This practice to Now do so I’ve tried to show you the building blocks of how I got here cuz I looked at rondos and I went they’re great but they don’t give me good game returns and the player in the middle Works their socks off wins the ball back

The middle 11 passes if you’re on the outside double money if you break out or dribble through that might be another way you score it having said that the fact that didn’t necessarily keep score did it affect them competing did they put in a shift did we have lots of

Transition so think about that moment of uncertainty if I want to work on transition I want them to experience that again and again and I want that possession cycle to go round and round and round and round but what do I also want if it keeps going round and round

And round what are they not doing securing and defending yeah so I need highlight that in the game now about securing reason it didn’t happen as much even though we did see them get 10 passes and 7 Seconds of possession is the size of my area’s tight so again the

Size of your area will make or break your session if I’d have made it twice the size would we have got as many transitions no so I’ve condensed it to get my outcomes but now I need to make it more realistic just to see if it can

Apply the learning in the game normal game yeah I might put some rules in just to emphasize the transition element yeah but I want you to think about what you do when you’ve just won it or just lost it yeah what you do when you’ve just won

No and what does one team have to do to the ball when it’s bobbling around win it intercept yeah do you know a word I like the team that can secure it yeah what does the word secure mean it’s ours yeah now I’m not saying use your hands cuz that’ll be handall

When the ball comes in like that you need to it okay so you’re thinking about how you might react to it by touching able to support each other and go right we’re going to secure it I’m then looking at what do you do to attack yellas you got two choices to defend now

What are they do you go and press what’s your other choice or do you sit all right right so now we’ve got this game going on yeah of tactics you ready so I’m going to keep feeding the balls in to test you ready cuz you’ve probably heard coaches

Say sometimes you got to go backwards to go forwards that said yeah I’m going to test you now always think can I go forward first why you it brilliant you know in transition could the other team be unorganized so we might be able to capitalize yeah and

Punish them so don’t talk yourself out of it and go we must go back cuz you know when you go back the other team might do what come and press you so just think about that tradeoff but you both did it really well ready 20 seconds left what a pass that is young
