Then they lost their second game 39 to 45 against Prairie and then they won their third game 55- 42 against Troy and moving on to to the genese Bulldogs they won their first game 4237 against Troy and here their second game they lost 3666 against laway and finally they won their third game

Game after that the winner helped me out here okay so the game after this one is the championship the winner of that game gets first place moves on to State the loser will play the winner of this game to go for a chance at second place and

Starting lineup for both C and jennessy here momentarily question is which one we’re going to start with that is the question first for the Cubs sopore the Cubs yep we’re going to start with the CI Cubs we have number one Emma crog a sophomore the bulog then for the

Bulldogs number one Riley leasman a junior for the Cubs the senior number three for the Cubs number three Lany Landmark a senior the bulog Soph number two for the Bulldogs number two Monica subbert a sophomore for number 14 for the Cubs Mariah Porter number 14 a senior number five auy for the Bulldogs

Number five Audrey Barber a senior a senior number 20 for the Cubs number 20 Carly Skinner a [Applause] senior for the Bulldogs number 20 Chloe Greaser a sophomore numbery for the Cubs number 34 Ashlin showning a junior and then ending it out for the Bulldogs number 22 Kendra Meyer a junor

All right so that is the starters for both teams tip off is just underway double header here in Leon as after this we have the elape wildcast against the Prairie Pirates the number one and number two see definitely stick around for that one again that winner is going to go to

State tip off is underway for the Bulldogs we have Greaser tipping off having for the Cubs we have Skinner height looks pretty even between both of them just which one has a higher vertical I think so both teams did play on Tuesday and some a couple key players

For the CI Cubs is number one Emma Crow and number three Laney Landmark definitely the two stars of the Ki Cubs and they’re just dominant and they have a great connection on the court and the balls up and Kimi gets a hold of it Landmark now krog krog drives

In goes for the two and it’s no good nice rebound there subbert now with the ball looks ahead to Greaser Greaser goes up for two and it’s also no good kog gets the rebound looks ahead to showning and now to Landmark Landmark goes up for two back and forth and back and forth

And the fouls called yeah haven’t really seen any offense plays yet here just a lot of like you said just back and forth action and that foul will be on landmark of CI no she’s at the linee so that’ll go on lesmond landmark’s first one’s up and it’s good and scoreboard is turned

Off her second one’s up and so so [Applause] good going to take a little and scoreboard needs to be plugged in there yep we have a loose cord there and so hopefully that does not mess with our score bug I know it has in the past so bear with us if that does

Affect as we get this all straightened out it looks like the scoreboard is going to work because normally we have to like reset the score buug and do all that fun stuff inbound now for Gennesse Leeman with the ball looks all the way ahead to Meer and Meer tries going to subber but

Pass is a little inaccurate it’s going to go out of bounds and landmark now inbounding looks all the way ahead a really long pass to Skinner now back to Landmark up top nice bounce pass to krog on the inside she can’t keep a hold of it though it’s going to be geneses

Ball subbert or excuse me Meer now at the ball sees subbert then to Leeman nice lob pass and the two is good for Barber that was a good offensive possession by jenese there as she gets a steal and some momentum there and L the ball hits the ground hard and she’s

Grabbing her face is lesmond no lesmond is standing up Meyer is on the ground that is Meyer looks like she hit the ground hard hopefully she is okay shooking up there and concussions a big safety protocol here so she might need to get checked out for concussion

Kind of grabbing at her elbow too she’s yeah hit that ground hard so far though both teams coming out really strong definitely a really fastpac [Applause] set yeah jness C kind of really slowed down on that offensive possession and really got the ball moving before they

Attempted to score I think that will be the key in this game is who can get their offense set up more Myer’s going to take a seat after that hard fall and Basinger is going to come out for her so the score is tied 22 701 left to go in

The first as we get the score bug up and running again Landmark taking all the way down and now porter porter drives in kicks it back out to Landmark Landmark with the three and it’s no good she did hit a couple of important threes in that very first game

Against Prairie but Cameo is not able to stop H’s momentum and now Leeman with the three and it’s no good a good offensive Rebound in the two points for Greaser Porter now at the ball looks at a landmark and again Landmark taking it down the court good ball handling goes

Up for two it’s no good and Greaser gets the rebound taking the ball down the court goes with the quick two no good gets her own rebound yeah no one’s stopping Greaser here she just kind of kept on going and no one met for the defender on CI and

She just took it all the way fortunately she did Miss but it will stay Jesy ball and barber now at the ball then see subber subber goes up for two and it’s knocked out of her hands not sure who knocked it out but overall good defense from CI

There and Leeman with the ball looks inside of Barber Barber gets fouled on the way up she going to be at the line for two and Skinner fouled her for the Cubs and Leeman’s first one’s up and it’s good the and her second one’s now up and it’s

So good yeah jennae on a 6o run nobody responded for CI score is 6-2 Gennesse 555 to go here in the first and Porter with the ball looks in the corner to hunt then Lark Lamark with the three and it’s just short Lark’s a very good shooter on CI you definitely don’t want

To leave her open but she did miss that three Porter now the ball drives in goes up for two throws it out of bounds it’s going to be genesy ball looks like we have Leeman inbounding leasman then sees Greaser back to Leeman and a long pass gets intercepted by

Porter Porter then sees showning and now hunt Landmark all the way to the right to Porter Porter swings across to hunt now showning Lamark now up top 12 seconds left on the shot clock Porter now this is the first long possession from CI really milking out out that shot clock

However I think it’s because of how well genes defense is doing Porter with the three and it’s good banked it in there kind of heaved up a last second shot and it did go in CI with the 221 press here and Shonen gets a hold of it and

There’s going to be a foul on the ground she’ll not be going at the line for two with that last possession even though Cami did get three out of it that was really great defense from Gennesse um CI would try going in going for the easy two and because of how well

Basinger then to Meyer Meyer with the three and it’s no good lmar gets the rebound and passes it to showning showning all the way across the porter porter with the open open three and it’s long Basinger gets the rebound Lark was Triple team there in the front Court I’m

Drives right past Bas hinger and there’s going to be a foul offensive foul looks like on Crow of Kimi and Basinger will be inbounding it sees Greaser then to Barber now Meyer back to Barber barar goes up for two she misses and Lark now with the ball now to hunt

Porter porter then sees showning showning throws it up krogue gets the offensive rebound and with her shot she gets foul she’s going to be line for two the foul was on Basinger and we will keep updating you on that score the score is Cami five

Genesis 6 324 here to go in this first quarter three team fouls for genes and two for KI so just a quick score update as we’re trying to get that scoreboard back up on the screen for you guys and krog’s first one’s up and it’s Long and her second one’s up and it’s good it’s going to be some subs we have loen coming onto the court and showning taking a seat and Basinger inbounding sees Greaser back to Basinger and we see the full core from CI too but jenesy easily beats it

Barber throws it up it’s no good hunt now with the ball and hunts sees Landmark now Porter Crow goes in and she gets fouled yeah Crow took that one on Three chance and she got a floater up in a foul drawn for Crow so great job by her that foul

Is going to be on number five Aubrey Barber her first teams fourth and krog second time at the line she’s 50% so far and her first one’s up and it’s no gu yeah free throws are a big part of this game and in this tournament a lot of

Teams have gone to the line and it’s just a matter of capitalizing on those free points and her second one’s up and just long and Greaser gets a rebound looks ahead of basing her now to subber subber goes up for two and it’s good jenese has a great transitional offense are able to

Beat CI quite a bit and that’s where the majority of those points are coming for CI they saw a catch CI flat footed and they’re easily able to go down the court and be open for a shot as Crow gets three points yeah I mentioned that before she normally sinks those threes

And you definitely don’t want to leave her open behind the arc she just need a little bit of a warm up the first six or so minutes of this game and another big part of this game is handling the ball making smart passes not forcing the ball inside or just

Trying to you know Panic while breaking the Press you need to stay poised and making the smart decision of where you’re going to pass and Hunt now with the ball sees kogan the corner goes in and she travels yeah those self-inflicting turnovers are just kind of demoralizing

As a team those things that you can control and the things that you practice and when they don’t convert into a game it’s just kind of frustrating for a team subber now with the ball and it’s picked up by CI lammar taking it down the court goes up for two and it’s

Good yeah Lamark playing with that cast on her left hand I mentioned that in the last game it’s just very impressive how she’s able to battle through it she’s battling through some sort of injury as another travel there in this game yeah Crow dominating Crow and landmark just a powerful Duo here for

CI and a large number of subs for jenese and loan inbounds to Landmark Landmark picks up her dribble she’s panicking a little bit sees hunt on the left side hunt sees loan then to krog krog with the long three and it’s long there’s going to be a foul on 20

Skinner and another quick score update CI 11 genese 8 Minute 33 here in the first quarter one more foul that’ll put CI in the bonus still trying to get that scoreboard operated after it got unplugged and Greaser now at the ball and Bs tries to save it she’s not able to

And looks like we have Lamark inbounding sees hunt and Hunt takes it all the way down the court after a nice screen from Landmark hunt to the right to Landmark Ki has really slowed it down on offense I don’t know if it’s because of that genese defense or if that’s kind of

The game plan there but I think it’s jesy’s defense you’re doing a great job of poking that ball free and causing turnovers and despite jesy’s press getting beat pretty easily and CI getting down the court pretty fast Jenice is recovering like super quickly and they’re able to get back and stop CI

From having an easy layup so that kind of bailed CI out on the play clock he was down to seven but then a foul from Greer resets the shot clock and puts them in the the bonus and lammar’s going to be at the line she’s 100% at the line right now

This is her second time and her first one’s up and it’s no [Applause] good and another thing here with the donations every time someone makes a donation an animation to Joe bangle will pop up on the screen so we were working on that right before this game and

During our sports broadcasting class so if you want to see all the different animations that Joe bangle does when you donate you will see it here and Greaser goes up with it and it’s no good and a fight for the ball is going to end up in a jump ball

And Greaser is going to be inbounding and Greaser sees Meyer Meyer goes for the three it’s just short and hunk gets the rebound takes it down the court sees Landmark on the right then all the way in the corner to loen then back up top to Porter back to loen up top to

Landmark and krog now krog with the long three and it’s short hunk gets the offensive rebound then sees Porter got to get a shot off right here and good effort from CI there but it does not result in any additional points going on the board so at the end

Of the first quarter it is Ki 12 gen C 8 and we are going to step as side and we will see you at the start of the second quarter for so the buzzer sounds indicating the start of the second quarter it’s going to start out with Camy ey ball again 12

To8 CI in the lead and Lark inbounds it to hunt and now loen then krog in the corner back to loen up top nice move from loen sees krog then up top to lanmark Lamark with the three and it’s short Porter with the offensive rebound loan now looks to krogue

Inside and krog gets their own rebound throws it back up again it’s no good hunt with the offensive rebound then to Porter lone up top then hunt all the way in the corner and Porter now back to hunt quick bounce pass to Lo and then Porter on that right side back up top

Swinging all the way around inside to Crow krog now with the two fantastic ball Movement by CI moving it around around the perimeter finally inside to Crow and that is just tbook perfect offense and a great block from Porter there another thing you could think that amazing offensive possession for CI was

Their offensive rebounds Porter with the three and it’s just short J and another close to another offensive rebound it’s going to be a travel yeah and I don’t know what the came head coach said between the first and start of the second quarter but it is really working CI is looking very

Strong yeah with that or the other last possession Cami had maybe three or four offensive rebounds Greaser now at the ball then sees Banks and it’s going to go out of bounds it’s going to stay the Bulldogs is ball though and grease are inbound ing see subbert then Leeman up top

Inside to Barber Barber goes up for two and it’s no good and a jump ball is going to be called it’s going to be J’s ball again yeah CI with the Ben but don’t break defense they’re letting jenese shoot the ball but not much going here for Gennesse

And jenesy will be inbounding again leasman sees Greaser back to Leeman Greaser Greaser with the three and it’s no good off Target Crow gets the rebound and now Landmark with the ball see showning then on the left to hunt in the corner to Porter Porter

Drives in kicks it back out to hunt back up top to Landmark and now showning in the corner with the quick jump shot and it’s long it’s gumna be knocked out by a gen C player it’s going to stay Ci’s ball Landmark inbounding CI in the Box

Formation on offense taking the ball out of bounds jennessy in the two3 zone and Lamark with the three and it’s short and another jump ball will be called this time it’s cami’s ball possession to the Co and we have showning inbounding and now Porter up top all the way to the right to showning then to hunt and Hunt’s going to travel travel when she tries to pump pump fake yeah there’s only two seconds on the shot clock so I don’t know if she would have

Got a shot shot off [Applause] anyway and couple of subs for jenese but now it’s greaser’s ball and she’s going to see Leeman then Meyer now on the left to subbert Leeman now in the corner kicks it back [Applause] out yeah that was a smart move by greas

There catching the ball in the backport that was a back court violation but that is better than CI stealing the ball and getting an easy two and Cami now with the ball showning then on the left to hunt now Porter inside to krog then to hunt and Hunt is going to travel again

When she tries to pump fake yeah she kind of gets an extra pivot foot when she catches the ball there and just kind of a different catch there and she needs to make sure she gets her left foot planted before she catches it so I think at this

Point you either realize your mistake and fix it or completely retire it from your toolbook or toolkit right now Meyer throws it up for two and it’s good nice floater there from Meyer finally depleting that genesy score drought and despite jesy’s score drought CI did not pull ahead they’re only ahead

By four with CI at 14 and jenesy at 10 krogue with the ball then sees hunt at top back to krogue krogue goes inside sees hunt hunt with the two and she misses there’s going to be a foul on number one krog and a quick score update CI 14

Gennesse 10 429 to go here in this second quarter and that will be Crow’s second personal and Greaser now with the ball sees Leeman then de Meer it’s pretty crucial that Gene sets up an effective offense right now Greaser [Applause] now kicks it back out to subbert and subbert shot misses everything

Yeah Gennesse just kind of looking out of sink there on offense as the head coach of Gennesse is going to call a timeout we’re going to go ahead and take it with them 409 to go here in this second quarter Ki 14 genese 10 e and we’re back after that quick timeout

We have Greaser inbounding for Gennesse and she does a long pass to subar up top and Greaser in the corner with the three it’s no good and Porter is going to get the rebound and she looks ahead to Landmark Lamark then to krogue and that really could have been a

Perfect play if krogue could have handled that ball a little better she was fouled hard there by Barber so I guess that’s my bad it wasn’t the ball handling that messed her up it was the foul but krog will be at the line she’s 25% the line right now her first one’s

Up and it’s no good thought that thought that was going to go after a couple lucky bounces yeah hit the rim like 10 times and her second one’s up and so so no good she will go one for six at the line and sub now with the ball sees Leeman up top then

Greaser then back up top to Meer Meer with the three and it’s just long close to offensive rebound but Cami gets a hold of it showning goes right around Meer of Gennesse Shing now the corner looks inside of Porter then a quick bounce pass to Crow and her shots no good

Greaser is going to get a hold of it that was a beautiful pass by into Crow there but she was just met by three Gennesse Defenders and Meyer goes up with the three and it’s no good Landmark get get a hold of it drives all the way inside

Yeah the entire bench of Gennesse wanting to travel there but an offensive foul called on Skinner of CI that is already her third personal and she’s going to take a seat now looks like Hunt’s going to replace her on the court and Greaser now at the

Ball then hands it off to Meer Meer then sees subber on the left side now a quick bounce pass to Barber and she passes it right to krog of Cami Landmark now at the ball Landmark drives on the right side hands it off to showning then to

Porter and now inside of hunt hunt in the left corner to showning back up top to Landmark and now hunt again Mii being patient showning with the three-point shot it’s no good great job by CI hitting the rim resetting the shot clock and I don’t know if it’s CI being patient or that

Tough Gennesse defense gen is definitely holding him to only shoot at the three-point line and so far they have not been super accurate but as I say that Porter with the three proven me wrong great shot by Porter there as you said Ki was very patient on that waiting for a good shot

And Meyer now with the ball and she throws it right to Landmark then looks ahead to showning showning takes it down goes up for two and it’s no good Barber gets the rebound passes it to Meer and the pass is a little too risky it’s knocked

Out and there’s going to be subs for Gennesse subar and Meer will take a seat and barber will also take a seat and we have uh Basinger Greaser and Banks now on the court Greaser with the ball looks to the right to Basinger then up top to Leeman inside to

Greaser Leeman now and Basinger with the three and it’s just short it’s going to be a tip tipped off by a JY player it’ll be cami’s ball CAD just really dominating on offense but only have a 1710 point lead over Gennesse it kind of feels like a

Bigger wider lead for CI than just seven especially because they’ve held most of the possession this game but again you can thank the genese defense for that and showning with the ball then to the right to Landmark then inside to krogue krog goes up for the

Two and it’s no good jenese gets the easy rebound and basing her with the ball then to Leeman Leeman with the really long three and it’s short she would have taking a step couple of steps up I think that could have been on target Landmark now at the ball goes up

For two and it’s no good jeny gets the rebound Greaser with the ball and again this is just back and forth Greaser now goes up for two and it’s no good and Kow gets the ball Gennesse with a lot of good opportunities on off defense maybe a

Force there from lean there on that very long top of the key three but just shots not going in for jennessy and Greaser with the three and it’s no good Banks gets the rebound and the two great spatial recognition by Banks realizing where she was at in the court

And just going right back up for two finding herself wide opened on the left side of the key and Porter now at the ball then sees landmark and now tries to go to krog but it’s picked off by a gene player Greaser gets a hold of it passes

It up top to Banks and banks with another two so at the end of the second quarter Gennesse really finding their stride on offense only down three and Porter with the ball goes up for two and it’s no good Crow gets the offensive rebound then sees Landmark

Then hunt on the left side goes for the three and it’s no good so Gennesse really showing some light here at that end of the second quarter CI 17 genesy 14 we’ll see how both teams adjust here coming into this third quarter and there is genes band showing

Players and the coaches might not like a nailbiter but I definitely do yeah and the fans definitely do too even if it is stressful but it sure makes it a lot more exciting as CI comes out of the locker Room so we saw Gennesse at the end of the second quarter really turn it up on offense there and just looked Unstoppable for a last couple of possessions so we’ll see if they can continue that momentum and this game is pretty special because Gennesse their defense has been super

Strong the entire game however their offense has been a little rusty a little bit not really getting a whole lot of points on the board but then C CI due to geneses defense their offense have been a little rusty and their defense has been pretty good definitely a defensive

Battle pretty lowc scoring game here in lcen but it’s going to start with Greaser and now Leeman up top then Quick Pass to Greaser inside now Barber Barber goes up for two and the two is good great way to start the second half for Gennesse yeah it looks like K or jenese

Really stopped the where they left off and showning goes up 42 and no good quite a bit of contact there no foul there shooting may have initiated that and Leeman now with the ball long pass to Meyer and then Landmark picks it up and then Jenice C steals it

Again and Barbera gets a hold of it then Meyer swung all the way across and now looks like Greaser is going to take the shot it’s just short and sub gets the offensive rebound and the two points yeah she just kind of at the right place

At the right time hit the front of the rim and right into her hands she went up for two just like that geneses in the lead good effort from both girls to get that ball it’s going to be a jump ball Leeman I think sort of dived onto

It and these stadiums are really starting to fill up as right after this game it will be lap way and Prairie the number one and number two as I said winner goes to State as number 20 Carly Skinner sinks the three definitely a way to switch that momentum from Gennesse over to CI

Jennessy has it Meyer now and she travels feeling a little bit of pressure from Skinner’s three-pointer and landmark’s going to be inbounding yeah that three-pointer from Skinner really shifted that momentum towards CI jenese had a lot of built momentum from that second quarter going on to the third showning now at the

Ball then sees porter back to showning in the corner and now inside to kog back outside of porter porter with the three and it’s short Greaser gets the rebound sees Meyer and krogue knocks it out of bounds it’s going to be Leeman inbounding yeah great Hands by krog you

Normally mention her offense but there showing her defense capabilities there and Meyer now at the ball looks inside and Greaser with the two points after the ball falls in the basket Porter now all tied up here in Leon Porter drives inside gets fouled on the way up
