Darius many congratulations you’re the 2024 magical Kenya open Champion how do you feel right now yeah great great it’s like a dream come true really yeah it’s been a long time coming what does this mean to pick up your first DP worldour title ah a lot you know as a kid You’ be
Dreaming you know here on on the pting green and you say oh this is you know for winning on the Cheng tour this is for winning on the European tour and you know now it’s finally there you know it’s yeah it’s what you always dreamed of talk about compos you looked
Extremely calm the whole week were you as calm as what you looked out there uh I was calm but uh you know once uh the last part was going in I felt the emotions going uh going over I never thought it would it would hit that hard
But it’s uh yeah it it hit me pretty hard you were five under par across the whole 10 with two Eagles and a birdie this week what is it about that hole specifically that works really well for you well you got to hit the Fairway uh
You know if you hit the Fairway it’s a pretty easy hole but if if you miss it it’s um you know you’re blowing a chance for either a birdie or an eagle so um you know hitting the Fairway is key finally let’s relive that final part on
The 18th H what emotions were going through your head at the time oh luckily it was a very short one um you know um I I didn’t know what the score was exactly because they uh you know I asked my caddy like you know is is is it 13 or 14
And he said uh you know 12 was in uh obviously I didn’t know what the group in front of me uh did so uh I thought you know if if they’re you know at 12 or maybe go to 13 if they hold an eagle um
You know it I don’t want to I didn’t want to get Let It Go to to a playoff um but uh you know I made a made a birdie so uh you know 14 was a good score thanks very much and many congratulations Darius many congratulations to the 2024 magical Ken

You were five on the par across the 10th hole this week with two Eagles and a birdie what was the secret how come it work so well for you yeah that’s fill finally let’s relive those final moments on the 18th hole that chip you had and then obviously the winning part what emotions
