Recommended all that good stuff if you haven’t watched that certainly please feel free to watch that but today we’re talking about the fears that people have of owning a white golf bag and really want to kind of explain um what life is like owning a golf bag a white golf bag
I should say um as well as how do I care for a white golf bag so with that said um this is the vessel players 4 in just a standard edition not the pro version uh and this is just their white this is not the pebble white um material so
You’ll be able to see and if you can see there are some a little bit of wear and tear um around the edges and stuff I have not cleaned this bag and I can’t tell you how long months uh this is I’m recording this in January uh so it’s
Been a long time since I’ve cleaned this bag probably I mean back in maybe September August and I had did not clean it for our fall playoffs for golf or any of that stuff so let’s talk about the fear of owning a white golf back um if you
Have a white fabric golf bag um and you are a sloppy individual you don’t take care of your stuff yeah your bag will probably look yellow or brown within 6 months or a year when you enter the other high-end golf bags you know the vessels the ghosts um the G4S and the
Like of the higher in golf bags um we just did one for rev cor uh that’s a navy blue one um those materials you should have zero fear um of owning a white golf bag you know fabric I’m looking at a white fabric one in the other room here
Um I would say there’s a couple things to do um and we can kind of get into that as well but I just want to kind of talk about what do I do that’s differently to help keep this bag in great shape year after year after year
Now obviously this is a year old I’ve used this 40 rounds plus um it travels with me it goes everywhere with me um and I also have a black one and also a ghost black bag that I showed in the last video those are the three that I
Alternate and use the most so we’re talking about today just this but let me grab some other things and I’ll show you how we care for both vinyl and fabric uh white bags so first up let’s talk about protection um and not that kind of protection but protection for these type
Of bags now with vessel I would not use these because of the material but if you’re buying a vinyl less bag a fabric or a soft weave or an open weave as I would call it golf bag I would get one of two products um not sponsored I wish
These guys send me stuff God knows I go through the stuff like crazy um this is tagos that you guys have seen before high-tech this is phenomenal for for really all your outdoor stuff from shoes to golf stuff and everything in between phenomenal product not cheap I think I
Picked these up locally it’s like 14 bucks a can if you buy a white golf bag that is not a vinyl this is a great product the other old standal one of these get a can of Scotch Guard um and spray that thing liberally and I would do three coats and spray it
In your garage or outside if you can you don’t want to kill yourself over this stuff but spray this as much as you can um about 8 in 8 to 12 in away um you know with constant motion with your hand not at one spot um and you should be
Good to go the other thing I highly suggest for any golf bag these days especially these kind of guys um is one of these and this is just a card strap let me grab the other one here and I’ll show you guys what the newer vessels version looks like so this is vessel’s
Newer verion I actually ordered this for myself um during Black Friday and yes I order stuff from vessel this is not I’m not one of those guys who has my hand out and looks so what’s great about vessels obviously it has the same material same vinyl uh the inside has a
Little tool here to clip onto your bag they just done V’s so good at what they do um inside of soft material the other thing which I absolutely love with these guys let me I want to say I’ll back up when you use a car trap like this
Sometimes it’s hard to get it it’s hard to get it in um in this and this seems to shrink so what oh boy so what vessel has done is they’ve actually opened this up so you can literally unzip this um slide it through and then zip it closed um and Away you
Go ghost also makes one uh I’ve used as well um my favorite of all of them again as vessels and not just it’s a vessel bag or have a vessel hat on I just think when they make a product um they may not always be the first to Market with
Products um but it’s almost like apple um where they’re probably one of if not the best but love um a cart shrap uh to kind of keep it from being worn out in here and not just this part but the handle as well so
Now let’s get into so how do I keep this bag clean and how do I handle it so so I have a few products that I like to use and if you watch my video from last year you’ll understand one is a lexol product um good old soap and water is fine too
And this is a good soap that I use um I also use this little Dober brush you can pick these up anywhere if you have a cobbler go to your cobbler don’t go to Amazon um pick up the stuff at your cobbler give them some business you know
Small business is what makes this country so great um go get a Dober one of these and I actually pour directly on here you can also put this uh concentrate in a spray bottle and spray the bag and then really wipe this down let it sit for Suds up for I don’t know
30 seconds or so and then just take a microfiber towel and wipe it off um and you’d be surprised and how easy it is you spend 3 4 minutes once a month to keep this bag incred rible shape the other thing I do um and I I won’t be
Long with this is this is just another product and again I’m buying all this stuff for my cobbler uh this is a lexol leather conditioner what I do is and I’ll show you why we’re here um I put a little bit on here like you’ll see and the leather Parts which is the
Handle um the top cuff or the top handle here and even the cuff in here I really let kind of it saturate and I also to be honest with you you can use this on anything plastic so I’ll wrap this and put this stuff pretty much on everything
Um I don’t like it on the vinyl so much it gets a little too glossy wait 30 seconds a minute and get that same microfiber towel and wipe it down really in all those areas and you’ll be shocked on how easy it is to maintain a white golf bag um like I said
For some reason I I know white really has kind of become super popular and in Vogue with golf bags and for I’ve become the guy now um that I love the white bag versus the black I think because everybody uses black um and I’ve done
Some me grab them here I use some very fun head covers and you’ll see driver head cover from ASA clubs beautiful three-wood or four for me it’s a four-wood head cover um from dormy golf I have a vessel hybrid head cover and then I also occasionally use this um which is
Another one by dormy and the same process can be done for all these head covers as well so if you’re nervous about getting a white bag don’t I think you just learned the last few minutes how easy it is to take care of a white bag um again I haven’t cleaned this one
I will fully clean it later um but it’s it’s super super easy so if you’re on the fence and you want a white bag you long as you take care of it you’ll be in good shape and if you get something like a vessel or a ghost or any other brands
