Be like a lot of man on the street type stuff and we would go to like a different venue or a different game every single week and interview people and like kind of catch the experience um but we just wouldn’t have been able to maintain that like week to

Week to put out a video every single week so I took this guy we were working at the Four Seasons together we just decided y’ were working at the Four Seasons sure were not this guy somehow some way yeah um so I took Joe out and that’s like that’s the videos that ended

Up hitting people wanted to see golf so we just kind of kept feeding that and it it was literally just just like Serendipity y’all just happen to be what golf official and not like how invested were you in golf at the time when all of this took off Joe had been playing like

Joe had been playing golf golf I wasn’t even really into golf so like during Co is when everybody wanted the golf can so that’s kind of when I started picking it up and and playing a little bit um and then again like as the videos would come

That’s what was hidden so he would take me out a little bit before we even started doing Bob do Sports um and I obviously as you could see it’s not the best golf and thankfully that’s this guy came along but yeah originally wasn’t even going to be Golf and I mean I had

Just picked it up and I started to really enjoy it and I had no choice but to enjoy it once I saw that that’s what people want wanted to say so talk to me about the addition of fat Perez to the duo yeah how did this how did this come

About you know what I mean FP joining the channels you know like they talk about like BC you know that was like the channel before Perez it’ be like BP before Perez it was like we we connected we were running a patreon channel for like uh during Co again there was just

Nothing to do right so we we had a bunch of people who wanted to kind of get after with us and have fun so every Thursday we’d have like a happy hour people could get like come on on a zoom call and join us and connect with us and

Then this guy came out of nowhere one time and I’m like we’d have like 50 60 70 people on at a time and you could like scroll through all the different things it was almost like running a class you could see everybody was like

Kind of joining in so I go in and I see this guy here and I’m looking over and he’s at his work cubicle he’s got like a giant pizza and the name says fat Perez on it and I’m like damn Bob you got a you got to switch over to this guy cuz

He looks like a character so Bob brought it brought him on and was like yo we need to hear from our new addition here fat Perez and then he just started coming on I would say pretty regularly so like we got to know him but we didn’t

Even know he golfed so we went to Pinehurst not long after and he hit me up and he was like yo I’m going to be in Pinehurst around that time like let’s grab a drink or something and that’s kind of like when everything just kind

Of fell in place and we saw how good of a golfer he was we went out there we played number or two with him guy had like 10 beers and shot like two over and it was it was like I looked at Bob and we looked we were like this guy’s got to

Be on the channel and well he he rounds us out cu we’re not good golfers so we still have an element of good golf but then he also fits into like what we do from like a comedic standpoint so it’s a perfect fit it’s like when I was in

College man you know I didn’t have a whole lot of good Fighters around me but it was that one dude I knew could whoop some ass and it’s like because I had him everything else fell into place you know what I mean you kind of like bounc group

Co was uh was a terrible terrible thing but it was very good for the game of golf and very good for very good for myself so what Drew you to these two I mean you you at a were you literally at your work cubicle eating pizza tuning in

To what they had going on yeah yeah yeah so I had a buddy that turned me on to Bob’s kind of Instagram stuff like kind of in the mirror videos yeah and um so I started following him and then once he kind of you remember that uh that Bubba

Watson Chirping video he did not today bub so once once it went from just like funny comedic stuff into golf I was like okay like I’m going to watch this guy and yeah I was just working late one night no one was in the office I had uh

Had a couple beers had a pizza I knew I was staying late and I just saw on on Instagram that they were doing these things and like I could easily just tap to the next story obviously I should be working but I was on my phone I was like

Yeah I’m just going to hop in here if it’s awful I’ll never do it again and uh I had nothing going on the next week and not the week after that either so uh I just kept topping in I mean I couldn’t be I couldn’t be down the road at my own

Happy hour I figured I’d join these boys and it’s a good thing I did so I mean now that you all are together I mean the momentum is outrageous you know I was just at y’all live in Chicago the way that y’all built Community you know how

Y’all got people so engaged one of the most engaged audiences in the game would you would you I’m going just say it for you y’all seem like y’all want to be humble today but what’s what’s the mission now that you have all of the

Eyeballs on you I I I mean I think for us it’s just I sometimes I feel bad not knowing exactly like where we want to be or what the next goal is for us it’s just like if we just keep growing the platform the way that we’re growing it

And grow our audience doors are going to open up and then we just kind of take it from there right now we’re having so much fun that kind of think to ourselves like what really could be better than what we’re doing right now um so like

We’re really kind of just running it let it grow and then kind of just see what comes from there cuz right now it’s hard to think it gets much better I mean we’re having a all yeah I mean it’s a community that uh we’re as surprised to

To I guess see the response to as maybe anyone and we’re like you said we’re having fun and we want everyone that’s on board to have fun and I think The Breezies that you’ve been to the invitationals that we’ve done is a is kind of an arm of that like let’s all

Get together and enjoy ourselves and if we can bring that Breezy Invitational attitude to our videos we can bring it to you know any sort of Hangouts that we do bring it to YouTube that’s that’s our goal I think the thing too is the relatability I mean we’re

Everyday golfers we just have fun you know and a lot of these channels you know these guys are striping the ball and you know making great shots I think people like to watch an element of like guys that they can relate to you know when I shank a wedge or Bob misses a

Putt that we should be makeing you know things like that I think it’s funny we don’t take ourselves too seriously and I think golf should be fun you know I think first and foremost we had fun when we connected with you I think that that’s the kind of the message of our

Channel is that like whether you’re like perz and you’re you know put up unreal scores or you’re just out there with your boys having a good time yeah that’s what it’s all about man you shouldn’t be ashamed for playing trash golf no but I mean I have been you know to

The Breezy Invitational and the Libations were flowing you were having a ball I was having a ball yeah I was having a little bit too much of a ball had a work trip the next day I was not myself the next day when I pulled up to

It I ask y a question what’s the closest that y’all have been to being arrested as a group you know just just hanging around y’all I just know that there’s a lot of dangerous and precarious situations y’all put yourselves into can y’all tell me about a near rest moment

That maybe I could blackmail you with later I’ve been in jail Joe I mean take it away Joe I’ll let you leave the I’ll let you leave the Char he’s gonna go right in he’s gonna go he’s GNA go right best way to Blackmail yourself is

Just to let it fly no I was uh I should have been in the I should have been in the drunk tank um but the drunk tank was full I had I was I was a bit Reckless and um got into scrap with a bouncer which proceeded to kick my ass and um

Yeah and then the the it was like a small town where I was and then the uh the drunk tank was full so they threw my ass in the slammer and yeah that was my one and only experience thankfully of being a a wanted man I guess you could

Say I’ll give it up man first time we got a f Criminal on r got convicted criminal let’s go do us through the roof us through the roof but I mean you y’all y’all like to have fun man it’s no secret but with having fun comes a lot

Of hate you know what I mean y’all balling out y’all living a life that people dreamed of if you would have told me when I was in college that I could aspire to be something like y’all I would have thought you were lying you

Know what I mean and so with all of the success that you having have y’all run into any push back as far as how y’all changing the game um yeah I mean we have like obviously we do things that are kind of out of the realm of go in like

You know the drinking challenge food challenges that we do as well and for us I think that kind of in a way makes us different but there’s also been times like we had a course in Scotland that we had filmed with before and you know we

Had told them that what we were going to do and they ended up seeing the video and I’m sure they weren’t too thrilled we had told them about the video but stuff like that and the members but we try and like try and always respect it

And not go overboard or at least tell different courses what we’re going to do so they’re aware and I don’t think it’s ever anything too crazy um but I’m sure there’s golfers out there that don’t want you out there getting hammered on the golf course eating nine hot dogs and

Nine hot dogs like those type of challenges um but we try and it is yeah so for the most part I mean I think we’re fine with it but there are I’m sure people out there that don’t love it and and I get it but we always

Try and respect it and and do it the right way do y’all feel like y’all have a responsibility to protect the next wave of creators and entertainers that’s coming behind you protect the game from it because I mean I think that what you all are doing very tasteful very fun

Very relatable but people want to take your spot they going to have to try to outdo you right and this are you thinking about the limits that you pushing as far as like hey man if we take it here we know that we’re going to kind of catapult the next person to take

It there are you thinking about that when you guys create content it’s good for for new people to enter the game I mean when we came into the game we really didn’t know what we were doing you know we she had we still don’t yeah we’re just big we’re kind of fraudulent

We make it look like we do but um we had you know we connected with actually Four play POD and they they brought us on and that kind of helped us establish ourselves kind of get our name out there so I think you know now that we’ve been

Blessed enough to have a little bit of success I think that we’re totally open to Bringing new people in if there’s people who want to kind of get themselves into our space and establish themselves like we we’ll do a lot of collaborations and stuff like that I

Think it’s good for the I think it keeps it fresh it keeps it moving you know yeah but do you ever think about the downside of like bringing the the really really wild and Reckless people into the game and how crazy that could really get like are you worried about having that

First moment where it’s like oh man like we pushed them too far I’m not sure if we’re I I don’t know how far past we’re going what’s going on in the world of golf right now at your average public golf course on the weekends I think

We’re shining a light onto that work all week go out with your boys and have a good time um you know I think I I think we’re shining a light on something that maybe the the the Country Club Community maybe doesn’t see at their clubs but is

Is going on down the street at the municipal course right um I think a golf is a game for everybody I I I’ve grown up I I have a huge respect for the history of the game um the great clubs of the game the great players of the

Game but I think it’s um it needs to be a game for everyone just like every sport is doesn’t matter how much money you make doesn’t matter what golf course you’re playing doesn’t matter if you’re you know sober or or the opposite um you should be able to go out and enjoy the

Game and hopefully we can we can show that that was very eloquently said man very eloquently said there’s a lot of substance to them it was it there is FP I got a I got a question for you first of all have you ever met Pat Perez I

Haven’t you have never met him never met him I’ve never spoken with him are do you I mean not in a literal way but do you think that you bigger than Pat Perez right now like from a from a from my icon perspective uh no I don’t think so

I don’t I think more people might know fat Perez and pz at this juncture dog I would agree um you and you’ve never met the man never met have you reached out uh I think early on I did I think I sent him some DMS early on I in the yeah I

Mean he seems like a fun guy I think him and I would have a good time on and off the golf course um but you know it’s not a nickname that I it was a nickname that was given to me well before all this this went down and I I didn’t

Particularly like it at the time as you can imagine um so I you know it was never something I like his game I like his Vibe um but I I wouldn’t say that I personally went out and tried to to be like a play on on on who he is yeah um

But I look forward to uh to the day we link up yeah yeah we going we going we going to do it we can to make that happen let’s make it happen the world wants it that that mean yall going to go to live or something is that what is

The person that I was um I think my parents hid from my existence for years there in the middle um so it’s nice to finally be recognized you know for the uh for the athlete that I [Laughter] am that on some on some real stuff

Though I mean you you all are running a legitimate business I mean this is this is big business that y’all running I mean y’all got you know the on the entertainment side with content I mean it’s apparel it’s events it’s appearances and probably like some license and stuff mixed in there bro

Like did y’all foresee it turning into all it is no I mean that that’s the thing like it don’t get me wrong Roger it it is a blast and we’re having a ball there is a lot of the stuff behind the scenes cuz there really is a lot there

Is a lot of stuff behind the scenes that you do between the apparel and all that obviously we wouldn’t change it for the world um but yeah man I mean we’re just the thing I think that helps we’re a very close-knit group and even with our producers as well we’re all really close

To where it makes everything easier and it makes it more fun to where these trips are more fun and they go by faster it’s just it it’s a blast But to answer your question no I mean we really didn’t see it we just wanted to create good

Content build the brand as big as we can but all the behind the scenes stuff and the business side of it honestly didn’t give that much thought do y’all enjoy it now I mean do y’all call I mean I know that y’all are entertainers y personalities but y’all are like golf

Business Mogul at this juncture like do y’all is that something that y’all Embrace or do you just try to play a small part in the ecosystem we just be ourselves and we have fun and if people like us then that’s great and we just going to keep doing our thing I think as

Soon as we you know if we ever change or or or did something different or start thinking that we’re better than what we are I think that changes the dynamic of our Channel and I think people like us because we’re just a few guys you could

Go and have a beer with and you know go go hit some holes and and and have some fun with and that’s what we’re going to be that’s that’s our identity I think that that’s what makes us good and at the end of the day I I I I don’t think I

Don’t know what do you guys think I I don’t think that’s going to ever change hopefully that’s just us and Y not goingon to put on suits one day and just be like no we’re going to do Robert does got a price right put on a suit

Question all of y’all if I wanted to buy some equity in the Bob Sports Empire what type of valuation am I coming in at throwing these dollars at you know what I mean I mean I’m just saying like if I just you know let’s just say I mean

Let’s let’s just say let’s just say I got you know I got a 100 Grand I want to put in what you know what might that what might that get me just to be you know I think we’d welcome you with open arms grand sounds good I was thinking

Like a 12pack yeah yeah yeah yeah we were about to go low he said 100 Grand sure you’re in yeah we just B our fourth whether we like it or not I’m just saying like I I don’t think that people really understand how big of a opportunity it is to build community

Through this Sport and you know I don’t want to get too you know deep into the financial implications of what it is y’all do but if I had to set a over under at uh at uh you know the the value of the the Empire what y’all think about

Like a like a a 5 million number if you have 5 mil that you want to give us by all means you think you think we you think that is that that’s worth like could I I like to think that we maybe you know hopefully in the next few years

We we we just keep growing and who knows but look at this dancing look at the boy over there yeah I I feel like we need to go do some more research yeah yet so I don’t even know starting to realize maybe we don’t have a handle on this whole

But look I do have to ask y’all though man with with all of the buzz with all of the eyeballs why Callaway you know we here obviously because we have a shared love for the brand you know they got some amazing products just an amazing history trajectory P perspective on the

Sport but what was it about Callaway that Drew you guys in and allowed us to have this moment today I think for us something that was really big is that they were going to let us continue to be us and they didn’t want to change anything about the content we make or

What they were doing and they were really going to let us run free they didn’t mind about our golf games at all which was obviously really huge or your criminal record yeah yeah I don’t think we discussed that to be honest we might have some problems on our hands after

Couple specific moments Joey you in that garage bro that’s so the bouncer is not the bouncer is not the only fight you lost man could you could you talk to me about that you think I just told you to hop for no reason it’s not going to work

Again though it’s the same problem it’ll work watch your head going to hit his head watch your head no no yeah yeah this we were actually that happened you know where that happened that happened here in Palm Springs that happened a year ago we had been collabing with uh good good for the

Week and we’re out here and we were heading out and um let’s just say I wasn’t sober when it happened I was a little uh uh you know anyways I I I don’t deal with the garage thing and I I had never seen that so I the first time

It what you didn’t see is the first time I just walked through and it triggered the sensor so the door started closing yeah so PR like no you got to do like a little bunny hop over you got over the over the sensor under the I saw what you

Were trying to do supposed to do it’s a step and a step right that’s what you do you don’t did you say bunny hop say bunny hop word for word absolutely never said Bunny Hop it was word for word Bunny Hop um I I you know and I think

Under the circumstances then our buddy who was actually filming at the ticket one of our producers he saw me try to do it a second time and it didn’t go good and he’s like something’s going to happen here so he just started rolling and I just thought for some reason

Nothing about me looks fast or agile I just thought if I ran as fast as I could and jumped I I would literally like the door wasn’t going to be anywhere close and um well that wasn’t how it turned out dude I mean it was these guys I

Think Bob watched that video maybe a thousand times that week maybe the next day alone I was in my room we were at an Airbnb he heard me giggling at like 400 in the morning I was like a kid on Christmas I couldn’t wait to post it and

Get it out to the world I was so excited the real question I got to ask though bro did you ever go back for Revenge just to show that you could actually do it dog because I saw what you were trying to do when if we being fair he

Wasn’t that far off he wasn’t he looked like he was trying to dunk Roger yeah I had like the Jordan pose I just it was just man I tell you what dude I I I will I will say the good thing about me is I

Down cuz I didn’t want anyone to think that that was going to be my defining moment you know and that’s probably what got you arrested because if you would have just stayed down down always pop up too quick and that’s what turns into a situation the

The bouncer kept me down let’s put it that way man I didn’t have a chance coming out of that one other viral moments the hole in one which I was in the vicinity for the hole in one dog that’s sick how much of that do you actually

Remember not as much as I should uh was the last swing of the day um I didn’t even see it Go in I think I hit I think I hit a shot and just was like okay like where’s my drink and then everyone started freaking out and I think I just

Started running because everybody was on me I think I was running I think I was running away from people more than I was running to the golf ball you know black people do that a lot to it we see somebody running we just take off we

Can’t help that dog it’s funny in the moment I thought I was going pretty fast um and from the video the video next to me it looks like I’m moving pretty good but there’s an angle back on the T boox it it’s taken a little while for us to

Get down that 130 yards what I’m seeing it’s it looks like it’s in slow motion the two hole inone runs we’ve seen this year on the Callaway side is obviously Steph at the American Century yeah and then we saw yours at you know the Breezy Invitational and those runs are just St

I mean you know you got Stu you know what I mean the the the Gate of a gazelle and then like a little scissor kick thing and something like that two of those knees were higher than the other two yeah and I’m just saying bro that’s the
