Listen to this is what’s funny if you take a practice swing next time you go out and practice if you take a practice swing and you take the club back and you get ready to hit it and take it back in slow motion and you take it up and you

Bring it back down right here and stop at impact put the club down straighten your body up now where’s the hands they’re over your left shoe look at them if you look down at your hands with your right eye your hand is covering your left shoe that’s your starting position

And everybody gets here so this hand now is moving from here to there for no reason at all and this is where you get in trouble

  1. This is exactly right. I forget and start with my hands at the ball and I'm fighting the swing to get back correctly. When I start with my hands ahead it's so much easier.

  2. I hate peoples golfing advice and techniques because everybody’s different and not everything works for everyone. I think it’s more of a scam than the zodiac signs.

  3. That was the best explanation for it I have ever seen. Dude just told me tee it up on your left side heel . The tips that dude gave me at the bar changed my game .

  4. That's not what I was taught, how can it be right, what does he know about golf? 😂😂😂😂 the man is a phenom.

  5. I used to spend hours upon hours hitting balls on the range during the week and then an hour before going to play. My rounds would be super inconsistent. Now i just show up and play without going to the range ever. My ball striking is the best it’s ever been. I barely take a half swing before each shot. My hands do start back when I need to hit an exceptionally high ball to clear a tree or lip in a bunker.

  6. Bobby Jones started in the middle . Different ways of doing it. Both work. Nothing against Trevino.

  7. Super Mex. Only guy I know who got struck by lightening while playing golf and lived to talk about it.This is why he earned the name Super Mex.

  8. a long long time ago, my father was assistant headpro at Stevens Park golfcourse in Oak Cliff and Lee would play occasionally with all the local regular hustlers for whatever they were playing for and I followed them around he asked me to grab his putter and he sank a putt and I'll never forget he asked me if he should chip or putt it?
I said putt it, so he asked me to grab his putter and then he sank the putt, and he turned around and told me "someday, you'll make a great caddy".
    😁

  9. Absolutely LOVE this man to bits. Lee Trevino is certainly one of the greatest golfers there’s ever been!
    He’s unquestionably,
No 1 most charismatic person in golf!

  10. Lee won a tournament playing with some other dude's club set. He's not to be considered lightly…

  11. I was taught the higher the club 9 iron(high) 3 iron(low) the closer to center your hands. 1 wood over foot… wedge, punter center part.
