We’re going to Pebble Beach very tricky week right now especially with the weather and trying to figure out right now where you want to maybe play guys in if it’s really bad weather generally want to play guys playing with spy spy glass avoid Pebble really good weather
You want playing Pebble I just looked to the weather forecast right now and it literally is telling me the opposite things one forecast is saying tomorrow is actually going to be the worst day of the two days Thursday and Friday and then I saw another one that said Friday
So you know why what who cares at this point I’m just going to pick the guys I want to pick and these are really kind of the attributes I’m looking for you know the weather’s going to be unpredictable it’s going to be cold it’s gonna be rainy there are gonna be some
Opportunities probably some birdes so first couple days I want guys who good with their short irons good from under 150 Ys good putting on POA but when the wind wind gets you know the weather gets pretty gnarly probably on Monday when they we’re gonna have to play through
This thing I want guys can kind of grind it out make a bunch of pars just get out of there I got five guys in mind that I think fit the billing that would be good one and done picks this week so let’s start with number five how about Adam
Scott you know I you know you might say really Adam Scott washed up old guy well he’s playing pretty good lately he had a couple top 10 over on the Australian tour last uh December came in top five over in Dubai and a pretty good field
And there’s a lot of things I really like about Adam Scott obviously really good poet history one of the better poet Putters in this field really good from under under 150 yards as well that’s going be very key so and you know Adam Scott’s definitely Tye guy he’s got a
Good short game he can go out he’s an adult grind out Pars in really difficult conditions I think he’s going to be really solid this week I bet I’m outright if you want to go with Adam Scott for your oneandone pick I think that’d be pretty good uh number four how
About JT Poston you might think all right JT Poston Southeastern guy not really good in bad weather while there’s a couple instances where he’s been pretty good uh in some adverse weather conditions last year the valpy came in the top 10 uh the final round was very
Cold and windy that time so you can do it in those types of conditions but uh toon definitely fits the type where I feel like he can do both you know obviously a great short iron player been playing very well over the last couple months uh you know he can do very well
From those dist stick balls pretty close and he can convert the putt but he also has a really good short game too so uh I think both can work for him this uh time he’s been very close to winning on uh the PG tour for the last six months or
So maybe he can get it done this week Pebble Beach number three Justin Thomas we debated last night about if he’s a house cat if he’s a tom cat he’s vacillated back and forth in his career as far as you know can he handle these conditions but you know if you’re
Looking for guys who are really good with their short irons he’s been putting a little better lately a very good poet putter as well and he’s got a really good short game you know that might be able to work this week um you know maybe bad weather’s JT will show up maybe the
Guy who went to the players in 2022 when everybody got blown out to see in the really bad wave and he end up shooting I think a 69 anyways one of the best rounds I think anybody’s ever done in those conditions maybe that’s the guy that kind of shows up this week uh
Number two Max home I think he’s gonna be a very popular pick I unfortunately used him in one and done last week I’m kind of regretting that right now because I didn’t get a great performance in Farmers but I think he can be very good at Pebble Beach obviously a really
Good career at Pebble Beach and again fits the mold of the type I’m looking for a guy who can score with the short irons and really good putt on POA and a guy who I feel like can really grind it out in tough weather conditions and get
The job done I think Max Hol is a great oneandone pick you’re not going to be alone in that but I really like him this week but my number one pick uh for my oneandone pick this week is we talked about him and I’m really digging ludvig
Oar this week and that the video of him hitting practice bunker shots out of the snow in Sweden the Dead Winter hitting three Woods as well that has always stuck in my brain I think the kid is tough I think I love his mental makeup
And obviously he has a lot of talent now the one thing that might want to hold me back and it really it originally held me back with leic this week was well his short irons on paper are really bad and that’s true over the last year he’s one
Of the worst players under 150 yards but if you go and look at what he’s been doing over the last two three months or so you’ve seen gradual Improvement I actually went back and looked myself in my old data sheets as far as what he was
Doing from under 150 yards he has made a lot of improvements since about the fall to now in that category and he’s starting to do a little better in there so I think think he’s on the upswing with his short iron game obviously a really good short game great putter as
