I know that we ALL FEEL the loss of Coach Saban…However, he has done above and beyond for the state, university, community, and our fanbase!!! I'd rather he go out healthy/ on his own terms and able to still contribute to what he built! No need for him to chase players, NIL, the portal, and the daily grind at his age! We will forever be grateful for everything he built. I'm confident that he will still contribute to the PROCESS and the dynasty he built!!! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
Like every single Alabama fan, i was devastated. I have to say reading the comments from fans from all over giving Daban nad respect, really warms my heart. We all usually talk trash to each other, but somehow, this brought out the best in everyone, well except my brother in law hah!.
All joking aside, im really impressed with the love and respect he has garnered from across the US. Also, i think DeBoer was a hand picked candidate!! RTR
When I heard the news about Saban, I said the same thing I said when I got the phone call that my dad died suddenly: “Is this a joke?”😢
I have a theory, just hear me out. In my opinion the Iron Bowl game had something to do with his retirement. After being tormented for the kick six for a decade, Alabama/Saban finally got back at them with the Nightmare at Jordan Hare last min comeback win. To win like that was the absolute best and the Georgia/SEC win was just a bonus. That’s how I’d want to go! Roll Tide!

My wife is a Tennessee grad GO VOLS! But it's been a pleasure to watch Saban coach the Tide. He's molded and shaped young men through football to be fine fellow citizens and professional football players. Very seldom do your rivals and competitors admit that "Yeah, he's the best ever" but he is. Perhaps someday the trophy will be called The Saban Trophy because in the modern era of college football we will probably never see another program like the one he put together at Alabama and never see another coach like Nick Saban. Go Vols and Go SEC.
