Tiger Woods headlines the Genesis International this week, along with other top golfers like Patrick Cantlay, Rory Mcllroy, Jordan Speith, Jason Day and Rickie Fowler. The tournament is being played at the beautiful Riviera Country Club in California. The Genesis is held in conjunction with the Tiger Woods foundation and is played yearly. This tournament has a $20,000,000 dollar purse.

Fifth place zotor H or Hunan Conor Pon and then what’s that name sson all right uh and if we come down here I think it’s going to it will give us the cut line right here so at the end of the day you have to have at least a right
Now right now is uh one over and you can get in one over you get in uh and you get to play in uh the weekend the weekend to get a chance to get a chance to get paid ladies and gentlemen that’s how golf
Works it is a 20 is a $20 million purse but everybody that is invited Invitational everybody that is playing right now is not going to get a chance to to get a part of that that that get a part of that that purse so right now I’ve counted about 60

Over uh withdrawn because of illness not because he was in pain but uh he just wasn’t feeling good right after that drive he hit on seven that went into the Fairway but uh you know you got to be feeling bad you know Tigers got to be feeling
Bad to to uh leave on hole number seven of the front nine after hitting a very nice drive right at the right up the in the middle of the Fairway not even finishing not even finishing whole seven and with a purse of seven excuse me a purse of 20 million Tiger

Just I know I had to start playing something other than basketball CU I was getting old I wanted to play something other than basketball CU I was getting old and um oh I know what it was a gentleman moved a new teacher came to the school who was a Avid B uh Avid
Golf player and he had and he we started talking one day and I said I wanted to go play I wouldn’t mind going and learning the game and playing and all that he said yo that’s what I do you know just let me know and
So I told him I didn’t want to just go on the golf course and not and have never swung a club before so he let me some of his club and I went to a a driving range uh a few times like a a few weeks I
Went and then start hitting the ball of course sliced it I’m a right-hander sliced it to the right every single time and try my best to figure it out and I never had a never had a lesson in my life got okay with it but not great you
Know but at at least I wasn’t a a newbie swinging when I got out there and then one of my students took me one my students who had graduated high school took me golfing one day and that was it that was it took me golfing one day
And I build up courage enough to uh my my wife bought me some Club some clubs for my for my birthday that year my birthday is April is April 1st so that’s when I got the club like right the a perfect time to to be out there
And start you know actually going and playing and um after I got that and build up the courage enough to go out to a golf course by myself you know and get on the course and start playing hooked Cam Davis seems to be coming apart right
Now glad you started was a game of a of of a lifetime yeah and golf fever is is definitely real cuz after I played and I’m a I’m an outdoors type of guy anyway and so you’re out there in all that nature those perfect greens just about just about every golf
Course you going to play on has like a water ha a water hazard or whatever or natural you know stream running through it just just beautiful out there and man and and my first first time playing I actually hit some straight off the drive that did it that did it they
Couldn’t keep me they couldn’t keep me off the golf course uh Garrett couldn’t keep me off the golf course even and before I learn the golf course I go to right now are mble before I learned that all you had to do was pay one time a day
And you can play all day like our golf course and they keep it Immaculate you pay $10 you can walk all day you can you can stop for lunch or whatever go eat come back and and keep playing if you want to play 36 you can play as long as you want
To I would I would go play in the mornings and I’m talking after I after school was done in the summertime you know like like late June early July when at 2:00 it’s D on 90 80 90° outside nobody on on the golf course but coach
Gary out there baking but I was so focused I didn’t even worry about the the the Sun as long as I you know for here here and there you go you get to a certain hole there be trees get a little bit of shade I I just loved it so much I
Would go in the mornings and play I would come home and cut my grass or whatever and then I would go back in the evening and pay again until the guys got used to seeing me there all the time it’s like hey hey you already paid you
You only got to paid one time and they didn’t and and they shouldn’t have told me that cuz I was really out there then but uh yeah I had I had I had a good twoyear run where I live breathe all I did was go all I did was
