H say he did it pretty well especially when you’ve got a green like the 10th here at Riviera how about that kick in for birdie from matama to get to minus three oh boy that was a suspicious angle of descent and it [Applause] was that was a fantastic bunker shot fromy
Mo great up and down for Hideki matama [Applause] it’s hard to tell with him sometimes you never know exactly where that Ball’s going to go but oh goes into the bunker to 18 matama set in the Fairway he’s posing so must be on target sometimes you can’t tell by the
Reaction that one you could to 18 Hideki we saw the approach this to get it to two yeah that’s how you play 18 and of course he made a Miss at the start of that tough stretch trying to turn this from right to left a little bit with this
Three-wood that will also find the roughy over on the other side right rough you’re staying here for a little bit get really steep work from outside to in and cut it but you just never get that contact on it out of the rough especially the wet rough with the you
Can hear the thud the ball hitting the putting surface to the first where Dei miti and and all of a sudden we’re going to look at each other’s F and it’s going to be September 1st and it’s going to be over that’s what’s going to happen Say
It Ain’t So I know it Hideki flips one in from off the green at the second he birded the opening hole as well so the first yeah plays 4.2 so effectively it’s it’s not even a Stern test for a part four but then you turn around and the
Second actually the scoring average as high as a high four is that something Dei that one was very low dicey for hii at least you’re pitching back into the hill which helps still looking it’s been over or close to a year since last time matama had a top
10 yeah we know how much he loves basketball too so probably loves that training Dei rolls in his par effort to remain at minus four no all right Dei minus three currently six back he changed his career path pretty quickly I believe to Nick dun I’ll check that Jason day now at 10
Under par so he continues to push the lead farther and farther out they love the challenge cuz if you’re not so precise Craig this thing can grab you in a hurry and that was well done by Matti Arma too no way he could have gone at
The flag stick that’s as close as he could have gotten that shot excellent he talked about the struggles he hasn’t had a top 10 since the players last year he’s fallen to 55th in the world no injuries have sort of set him back but uh 11 years been out here eight
Wins last game a couple of years ago with that magnificent three-wood in the playoff at the Sony but you still fell for it earlier today 100% I did I do too good solid swing there nice little soft cut which is only 48 yds to twoim matuyama has a pot coming across the
Green birdie and there’s a three as it drips over the front edge at the second that’s six now one of the signature par threes here at Riviera Central bunker smack bang in the middle of the green hold location a little Bowl here Frank what about there
Trer oh yeah it’s going to come in from all sides maybe a one at six today that’s theama oh it’s a two there not won for two years oh yeah oh yeah I would say that’s going left but it’s AI so I’m going to wait wait and
See all right that’s inside the tree line that should be okay yeah that just shot out of there on him might roll back a little bit come on he’s got this aim barely going to tap it to get it off that Fringe I hit that a little harder than I
Thought he did oh look at this oh oh my what a putt boy that had a real good chance well done good play just played a little too much break Putter’s actually been pretty good for hii this week stroke looks good yeah 8 of 11 from the 4 to 8T
Range good looking pass here and it’s going to dig its way forward oh it hopped right in the middle of that putt you see that it just hopped and took that much speed off of it that was the only difference Fair Way gets more narrow every year it seems It’s like a ribbon
Down there yeah is Right more in the middle came out flat hot up the right hand side trying to chase it up there well it’s nearly on the green but flag today is in the other side could to be interesting that would have been good [Applause] yesterday
Yeah there you go jaring it from off the [Applause] Green So Adam had one make the exact same pot Mets follows that in got real interesting in the last couple of minutes three in a row for hii you’ve got eight players now at Double figures and certainly in the mix made a statement that he is on the move to see
If he can get in contention oh that one was just a half cup to the right and the tap in at seven it’s matama for birdie talking about a hot start yeah looking for his fourth of the day oh and he birdied the first three holes today
Yeah good shot he is so brilliant at those shots right there from about 40 yards speaking of 10i matama got off to a great start first three Halls really trying to spin this pitch in here one more H would help that was well played a 10 that’s
Arm oh that’s the new portion of the green great three he doesn’t putting that ball in the green from over there that’s true to 11 oh is it online fromi almost to three what a wonderful pitch po second shot [Applause] here’s matama on the floor at the 12th he’s going up and over a little Ridge right there now making its way down got a chance he’s 5 under for the day make it six under oh what an unexpected birdie by matama at the [Applause] 12 could also be Maxi Arma time it’s
Like dog leg left needs to get lucky through the eucalyptus trees hit a couple but I think it’s far enough away from that uh 13 Mark Helman has caught up with the decky elas durable has to Fashion something low that’s low oh and it’s good Mark
Just to get it on the front edge is still fine that was tremendous from back there trying to make two big bombs in a row good lag started the day off with three straight birdies started this nine off with three state straight birdies Bo at 12 and now power these are
The two tough car fours here’s one of those leaders at 14 195 today Trevor mentioned it back left hole location if you can just draw it in there kicks left that six iron absolutely cutting a hole in this chilly Breeze that’s in right now finchy good
Shot good safe shot too to the right side just trying to bring it down the slope about 30 ft for another birdie gave it the 360 analysis yeah we were out there earlier we Mark and that put is very slick yeah I think he fell in love with the line and
Misread the speed keep it going this to save straight back up the hill banged it in putting well as the Master’s champ avoid the Fairway bunker down the rights and that is right down Santa Monica Boulevard Jun yeah challenging it perfect very easy to bail out lift
T-shot at 15 went in from the left the eight time winner and Master’s Champion who’s traveled millions of miles around the globe finds himself just inches away from an eagle and just the tap in over at 15 Jim one of the shots of the day if not the
Shots mat ayama into a tie for the lead Again it’s cutting oh gets the bounce two hes in a row so close to a car as well not just for him Frank and he did not know where the ball was for that lip of the bunker that was pitched up he does now what a
Stretchi mat armor with a one shot lead eight under today oh he has nailed it straight up the middle you called it about 3 hours ago Frank that 1600 be the winning score but you know what with that drive it might get the 17 right here he has the distance strength get it
Into the middle of the [Applause] green he’s nailed no problems there from m a little long good solid shot better there than the right bunker Trevor absolutely just flushing the ball 172 ball speed there uphill with a three-wood really really good come on now come on now come on
Now this part 18 you got to like his chances oh yeah for sure definite look at that nice little bounce see matama three times today he’s had three birdies in a row he goes nine under power on his round and he leads Now by two shots and Z Tes has a
Long par out at 15 18’s the hardest hole on the course nothing wrong with that couple more straight bounces just to hang in there hold on please thank you no problem just a gentle breeze over his right shoulder nine IR in Hand was a good hop but will settle a good 40 ft [Applause] away [Applause] to tie the course record it’s got a [Applause] chance if you’re going to die it it’s probably just outside the edge if you want to go firmer you got to start it on the edge oh
Yeah matama with a round of Riviera that will long be remembered inacurate Firestone he shots 61 on that day to come from behind and win the Bridgestone Invitational and there they are that wonderful pair matama and hayya Fuji 62 is the number today it’s only been topped one time

Could anyone please please explain to me why the Video quality absolutely sucks on PGA TOUR youtube???
“Every shot”
immediately shows his second shot on the 10th hole

For the record: CBS didn't start really televising Hideki on the final round, until he got to the 12th green…they just showed a couple of putts before that. It was a shame of a telecast. They almost resisted following the hottest golfer on the course, and instead followed almost every other leader as if one of them HAD to be the eventual winner. Thumbs down to them for this.
Great golf to Matsu and his caddie…wonderful team! Glad he won!
The sound of the club hitting the ball that these pros produce is crazy.
The title should mirror what's in the video and the description: Every TELEVISED shot…
69, 68, 68, 62??? How is that possible? So incredible.
literally not every shot. hate clickbaity titles. shame @PGA TOUR
すごい又ぶいしてください

The definition of EVERY has been changed, just like the definition of VACCINE. 😂😂😂
Congrts man
I guessed the PGA doesn't understand the meaning of "Every shot".
試合後の会見、やばい表情リプレイされとるで。悪代官の顔や。
大谷さんまでとは言わけんけど、やっぱ色々、諸々、考えた方がええで
After watching his play and overwhelmed, this old lady went to play par3 course and got 5 birdies on the front 9, 4 in a row! I was feeling Hideki yesterday 😂😂😂❤ I hope you win the Masters this year! Great work🎉🎉🎉
What I don't understand is that Matsuyama has been playing in the PGA fpr at least 2-3 years and hasnt made any effort at all to learn how to speak english. If I was playing on the Japanese tour I would become fluent. Another earlier player was Angel Cabrera. Not a word of english. Not very impressed with Matsuyama's lack of effort.
Nobody is talking about how insane this is. He had to force recovery shots on almost every hole. They were decisive and perfectly executed.
