at the next level is is some player that I think really can be a massive hit for the Florida state seminal really excited to get into this one before we do just want to say thank you guys as always the Florida State

Fans y’all continue to show a ton of support to the boys that stuff means the world to me we’ve followed this class we’ve broken down pretty much every single commitment of this class over the last couple of months now we get to tie

A little bit of a bow on it and take a look at that 2025 class if you guys do enjoy the cont content consider subscribing to the channel appreciate you guys and more importantly would love to hear from you guys in terms of prospects that I might have left out

That are high on your guys boards and without further Ado let’s get into this one and the first one is the player that I think has the highest year One impact and that’s goingon to go to running back Cam Davis and this was a guy that I mean

I feel like kind of just flies under the radar in this 2024 class committed to Florida State just stayed committed to Florida State and didn’t really take any other visits so again not a guy that everyone was talking about during the uh late stretch of the recruiting process

But a running back that I am a massive fan of and when you’re talking about players that have the opportunity to make a year One impact I think you got to look at two different things one are they physically ready to step on a college football field and make an

Impact Cam Davis 510 220 pounds just saw a picture of him during winter workouts at Florida State this dude looks like he’s been in a program for four years grown man a guy that I think physically certainly ready to step on a field and make an impact then you start looking at

That running back ran I mean you brought in royell Williams from Alabama probably going to be the lead back you have a guy like Holmes you have a guy like Tu ailly I think Cam Davis can carve himself out a lot of work in this Florida State

Offense in 2024 and you talk about the player I mean this is one of my favorite running backs in this 2024 class he is absolutely Ely rocked up phenomenal contact balance played mostly quarterback at the high school level and you just saw the innate ability to make

People Miss to go through tackles with the football in his hands and you talk about making that transition to the running back room having played quarterback having operated an offense and you feel pretty good about what he can do in pass protection year one how he can kind of just play his assignments

And again that’s normally the one aspect that prohibits freshman from playing the field if they’re physically ready are they ready between the ears having played quarterback at the high school level you feel pretty good about Cam Davis potentially being ready between the ears and certainly physically to

Carve himself out a role in that running back room for the Florida state seminal this is a guy that I think a fan favorite certainly one of my favorites next superlative goes to the highest NFL draft pick in this one I I went back and forth between a guy like Charles Lester

A guy like Jamari Howard and a guy like Kai Bates I think Patrick ceran did a phenomenal job bringing in that defensive backward you talk about Kai Bates Lester Jamari Howard those were three of the more coveted defensive backs that you saw in the 2024 class

Florida State lands all three so if you want to argue Charles Lester if you want to argue with gu like Jamari Howard I wouldn’t argue with you now for the Florida State fans that have been listening for the last couple of months you guys know what I love in my

Quarterback prospects and that is length and that is athleticism that is ball skills and Kai Bates has all three right 6’2 180 pounds a guy that I I think maybe needs to clean up from a technical standpoint a little bit kind of relied on that athleticism at the high school

Level you have a feeling that’s going to get cleaned up you’ve seen the development from these Florida State defensive backs I don’t know if he’s necessarily a year one guy but you talk about highest ceiling in this class I mean you see the basketball background

And how he is able to High Point the football be physical at the point of attack a guy that has the length has the physicality to put his hands on wide receivers there’s not many things from a physical trait standpoint that Kai base doesn’t have and so when you project

That to the NFL in the next couple of years I think NFL teams are going to be clamoring over this guy because again from a physical standpoint there’s not much that’s not that that’s not there with a guy like Kai Bates I think all three of those guys could be massive

Arguments Charles ler massive fan of him but I went with Kai Bates length athletic and ball skills checks all those boxes give me Kai Bates in three to four years being a top 20 NFL draft pick next goes to the player that I think just outplays their recruiting

Ranking and I’m gonna take a look at a guy in Elijah Moore who I’m not really sure what the recruiting Services don’t see in Elijah Moore obviously Ohio State saw I mean Ohio state was gunning for Elijah Moore in a serious way he ends up coming to Florida State 64 and a half

200 pounds and I think why he’s getting slept on a little bit according to the recruiting services not necessarily that topend gear in terms of vertical speed but you turn on the film and there’s a couple things that just really stand out one the catch radius is there but he knows

How to use that catch radius this is a guy that high points the football phenomenal hands phenomenal body control phenomenal physicality I mean when you talk about a wide receiver that is just physically imposing and going to be a handful for defensive backs to go I think you’re looking at a guy like

Elijah Moore and although he might lack that top end speed which I think is hurting his recruiting ranking the the college football level and the NFL it’s a separation game you can have all the top end speed you want if you cannot vary your speeds and create separation

And run clean routes it doesn’t really matter what your 100 meter dash time is and a guy like Elijah Moore again not going to be a burner but a guy that when you turn on the film can vary his speeds can throttle it down change directions

If extremely smooth for a guy that’s 64 and a half 200 pounds so you talk about yes not top end speed but a separator a guy that can make plays with the football in the air be a real uh kind of a matchup nightmare in the Red Zone in

Terms of some of those jump balls that he can make happen give me Elijah Moore is a guy that I think is getting slept on but somebody that can make a massive impact for this Florida State offense over the next couple years class MVP this one again an obvious one and again

Kind of like Cam Davis Luke Romo commits to Florida State steadily Rises up the recruiting rankings and doesn’t really take any other visits he’s just been locked into Florida State so because of that nobody talks about him Luke cromo the fourth best quarterback in that 2024

Class and when you start digging in to luk croman Oak as a prospect a couple things that you absolutely love stand out one didn’t even play quarterback till his junior year in high school I believe was sitting behind Holden Garner who was an excuse me an Auburn commit uh

In the 2021 class or 2022 class excuse me Luke croman O A guy that played Safety and wide receiver during most of his beginning of his high school career makes the change the quarterback and what you see from Luke cromo and why he wasn’t necessarily the most sought after

Quarterback early on in the process but you fast forward the signing day the fourth best quarterback in this class he’s a gamer this is a guy that a 64 200 plus pounds can extend plays extremely well has phenomenal arms to any throw that you want to make Luke chomo zipping

It into tight areas layering footballs with touch he can make all those throws he can throw on the run I think he is just a football player that plays the quarterback position at a high level you talk about Florida State class MVP looking back in four to five years and

Saying why did Florida State win so many games the last couple years I think the conversation is going to be around Luke croman o and what he did at the quarterback position but also being a leader of this football team when he committed to Florida State he was the

Leader of this class he played a massive role in getting a lot of guys to commit to Florida State give me Luke choman Oak not only being a phenomenal quarterback one for Florida State but being a guy that is a perfect fit in what Mike norell is building in this culture and

You look at the numbers probably should have probably should have uh touched on this a little bit too I mean two years of starting experience threw for over 5200 yards 48 touchdowns to only six interceptions I mean talk about winning football talk about not making mistakes

Luke chomo does that and then you see his ability to extend plays and make those draw dropping plays too the ability to turn nothing into something at the quarterback spot but also play within yourself and not make those game-changing mistakes Luke croman o massive fan of him wins a lot of

Football games for the Florida state seminal last one and probably my favorite superlative to give out is the player that I mean you still have some question marks about but if he puts it together you’re talking about a special player and that’s going to Amari Williams now getting the questions out

Of the way first one early or an reclass guy so this is a guy that was in the 2025 class reclassifies to 2024 plays two ways at the high school level tight end and that on like the AG rusher SL outside linebacker you saw him do a lot

Of different things on the film he would drop back and coverage rush the passer does a lot of different things the question marks are one you project him to be an ed rusher doesn’t have a ton of experience doing so he’s only 2 15 pounds and he’s a reclass guy those are

Some of the question marks you have okay what are the things that really excite me about Amari Williams 64 25 pounds excuse me extremely fluid mover this is a guy that if he fills out that frame gets to 240 pounds you’re talking about a Juiced up ad rusher that is

Extremely athletic he’s fluid he has that burst he has that bend a guy that is going to be a handful for offensive tackles to to deal with in space you take a look at the athletic profile in 11 second 100 meter dash for a guy that

Is 64 215 pounds there are so many athletic traits to fall in love with the Mari Williams and at that Ed rusher position that’s what’s most important do you have the traits to be great do you have the length do you have the burst do you have that athleticism Amari Williams

Certainly has that now you got to get it developed and if it comes together it gets developed for Amari Williams you’re talking about a special add rusher at the college football level that’ll do it for our superlatives on this Florida State team again a lot of names that I

Wish I could include but only five superlatives to give out would love to hear from you guys in the comment section tying a bow on this 2024 class now it’s time to evaluate what you’re hearing in Spring practice in Fall camp and getting ready for that 2024 year and

For us turning our heads to that 2025 class is Mike norel already getting a head start I’m building that 2025 class out appre apprciate you guys rocking with the fellas it’s been a blast covering this 2024 class looking forward to covering this 2025 class appreciate you guys rocking with it if yall love

  1. Love the video my man but that definitely ain’t Elijah Moore on your thumbnail 😂 he definitely is a sleeper though

  2. I've said a few times, I sure would have liked to seen Kam Davis on the team last season when the QBs went down. He can play QB and is a serious dual threat at the position. He is going to be a game changer right away!!

  3. It's really good to see the Seminoles on everyone's radar these days. There was a time when nobody had anything good to say about the NOLES, now people from all over want to cover the Seminoles. I had a good feeling these days would come again, and now those days are here. GO NOLES 🤜🏾🤛🏾
