What an awesome women’s clothing line upstart. And you are going to talk to us today about the fashion area and the PGA show. You probably saw some pretty cool stuff huh? I did. I saw some amazing brands, one that really stood out to me today was Anew golf.
I think that was one of the biggest ones outside of my own. Obviously, we are kind of an up and coming brand, but Anew as a Korean brand that’s starting to kind of emerge into the golf space. Wow cool Anew, okay. Anew. What else stood out? Some of the golf bags
I saw Omni X golf, they’re a little bit smaller, but they are in San Diego and in Korea as well. They have some transparent bags and really like iridescent fun bags. So you can get into the club with that golf bag. Exactly. You’re definitely going to stand out for sure.
I don’t think anyone else is going to have it. That’s awesome. Greyson had an amazing booth as well. Greyson Okay. Greyson. They have some amazing men and women’s products, and I just really enjoyed kind of seeing their display. What was their style? They have some really cool patterns
And some kind of darker tones to them. And then I also saw, I mean, Surf and Turf. They weren’t they didn’t have a booth, but I saw them walking around a little bit there. They’re the best. Yeah. I mean, this this is like their classic trucker hat,
But they’ve got some cool new styles. Yeah. Some rope hats and some other things that you’ve got to check out. Yeah. They’ve taken care of us for a lot of years and we try to take care of them. So definitely Surf and Turf
Golf is an awesome brand in the golf community. Also Foray golf. Yeah. Foray did a beautiful display. They had flowers everywhere and it kind of felt like a garden party when you walked in. We got to see you wearing your brand Lera Sam, to talk about your brand.
So Lera Sam was founded by myself and Lera, so that’s where we kind of got the name. Everything’s made in the US and our whole thing is about empowering women so we can wear on and off the course that are a little bit tighter.
You’ve got a lot of details too, Yeah. Places to hold your tees. I mean that’s a really nice touch. Yeah. To put that in there. And I, like you say, it’s very sharp looking and fitting. Thank you. Thank you. I mean, listen, my mom is 62.
She’s going to kick me for saying this on TV, but she rocks it. She rocks it, that’s awesome. And all of her friends do. Well, Sam, thank you so much for joining us today. I’m sure you had a blast here at the PGA show and the demo day as well.
Absolutely. I had so much fun. Thank you so much for having me on the show. And I’m looking forward to seeing all the fun and exciting things for 2024. I am joined by my good friend Jeff Landie. Jeff is a avid golfer. How many times you play?
About three times a week. Three times a week. That a kid. He lives in San Diego. We work together a lot out there and you’ve been all around the game, so you must have had a blast. I had a great time. There’s so much to see here.
What stood out for you, pal? Well, the biggest thing in the few years that I haven’t been here that really has exploded has been all of the simulators. So throw a rock and you hit a simulator here. There’s probably 20 brands. Wow. Skytrak had a really nice booth,
Really well set up for people’s homes, and everyone is incorporating technology and AI into their booth and into their into their simulator so you can get feedback about your swing speed and launch angle while you’re playing your favorite courses all over the world in your in your living room.
It’s just fantastic. I mean, it was crazy. Did you see what Chris Johnson was talking about, the Foresight integration with the Puttview, which is nuts. That’s crazy. That was the very unique because after you hit your shot, then the ball
Was actually putt on the floor to a real cup. That’s crazy. And they could they could superimpose the line and then they could turn it off so you could see what the line looks like. And that was really cool. I hadn’t seen that in any other simulation.
What else stood out for you here? I mean, it’s got to be fun for you. When’s the last time you were at this show? It’s been the better part of ten years since I’ve been here. So it’s changed a bit. So it’s changed a lot. A lot more.
Focus on fitness I saw and a lot of people incorporating A.I. and interactivity with coaches and online portals to check your fitness. Oh wow, Did you see one that… One of them was Axius. Okay. And they had a really interesting concept
Where you were working out on a on a ball on the ground. What I really liked about that is then using your AI device, the trainer could watch you and give you feedback later and say, you know, keep your back straighter or work more on your core or whatever
And then upload those notes and so you could improve without even going to the gym, just from your living room. They actually give you the device. It’s a subscription model in which you have a private coach that works with you and they’re a golf company, so they’re giving you golf
