So yesterday I broke the news that Terell hattan was a done deal to live golf and now it has been confirmed with an official email that I’ve managed to get my hands on confirming he is joining John Rams team now in this video we’re going to go through the email we’re

Going to go through what tol Hatton has said and we’re also going to go through which by the way I’ve done the maths on this it is staggering to realize the difference that he is going to earn now compared to what he has earned in his

Career to date it is a massive on this now I said this to you yesterday as soon as we had this all confirmed we would create a follow-up video but if you want to get your hands on the latest golf news before anybody else be sure to

Subscribe and turn the Bell that way you can always keep up to date with all the breaking news now I want to go through this email starting off with so as you can see on the screen here this is live Golf Communications and it says this for immediate release January 30th 2024

Legion unveiled as Liv Go’s first expansion team with the signing of Terell Hatton and top amateur Caleb Surat so it’s going to feature Rah Hatton Surat K Vincent to complete the League’s 13th team and then to follow that up if you didn’t see that today you

Saw John Ram unveiling the sort of black and the pink away now I find this quite interesting we’ve seen John RAM have this contract with Callaway and Travis Matthew for the last few years before that he was with Adidas and Taylor Maid now I find it an interesting one if now

He’s wearing his own live golf team’s clothing is this something that’s happened with the fact that he’s no longer wearing Travis Matthew and does that mean he’s no longer going to have a Callaway contract too now let me know what you think on that because we have

Seen the likes of Dustin Johnson have that happen in terms of Adidas not wanting to sponsor it do you think Travis Matthews who are owned by Callaway that is happening to John Ram I think it’s an interesting one because he is still a formidable character within

The game of golf but anyway let’s get into this story further so before we go into what tyl Hatton has said now the reports of the 32-year-old Englishman have been set and speculated for around the last 3 to 4 months it was announced just today and the deal is reported to

Be around a region of 50 to 64 million now hat will join the rder cup teammate and John Ram’s newly formed team that’s a ridiculous money I don’t think we’ll honestly ever find out exactly how much it is but that’s crazy now this is what Hatton said I’m really excited for this

Next chapter to link up with John RAM and Legion and to get started this week in Mexico so we pulled out all the tournament this week on the PJ tour to start his live golf career and I find this a really interesting topic because everybody else that’s gone is being like

Haha you said this now you’ve gone whereas with Hatton he’s never really said anything either way when we had the likes of John Rango he was very vocal against Liv Golf and very Pro PJ tour now I appreciate John Ram is a little bit higher in terms of stature on the PJ

Tour and potentially the golfing Community than Terell Hatton but Terell Hatt is still a top 16 player in the world and to stay quite neutral throughout this whole process is I guess well a credit to him I guess now I said we would go through this money and it’s

Crazy so during his playing career the Englishman has had 10 professional wins to his name the biggest one being the PJ tour highest Accolade in the Arnold Palmer invitation pting breakthrough win in the United States stes came in March 2020 and as pipped fellow livar Mark

Leechman to the title at Bay Hill by a single shot now in doing so he won $1.4 Million worth of prize money now this is really really interesting in total Hatton has won an impressive 17.3 million which is around about $23 million in prize money since debuting on

The PGA tour okay so that’s in his 10 years as a professional and since working on the PJ tour or playing the PJ tour he has earned a staggering 17.3 million now that is in the region of sort of 5 years okay 17.3 million $23 million in one foul swoop his signing

Will be worth more than that I I just told you at the start of this video around 50 million to 60 4 million so in one foul swoop that is being done now it I mean listen to this so each week he’s going to compete for Liv golf’s 19.6

Million pound prize pot which is $25 million at each event now don’t forget he has the individual prizes he also has the team prizes too so you look back at this and I saw a few of the comments yesterday in yesterday’s video saying well why why is he gone why has he done

This he’s cut his back on XY Z well I hate to say it I know money is not everything but sure for these guys in Elite Sportsman they’re making their payday while they can now arguably he’s already got a lot of money but 50 60 million more is

Definitely going to be I don’t get what I’m trying to say here what I’m trying to say is I can understand why he’s not turned it down and I don’t blame him for it because I mean it’s mad and for him to start this week in the mayao

In Mexico I think is a massive move now further talks happening between Liv go and the PJ tour and we’ll short to know more of that soon but as I keep saying Liv golf aren’t going anywhere and they’re strengthening their roster week after week and seeing now to be set for

The 2024 season maybe more will change don’t forget we’ve got these wild cards potentially Anthony Kim signing and as soon as we to have any more breaking news I will keep you up to date with exactly what’s going on

  1. Hes a smart guy, more money less play and they will be able to play majors and ryder cup… the pga tour will have to compromise… pga last tourney was unwatchable…. Btw i never heard adidas spoken as ahhdedas lol

  2. It may just be your terminology Alex – however you did not 'break' the news on Tyrrell Hatton. Just have look at the other media out has been on X for quite a while before you mentioned it. You are really just reporting it like many others.

  3. yeah smartass tyrel also won 21 mil euro's on dp world tour, now some of that is double counted, cause of majors counting for both tours, but still 50 mil is nowhere near the 3 times career earnings

  4. Liv is successful because of it growth to bring an energetic vibe back to golf , a team event is something that people can relate to as well. The shark 🦈 has focused on bring in the right mix of high end talent and development players the liv development series will only get strong for next year with more player want to join the international series and make it onto Liv , and this will lead to more success , Las Vegas is sneak play event with liv using a major event to its advantage, as Cesar you win the mob you win Rome , this what the shark 🦈 is focusing on . Soon city will bid big money for events . And wouldn’t surprise me if Liv make a crack at Augusta golf event

  5. Its a no brainer, end of the day none of us will ever understand on a peasant wage. The guys played all the DP and PGA tour events many times. Ticked the boxes. He's just bee thrown mega money. Take it, play chilled fun golf for a bit, retire or maybe they will in time be allowed back on the PGA tour. With McIlroy changing his tune, it looks likely. LIV golf is what it is, it does zero for developing the game though the pyramid just an oil fun thing. As long as people play golf and the game grows thats all that matters

  6. Personally I don’t see myself ever watching LIV Golf we’ll just have to see if the Tours can actually come to some sort of mutual arrangement I guess.Right now I’m tired/bored about how much these guys are gonna earn. For the regular people in the world the money is out there really!

  7. Rahm’s team is not Legion it is Legion XIII ie Legion 13 at least learn your Roman numerals. You probably don’t even know LIV = 54 as in 54 holes!!

  8. Alex, I can’t believe you sound so surprised that these guys are going for the huge pits of cash being offered. While to the vast majority of us what they have won on the tour makes them wealthy beyond our dreams, who wouldn’t move for an offer of 3 times what you’ve won as a signing on fee.
The amateur who has signed up, it makes even more sense for him, for coming last in a LIV event it is like being in the top 20 at every PGA event from the word go. Being in Rahms team gives him a high percentage chance of finishing high up in the team event, kerrching the dollars will roll in.
How long before LIV tweaks its events/ Calendar and Rory moves?

  9. Watching LIV is more entertaining than the PGA. It's more relatable to those who don't play golf. This is why LIV will overtake the PGA. The majors will be the only relevant events left for PGA to stay solvent.

  10. Lucas Herbert has signed for LIV as well. Haven't seen this been announced but he's on the roster on the LIV website, along with Meronk and Hatton.

  11. Well, what would you do given the opportunity? LIV players will compete in majors. They may not feature in the world( pga) rankings but do they care about that? What will occur is an elite tour and the also rans. It is the average touring pro who deserves some sympathy!!
