Okay everybody let’s welcome Jason crack from Smash GC Jason you had an awesome day of 5 under shot 65 tell us a little bit about your rounds yeah um hit the driver in the Fairway obviously that’s a big key around this place uh I can have
Some tuck pins uh start off really nice made uh you know quite a long putt on the par 316 made a hit two quality shots into uh 17 and you know uh I I played solid I hit a really good shot out of the Fairway bunker on 18 which was uh
Which was huge for me cuz that’s a tough shot um you know one other uh up and down that was uh was key but the rest of the day was pretty solid I was just uh talking to Paul the the leader board is so tight so packed there’s so many guys
In contention you’re currently T3 what do you have to do tomorrow to maintain the momentum and kind of break out away from the pack well I think this is one of those golf courses that like if you can kind of get into a pretty good Rhythm you’ll uh you’ll make some
Birdies out there obviously hitting hitting some quality you know short iron shots there’s quite a few out here so I think if you’re uh you the right side out of the hole giving yourself a a pretty straight putt here you can get a lot of little subtle um bumps and curves
And whatnot around this golf course but I I think if you play solid put it in the Fairway you’re going to give yourself a lot of opportunities so smash is also playing really well as a team you guys are currently also tied for third everyone had a pretty good round
Today I actually think Brooks’s score was the one that didn’t count if that tells you anything yeah um tell us uh you know do you guys have anything that you’re doing as a team together this week to kind of you know get that first smash Victory with the new team well uh
The rest of the boys are staying downtown on the on the Strip I’m staying with my swing coach uh Off the Strip to to stay away from the uh the amenities uh but uh nonetheless um you know we spent quite a bit of time last week uh you know shooting the shooting
The you know what and uh hanging out so I think we uh we enjoyed our ourselves and enjoyed the the new team the new Squad so I think uh this week I think we’re a little more comfortable knock the rust off and uh hit the ground
Running with two new faces on the team with Taylor and GMAC that change the dynamic of your team and how are you guys all vibing together um really well um I’ve known GMAC for a long time I know Brooks has known him for a long time Taylor’s been a you know a longtime
Friend too so um I think we’re all on the same page I think we all get along really well and take care of our business and I think that’s what meeses well on a on a team awesome and kick it over to Mike Paul said earlier that he’s
Actually surprised that seven under is leading are you surprised that maybe the scores weren’t a little bit lower um not really just because of how soft the greens are you know with the rain I think um you know obviously playing the ball in hand with no mud is a was a huge
Thing and uh you know anytime we get ball in hand you know place the lie with soft greens you know you’re going to have a guy shoots six seven eight on your par so I thought a good quality score out around this golf course the
How tight it is uh would be you know four under would be a solid round and you know I got it in on five so I’m I’m pleased with my round 36 more holes to go and uh Fairways and greens make a few make a few Putts
