Many consider him the worst player in the NBA, and a clear case of Nepotism, but how bad is Giannis’ Older Brother Actually?

Is he the worst player in the NBA? Or the Worst Player in NBA history?
Find out….

Only a few NBA players experienced a continuous decline in performance over the years and still managed to stay in the NBA but considering it is the Premier basketball league of the world it makes sense that being said there is one clear outlier in this trend an NBA player who has decreased output almost

Every year but has still been lingering on the bench for many years and that player goes by the nasis antenna Koo many see this as a clear case of nepotism due to his brother being such an important player for the Milwaukee Bucks which may be true and we can all

Agree that thanasis is far from a good NBA player but how bad is he actually welcome to sports FIA let’s get into it that man right there got the best job security in the history of civilization right there who’s that he’s not a bad

Player I know I didn’t say he was a bad player but I’m saying they they not job security they got for job security that boy going to always have a job long as his brother’s the man as you may be aware all the antenna Copo brothers were born in Athens to

Nigerian parents thanasis is the oldest of the five brothers born in July 1992 much like the rest of his brothers he began playing basketball at youth camps in his home country Greece however back home he was not given the same opportunities in basketball as you might see from kids

Growing up in the USA in Greece basketball is not the most popular sport so opportunities to play basketball were certainly limited growing up with soak being the most popular sport in Greece that being said one thing was certainly on his side and that would be his insane genetics which all the antenna Koo

Brothers had while not as tall as his younger brother yanis the naris is still 6’7 tall with a solid build so a career playing professional basketball was probably always on the cards the naris began his basketball Journey quite late when he was just 16 years old where he

Played for junior teams in Athens he played semi-professionally with the same club for a couple of years before finally getting his chance at professional basketball age 20 the NIS joined the men’s team after his brother yanis had the pair looked like they’ll be together on draft night as well with

The naris originally declaring for the 2013 NBA draft and this was a slightly surprising move with the naris as he averaged just 12.2 points 4.9 rebound downs and one assist per game this was the same season that his younger brother Yannis was also outperforming him in the

End the NCIS decided to build his stock in Greece for one more season while yanis was drafted in the first round of the 2013 NBA draft by the Bucks as for thanasis he was later selected in the 2013 NBA development league draft so thanasis got a chance to impress NBA

Teams a solid season with the Delaware 87ers landed the naris in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft selected by the New York Knicks as a late second round pick the NASA got a big opportunity to impress in the summer league however expectations wouldn’t live up to reality and thanasis had a

Poor overall performance as a result his next two seasons saw him remain in the D-League after playing just two games and scoring six points in those two games the narcis looked like he was done in the NBA while younger brother Yannis was becoming an NBA Superstar the narcis was

Out of the NBA and it looked as though he would have to rebuild his career in Europe after a single season in Andora the naris returned to Greece this time with a different team it seemed like a great move for the naris as the team is

Not only one of the biggest sides in Greece but also an instant competitor of the Euro league the naris joined a team that was already massively successful and they continued their winning streak with successive Greek titles in 2018 and 2019 19 in that time the narcis was

Named the most spectacular player of the Greek League at the end of the second successful campaign there were some slightly surprising rumors regarding a return to the NBA for thanasis while it was clear that he was not getting a huge amount of interest from a variety of teams the milwauke buck certainly made

It clear they wanted to add another antenna Koo brother to their roster theosis was signed to a 2-year deal with a buck to partner with his brother Yannis unlike his time in New York it was clear from early on that the naris would be a part of the rotation for the

Bucks and never seen as a starter the naris became a 10-minute per night contributor his minutes went down considerably in the playoffs but that didn’t have a huge impact on Milwaukee in fact the naris won a ring with the Bucks in 2021 and featured in 13 of their playoff games that season despite

These being garbage minutes the buck still decided to keep the narcis and he signed another 2-year extension despite his regular season minutes going down in the last couple of Seasons the buck still gave the naris another contract in 2023 so it might seem like the naris must be doing something right for all

These opportunities right so how bad is the naris actually if you look at the teams he has played for and the accolades he’s accumulated it might seem like the naris antenna Kubo is getting a bit too much hate the older antenna Koo brother is an NBA champion two-time

Greek League champion and was also on the D-League all defensive team team he is featured in almost 200 games in the NBA coming off the bench in 95% of those games but when you take a look further into his stats then it looks a bit worse for Theus as there is no statistical

Category where the nasus really stands out across his entire NBA career his average just 2.6 points per game while barely able to put up an assist every other game he gathers in around 1.7 rebounds while not shooting really efficiently for a guy his size and stature much like his younger brother

The yanis Theus is a pretty poor three-point shooter averaging just 15% from Beyond The Ark considering Theus has won a couple of aades for his impressive defensive performances in the D-League those performances didn’t really translate to the big leagues the nasis averages just 0.3 steals per game

And 0.2 blocks per game across his entire career in fact his career higher in blocks in a single game is just two which is around the numbers of an average NBA player so it seems like thanasis is not a great NBA player teams would usually give players who barely

Contribute to a team oneyear contracts and not player friendly 2-year deals the narcis is barely playing an on court role for the buck he has more turnovers per game than Steals and blocks combined at 31 years old this is probably the best naris will ever be he isn’t very

Versatile and doesn’t have any key outstanding attributes however saying he’s the worst player in the NBA might be a stretch too far he is still a pretty phenomenal talent but there’s no doubt that this case of nepotism has been very frustrating to NBA fans considering some of the low lights for

The narus the narus may not be a good NBA player but I think his support for his younger brother yanis has been his main contributing factor for Milwaukee the two brothers seem like they have a unbreakable Bond and just bringing in the narcis has likely lifted the morale

Of jannis by a lot and these statistics cannot be seen on the stat sheet the naris antina Copo is not the worst player in NBA history however there have been very few awful NBA players who’ve gotten as many opportunities as a 31-year-old after failing to even be

Good enough for the D- League the Naros was able to rebuild his basketball career in Greece but the truth is a couple of Greek League titles are not enough to validate another chance at the NBA and after two seasons where he barely featured for the bucks it would

Have made sense for Milwaukee to move on from him right NBA bench has Chang around a lot and it was clear that the nasis was not good enough for the league but he was given another 2-year contract the same thing happened in 2023 with the NASA getting another extension by

Milwaukee in the latest offseason there were some rumors that the Knicks wanted to bring him back but the Bucks held on to the nasus overall there is absolutely no doubt that the narus anono would still be playing in Europe if his brother was not a multiple time MVP the fact that

The n is getting these opportunities with the Bucks is no surprise Yannis clearly had some influence on the team when it came to signing his brother as well as keeping a hold of him the worst player in the NBA might be a little too far but the NASA Ana Koo might be the

Luckiest player in the league that’s it for the video do you think that the NASA s Koo is the worst player in the NBA why not put your thoughts in the comments below and while you’re down there hit that like And subscribe button thanks for watching sports VI we’ll see you next time

  1. He only got in because of the brother his not a good nba player , my 15 year old brother would beat him easily

  2. Remember that Giannis wanted to retire after winning his first mvp and he even brought that up to the front office. So… having his big bro around for emotional support may be a good investment, plus is not like they are brraking the bank for him.

  3. Though he's mediocre, his average stats are meaningless. He plays zero to few minutes per game. He averages 2.3 points. It means nothing

  4. He may not be as good as his MVP caliber brother but when I saw the movie "Rise" I also saw how beautiful his family is. And yes, we normal humans can't do what he does in the court too. 🙄

  5. He's not that bad… He was a key role player for Panathinaikos Athens and played better than several NBA players that have come and gone on that team. He also is a fixture on the Greek national team and has played well for them. Anybody that has played organized basketball knows how tough it is to be one of the last guys on the bench. You come into the game stiff and cold and have to prove yourself in a few minutes of garbage time play. I think Thanasis has made a sacrifice staying with the Bucks. He could have evolved into a solid role player on a Euroleague team, a defensive stopper and high energy player off the bench, eventually making more money and not catching all the heat and hate he does playing in his brother's shadow . Undersized tweeners like him generally don't do well in the NBA unless they can shoot the lights out, but he could do well in Europe. He gets hated on for getting so hyped on the bench.. Hats off to him for not caring if he looks cool or not and cheering on his teammates.

  6. Yall sound so stupid. For one, Thanansis was a star in Greece. So he can play ball. Second, he barely get any playtime, so he's not getting time to polish his game. Practice isnt the same. Now, think about how many players with his same bench position aren't playing either. Nobody say jack squat about them. Its only because its Giannis' brother. And yes, he is here because of Giannis…so what? Giannis is worth 10 bench players. So if the Bucks keep his brother to make him happy, how is that not a deal? Its trendy to hate on Thanasis. Also to hate Giannis, the Bucks, AND the city of Milwaukee. Too bad they could care less. Bucks
got another chip coming in the next few years.

  7. dude, there is no "bad" in the top leagues. even the lowest ranks are top atlethes. they dont mix some old footage with scrub comments. do some research, and look out for spormanship college students and mlb, nba or nfl draft. maybe u get the clue. i doubt it but miracles can happen.

  8. He is definitely the worst player in the NBA,but the Bucks see value in him and prevented the Nicks from buying him, everything else is B.S.❤

  9. The only reason he is in the league is cause of his brother. Thats it. There would be a 0% chance without that. That being said I don't have any issue with this.

  10. This Man is Trash he should be in the D league Giannis holding back the salary cap with him being there they can let him Go and open so much more opportunities yeah they got dame but it aint working and most likely wont work they need to clear space for the future let that man go he not NBA READY

  11. Im greek let me tell you Thanasis was signed to panathinaikos who got the most greek league titles and 6 euroleague titles

Problem is during the time thanasis was there, they had the worst roster ever with a small budget and still coudnt get more than 8-10 min a game.
So he was cleaning the bench in Greece until his brother turned into MVP
Even in greece he averaged 3-4 points😂😂😂😂

  12. I know thanesis don’t contribute much to the team but take him off the team & watch how how hard the bucks team fall

  13. You see this video was uploaded a month ago and the clips in here are like months months old and to this day Thanasis is still trash.

  14. He is decent for European teams, but 4sure he is not NBA level. I think he can play some role in some😊 teams in Europe.

  15. Giannis seems so happy when Thanasis makes a big play. He could be happier seeing his brother earning his money in Europe or somewhere else.

  16. 8:01
    Just say it bro.
If he is not good enough for NBA and still in the league because of his brother THEN he can be considered the worst in the league.

  17. Yall can make fun of Thanasis all y’all want but if you was in the same position Giannis is you wouldn’t do the same for your brother????

Y’all act like nepotism doesn’t exist in Day to Day life. If I had pull like that with any organization/company I would do the same thing. This is nothing new. Shout out to Giannis for looking out for his brother💪🏾💵💰💰💰💰

  18. He's better then plenty of nba players that are getting more playing time and more exposure. I don't see the negative focus on him at all. Thinasis sparks the team from the bench and plays hard, I don't get it.

  19. People talking smack like they could beat a 6'7 athletic dude in basketball. Yes, he average 3PPG at best but can you really score 2 points in the NBA?
