Absolutely Goose I’m so tired like I’m so emotionally exhausted from yesterday yeah I’m all right I’m I’m knacked as well to be fair vo has got a little bit better I just sound like sha da last 24 hours to be fair but um now other than that yeah very very good and obviously

It’ll be a good chat today because I know they were a little bit nervous last week on the Pod but yeah all good thank you mate well you saw what I was like before the game mate and just even at half time people come up to me saying

What you I couldn’t speak I could not speak I was that nervous I was shaking like a [ __ ] dog um I spent the start of the week feeling not very confident then middle of the week really confident then Friday night Saturday night Sunday I was thinking oh my God like I am I’m

I’m a bag of nerves I know Jord who’s joined alongside us today too you were feeling uh you were feeling the neres too weren’t you mate I’ve I’ve Just Seen The Script many times before and I think um I go back to that covid game where

They com and beat us at mol andu and I still I’m adamant that that Alvin team was worse than the one we played on the weekend and still got a result against arguably a better W side and uh yeah look I had no confidence at all um even

Though you know on paper we should win and you know I think I think we won a caner in the end to be honest with you I think it was very easy but we’ll get on that in a little bit like Derby games you know form and and

Everything else goes out the window doesn’t it and um yeah hard to talk of the scruffiest of Scruffy one nil wins and get out of there and it wasn’t too similar to that but yeah just delighted that we got the job done now and they can shut up about everything else now

Got rid of their whole for whoo and we move on yeah I mean it was coming up to 10,000 days that wolves hadn’t won at the hall forns and I I mean if you look at it in another way we’re now what is it 12 years on beating 12 years on

Beating that in the trophy gab us yeah um but let’s talk about the buildup Dave obviously you come to you come to mine didn’t you and we got a taxi down I mean it all it all started on my estate didn’t it when we got in someone else’s

Got into someone else we got in someone else’s taxi um two taxies pulled up when the group of lads come out and he and Dave just make sure it’s the right taxi and it weren’t so we got out and these lad walks across and obviously they were

Going the game he’s like you wolves or albian and I was like wolves he’s like we’re albian we were like [ __ ] up [ __ ] smash was up yeah like like C to C to Chen in the morning [ __ ] so it so it all started from there Dave but how are you feeling because I

Know we went to the pub a little bit beforeand and I was I was [ __ ] myself I I was all right I think I don’t know I I felt quietly confident all week and I didn’t mean that in a disrespectful way to our being because I knew they’d give us a good game

Regardless but I felt confident that we would get the job done so even there really like when we you know we’d gone to your local and it was an West Brom Boozer albian stronghold man there were albian fans there but there there no trouble or such really we obviously we

Just kept our heads down we didn’t give it the big in I mean I didn’t I mean we were with my friends vaugh and will I don’t think we would have had much backing off them PIR no disrespect to them either so I’ll put this out about all three of you

You so no we had um you know a couple of drinks to C the NES M had probably uh you know janary yeah emphatically um but yeah it it good way to start the morning I suppose yeah chei macky’s breakfast on route for me as well yeah Dave was on

The uh The Latte Chasers down down the RO but geord you watched it from home any how are you feeling pretty much what was the coverage like um coverage is fine I think I mean I was good it I couldn’t go I was still hoping that someone would uh cough up a ticket

To me like I said I a few options even our our late and well- loved Finn Morris who we haven’t seen for a very long time uh even almost coughed up a ticket last minute but uh no dice so um no know slightly GED you know to be at home um

Watching it but yeah the nerves are still there and and you know you’re in a household where my m an albian fan and stuff as well and you know Dad is as well so I thought I just don’t want the stick like I remember what it was like a

Few years ago in the co I thought I don’t want the stick so um yeah say just nervous I I was on the sports St at Mugs of T rather than the beers I thought I can’t bring myself to think at after 10 you know at home I think that’s you know

Yeah problems so uh just crack One open afterwards so um yeah it was uh CED one out afterwards more like one one of them a bit later on as well yeah yeah to be fair i’ not had a a drink in over a month and the the the beers try something else then

Mman that be DED about an [Laughter] hour no no not January try again try again [Laughter] tomorrow to be fair went it went straight straight to my head but start starting off Dave that first half I thought look we know whis Brom were going to come at us as you said on last

Week’s pod Dave come in your face um and they uh that they did and I thought with that slow that slow start day I thought oh God it’s going to be one of those afternoons yeah I mean we couldn’t really get our foot on the ball and have

Good spells of possession and again they never I don’t think all throughout the whole afternoon I think they had one chance second half yeah second half where they put it over the ball yeah but throughout the game really I didn’t feel that threatened by them you know they

Had a couple of half chances some real soft headers that went straight at Joe sayr but it was a little bit of a concern there were once or twice where they beat beat uh I think doc predominantly Sam even you know got I think the issue with the Sam thing was I

Don’t think Neto was was at his best yesterday I obviously he scored the opening goal but Netto didn’t really give SoMo the the protection so I think Sam got spor once or twice I thought if I continue doing this down the down the wings like this we could be in a bit of

Trouble but felt other than that we dealt with things quite well and it was just matter of time really I think whoever got the first goal was going to go on to win the game and it’s quite important that obviously we we managed to to get that just before halftime had

A couple of chances Jordan know Wallace Wallace’s header which in the ground I thought was like an absolute sitter but the think I was that like Zone zoned in on like every every time albian got into like our half so nervous but looking back it it

Was a pretty poor effort bit of a half chance really wasn’t it no real Pace on the ball far if you remember yeah no yeah it was um a little bit the ball was a little bit behind him and I say it wasn’t it wasn’t it was nothing really

Um they got in like said like Dave said they got in a couple times round you know at wide against but i s I think that was a part of the game plan from from a defensive point of view from from us as well because you know they’re

Putting balls in the Box again you know with like I don’t think thomasan is over six foot is he I think he’s quite a small guy um with Dawson totting kman we should be you know we should be winning that every day of the week and we did to

Be honest with you and yeah there was a the first 15 minutes I thought we were extremely slow out the blocks um and I don’t really feel like we settled into the game until neto’s goal um at all so I mean that was the big changing point

And as soon as that happened I felt like we played in Reverse pretty much for most most of the rest of the game I thought we pretty much Bost it and cruise the game for the rest of it yeah we weren’t very good at all to be honest

I thought I thought that overall probably Alan had the the better chances I don’t think they were the better team but I think they probably created more clearer chance clearer chances than wolves um but Dave let’s talk about that Netto goal first and foremost not sure

What the albian players trying to do in put it on right on Jed Wallace’s thought but he could I mean doc read it like a book didn’t he um and he did ex straight I know he gets a lot of stick and obviously I’m not he not say he’s not

His biggest fan but you know i’ write a nor a lot higher but he’s read that exceptionally well Dave and to be able to compos and set Netto free I think the whole ground knew as soon as Netto got onto that ball something was going to happen here and you ordered alvan fans

On on the videos go take him to the corner not sure that’s quite how it works and then you got Al fantaine you know what he wants to do wants to cut in inside I like it’s it’s all right saying that but it’s stopping him that’s a the

OD part yeah I think I think the one thing with Doc is that I know sometimes he’s sort work right getting back into his position after you know defending a Counterattack isn’t great but I think his defensive awareness is very good defensive positioning can be very good

At times as well and I think that was a prime example of that yesterday and um started off that move and I think that was sort of the one way wars were were going to take the lead really you know we’ve seen this season we play our best football on the Counterattack and

Whenever we had the possession Al being sort of parked sort of 10 11 Men Behind the ball which you would have expected either way um so that was really the first chance we had to Counterattack and you know put you know try and have a proper effort on goal and thankfully we

Took that chance um I think the thing with Netto as well he wasn’t obviously he burst forward but he wasn’t even at his quickest I don’t thinking the bit toight he looked tired yeah so I didn’t think throughout the game he was at his best and he wasn’t

Hitting his top speed either but still I mean there’s some fantastic videos of obviously the footage ITV put out the FA Cup put out but there so many so many Clips going around of fan footage as well one from behind the goal one from the Albin fans nearer to the walls fans

Um and obviously the little chair when they manag to get half a tackle in and the Finish it’s it’s a I think the keeper will be slightly disappointed but I think it’s so uh you know Netto hits it across himself across the body and Keepers almost shift his weight

Completely onto the other foot so um yeah great finish obviously great celebration as well and Tommy D telling them to calm down Netto uh fingers in his ears and yeah it’s um great way to take the lead and good timing as well for WS because they had to go in they

Had to go in at half time ahead really I think one of the the best kind of noises in football is when you’ve got a penalty and the keeper saves it and and they put in the rebound and that’s what it like reminded that that’s what it reminded me

Of um Jord but maybe the keeper should have done better but I think it’s a smart finish from Netto but that celebration I was with in the first AR because there was more than 4,000 wolves fans in that end by the way it was it was heaving it was horrible had to move

Second half because I couldn’t even stand up um but I was with a couple of people who worked at wolves who working in around around the club who’ been given the the day off which was obviously very very very good for them um and in the first half Netto went over

To tell take a corner and um obviously all fans are giving him loads and they said like that’s what he needs because like he he needs to know what that he needs to get riled up basically be for him to perform and Jord I think that celebration probably sums it

Up well the best way to uh reti or answer any sort of criticism is just put the ball in the back and it that’s what Hur the most isn’t it and um yeah like I said again like I don’t I feel like he was average at best yesterday in Neo but

The one chance and the one opportunity he had to put the ball in the back of the net he did um and yeah look I think no matter what happened now um or what happens in the future when it comes to you know Neto CA even Gary O’Neal to

Some extent um the etch themselves in F claw now for w fans um they’ll never take that away from him and uh yeah it’ll always be the replay the goal that’s going to get replayed and even Montage Netto if he ever leaves the club which you know might be this summer

Hopefully not you know that’ll be for walles fans that’ll be probably top maybe even top one Pedro memory um so yeah look I think um he took it extremely well and I’ve seen a few people saying the goalkeeper for Alvin should do a bit better but I think

It’s just that is it the ball that quick when it’s sort of bundled over was it can’t was it could made the tackle or Swift wasn’t it I got the toe to it I just don’t was yeah he didn’t do a lot but he was

Playing and um yeah I just think he just hit it back into the reverse Corner in the goal he didn’t have much chance it was a real smart finish yeah it was great but to be fair I felt like the wols end was pretty quiet up until then

I think there was a lot of nervous tension I was struggling to sing struggling to get my words out um I was that nervous but Dave started the second half I thought the second half for walles before obviously the goal in the incident I felt like we controlled it a

Bit more and Gary O’Neal may have um may have put a bit of a rocket up the ass one of the one of the phrases I picked up on as well which I like from O’Neal is he called it a tactical fix not a change but a fix almost like okay

That’s sorted which which I quite like to have picked up on but I felt like walls were probably the better team in in the second half overall I think I think it showed the quality in the two teams just throughout the game and I know I know you mentioned slightly earlier Alvin

Probably had the better S clearcut chances but I don’t necessarily think they did really because I can’t remember like I said other than that chance I put over the bar earlier I don’t think they worried us and troubled us too much but ultimately you know I think the Premier

League quality showed because we had two you know two clear-cut chances or three clearcut chances because I think kuny ad one towards the end as well and and we took him we were deadly and that’s the difference and I know it’s against the championship side that’s the difference

Between Wars of this year and Wars of previous Seasons that yeah we might have had chances but we didn’t take him whereas on Sunday we had four shots on target I think and two of them we put into the back of the net you know so one

Was was a quite a smart sa and the exactly so I I think you’re right the second half it was a lot more comfortable I think that was the key and it I was intrigued in this to see how we would come out in the second half would

Be part 10 11 Men Behind the ball which Gary O’Neil hasn’t ever done really I think I mentioned it after the Everton game I think under Nuno Bruno lar and even ler tegy you go one n up two n up at that game half time you’ll put 11 M

On the ball and w didn’t have to do that yesterday just took control of the game I think you could easily tell who was who was the Premier League team out of the two and it was just a matter of time really you know I don’t think it was

Ever going to be a pretty game I spoke to a few walls fans and they’re quite disappointed with with how we played but like I said we didn’t have to get out first or second gear and um I think the main aim yesterday was to go in get the

Win and and get back home I think the players did well not to get sucked into the occasion and because it could have quite easily B over there’s quite a few meaty tackles especially Wallace won on doy and and to be fair I think the ref

Did well to keeper Le don’t it thought the referee was uh was excellent yeah yeah top I mentioned it before we had him Everton was the last game and I think he did quite well there as well Anda W both yeah no but I think in terms

Of the referee and yesterday as well he could there would have been a lot of referees there was some early tackles as well where a lot of referees would have given away some cheap yellow cards but I think he did quite well to to you know

To do that and even it was before even the the trouble started and Tommy do was having stuff thrown at him and then that’s when the big tackle started coming in so um I think the referee did quite well to control the tempers and tensions as much as he could really I

Think walls are quite happy for Alin to have the ball as well because we seem to be most recently very good at controlling the game without the ball and people might say all dep part the bus whatnot but you’ve seen that graph floating around on Twitter this morning

But we’ve said it for the last like few weeks like in terms of like defending the Box walls are up there and I know you said it Jord um a little little bit ear walls up there and I think they they’re comfortable I know when fellows

Came on he he ran at SM a little bit and I do like Tom fellows I know I spoke about him on the last pod but it just felt comfortable I think that a Sant chance Jord um if that goes one1 it’s a completely different game but I think

After after that it it it just felt a bit comfortable yeah it was it and there was there was um without being too disrespectful to our uh neighbors there was a big class I think there was a big golfing class honestly I really do and I think like I say you can control

Football games without the ball and that’s what we did I feel we we’re very good at it we’ve seen it all season we we set traps and we spring on on on the opposition when they’re vulnerable and and that’s how exactly how the K’s goal come in we we set a trap they’re

Slightly probably their defensive line slightly higher than they want to be and it’s just one ball and through and it was game over as soon as that went in and yeah I think if Santi does score that chance obviously it’s a different game it’s 1-1 and all the momentum and

The crowd would have got gone up but yeah I think we did very well to control the home crowd as well in terms of until obviously until the second goal went and we know what everything happened but like we we we kept we didn’t let them ever really get

Sustained amount of pressure or even a sustained amount of atmosphere going where you know they were they were putting crosses in crosses in or winning Corner after corner or you know it just felt like say really comfortable really I feel I feel like wolves just took the

Pace out of the game as well whenever they felt like was getting a bit momentum like even at the back he got like d like rolling the ball with a top of his foot and like w signs are getting a bit frustrated but it’s just like just

One the up away from moment just just calm down especially against albian um but Dave that could your goal lovely little ball through from kilman wasn’t it um looked I mean I thought in the ground he looked offside but don’t have the luxury of the AR

Thankfully I know we said uh on the morning of the day that no look no doubt will probably get [ __ ] over by a decision it’s like really obvious and there’s no V but it’s uh it is it is a good finish from CA but I think the the

Thing that we got to talk about the most is is that celebration he just he just knew if he scored he was going to he was going to do something yeah he felt like he was almost in slow motion in the ground because I remember as the ball

Went through the keeper just the position was so weird he just seemed like he was all over the place I think he came I I honestly think if he rushed out he would have made the chance a lot more difficult for C but he sort of came

Off his line and stopped and obviously he just slotted it in between his legs and you knew there was going to be something I think Kya is the most almost charismatic out of these people you know he’s he’s out there and he’s emotional guy it yeah yeah so I think that showed

The celebration I could see he was doing something from I se but I couldn’t quite see what it was until the the end of the game it was it’s quite a funny celebration obviously depends depends on how you translate does he mean there’s walls fans everywhere or does he mean

This state you know this is our our place this is our Stadium but um yeah no brilliant finishing I’m just glad again a lot a lot went through him um I think if you were a neutral watching that game you could tell that matteas K is a player with some serious quality but

Still not one of his better performan in in the war share which says a lot so uh the fact that you know taking his chances and we’re starting to see him get on the score sheet goal contributions still is a is a good bonus for me yeah I thought he was I thought

He was a little bit off it I thought most most were a little bit off it to be honest thought du had a really good game though um and he really Rose to the occasion but let’s talk about that crowd trouble Dave loads of rumors going

Around whether it was um a walls fan in the home end someone spitting at Carl Bartley’s family there’s also the rumor that someone in the home and that dropped a FIV and um but it looks like that there’s walls fans in the home and which begs a

Question why on Earth if you’re an album fan would you sell your ticket to a walls fan I see this from both sides really I think it that’s the main one really and Aban fans of moaning about it but ultimately you know you saw how they

Were doing their thing um you know with with tickets um there’s some people saying that that was to do with the staff and the players families of of West Brom um so that’s obviously something that they’re going to have to investigate um but as a walls fan if I

Knew I was going to a ground especi say even if we were playing I think if you’re in the opposite end you just don’t celebrate full stop if a even if Burnley came to Molen you and a Burnley fan celebrated in the South Bank he’s probably gonna get battered and you

Would expect the same if you had to Turf more and started celebrating after all scored there it’s just what it is so when you’re do it in a black Derby you’re asking for trouble the issue I’ve got with it is yeah you’re annoyed you’re going to have about 30 40 50

People around there peed off it’s then you’ve got the other 20 30 BLS running from the other end of the the stadium to try and get across because I think there’s a massive scuffle then you got the players involved and then you got the idiots down by the walls fans then

Trying to run at the walls fans so it just got blown out proportion and I think it’s been way too overhyped by mainstream media like they made it so bigger an issue than it was dark ages it’s not it’s not a problem in football anymore no but like ITV obviously

Switched the camera like turn the cameras away from what was going on for the most part um i’ like I had a couple of radio stations messaged me saying can you give your thoughts like do you think this is going to be ongoing issue safety trouble this this and this I’ve heard on

BBC WM today someone suggests that every time these two play the away fans should be banned again as if it was the walls fans fault so I genuinely think other than obviously the going to be the odd walls fan that was in the home end the walls fans was like ridiculously well

Behaved and I honestly you know with our track record I thought we’ get at least one [ __ ] run on the pitch or a p some somebody try and run on the pitch at the fulltime we saw but no one did and uh I think fair play to walles fans

For that but from what I understand wolves weren’t happy with the statement that West Brom put out either so um I think the fa will look at this and I don’t think walls will be in any trouble I think it’s going to be mainly West Brom but like I said towards the start

And I’ve said to many people Fair play to the police and the stewards cuz I think they handled that as well as they could have done to be fair yeah West Midland’s police earned their coin you Sunday but I thought when that albian fan the one with the white Air who would

Um the old fell who would would in I send in another video he kick someone in the back of the that was the walls fan so that Wan was there but again the police and St all ran him got it under control yeah you’re going to have a few

You know flicking the V at him or whatever but then he comes in a little fly kick and then I don’t know what he’s was that blow don’t know if he thought [ __ ] I’m going to get arrested so I might as I just run on the pitch but you

Couldn’t have got he’s the type of guy you know when they’re talking to walls fans on like national news and they get the scruffiest fan that was that must have been West brom’s alternative yeah it’s uh I thought when he ran on the pitch I thought oh God

Someone’s going to come out the A and like choose your fighter yeah and it’s going to be like a there’s going to be a dingdong in the middle of FR no no one did but I I mean I’ve had it before before when I’ve been even last season

Everton um last home game of the season where they scored like 94 minute 95th and or some like that and someone jumped up in front of me and I was raging and I’d like grabbed the bloke and like tried to Chuck him down the stairs and

Sh’s got him out but like he do react like that so I understand like people getting frustrated but then when you’ve got like three or 400 tough guys running from the bromy road end one that was the stupidest bit like I said if if if something happened like say I’m in the

South Bank say something happened in the middle of the Steve Ball um I going to Who the hell’s going to run over there to try and get involved just let the stewards and the police do their job like what what were you trying to

Achieve I I had I had a lot of mates obviously Al and fans who went to the game quite a few of them in the Millennium cor Millen Millennium corner so if you’re looking at from it looking at the pitch from the away end that corner on the right hand side yeah we’re

All giving it loads and M mate said again I don’t think he’d have any reason to lie they were all saying get on the pitch and get the game abandoned I I wouldn’t have been surprised getting abandoned because I’ll have to replay it they just could not they could not deal

With the fact that the only thing that they really got over us yes the 51 but in terms of like recent history that was slipping away from the grasp and they couldn’t deal with it Jord no no that’s it like you say it’s almost clutching at

Straws and I saw that there was the uh there was that Twitter page that did the day since wolves won at a hall for 9,996 no I think they’ve changed it for day yeah in the league and then I saw another play saying Dave since walles beat West Brom

At the mall in you and all this sort of stuff so look the clutch and it straws at the end of the day like there’s a there’s a there’s a big difference between both clubs at the moment like on and off the pitch um you know we’re in

Different leagues for one we’re in different trajectories if they don’t go up this year I mean I’ve got a a lot of some of my best mates are Alvin fans as well genuinely if they hav got this year they’re [ __ ] like they’re abs absolutely [ __ ] when it comes to money

And this this takeover should help them or could help them but if it falls through M they’re in they’re in dire straight and you know I I know it took 12 years to play them again at the hall for ones but no in all seriousness we

Don’t draw them in a cup game it could be 12 years again till we play him in a league game because they ain’t getting up anytime soon and I think I don’t see us getting relegated anytime soon either so um yeah like you say Matt like that’s all they had

That that little that little scrap and that little piece of history and they they will keep lording that beat us 51 so [ __ ] what doing it at the end of the game they’re trying to do it at the end of the game as Welles honestly who cares like you know

Like you get that argument and then you say oh we played in Europe and they’re like oh well that’s all you got over us well we’ve got a lot more over you as well actually but yeah like you know we don’t we don’t [ __ ] need to talk

About no exactly that and like I say it’s I I I want to play them every year I think like I think I said the Pod before like I love the D I love the excitement about it I love what happens with it but I mean after what happened

On the weekend like next time Wolves play albian West Midland’s police are gonna throw the book and try and try and get play behind closed doors or no no way fans or and you know they will and they’ve got evidence to say that but like you said already they think the

Wolves fans are exemplary I don’t think there’s any arrests in the ground wolves fans and all the trouble stem from the home end so if it comes to fines or punishments by the fa I can only see it going one way there’s no possible way they can fine or penalize wolves for how

How the crowd trouble and disturbances went on the weekend the thing is though like the police were were excellent in terms of managing it and but that little that Millennium corner to the right hand side like for a large part of well when it start first started kicking

Off all the copers ran down to the broy road Halford uh bromy Road Halford’s line and then once the police got R to the right hand side that’s when the ALB fans started kicking off it’s like they could have quite easily ran to the A and

I’m not saying like you know we’re a big we’re big Hardman but could have quite easily just they could have just run over but they didn’t wating for the police to come so I don’t know a lot of to be fair a lot of it were kids though

A lot of it like 15 16 17 year olds giving it the biger on the first black country der I’ve said a lot of it the words lot of adults as well there and I was just like it 20 minutes after and I was still they

Was still there but it was a little bit like brag mat sometimes you know brag before the game like youve got a group of people and one person the back pushes and you shoving about 10 people forward so then they were pushing into the police and to be fair to the police they

Only had to use the force when they were getting like Al fans physical with him well this one BL got in a policeman’s face and the policeman just pushed him and I’ve never seen the someone go flying as as much as that and the guy I saw after about five minutes was

Apologizing and trying to hug all the police when that um but I just thought at that point I was they like they’re all still stood in that section like just go and sit down like I know you want to put it on your Snapchat or your
