This video discusses the perfect golf swing and how to understand hot to get the perfect backswing.
This video discusses everything about the golf swing, from the perfect set up and address position, the perfect golf stance and posture, the perfect takeaway, the perfect backswing, the perfect downswing, the perfect impact and the perfect throughswing.
The importance of this video is not only the discussion about different types of movements in the golf swing but the importance of matching the golf swing up.
The golf ball only cares about the clubface and the clubfaces angle of approach into the back of the golf ball.
This videos ensures that you dont get carried away worrying about too many things in your golf swing but understand the importance of what really matters.
The main focus on this video is on lateral movements in the golf swing and rotational movements in the golf swing. Getting a blend of these movements will offer you the perfect golf swing.
See to be honest the perfect golf swing doesn’t exist but getting your golf swing repeatable and consistent has so much importance in your golf swing that you really need.
The main focus on this video is the importance of balance of the set up position and not concerning about the grip apart from holding the golf club in the fingers.
Your spine angle is important as this is key to rotation and this is highlighted in the video.
Then I discuss the backswing position and the importance of weight transfer in the right heel but the difference between a flat backswing and a higher backswing position.
Then I discuss the difference in the lower body rotation of the two golf swings. The lateral swing would create more of a dropping movement of the arms with a lateral hip bump as starting the dowswing to allow the arms to drop into place. The rotation swing will encourage the arms to be more disconnected but be creating a more powerful swing to the golf ball further.
I move my attention onto the clubface and discuss the difference in the release pattern between the two swings with the rotational swing needing more flexion and supination earlier in the downswing whilst the lateral swing would be more of a rolling release as the clubface will be moving slower and therefore can be timed later in the golf swing closer to impact.
This would then mean both impact positions are different but explained along the way.
The release of the golfswing and the finish position will be identical.
To conclude the importance of the golf swing is to find something repeatable and a perfect golf swing does not exist.
This video should help however understand things to look for in the golf swing and understand the difference between lateral and rotational movements.
