Good evening I must say and it’s day two of the Puna Club premier league and we’re all ready for the toss for the first game we have along with us G of G joining us with both the captains of the team Jaguar to call Eagles win the toss and choose to ball first

Correct so joining long of course is the captain of helos Eagles PES of course you’ll come back after loss yesterday uh what have you all you gone back to the drawing board reink strategies uh yeah I feel like uh we could have done better on the field uh with some of the

Decisions we made made as well uh could have attacked more with our bowling lineup we have a good bowling side so I feel like that’s what we’re going to look to do today and play to us play to our strengths yeah right so any particular changes in your team coming

For this game no we’re going to go with the same side cool best wishes for your game uh I’d like to come to you come back with the victory a good kind Victory about here you know you’re going up with the same momentum yeah so uh we’re sticking to our plans uh we’re

Sticking to the same team and uh I believe in my team so um whatever happens at the toss we really um you know don’t want to take it to our heads and just play to win that’s it play to win that’s a very good conviction now of

Course we’ve seen teams choosing to bowl first a lot more often you know and they they you know I mean we’ve seen change results as well you think the toss is so effective in this game like this uh well when it comes to a game of cricket you

Know um any over can change uh uh the match um could either go here and there but I believe uh like me as a captain I believe believe in my team so irrespective the toss whether it goes in my favor or not uh you know the uh my

Skyward and the enthusiasm is I mean just doubles and manifolds year after year not just the team owners the players but even the spectators and the organizers and every year they try to add a feather in the crown they add various facets they up the ante and the

Scale of the event in this year is the 10th year and it has come at magnificent scale so I mean there must be very few Social Clubs in Pune or in India who must be so passionately involved and putting up a fiesta that is so elaborate and so

Engaging you know 10 Seas knowing the fact that India is is loves and reads and eats Cricket out here you know this is one platform of course we saw the day day one of action we’ve seen a mix of I mean we’ve seen relations like Father yeah perspec BR families

Together you prior to this tournament started I think what I’ve gathered from all the members talking a club was always uh the impression had come U you know a youth started getting a lot of hangout places coffee shops coming up pubs coming up uh Sports ground foot

Grounds and things like that you know so a lot of coffee joints hangout joints started coming up and mostly clubs it was middle age onwards to retired people the younger generation was not much coming um to the club is that was the feedback was but once the sports event

Started happening the younger generation started realizing that everything that they need is available in the club all the sports Avenues they want the entertainment Avenues they want the socializing avenues that they want so it kind of energized and brought this club to life you know all the aspects of the

Social club this club has a swimming pool it has a golf club um it has everything that one needs for I mean it is like a membership of a festar hotel probably the oldest uh festar Hotel so that is how this whole thing has evolved and today you see um generation

Generations are playing together and down the line you’ll always see that you know so now kids are getting their young parents and they will grow gr up and their fathers will grow old and they will be playing there very soon you’ll probably see a grandfather and a grandson playing there are Twins playing

There people from all professions uh so uh I mean the spread is amazing and the composition is something which is totally might blowing certainly for sure of course we we’re going to see a lot screen we’ll get back to the first day of action you know the first game

Itself the defending Champion taking on I mean the last two finalist the game was incredible no for sure the typhoons taking on the all stars in the end couple All Star winning which is three runs will tell you so much about what this tournament has to

Offer I don’t know how the draws were planned was this made to be or it was made to happen the first match of this year is a repeat of the last year’s final so is was that an opportunity for the losing finalist to get back with the

Vengeance I don’t know but that’s what the losing finalist did capila perar All Stars lost to gmn PK typhoons last year in the finals and per are all star as we know out of the 10 editions they have won six times wow so they almost call it

Their proprietary right to win this so probably it must for the year long so they said let’s set the books right let’s settle the score and let’s start with a thumping win over the defending Champions and get our Spirits high and send a message to the rest of the

Opposition and then it was a convincing Victory you know right I mean the pretty sure they all guns blazing as well so of course you know the first game we did see that the teams are coming out to like we did see in the Toss today as

Well you know they want to come out and Bowl first what do you think is that is the sence behind that well I guess we see it in most of the international matches as well if the premises is new now this uh league is starting a fresh

Yesterday so I guess the first uh psychology of a captain is that he doesn’t know what his ideal Target right you know the Wicket is new everything is new though they play year after year on this uh Wicket but for this the Wicket is prepared every now and then fresh

Isn’t it so the captain doesn’t know what is ideal Target so he waits for the opposition to set a target for him right and he prefers to chase so that I mean he has an ideal script which is written for him to follow that was the reason

And that is how we saw yesterday it kept on happening generally most of the captains who won the toss chose to bowl first and most of them lost five teams which batted first yesterday one all the teams that batted second lost uh last match script was overturned and team

That chased uh um one it one correct so primary reason uncertainty so let’s wait for the others to set the tone and then right I mean we did game and youy to read the game pretty well this is surage has been playing for many years and know his batting PR

Realized the order and he was known more as a Fielder and they always put him five low midd order you know and today they upped him there in the top and he’s really shown that right and you know so he’s he’s kind of the surprise package so everybody knows him it’s a hidden

Essense from yesterday’s loss Jets on the other hand every time Jets starts with the victory I feel bad the reason for whenever I’ve seen Jets they start they go undefeated non-stop they go all the way to the finals or the semi and they lose that last match probably like

How India did in the World Cup bling and then in the finals you know when it matches I think that’s the team kind of Bund out so I always pray that jet starts with and uh it didn’t happen today right uh they have ratnagiri jets in mahra Premier League and I was

Associated with the tournament and I saw jet lose one of the league matches and then I said okay this time they’re going to win right uh so it’s one of those odd things you know I know the history so there’s a Superstition but uh let’s hope good news is they’ve got their act

Performance you know at the end of that game four oal has completely dominated them 36 RS margin again just like uh Eagles U Titans is a new unit they are brand new to the league right all those guys are playing together for the first time the management is new to this

Tournament right so they are really feeling things compared to there are three new teams Eagles uh Titans and the Wolves other nine teams are old to this tournament so they know the initial phases you know it’s almost like starting off from the where they left

Off so again uh Titans it’s a new era for them and it’s a new inning but you know though they lost with a big margin uh the fight back by uh xan talab talab was very heartening uh so I I think it’s a team that will rise I’m very sure

Year but a phenomenal cricketing brain he’s very smart and I think you spoke about that winning mindset certainly they carry forward across every sport or every League that they go forward oh this time gets the Inside Edge and then just probably will run for a single towards that backwards Square Le position more

Brues which really helps a lot of the young Lads in the team up you know to to push up the enthusiasm and yes you can see him shaking his legs gingerly and of course as soon as he finishes his keeping duties he’ll head to the physio we have professional qualified physios from

Helios what a delightful these are moments that really brighten up the tournament you know these are pearls and gems of a tournament moments that stand out look at that man you’ll see a lot of veterans doing the Wicket keeping Duty one might feel they’re hiding there because of the age probably lack of

Fitness but they give it more than what they have inside them what a delivery to start with and anmol is again a lad who’s played proper Cricket he bowls with a lot of pace when he bowls with a Lea ball he is someone who’s played proper serious cricket

Has trained surely you can make out he’s trained in the Puna Club Academy so that last over has got a bit of balance back into the match the Eagles have clawed their way back into this match and put a break on the Jaguars this time just plays out for another

Single there towards a deep midwicket just run run out there and they want to scramble for a couple of them well not getting hold of that one uh properly happy to concede a single there there was a no ball on the first ball but fortunately for unal that was not

Capitalize upon and the best part is there are completely two new batsmen on the creas now they have to start from scratch and just uh lucky enough to not get his probably scooped that over fine leg if would have connected but uh gladly so not to the Wicket Keeper’s hand

Straight to the Fielder there at long on in the reliable hands of Rohan Tope they’re bowling well from the fourth over onwards the Eagles have taken charge of the Affairs after seeing the back of barav Patak and sidhant they now have a grip on the

Match that is a no ball is that a front foot no ball that’s a free hit so that’s a second no ball in this over I think yes that is a front foot all yes all types of no balls are free hits uh so uh on this time well

Oh I think that should not be running wi samon is trying his best unfortunately they tried to run incredible about four runs on the cards oh beautiful delivery well he did concede the no balls but he did not concede runs of the free hits and unfortunate for Vijay samon who

Could expect the ball spinning off a bat air and that’s what happened with that boundary earlier uh overall a good over I think except for that boundary five hours gone 52 for3 are the Jaguars let’s see now what Akash dvani and sorab Singh gangwar will do in the last six balls the Eagles

Might be pleased as much with whatever they have managed to restrict the Jaguars so far certainly of course we probably thought they could have got a good start out there but we restricted them very well courtesy to those last couple of tickets that have fallen down

I think they would want to try to get the best in this last six deliveries that they have uh but probably uh the helos there helos Eagles brought in a spinner that’s n of Shah yeah I think it really helps because you know you this lack of pace

Out there they really have to do a lot of raw power to hit the ball out of the park true lot of chirping in the Eagles Outfield beautiful delivery beautiful delivery and he catches that one pouches one of his own bowling and snares a wicket on the very first ball a good

Start for n Shah and sorab gangwar perishing caught in Bow by nirav 52 for three well I think he just probably mistimed it because he wanted to go high not really getting the right part of the bat and eventually high in the air and comfortable catch there for NV seen so

Many Bowlers trying to do that somehow fumbling down while they try to run but he was calm and composed while he went for the catch absolutely we’ve seen a couple of Bowlers ball these kind of catches which have just soared above the head they have dropped them but uh sore up there

Not going to the pitch of the ball and getting an outside edge of the bat and that is how it just ballooned around the C area let’s see who’s a new bat can we have a closeup of the batsman so we can oh I think that would have been close

That be a boundary that will be a boundary that looks uh this time this time oh well ah I think there’s a catch there but just slipped and in fact goes for a four just Tred to get into the that reex strover area and eventually he gets a

Four yeah he went he went for it I mean um one could should give credit for him instead of playing safe and save the boundary he went for the Wicket so two productive Strokes two boundaries back to back good comeback then now is in need of doing all that run out

It’s much possible now for them to get that they need 63 and 36 undoubtedly the first three overs they were 41 and in the remaining two they just got 21 so they almost restricted them to half of what they have scored in the first three normally the rati the other way the
