I I’ve seen the trend now I’ve seen the trend for years what’s the trend the trend is always making excuses get doc we get it taking over a team in the middle of the season is hard but it’s always an excuse It’s always throwing your team under the bus there’s never
Accountability with that guy um I mean first off I don’t feel responsible to take off for my dad he’s a grown man he could do his own thing uh but in this regard I just simply don’t agree with it not accountable he seems to always be held responsible considering he’s a guy
That’s always fired when things don’t go right he got fired in the bubble uh for a 3-1 lead versus the Denver Nuggets which in half his team didn’t want to be there they had players saying that their mind wasn’t there he had guys leave that happened then he gets fired for losing
To a team that was favored over him it’s just a strange coming from JJ what are we doing here your best years in the NBA were when you played for him in the Clippers I don’t know if there’s like frustration there or there’s tension there between you I know a lot of times
We had to sit you towards the end of the game it’s just very ironic and kind of weird that you have this energy towards him in terms of him never ever being accountable considering he’s always been responsible

Both are correct lol
Top G 😅
He gets fired and somehow always ends up with a better job. How is he accountable for his failure?
All I can say is that both played for Duke🤷🏽♂️ Both coddled men. Both with the entitled attitude. Which is unfortunate because they were coached by a great man at Duke.
A son is supposed to defend his father. Even if it’s wrong.
jj Crazy
Has he checked to see if he’s a long lost Tate brother?
Two Dukies nothing to see here
This man looks like starving Andrew Tate
yo daddy dont love you though austin
I want JJ to respond to Austin. We all want that smoke. 😂
Yeah Austin but you probably wouldn't have played in the NBA if your daddy wasnt doc. JJ has some good years especially in Philadelphia
🤔 They both right. But Doc has had a lot of talent and not a lot to show for it.
Actually Reddick put up his best numbers with Philly.
Some context to this:
Doc came out and publically admitted that he never personally believed that the CP3, Blake Griffin, DJ, JJ, JCrossover lob city Clipper team could ever win anything.
He admitted it years later but said it in a way like "Those guys never had it in em"
JJ was obviously upset about this cuz that not only deflects all of the blame away from you as the coach but it also retroactively destroys every thing you said as a coach to those players because now we know you never meant any of it cuz you never actually believed in any of us.
And guess what, Doc has done this multiple times. Every time he has been asked about his past failures he throws the players under the bus but when he is asked about those players' performances in real time while he is coaching the team he will revert to responses like, "Y'all don't know anything about basketball"
Here comes Austin Rivers…
..oh wait, actually, these are pretty solid points.
His best years were on Philly without Doc tho
I actually don't disagree with what JJ is saying about Doc but I wonder where is that same energy when players like Lebron throw their teammates under the bus by saying thing like "we just suck right now"? Or what about when Ben Simmons chocked and quit from the 76ers? Did you hold him accountable? Or what about Ja and all of his antics last year? Did you hold him accountable? If anything, you say things like "let's celebrate Lebron's greatness." or "let's celebrate Simmons greatness cause his shooting will develop" or "why are we bringing the hammer down on a 23 year old who didn't break the law". Where's the same energy in holding those players accountable that you have with Doc Rivers?
Gotta agree with Austin on this one
Austin was part of the problem with the Clippers. He was basically out of the league before his father rescued him, played him way too many minutes, pissed off the rest of team.
Chris Paul finally had enough and left. Fact.
Andrew Tate with hair😂
Sounds like somebody I know, never takes accountability and throws his teammates under the bus,
I agree with Austin
I mean he kinda gotta back up his dad. Can’t be out there calling your dad out. Not a good look and that would be an awkward family dinner 😂
JJ redick is just at the bottom of the new media barrel as far as I’m concerned. He talks about accountability but he gives Ben Simmons softball questions and never holds any current nba players accountable for anything. Accountability!?? Man please!
Both are right to an extent. Docs teams often come up short but JJ was definitely a part of some of those teams and didn't exactly change the narrative in the NBA
Being held responsible and taking accountability are two different things 😂
That’s my daddy wah wah
These clowns. I just wanna watch basketball
Angriest Man ever
Dudes making excuses for his dad
JJ is so annoying bro
I hate the Nuggest but Amen. Reddick talking crazy ignorant
JJ looks a bit crazy on this one.
Andrew Tate immediately started finding excuses for his dad’s shortcomings
Responsible == accountable
Molly Q: Stephen A can't down blacks right now
Shannon S: JJ Redick is close enough
Being responsible for something doesn't mean you took accountability for that The💯 And I know he's your dad but You're a Clown
Austin rivers wanna talk about his career being saved by doc rivers 😭😭😭
Jj best years would have happen on any team with prime cp3
Except Docs excuse for the Clippers losing was the locker room didnt get along? JJ interviewed Blake and Jamal after Docs comments. Even when the Warriors were overwhelming underdogs and yall get beat? He's notorious for letting players play out and never adjust late game. Losing to the Nuggets was unacceptable up 3-1. They adjusted and you do nothing
Austin completely missed the point and then followed it up with a personal attack that was just straight up wrong. I get he’s your dad, but you don’t need to jump on the train of easily proven false personal attacks that make you look like an idiot, pat bev is doin that enough for everyone.
The problem with Doc is he is stuck in the wrong era of basketball. His coaching habits are those of the early 2000's, when you played starters 95% of the game and the bench barely gets minutes. I think we've all seen with the 2011 Mav, 2012-13 Heat, 14 Spurs, Golden state and the Cavs, in the modern NBA your bench is what makes or breaks you in the playoffs. JJ Barea, Mike Miller, Shane Battier, Patty Mills, Manu, Shaun Livingston, Iggy, are just a few examples. The Lakers in 2020 had a different starting line up in every single series, that;s modern coaching, and Doc has never done that ever. His coaching style is simply outdated.
JJ was right no lie
Bruh he said we "WE HAD TO SIT YOU"
Not my dad sat u but we? Austin Rivers is hated by half the NBA he supposedly acts like he's a beast on the floor heard about alot of NBA players behind scenes wanna smack Austin Rivers
Nobody likes him is the talk
Most blown 3-1 leads of all time. I don’t wanna hear who wanted to be there or not. They seemed like they wanted to be there when they were up 3-1 😂 that his dad so I’ll let Austin slide I would take up for my dad too. Doc doesn’t need to be a coach. How did he get the reputation of being a good coach
Tate speech
