Must be replaced but remember there’s no penalty if you cause your ball to move in the teeing area on the patting green or when you’re searching for your golf ball but you must still remember to replace your ball back where it was so just remember be extra careful when
You’re around your golf ball on The Fairway and around the greens so full foul of this particular rule

seems to me that rule is more of a mercy rule. since the alternative is for it to be counted as a stroke, and played as it lies.
or just play with solid people that don’t care
