The future the fighter of the night is bezi dur no I’m just kidding uh Alexander volkanovski is the fighter of the Knight the featherweight Champion the only champion on the card looking to become the greatest featherweight of all time and I think if he beats Ilia Toria he establishes himself as the greatest

Featherweight ever he’s also one of the most technical Fighters we’ve ever seen as well the stake of the night the fighter that’s in hot Waters you could say it’s Henry sudo because he did say if he loses he will retire but nobody’s in a worst spot to Andrew Lee Andrew Lee

Is on a three law streak one more and that’s probably it for her in the UFC it’s sink or swim for her The Banger of the night is easily Marcos rerro Del Lima versus Justin tafa if a first round finish had a name it’s Del Lima versus

Tafa both guys don’t like to go further than the first round they want to get in land some hands and walk out as quickly as possible Del Lima rushes opponents Justin tafa is a good counter puncher that’s going to be an explosive one the fight of the night is easily by far the

Main event Alexander volkanovski versus Elia Toria two of the most technical fighters in the featherweight division on this card as well that one is going to be by far the best fight and before we get into the featured fights let’s start with the first fight on the card

And go all the way up so first fight is Andrea Lee versus Miranda Maverick I got to go with Maverick in this one I think she has a better mental going into the fight a bit more momentum she’s a physically strong fighter Andre Lee’s quite slow especially in the standup

Both Fighters are quite well-rounded but it seems like Miranda Maverick puts things together a little bit better and should get her the win here so I’m going go with Maverick by decision then we go to Oban Elliott versus Val Woodburn I got to go with Elliot I think he keep

The range on Woodburn I think he’s faster I think he’s more precise with his hands he has some really good kicks as well the thing he has to watch out from Woodburn are the low kicks Woodburn’s got some very powerful low kicks can really stumble you off balance

With those he’s got quite amount of power in his hands but he does throw them very looping and I think Elliot has Superior foot position should be able to line up the Jabs and then pull counter with his cross because of how short wood bur is I think head kicks from Ellie are

Also going to be viable so I’m going to go with on Elliot by a third round TKO they’re with to Josh quinland versus Danny Barlo I’m going to go with Danny Barlo Danny Bar’s got a sharp solid paaw left hand very good left cross very good left uppercut better foot position than

Quinland as well very similar to Oban Elliot in that whereas quinland looks a little bit hesitant out there especially in his last fight against Trey Waters who was a very tall guy to go up against but Danny Barlo is going to be faster he’s not going to have the reach but

He’s going to make it seem like he does with how fast he’s moving away from Josh quin’s punches I think Danny brawler will be able to back step from those cause the punch to fall short and then counter him with his own left hurting him out there quinland has the wrestling

To go to he will mix it up here and there but just man I don’t like how tenative he looks out there in front of his opponent doesn’t really have the best defense really just picks up his guard and moves around and I think Danny Barlo should be able to pinpoint that

Left hand on him so I’m going go with Danny Barlo second round TKO then we go to Jang Ming gang versus Brenson robero Ming gang is 25 years old standing at 6’2 robero is 27 years old standing at 6’2 as well 81in reach for robero 75 1/2

For Jen both guys possess really good power robero showed that in the contender series jien SS down almost every single one of his fights he has good ground and pound he has good top control the only thing is he might be outsped and I wonder if robero can get

Him to the ground avoiding the danger like when he fought fundis jien seems to be the bigger fighter he used to be a heavyweight and he used to look a lot bigger than he is now so he’s carried that kind of size and power before this fight at the light heavyweight division

He’s got a dynamic left hook really good at switching stances with it into the opposite stance for the new lead I looked at quite a bit of his fights in the heavyweight Division and skewed a bit of my perspective of his speed because the heavyweight he didn’t look

Nearly as fast of course sometimes when I watch robera it makes me believe that robero is faster but Jen is operating at a much faster speed as a light heavyweight so carrying that kind of power and size down to the light heavyweight Division I got to go Jang

Mingyang and I’m going to go by a first round knockout as most of his fights go he looks like a pretty good Prospect for light heavyweight they with to renya Nakamura versus Carl Vera this is not even close going R Nakamura there’s not really much to say here Rena is 28 years

Old he’s 5′ 6 versus the 36-year-old also 5’6 Carlos Vera in the bantamweight Division I think R Nakamura can beat him in the standup can beat him with his wrestling But ultimately do think he will win this fight through groud pound or a submission in the second round

There we go to Marcos roero Del Lima versus Justin tafa Marcos roero Del Lima is 38 years old 6’1 a heavyweight Justin tafa 30 years old 6 feet a heavyweight weight who’s going to be a bit heavier than Del Lima going into this Del Lima is a very explosive aggressive fighter

Usually he probably understands Justin toa’s counter ability so might not be as aggressive as he usually is it might want to stick at range a little bit but still that’s going to give Justin t a lot to work with and download he has been trying to Pace himself a little bit

Better but I think that’s still going to go against him I think Del Lima’s best way of winning this fight is probably to come out there aggressive but that could get him knocked out very quickly as well so ultimately whe regardless of the way the fight goes I think I’m going to go

With Justin off on this one and I’m going to go with a second round knockout as Del Lima is trying to Pace himself a little bit to not just rush into the counter puncher but it is a heavyweight division anything can happen with these two fighters especially guys that can

Hit this hard one punch and this fight is over then we go to Amanda Lemos versus mckenzi dur Lemos is 36 years old one of the oldest straw weights 5’3 McKenzie dur is 30 years old also 5’3 in a just World McKenzie D would win this but because of how inconsistent she is

She’s probably going to come out there throwing overhand at Lemos and gets countered and knocked out Lemos is one of the hardest punchers if not the hardest puncher in the strawweight division Mackenzie dur will win Mill her punches and that will cause very big openings for Lemos to catcher that right

Straight from Lemos is going to be pinpoint on the chin all night if D comes out to Reckless like that dur needs to get this fight to the ground Lemo has really bad takedown defense she doesn’t really defend a takedown well in fact her best takedown defensive tool is

The guillotine which is exactly what D wants her to go for so why not just attempt to take down get her to the ground and just dominate on top McKenzie dur should win this fight get the fight to the ground and submit her but I have

A feeling she’s going to come out there striking with lamos and gets knocked out for it so I’m going to go with MacKenzie during fighting smart right last fight she didn’t fight too intelligently so I’m expecting that inconsistency to bring her into an intelligent approach this time shooting a blast double on

Lemos rising to the clinch because we she probably won’t be able to get Lemos to the ground with the initial shot she might trip her off from the clinch or scramble to the ground maybe even pulling guard reversing Lemos and ultimately submitting her so I’m going to go with McKenzie D third round

Submission but watch when she just gets knocked down the feet then we go to the first fight on the main card Anthony Hernandez versus Roman kopilov on paper this is a very bad fight for Hernandez given that he is a well-rounded guy he will attempt many many takedowns and

Fights in almost all of his fights actually but Roman kabulov has very good takedown defense and he’s supposed to be the better striker of the two he possesses more power he has a great ability to set up the opponent for shots and condition him for an example a high

Kick that he threw at claudo robero a lot of faints up high playing with the hands gives a dip to the left ducks in in the center and causes rero to try to intercept him with the left hook that goes past the body right so he got rero

To focus lower both of his hands dropped to a lower level his Right Guard dropped down below his chin and his left punch dropped down to the midsection Roman kopilov countered him with the head kick beautifully that’s the kind of devastating striking skill that Roman kopilov could put on Anthony Hernandez

Anthony Hernandez has a competent jab he does move around he’s not going to be a sitting Target the way Claud robero was for the head kick but even still I think I’m going to go with Roman copy if he could defend those takedowns he should

Do pretty well I think so I’m going to go with Roman copy by a third round TKO and the odds in these fights are all over the place there’s a lot of close pick thems there’s a lot of big favorites and you can go and capitalize

Pressure but because morab is such an offensive fighter he leaves a lot of openings all over the place every time he attacks there’s an opening on him to get countered big time and cejudo has an incredibly fast trigger on that right straight you saw that when he fought

Wilson haste way back in the day you saw that with a knee against Dominic Cruz very quick openings and he just blasts right through those man he could potentially catch morab with a knee as well he could shoot down the right straight and neutral every single strike

From Henry suo has that have fight ending intent he could not allow morab to keep himself in the fight taking out his legs crushing the body all that stuff it could definitely work but it’s not going to deter morab too much morab is going to keep attack and attack and

By a decision then we go to Jeff Neil versus Ian Gary this fight was supposed to happen a while ago if Jeff Neil brings on that pressure we’re in for a fight man there has been some fights where he hasn’t done that he was a little bit more tentative staying back a

Bit where he does his best work when he’s moving forward he needs to cut angles though he cannot sit on the center line because Ian Gary’s right straight is such a dangerous weapon he fires that from such long range has incredible precision and you need to get off the center line because they’re

Fighting opposite stances though Jeff Neil is going to have an opportunity to take the outside foot Advantage not only to avoid Ian Gary’s right straight but also to line up his own left and I think if he can land one left hand if he lands

One left on Ian Gary he can follow up with a barrage and put down Ian Gary if Jeff Neil can follow up when he lands the left hand I think that’s how he can beat Ian Gary he just needs to find the left hand on the chin that’s the biggest

Part Ian Gary’s not too great on the back foot the best thing that he does are the pull counters or the back step counters after that one initial back step he’s kind of there to be hit and if Jeff Neil takes the outside foot it’s

Going to cause Ian gar to take that back step and try to fire something out that’s where Jeff Neil can angle off for the left hand and then follow up with a combination putting him down Jeff Neil has smooth footwork he moves everywhere very omnidirectional like that and it’s

Not choppy footwork right Ian Gary is a little bit more choppy with his footwork he’ll move one step at a time one step one step one step where Jeff NE is kind of floating around another big opening for Jeff Neil are those left hands to

The body as well if you can find the liver with that left hook he can fall with head shot right off of that but when you watch Jeff Neil’s previous fights you will see him fall short with the left hand if he fires out that left

And falls short with it he is going to get countered and one right hand from Ian Gary can put him on skates and Ian Gary is going to follow up with a combination of his own with high kicks and punches if he rocks Jeff Neil and he

Can put him out as well so one big meaningful punch from either fighter with a good follow-up can end this it just depends who is going to do that first which leads me to believe that is a very close fight the odds have a big

Time for Ian gar and I don’t agree with that at all I can see both Fighters winning here so I think this should be much closer to a pick them fight but ultimately my prediction for this fight fight I’m going to stick with my prediction when this fight was announced

Inside the octagon and they lock the cage but let’s go with it right let’s say kosa does stick around and he finally fights again he’s been fighting one time a year for like the last 5 years or so Whitaker has been a lot more active which is going to be an advantage

For him but he did get hurt by drias dupy his chin has never been that great it’s going to be kind of the same thing if he gets hit big by Paul Costa he was always going to get hurt regardless if it was before or after the drias fight

But poosa is going to have ring rust yet again he didn’t look too great against Luke rockold in fact he hasn’t really looked too great ever since he fought adna he’s very Reckless sometimes he does Wing his punches and doesn’t really aim them too well he’s got good takedown

Defense he shows some moments against Marvin vtor but he came in so heavy those kicks were going to look powerful and he does have the kind of power to hurt Whitaker with any kind of shot to the head but if Whitaker fights as smart I see him absolutely schooling Paulo

Costa the jab is going to be so disruptive the one to high kick I think can land on CA as well he can mix up with takedowns just to throw him off more I believe Robert Whitaker should be able to see most of the punches from

Poost and I think he should be able to initiate a lot of the action with his jab and I believe the jab is is going to be so effective in this fight he really doesn’t have to go to much else honestly he could follow up with the right

Straight and just you know a little bit riskier but he can do so follow up with the two high kick if he sees the opening but In-N-Out Jabs should be the biggest thing for him just cover up from a potential left hook entering with the jab move out and that’s all he really

Needs to do maybe some push kicks to back Pol Costa away from being too aggressive that’s ultimately the biggest thing that Robert Whitaker has to watch out in this fight is the pressure from PA Costa Costa’s going to look to push him back and Whitaker is going to need

That space as long as the fight is in the center I think you could just fire out those Jabs and win the fight in a boxing oriented way not the bouncy karate stuff even though that can work against someone like ca but maybe Kaa has adjusted and learned a few things

From this time off and takes a page out of jerro Ker’s book right with that Southpaw jab that’s why I think of Kosta sticks with a little bit more of a boxing approach sticks to the ground more than usual I think he should be able to outmaneuver PA Costa in most of

Happen I think this fight could be a war I think it could go back and forth both guys are probably going to hurt each other at least that’s what we want to see right we want to see a great fight out of these two and really see ilot to

War rise to the occasion and get on the inside and start throwing blows of volkanovski right that’s where his best asset is if he gets right in front of vul’s face Cuts him off constantly with the right hand and right movements and just blasting to the body into the head

That’s where vinoski needs to avoid the whole fight he needs to not stand in front of Ilia Toria it’s much easier said than done once Toria gets in front of you because he has a great ability to cut you off from range though is where I

Think vul is going to have almost a complete dominance of this fight I think his jab and low kick is going to be so problematic more so the jab because I can see to P your catching the low kicks and taking him down the jab is going to

Be the most effective thing for vul he has a pretty good reach Advantage about three Ines he has good movement behind the jab he’s never sitting still and throwing it I can see potential left high kicks as he’s conditioning to to drop that right hand which he usually

See volkanovski get hurt more often in fights whether it be against Islam makev or Chad Mendes or Max H the second time they fought but I’m very curious to see how good the takedowns of ilot toore are going to be because a lot of Fighters don’t attempt that against um

Volkanovski a lot of Fighters don’t shoot blast doubles on him a lot of Fighters don’t shoot single legs on him like that there was Isam makev right but it’s like it’s a different game when you’re fighting someone that much taller than you right A lot of people like to

Use MMA math and put volcano was able to hang with Islam makv on the ground so he should be able to hang with elot deor when that’s never the case that’s like saying that’s saying Sean Strickland couldn’t hang with Alex per on the feet so he can’t hang with adna either

Doesn’t make any sense Styles make fights it’s not the level of opponent you’re fighting that that has nothing to do with any of this cuz it’s not a video game this is two human beings fighting each other number one anything can happen and number two Styles make fights

It would not surprise me at all if ilot theorya can take volkanovski down and present some issues on top I do expect volkanovski to get up he has a good ability to do so it’s just you have to be very wary about giving up your back

And giving up your neck in the meantime because to p is very quick to snatch onto your neck man we’ve seen a plethora of different kind of chokes that he used gone to his G to it on his opponents like Anaconda chokes Guillotines re naked chokes arm triangles Etc but

Here’s ultimately my prediction for this fight my pick has not changed since the fight got announced I’m going to go with Alexander vulcanos ski the reason why I’m going to go with Alexander volkanovski is because I think that jab is so much of an issue for Toria torya

Is much better at evading the opponent’s power right hand than he is the jab the jab could be disruptive and can condition his head movement to get caught by some potential head kick I can see a situation where volkanovski is probing the jab keeping it out there

Causing tort to dip his head and then he catches him with a high kick I can see him also throwing a Fade Out left hook catching toor with one of those as well and I see a lot of damage happening from the light kicks vul though has to be

Very cautious that elot toore is going to fire out that right hand over those kicks at least early in the fight before the damage settles in he has to be very cautious of that because Tor does not have a good ability to check kicks he will move away from them sometimes but

Usually he is so heavy on the front foot and leaning forward the leg is there to be kicked all day early in the fight though vulcanos has to be cautious of a right hand com in his way when he throws one and this could turn into a gokkan

Saki KH round Tre situation very quickly but I do think if he is cautious enough volkanovski will cause a lot of damage to that leg making his Jabs much more difficult to evade and following off with the Jabs I think in like the third and fourth rounds now the right straight

Is going to follow up maybe I can see V catch him with a head kick at some point but if not I think the more likely scenario is him to win by a decision so I’m going to go with Alexander volkanovski and I’m going to go by a
