Where he was going in as a backup so he’s had all week to prepare and fortunately we got some serious veterans to his left and his right we got Frank ragnow at Center Taylor Decker at left tackle and then obviously Graham Glasgow at Right Guard and pen at right tackle
So that is a weakness because of the 49ers defense because of Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw wanting to get pressure in those single Gap responsibilities that they’re really aggressive with uh in that 49ers defense I I believe they can they can hide Yodi enough and they’re
Going to do that with with really mixing the the the way they run with David Montgomery and jir Gibbs and also with the play action but but you’re right man Yodi in that L guard position he’s got he’s got his work cut out with Eric Armstead Javon hardgrave those are some
Really really talented inside defensive lineman uh I’m not going to lie to you that is the one area of concern but if they shut that down if this offense can provide enough protection for Jared G to make his right reads to uh to allow jir Gibbs and David Montgomery to get
Acceleration and momentum towards the line of scrimmage I like what the offense for the Lions can do today hey they uh Zack Herz is not going to be active today and there’s a reason for that they’re bringing up an extra offensive lineman and of course Jason
Cabinda will be active as well so I was a little disappointed in that but I understand hey man they needed that extra offensive lineman uh just in case am I am I wrong on that Matt no you’re you’re 100% right and I think with uh with Ben Johnson in this
Offense that likes to use two tight end sets often sometimes even more a jumbo Set uh it I sort of expected him to be activated just to be out there in some blocking situations maybe to fool them in the goal line uh in the Red Zone situations but with him out I think
We’re g to see a lot more Dan Skipper I think they’re going to use him in some some funky formation some jumbo formations fker is not a horrible blocker he he’s not the type of pass catching tight end fker is the uh he’s now the number two tight end behind
