Yeah it’s always a pleasure for me to get to take a look at colum Mor cow’s golf swing it’s one of if not my favorite swing in the game of golf he’s notorious for having sort of a slow takeaway but we’re going to slow this
Down a little bit more so that we can highlight exactly his move in transition that allows him to be one of if not the very best iron player in the world this is how he separates himself and I just want to highlight in particular the arm structure right elbow left elbow so in
Transition this right elbow is going to get closer to the left elbow it’s going to close that Gap these two are going to get together the result is is that that’s then going to cause that shaft to lay down so we just take a look at this
As we toggle back and forth between the back swing and the down you see that right there you see how the right elbow closed the Gap got left you see how the shaft lays down he bows the left wrist so you know obviously he doesn’t have to
Have a lot of excessive uh Club face rotation but really it’s just this beautiful move now there’s something else I want to highlight we’ll go back to the top I want to highlight just how he uses is core okay rib cage core upper body lower body they almost compress
Together so it’s that move that’s very athletic move and he’s using sort of his core to to lower so that he gets into the ground we’ll get to that in a minute but also so that he can use it to sort of rotate extend and Elevate so just
Take a look at his core as we move into transition we’ll go down into the down swing you see that that’s just beautiful movement right there right that’s just beautiful movement his left side of his body is moving up and moving away so he’s planing out he’s using his core and
Then he’s really going to this is almost analogous to being in your car and hitting the gas pedal you want to hit the gas pedal you want to speed things up this got him on plane but what he wants to do now is hit the gas pedal
Right he wants to increase the speed and to do that you need to you need to it’s sort of like this marching move right you’re moving your heels and this heel right here is going to come off the ground I’ll try to do that one more time
This heel is is going to come off the ground so he’s putting pressure into the ball of the foot right he’s putting pressure into the ball of the foot that allows him to put to to elevate and rotate and move back so moving up and back is is adding speed it’s like owning
Centrifugal force all of that force is getting generated right here it’s moving up through his body and the net result is this thing is going to move faster so let’s keep moving all the way into impact and I’m going to keep that Circle there so you can see just like right
There that’s him putting the gas on right just in the fast lane just getting after it right there now the net result of that is is that because he used all that pressure to to elevate rotate and extend you see how well he’s cleared right here he’s planed out beautifully
All right and now then I tell you the Elegance of this golf swing just keeps on delivering from start to finish so we’ll take him all the way to the finish right now and this is one of the reasons why I just love this golf swing I mean
There’s so many of them but that right there that looks like Then and holding that’s what that looks like that’s that finish to me absolutely gorgeous I try to do it every time I go out and practice it just never works but I’m trying beautiful move for more content like this subscribe to our Golf Channel YouTube page below and don’t

Yes, a beautiful swing and the Hogan finish is something that I hadn't noticed previously. Thanks for the analysis.
Why is the music so damn loud
Chamblee has absolutly no clue what he is talking about
Looks like early hip extension to me
