Looks like about 1997 or eight so they’re pretty old so here we go they’re all first edition and they’re all Team Rocket and you’ll see you for those of you guys that don’t know the R means Team Rocket and the little one that’s the first edition card so we got to digle

Them what are they doing now now a lot well first of all they only had like a couple different kinds of refractors back then now they got a million kinds of refractors and most of them are numbered way over 250 so we got uh so they they’re match producing we got an

UD choice this is unusual card it’s Anthony Hardaway from $98.99 it’s a preview card I think that was from a pack they sent to the store with a bunch of guys in it just to show you what the set was going to look like it’s got preview written right on the top

There oh we got a nice Kobe these were nice the Fleer Authentics it’s just a base but it’s kobby Bryant oh these were really nice too the s SPX Kobe Bryant that’s from uh looks like 99 2000 I believe these were the the gouty cards I think this is a it’s a Clyde

Drexler mini but it’s Nate archal says and on the back it has a thing from Nate Nate archal we got a little picture sh them in the corner too got a great of the game Clyde Drexler I always like those great of the game sets they were

Background in back of them if you press your finger on the card other stuff would come up but I tried it don’t work no more the heat activation I guess after 30 years wore out it says right on the if you look where it says fun card in the corner it

Says heat activated but it didn’t do nothing I’ll see if you look actually you look in the black here you can sort of see stuff but and if you heat if you press down your fingers on it you would you know remember my fingers ain’t he

Table all right so we’re going to our our card shop story which today’s going to be a little bit on eBay edate so I bought buy a little few things on eBay I don’t buy a lot on eBay I like to buy in person U so if some customer says

To me uh you know I could really use this card and I don’t have it on hand like oh red remember red I told about him in the stories he wanted a Dante divencenzo because he’s now with the Knicks he likes to collect Nick a people

On the Nicks autographs so I said I could find he’s not a computer guy red so I said I could find it for you so I found one I quival was a decent price I think it was like 15 20 bucks and I bought it he told me anything under 20

Bucks just grab it I says all right so you know and I I don’t buy much on here and I I don’t really barter which is there’s nothing wrong with bartering you know but there’s a way to do it and uh something just happened to me a couple

Days ago that rubbed me the wrong way and I’m I have a lot of do I have a lot to do on eBay so this is almost a once a week occurrence so it’s not like it’s an unusual thing thing uh so Luke puts the stuff on and I have over 15,000 items

Just on eBay so I don’t know exactly what we put on when and not not most of the time CU we could put up uh a lot tomorrow or yesterday and had to put the same lot up a year ago or close to the same lot and it might be that we didn’t

Sell it yet and somebody’s referring to something I don’t know whether it went on two days ago or or a month ago you know so anyway this guy contacts me and this is just one instance of I think what not to do if you’re on eBay because

You you get the seller a little bit mad and you’re not going to get a deal you know it’s a matter of a principle you know so uh this was a 1997 98 metal Universe basketball lot decent Stars I think Sean Kent might have been the best

Card but these cards are you know it depends on the condition and these were in pretty good condition a lot of those cars even the minor Stars people grade them and they make a nice profit off of them but I don’t care I found a three row shoe box half of it

Was probably 97 or not maybe not just that one year but a few years in the metal Universe B basketball so I have plenty so I said let me put a few Lots out try to make a few bucks on them make people happy you know so I looked and

Most of those cards there’s guys uh they do that collect your set thing and uh you’ve seen that on there collect your set pick your cards and they have a bunch of the cards from the set for sale you go on the site and you pick out the

Numbers and you tell the guy and they’re different prices and I think he had for that set 9 9 cents to 9.99 a card you know so the cheapest card you can get is like a dollar and that’s probably for a real nobody so I put up the nine card

Lot for $9.95 plus shipping because I ship stuff and it cost me money and what I charge shipping is sometimes I lose money on it I don’t make any money on shipping you know between the actual shipping the envelope and all that you know the packing all that kind of stuff so

There’s no money to be made on shipping not not for me anyway so in fact I probably lose a few cents so $9.95 plus shipping nine Card Lot metal Universe some nice stars like Sean Kemp you know who was pretty good back in the day

So we put that on I didn’t I don’t know whether we put that on a week week before or a year before because we have multiple metal Universe Lots online so uh I get a message and the message simply simply States I’ll I’ll give you $4 for that lot all

Right well just a little hint it’s there’s nothing wrong with bargaining but $4 on that lot is like almost like an insult you know the guy would have said to me oh that’s a real nice lot or something buttered me up a little bit and said I’ll give you $8 say I probably

Would have gave it to him you know so I wrote back a nice note you know I always like to write the note back I don’t want to ignore people I wrote back no no thank you I says uh you I really put that up to sell it’s a pretty good price

And I really want to get the $9.95 for it you know so he wrote me back I’ll do you a favor and give you $6 so he’s doing me a favor I guess right but it just rubbed me the wrong way the way he worded it I don’t know it just

Rubbed me the wrong way so and of course this is like uh late at night probably 11:30 12:00 and I’m actually I was actually in bed doing my messages right so I wrote back nice I says nah I says you know I really got to stick to my price you know

It’s a pretty good price but thank you very much you know that kind of stuff so then he finally writes back now I mean I don’t really get paid paid but my time is worth something right so by the third email he’s almost eating up

What he wants to pay me in time so so he writes back because I wrote this down so I don’t forget this has been on a long time take my $6 or you’ll eat it let’s just give me a break you know thank God I’m not desperate you know and

I I don’t have to take any $4 somebody offers me trying to steal my cards but so I didn’t know how long I’ve been on I looked it was on for two two days he’s telling me this has been on a long time so it was on for two whole

Days so that one I think I ignored because that was kind of like an insulting you know I didn’t actually ignore it though because I said to myself I’m not going to respond to him this time this is the third time and he’s kind of insulting so but I said I

Don’t want him as a customer so I blocked him and the reason I blocked him he was kind of insulting number one number two if say he decided to buy it now I put it in near Min condition was probably a mint but I put it in

Nearing condition a guy like that if he’s going to be a pain like that he buy if he happens to buy it he’s going to go over that with a microscope and any little thing he’s going to say oh you need to get give me

A discount b b b or something like that you know or you know even worse so I said you know something I blocked him and I don’t block too many people but I say I can see this guy might be trouble so I blocked them so and you’re going to

Laugh three or four hours later the lot sold for the full price to somebody else cuz it was it was a good deal you know it was a good deal I got to put more on when we get a chance I think we got think we have more in the pipe to

Put on so uh yeah it’s it’s the motto of this story is it’s okay to bargain and people if you approach them in a nice way they want to give you a deal sometimes I want to give people a deal you know but you can’t give your way

Stuff away for nothing and then when they start insulting you I mean give me a break so that’s soon as you start insulting people usually that’s the end of that for me I don’t know I don’t know about you guys but to me it was kind of

I’m going to eat it give me a break you know so uh anyway that’s my card shop story today if you’re nicer what do they call uh I forget to say it now cuz I can’t remember nothing honey gets the the bees or whatever I don’t know so if you’re

Nice sometimes you get a break you know and if you offer a decent price right off the bat sometimes you’ll get it not offering the guy less than half of what he’s got it listed for you know when he’s got it listed for a reasonable price you know

But anyway we’re going to go to go on a box break so we H the 2022 absolute football Russell Wilson’s right on the front so we’ll see what do we got got a chance to get in here besides the Kabooms say here uh I tell you much there

Well they got six packs 11 cards per pack says look look for the ultra rare Kaboom cars and explosive inserts unwrap three green parallels per box on average and that’s about all we’re I guess sort of looking for guaranteed oh I look for autograph from M be cards

From the hottest players in the NHL so this is funny I think that was the same the last the new box we opened had green parallels too an explosive in Kaboom maybe so they don’t do much for research and development but they’re lucky I’m looking for those Kabooms so we don’t

Have our Panini cutter cuz I think that’s still in the other room yeah it’s in the other room still CU we had our kitchen table but we got a vbc cutter I don’t know if these guys are still around vet based cards Yep they’re on uh Facebook and it looks like
