Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the channel an interesting video for you today something that has surfaced over the last really like 48 hours in my window something that’s been pushed to me recently I’ve seen a lot of comments and a lot of DMS so I’m diving into it

Comment stuff about her in her vide she recently had collabs with Nelly Corda and I believe Brook Henderson as part of her tailormade deal which is super cool to see and a lot of you say that she’s a great influence for your young daughters and stuff coming up in golf so we love
That we love to see it we want to grow the game of golf I don’t know I haven’t watched a lot of her content um it’s just not for for me personally but that doesn’t mean it’s not serving an incredible purpose in the space and I’m very thankful for Content that does
Serve those types of purposes cuz we need stuff that’s different and if she’s offering something that’s different getting young girls into the game that’s amazing I mean if you know anything about the YouTube golf audience you know that all of us especially male creators have an audience that’s like 98% male I
Don’t think it’s my fault I don’t think I’m doing anything I think it’s just dudes choose to watch dudes like golf choose to watch dudes on YouTube golf I don’t know I don’t know what it is but that’s just a reality so seeing a Creator targeting a different
Demographic that’s awesome so as far as I’m aware from what I know of very clean cut like not like abrasive not swearing not doing anything weird like just playing golf uh I think very good very good at golf and wants to play at a high level of golf I don’t know about like
LPGA like dreams or anything but definitely just taking golf very seriously and bringing the social media along doing a pretty good job at it from what I’ve seen and I haven’t really had much conversation with her I talked to her maybe I don’t know almost a year ago
Now maybe a little less than a year ago uh just giving her recommendations for an editor I think when she was starting to get into YouTube I gave her a couple editors I had worked with but that had been my only communication with Gabby in the past and so again didn’t know too
Much about her but in the last few days I’ve had I’ve seen a couple messages couple long comments one huge one on my last video I’ll put up on screen and it caught my attention and it was just basically it described the whole situation that she had this whole in one
Challenge going on she started I guess whatever her day one was saying that for every new subscriber she gained until she made a hole in one she was going to give away one penny to not one penny to each subscriber but she’s going to add one penny for every subscriber she
Gained to a prize pool and that prize pool was then going to be randomly selected and given to a random follower after she made a hole in one so interesting idea there’s the value out of like if you follow her then you have the the potential to win right we’ve
Done things like this on the channel before we’ve done giveaways where it’s all you have to do to win is be subscribed with like goat Lane shoes and things of that nature to me it’s a very easy way to just like make sure you have
To actually be a fan and a viewer of mine in order to win CU I’m not just giving it away to random trolls on the internet no offense but anyways this was obviously probably on that vein and if you followed you had the incentive that you could potentially win this pot of
Money so okay great she’s doing this there’s the indefinite nature of how long this hole-in one could take it could go on forever I mean it’s like a what one in 12,000 odds or something like that of making a hole in one so I mean we’ve seen a lot of hole in one
Challenges recently it can be done but it’s tough and I think because of that there’s a lot of people who are like this could take forever this prize pool could just keep going up up and up she could have to give away she keeps her word on this hundreds of thousands of
Dollars potentially which you never know in I think 2 weeks she gained like 160,000 subscribers I think on her last video which is obviously the one we’re going to talk about day 14 I think she said she had 158,000 subscribers gain which amounted to $2,210 that was in the prize pool but
This is where things got interesting in this video from the comment that you guys had seen and I went back and I watched some of them a lot of her prior videos seem to be on the t- boox of a hole on a golf course a par three hole
On a golf course this 14th in my opinion was clearly not at least it wasn’t a like 18-hole golf course if anything it was a par three golf course and there’s a lot of questions on whether it was even on a t- boox or not but I think all
The divots beside her would to me indicate that it was in fact a tea box of some sort so that was like one thing that was different apparently there was an individual standing by the green that hadn’t been there in any of the previous videos but the thing that really set all
The alarm Bells off is in this video she made the hole in one in the 14th day on the 14th day she did her like intro Spiel made the hole in one celebrated whatever said in 72 hours they going to give away the money but in that video
Also on top of the things I just mentioned there were people claiming that obviously there was multiple divots by where she hit the ball from and the green was absolutely littered with unrepaired pitch marks and I mean littered like everywhere you look there was Pitch marks from balls that were
Unrepaired the difference to me weren’t as like alarm belly because I mean there’s just divots like divots out of T box it’s normal they were all filled in there wasn’t that many of them I didn’t think so that didn’t set off too many alarm Bells but the amount of pitch
Marks on the green that was the alarm bells that are off so I did want to look into this because it’s interesting and when you do something like this as a Creator we’ve talked about it with good good and their Par Four hole in ones the
Risk for good good of Faking a a par for Hoin one just to have a video that gets a million views and get mentioned on Golf Digest and all the stuff that happens really it’s like 42 hours of Fame and then it kind of just goes away
People don’t forget about it but it’s it doesn’t matter after 42 hours the benefit of that 42 hours is not worth your reputation on YouTube or whatever social media platform in my opinion I don’t think it’s worth anywhere near that you’re credibility as a Creator whatever when you do these giveaways
There’s a lot at stake and you want to make sure they’re done right so that’s where a lot of the accusations and the things have come out with this situation so what I wanted to do here is not just come on here and give my opinion on this
I wanted to actually try to reach out to Gabby cuz she had had replied to like some comments but mainly to me around all the pitch marks on the green person standing by the green some of these things that were a little different so I reached out to her directly and I’m
Going to share that conversation with you so I reh I said hey getting a ton of messages about the hole in one of yours and just and I went just went and looked any details you’d like to share about it address any of the things people are
Saying and then I followed up with saying I’m seeing a lot of like hit multiple shots in a row that day person by the green was throwing balls back etc etc not sure if you want to talk about it but if you do I’d love to have your
Take to share so sometimes obviously in these situations maybe they don’t want to share um but she replied pretty much instantly she read it almost instantly and sent me a big reply so we’re going to go through that was expecting the challenge to go a lot longer obviously
The main goal was to do something that no one else was doing and do something fun for a random follower we will always try and tie in the people following me with cool giveaways Etc I can say as a creator that one of the coolest things
About being a Creator is being able to use the advantages we get whether it be free stuff or whatever and and repay it back to you guys I love doing that that’s why I enjoy doing the shoe giveaways and all that but let me be very very very very very very very very
Very very clear one of the hugest benefits of doing those type of giveaways is usually when you tie it to some sort of like like follow tag three friends you gain a bunch of subscribers or followers that’s why we do it I’m not just doing it to be nice like I am I
Want I could do other things to get subscribers that don’t involve giving you guys stuff but the reality of it is I’m getting a lot more out of it than you a lot you know 158,000 subscribers on Instagram that was I think before this she had like maybe 200 that was
Like that basically almost doubled her her follower count in like 2 weeks so just grain of salt us as creators when we do this stuff yes it is nice to give back but boy do we have selfish motives and if any Creator tries to deny that they’re crazy so anyway not saying she’s
Doing that but I’m just giving context all of the content is 100% authentic I film my own tournaments Etc the whole goal is presenting real Golf and being 100% authentic kind of giving back some days I hit a few shots some days I hit one shot the idea was never to need to
Make a hole in one in a full 18 hole round it was just a fun challenge that we kept doing in different variations and then she said that was my mom on the green so far as I’m aware she didn’t set super strict parameters around like yes
It has to be one of the four par 3s on a regulation 72 yard golf 72 par 72 Golf Course from X yardage Plus on one shot only and whatever yeah I get a lot of of you guys are upset about the term hole
In one cuz the term hole in one is the most hotly contested thing ever in golf where it’s like that means you have to have only played the whole once that day and you can only hit one shot if it’s actually a hole in one and part three
Courses don’t count and whatever like so I know there’s a lot of debate around it but I don’t think she set any parameters before this so anyway and then the mom on the green thing it doesn’t really address the question I guess of like it was that person there because they were
Just throwing all your balls back to you after you hit them and they didn’t go in so there wouldn’t be balls in the green in case one went in it doesn’t ask that but anyway the shot was 100% in okay I don’t deny that at all like I I watch
The watching the video I to me I think it would be harder maybe not harder but it seems harder to zoom in have her hit the shot zoom in and then have someone somehow above the zoom just God dropping the ball onto the green and then also
Still having enough spin to jump back into the hole in my opinion I think she hit the ball off the ground and it flew in the air and it landed and it went in that that hole that’s what I think the giveaway was given to to a complete
Random follower that I’ve never spoken to or met there was a lot of uh people commenting and saying that um she like gave it to a friend or whatever listen $2,000 is not a lot of money to most creators especially ones with hundreds of thousands of followers I’m just
Telling you right now that is not an amount of money that would be at all a big deal for a Creator like Gabby I just don’t think it would certainly not enough to require like just giving it to a friend to keep it in the bank account
Like that’s I don’t think they gave I think they actually gave that money away if anyone is suspecting any sort of cheating or that we didn’t want to give away a lot more money trust me I would have loved it to go to 20 or 30,000 which I mean 158,000 followers equal
$2,000 you can do the math that’d be millions and millions and millions of followers so I’m sure she would have I’m I’m sure I that anyone wait until you see the next one we do okay I don’t know what that means but all right so I replied appreciate the info I don’t
Think there’s any doubt at least in my mind that the shot itself went in the main questions I’m getting SL seeeing are of if that particular day were all around the divot SL pitchmark so basically trying to get to the bottom cuz it didn’t in my mind didn’t really
Answer the question of like well okay like I do believe you that that shot went in the air and in the hole but why all the pitch marks and all that kind of stuff so sure it’s a part three course laughing face tons of people coming through hitting shots unfortunate people
Doubt and question even when you’re trying to do good and get back okay so a couple things number one a par three course being torn up I number one admitting it was a par three course a lot of people had questions about that it look short so makes sense
But it was a part three course tons of people coming through hitting shots you better believe it like my local Municipal par three courses here in Vancouver trash like most of them trash like they’re just and it it’s just impossible cuz there’s people coming around with like a six-pack jeans on and
Like a wedge and like they it’s just it’s destroyed so the Mount of pitchmark I guess you could chalk that up to that theoretically potentially again that would be my I’m going to give my whole kind of take on this at the end but that would be my only sticking point is just
The amount of pitch marks looks sus but again she’s totally right a par three mun course absolutely there could be a lot of that uh the unfortunate that people doubt even when you’re trying to do good and give back I get it I I can’t I can’t agree
That this is like a charitable cause I just can’t because it’s like you’re gaining so so so much as a Creator so much more value like literally you can go and charge like double what you were charging for a brand deal now that you have double the amount of followers and with 250,000
Followers on Instagram you could be making like I don’t know 5 10 grand to mention a products so now you’re just making 20 grand and then you can do that as many times as you want it’s not it’s not giving like it is giving back it is we’re giving something back to her
Creators I’m not trying to harp on her at all here I’m just I’m just giving my trying to be unbias here and just give the Creator take that like you know it’s not raising money for charity with zero gain for us as a Creator like it’s in a

The same thoughts as I did with the good get hole in one which is that like the risk of it being found out that it was fake but even then in this case like it’s hard to even Define what fake would be like even if she she admits that she
Hit she has videos I did videos where she hit three shots in a row like there were and like people were commenting we agreed on only one but like no you didn’t like and it’s her show and she can do whatever she wants I think the
Thing was like how long is it going to take me at the end of the day I think maybe next time if she does this she communicate the challenge is I’m going to try to put a ball hit a ball off the ground in the air land in a hole that’s
It that’s the only stipulation that’s all I have to do how long is that going to take I think giving the ambiguity of saying hole in one that’s where a bunch of people are putting all their spins on it being like it has to be on a
Regulation par 72 of course it has to be on a par 3 above 150 yards like all these things people want to put on a legit hole-in one people are putting on this the reality is in my opinion even if and she didn’t admit to this and I’m
Not saying she did this but even if she was at that par three course and hit 100 shots in a row and the 100th went in it it it it kind of isn’t against the rules because she got to make up the rules and she didn’t clearly Define the
Rules so I I I still wouldn’t really say it’s like fake or falter or anything like that and I believe her when she said they 100% gave away the money to one random subscriber cuz I’m telling you it’s not it’s not an amount of money that I would think that she was trying
To fake if it got up to $100,000 then maybe I’d be like I’m a little suspicious but $2,000 I’m telling you no big deal that’s easy money to give away so at the end of the day I don’t think this is fake because fake is hard to
Define I also just think that like this is is a Creator an upand cominging Creator who overall is doing immense good in the community like inspiring young people to take up the game especially females which are obviously an underrepresented demographic in both YouTube golf and then in just like the
Highlight sense of golf in general in my opinion at least and you definitely just don’t see as many women out on the golf course in general at least where I live as you do men this is a good thing this is going to grow our game and she’s
Doing something that’s really good and is more important than what I’m doing and more important than what other a lot of other YouTube golfers are doing so I would give her immense amount of Grace no matter what she’s also young she’s come up quick she’s learning like I know
She has her parents and probably a team behind her but listen I would not hold her feet to the fire about this I wouldn’t I think it’s fine I think she’s learned I think going forward like I said just Define the rules a little more clearly maybe and you can avoid some of
The headaches but at the same time like everyone’s going to forget about this like everyone’s going to forget about this in no time at all and it’s just going to be fine and at the end of the day she’s making good content that makes people happy and is inspiring young

Oh my God every video I’ve watched of Gabbys portrays an intelligent, smart, enthusiastic young lady. For anybody to question ethics and honesty is ridiculous. Lighten up your morons she’s a kid having fun. What’s your kid doing? there’s a question to put your energy into you.

A hole in one is a hole in one no matter how it’s done….in a round, while practicing, whatever. It’s all the same.
Purist and trolls need to just relax. When barstool had their live stream for the hole-in-one, no one complained that he had been hitting balls for a day plus. Also good good has had a hole-in-one challenge on a part three course in Dallas without issue. Congrats to her and the winner of the contest

I think she’s totally legit but why would it matter even if she did fake the whole thing? She’s an entertainer and the whole point of entertainers is to get followers.

I support Gabi she has great content and i think she is a huge leap forward for womens sports , I have my granddaughters watching her videos the girl's very talented.

A lot of of these creators want to hitch a ride on the backs of the more popular ones, even if they lie and sensationalize trivial or non issues. In this case, using Gabby's popularity to try to up their views. Gabby's integrity and genuineness shine through in her videos and people see it and appreciate it. That is what makes her special.
Gabby is a breath of fresh air and an inspiration to many both young and old. As my daughter grows older i hope to share the great game of golf with her and gabby will surely be an inspiration and good role model for my daughter to help along the way.

To me it is obvious she hit a few balls at that hole, who cares, it is still a hole in one, one of her first videos in this series was played on a par 3 course and she said that, well done Gabby for coming up with a unique idea, and well done on your hole in one.
Seems simple – a hole in one is, by definition, a hole in one. She doesn't seem to have promised a hole in one during a competitive round. And the fact that it occurred on a par 3 course doesn't add a stroke, mid-flight. I've never seen her channel (not my style), but I have no reason to question or disrespect her.

Gabby is an excellent young golfer who works very hard on her game. I would give her the benefit of the doubt on this one. She is such a great young personality.
Not sure why people care. This girl is legit good at golf and would destroy most of the people who watch youtube golf. She gave some money away she got some followers and who actually cares how she got there. She could also have sat there and hit a 1000 shots and not hit a hole in one. People gotta find something worth while to be mad about not some kid on the internet trying to carve a path for herself. So silly!
This is so damn stupid. The European tour have had several challenges where a golf pro have had 500 balls to try to make a hole in one. Do people cry then? No. People go entire lives without making a hole in one on a 18 hole round on a normal course.

She is the best young female golf influencer out there today. She will grow the game more than any of the other female golfers out on youtube, showing their cleavage for clicks. She is actually showing how the game can be fun and hopefully inspires more young ladies to take part in playing the game.
