Really for the first time ever and um they’re going to be playing the Myrtle Beach Classic in May okay fantastic that’s great well what the um the Myrtle Beach uh tourism board and travel Myrtle Beach and these guys the sponsors at the Myrtle Beach Classic have come up with a

Brilliant idea phenomenal idea and what they’re going to do is have what they call the Queue at Myrtle Beach coming up um like March 4th all right and they are they’ve invited um a number of content creators YouTubers not me but they’ve invited some that are really good players to

Have an they will compete in an 18-hole shootout and the winner will be given the sponsors exemption into the Myrtle Beach Classic in May how exciting how exciting is that now this is phenomenal for a number of reasons one it just one brings a ton of publicity excitement to

The event pre-event and it’s it it gets tons of free publicity because all these content creators will be allowed to post and promote their content via their Channel their journey into this via their channel so that’s phenomenal and they’re going to also do um the que

At Myrtle Beach the Myrtle Beach uh team is going to do a 90minut like documentary of this um event trans folding unfolding transpiring whatever so let’s look at who’s in this because it’s pretty exciting and uh I think it’s I mean it’s great because this is phenomenal for for the world of YouTube

Golf because it’s giving it’s just saying like look this is great stuff with what you’re doing and we want to include you in the PGA Tour and these events we want to you know Unite with you so I’m I’m just excited for the World of Golf let’s look who’s in this

All right so 16 players are going to compete 18 hole shootout we’ll go through these players we got Matt Atkins he’s a USC alumni played on the corn faery tour phenomenal player okay so great we know we know that and he finished tied 38 at the RSM classic last

Year on the PJ tour so the dude’s a stick he’s going to be one of the contenders here and then we got George Bryant and we know George and Wesley Bryant but Wesley is a tour pro tour winner so he he’s not like really qu he do qualify for this particular event

He’s got too much um of a pedigree let’s say but he so George is totally in he is uh going to be one of also the contenders played his first PGA Tour event last year so good luck George Bryant we got Jay card III he you might

Not know who he is but he’s a um 39 starts on the corn fairy tour and um he uh top 10 at the Witchita open finished seventh in 2023 so another stick he is a high Contender on this as well Morgan uh den den de Denon whatever sorry if I

Mispronounced the name but um he is a um assistant Pro there at the Dunes Club where this event will take take place so he’s the assistant Pro there he gets in but he’s also had three PGA Tour starts and uh most recently in the 2023 uh fortnet Championship so dud the stick

Anyways again going to be be Contender and home field advantage to Morgan there you kidding me you’re the assistant Pro there and it’s at your course and you’ve played on a number some tour events so good luck to you that’s phenomenal all right now we get into some of the more

Let’s say well-known well George Bryan’s wellknown but um content creators YouTubers we got Peter Finch coming out of the UK coming in strong and he’s coming over he’s going to give it a run he’s done his quest for the um the open where he’s tried to qualify for the the

British the Open Championship so good luck to Peter Finch we got Grant Horvat arguably the best swinging golf YouTuber out there dude’s got just a buttery swing played Collegian Golf and you you know his accolades guy can play so he’s played some uh pro events on the on some

Local Florida tours mini tours so good luck Grant Luke Quan out of the University of Oklahoma good good member stick and a half that guy can play so watch out he can bomb the ball he will be if he puts it together he can he could be up there on the leaderboard so

We’ll see how Luke does Micah Morris the long bomber and dude’s just ripped cons sended so can he put it together though and keep it in play and make the putts to do it good luck Micah you’re in it now we got Turk Pettit dude is was the 2021

NCAA Champion out of Clemson and he played on the inaugural season of the Liv tour so I saw him at the guy can play you right he’s not just some obviously he’s a division one NCAA Champion so enough said there guy can play he’ll be a contender been in a ton

Of great events we got Dan Rapaport you know him Fourplay barcal sport Sports and he’s kind of he’s he’s one of the better golf media guys in terms of golf like and he did really really well I think his team finished second at the desert open there you know part three

Course but nonetheless guy can play he’s a really good player and then we got Scott Stevens Collegiate player um University South Carolina alumni one Victory and three top 10s on PGA tour Canada so in 2022 he made 21 corn fairy Stars s uh so or he he made 20 he won corn fair

Starts 2023 so good job Scott’s going to be a contender for sure got Nick stuie AKA fat Perez he is Mr consistent down the middle put it on the green get his he’ll make a ton of pars he’ll make a couple birdies few birdies out there

We’ll see if he gets hot you never know he’s a great player Tyler watts is a high school sophomore from Huntsville Alabama he just won the Jones cup Invitational in December 2023 so just recently watch out for Tyler I’m telling you like keep an eye out for that kid

Because he just might take home the uh the dub on this qualifier the Q and Myrtle Beach so Tyler Watts these high school kids they just go come come out gunslinging forget it so I’ll be interested to see how Tyler does we got jimie Wilson former all SEC College

Golfer at from South Carolina and he made two starts on the corn faery tour so good luck and then here’s what’s interesting we got the Buster Jack guys Mason and Cole the two of them what they’re going to do only one of them gets to play in this

Thing so the two of them have to play in a playoff and the winner gets in oh those poor guy just let them both I don’t know why you don’t let them both in I’m fine let them both in all right I mean come on you want the two guys you

Want the Buster Jack guys in the event you want both of them not one of them get them both in who cares 16 17 guys qu 18 guys 20 it doesn’t matter get them both in there I mean come on come on Myrtle Beach the Queue at Myrtle Beach I

Say we vote U Mason and Cole in both of them get in they don’t have to play off for one spot give me a break and then what they’re going to do is on February 19th is have a a spot for a local PGA professional there at Myrtle Beach so

There’s going to be like a local qualifier and one of the local Pros is going to get in the queue at Myrtle Beach and they will have an opportunity to qualify for the PGA this is phenomenal this whole thing is other than you got to make Mason and Cole do a

Playoff for one of them poor guys poor guys and so now look it’s obvious how they picked a lot of these guys like the content creators guys that have a a big YouTube channel and are you know they’re a good player so phenomenal and I wish

Let’s promote our city they do a ton of promotions I’ve been out there I’ve done some work with um you know visit Myrtle Beach and played some of the courses it they really do a lot to bring a lot of people in and promote golf in that area
