Hello everybody and welcome back to the channel my name is Ben Parks 225 marathon and today we’ve got Nike’s complete 2024 lineup to make sure you don’t choose wrong and you get the right shoes on your feet we’re going to be going through the stats what each shoe
Should be used for going through the pros and cons of each shoe and of course like all videos on the channel I’ve bought these shoes 100% with my money to give you a complete impartial review right let’s get stuck in with the Nike Pegasus version 40
So who should buy a shoe like this well someone looking for a classic daily trainer a shoe to do all sorts of different types of runs fairly well this shoe comes in around about20 Stack kite at the back 33 mm 10mm drop overall and the weight 288 G
In a UK size 9 the mid sole of the shoe is Nike’s classic although slightly outdated now react foam and underneath that there’s two Zoom Air pod units just to help with that cushioning on those longer runs there’s no plate in the shoe and there is also a wider option as well
What I really like about this shoe is it’s just so dependable it’s a classic it’s been tried and tested by millions of people it just delivers that allaround option really well it’s a shoe that does everything you can wear it to the gym you can wear it running you can
Wear it casually whatever you want to do the Pegasus will look after you really well it’s suitable for all and it’s super durable as well so if you are on a budget it will last a long time the cons of this shoe is it is a little bit dull
It is a little bit boring and the foam really does need updating fingers crossed that will come when version 41 comes out and of course we’ll be reviewing that here on the channel so make sure you subscribe for when that video Drops so the type of Runner that will be looking for a street fly is someone that likes racing miles racing 5Ks and up to 10ks really as the longest distance it’s a lightweight racing shoe without a plate with Nike’s premium foam in there as well now this shoe will set your rack
Around about £45 32 mil stack at the back of the shoe with a six mm overall drop it’s super light 185 G and as I said a nice chunk of Nike zumax premium midso foam in there there’s no plate in this shoe and there’s also no wide option as well what
I really like about it shoe is it has a classic racing flat feel about it there’s no plates there’s no extra assistance but it feels so light and snappy and fast with a brilliant turn of speed if you don’t feel confident in something like spikes and you like
Running on a track this is a really good option for you here what I don’t like about the shoe is it does have quite a niche use it really won’t be suitable for everyone with not much cushioning in here if you’re the type of Runner that likes training for 10K half marathon
Marathons this might be one to skip but if you like that faster work then definitely have a look at the street fly moving on to the vomero 7 I’ve really loved getting some mil done in this shoe so the type of Runner that would be looking for something like a
Vomero 17 is someone looking for a premium everyday running shoe someone that’s looking for a soft springy engaging poppy ride with a good bit of durability in there to make sure the shoe lasts a good amount of time now this shoe set me back
£45 here in the UK 39 mil stack at the back of the shoe 10 mm drop overall Weight Wise 300 G so a little bit on the heavier a little bit heavier than I’d like to see midsole you’ve got a big chunk of Nike’s premium zumax in here
And then underneath that we’ve got Nike’s kushon foam as well to really increase that durability so speed durability good combination there there’s no plate in the shoe and you can also Speck it in some wider options as well what I really like about the shoe is it’s super comfortable great lock
Down really like the upper as well it’s a really good everyday option is this better than the Nike Pegasus is it worth that little bit extra if you can afford it I’d say definitely go for this one it’s just a lot more engaging poppy fun fast ride you’re going to have some more
Smiles on your face in a shoe like the vomero what I don’t like about it the sizing was a little bit off and I had to go half a size down but yeah definitely one of the best Nike shoes that’s going to be out in 2024 so the type of Runner that’s looking for an Infinity Run version 4 now is someone that’s looking for a little bit of extra stability and a little bit of extra support with a nice sort of soft cushion ride to go about their runs now this shoe sent me back
£155 39 mil stack at the back of the shoe big increase over the outgoing model and then a 9 mm drop overall in terms of weight about 314 G for a UK size 9 and it has a big chunk of Nike’s new react X foam running throughout the
Shoe here there’s no plate in this shoe and you can also Speck it in a wide option as well now what I like like about this shoe is it’s a good stability option it’s currently Nike’s only stability option out there so if you want to stay in the brand this is where
You need to be looking the new react xram is very soft it’s going to look after your legs on those longer runs out there and the durability so far so good a really big chunk of this outso rubber in here and it is not wearing at all so
Far so you’re going get a lot of mes out of this shoe the upper is also nice and breathable but a little bit on the snug side so it’s definitely worth going half a size up what I don’t like about this shoe is at 400 G for me in my UK size 12
It’s just a little bit on the heavy side it’s a lot of weight to carry around on your runs also the Nike react foam is a big improvement over the old react foone but it’s still not the most engaging the most fun ride out there but if you’re
Just looking for a nice Dependable daily stability shoe then this one will have you covered I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that smashed that like button has left a comment down below subscribe to the channel and also checked out my website benp parks.com
Where we have the best running hats in the business some great merch for the channel and also we’ve got amazing selection of training plans with over 3,000 five-star reviews as well these videos are quite expensive to put together and it’s through all of your love and generosity that makes this
Possible so thank you so much right back to the Video so the person looking for a zoomfly 5 is someone that really likes their long runs and faster long runs as well this shoe actually came out a couple of years ago but 19 kept it in their range for those people looking for a high mileage daily trainer with an
Option to go racing in as well my pair set me back £15 there’s a 40 mil stack at the back of the shoe and a 10 mm drop overall 314 G the midsole has a pocket of zoomx recycled foam in it it’s wrapped around with a carrier foam as well to really
Help with that increase durability there is a carbon plate running through the shoe to help with that Popp and speed and there’s no wide options available for this one now what I liked about the shoe the outsole and the durability with that carry foam is really really good
It’s also got a really nice solid lockdown to the shoe a really good classic daily option for those higher mileage Runners what I didn’t like about the shoe again it’s just a little bit on the heavy side a little Nike shoes from this generation were just a little bit
Bulky little bit heavy it did take a little while to break in before it came to life when it did it was all good next up Nikes Invincible their classic easy and Recovery run shoe for people that like to go long and have the maximum soft marshmallowy cushioning
Under their feet to look after their legs or potentially for their second run of the day in a really really soft shoe my pair set me back £175 there’s a 37 mil stack at the back of the shoe overall drop of 9 mm here and again a little bit on the heavy side
310 G for a UK size 9 in terms of the med sole another big chunk of Nike’s premium super soft super marshmallowy zoom X foam in there there’s no plate in the shoe and there is also a wide option if that is your thing now what I liked
About this shoe version 3 was much more stable than the outgoing version 2 model which was just a little bit soft so really good stability in the shoe super soft squishy foam to really soak up the miles what I didn’t like about it version one and version two were very
Good I did thousands of miles in these but I just had a few too many issues with a lockdown on version 3 and I really couldn’t get it going a lot of people solved this with a heel lock and the shoe but I tried that and I really
Couldn’t stop it slipping quite enough so it was a bit of a loss to me version 4 is coming out in the first part of this year and hopefully they’re going to fix that option and I can get it back into my rotation cuz I love version one and version two very
Much right guys we’re now getting to the fastest part of the video the fullon race shoes that Nike offered first off the vaporfly the person looking for a shoe like this is looking for an allout race shoe 5K 10K half marathon Marathon I’ve run my last three marathons in this
Shoe I’ve done all of my speed training in this shoe as well it’s one of the lightest fastest most fun and engaging Racing shoes out there now this pair sent me back a lot of money £235 well over the £2 200 price bracket now the stack at the back40 mm stack
Right at that legal limit and then the drop overall we’re talking around about 8 mm 200 g for a UK size 9 the midsole again a big chunk of Nike’s zoomx foam here there is a carbon plate in the shoe it’s pretty stiff but actually not too
Bad as carbon plated shoes go and there is no wider option here although the vaporfly 3 is a little bit on the wide side anyway what I really like about this shoe is it’s very very fast it’s very very comfortable and it’s just an all round fantastic race day shoe also
Really good grip on the bottom of the shoe as these type of shoes go as well so a good one if you’ve got some wet weather training to get done what I don’t like about the shoe is you are going to need to pair this with some
Other types of shoes you can’t do all of your runs in this one so you’re dropping £35 you’ve then got to spend about 140 150 to get something like a veroma to do your training runs in but that’s it it’s only really comfortable at those allout speeds and great if you’ve got the
Budget something like this then definitely go for it and finally with this video the all new alphafly version 3 the marathon Cruiser that’s got all of Nike’s R&D all the tech combined into this brand new alphafly version 3 package the person that’s looking for an alphafly will tend
To be a half marathon and marathon runner then once to go all in and have every little bit of technical advancements under their feet to make sure they’re running their very fastest times out there this shoe sent me back £285 very much on the higher end of
Running shoes that you can buy anywhere in the world stack height 40 mil stack at the back of the shoe 8 mm drop overall midsole you’re talking another huge chunk of Nike Zoom X foam in here then you’ve got two of Nike’s Air Zoom Pods at the front of the shoe which are
Underneath these orange rubbery sections here really giving you that extra springiness that extra Poppin the alpha will deliver version three has had a big weight drop as well for me and my size about 50 g lighter for comparison we’re talking about 218 G for a UK size 9
There’s also no wide option in this shoe although like the vapor flight it’s not too bad you’ve got a good amount of width in there for those wider footed Runners now talking about my likes about this shoe it’s fast it’s very very fast the fastest shoe I’ve ever run in
Without a doubt it’s going to be my next race day shoe when we line up in Seville in a few weeks it’s also the most com comfortable alphafly that I’ve ever run in the second version had a lot of problems in the arch support here with
People getting a lot of chafing a lot of blistering in that area they’ve really updated that in this version and that is gone away it’s very poppy it’s very engaging it encourages a very nice landing underneath those airpods it’s now a lot more natural to run in as well
Compared to the old version with this new one piece of midsole and you just cover the ground so much more smoothly with each foot strike what I don’t like about it it’s still a little bit on the noisy side a little bit Slappy at the front but it’s not too bad again nowhere
Near as bad as the previous two versions it’s ridiculously expensive if you can afford it that’s fantastic and there are some potential durability issues happening at the front of the shoe just after 50k for me I put this back in the box I’m training now in Vapor Flies but
I’m going to get this back out when it comes down to race so probably not the kind of shoe you’ll be running too much in definitely the kind of shoe you’re going to want to pair it with another solid daily trainer as well it’s not comfortable to running at anything other
Than your sort of all out half marathon or marathon pace type work here but yes if you want to go all in and spend that big chunk of cash you really are getting the most technologically advanced shoe on your feet and for me the fastest shoe in this lineup
Here so what are my favorites and which of the shoes I find myself recommending the most well probably the most common one is that Nike Pegasus version 40 or version 39 both really good shoes if you can get them in a sale then definitely go for it so super depend able and it
Will look after you really well my highlight of this whole lineup is this new Vero 17 I really enjoyed putting some good Mars in this it’s really nice to see Nike return to form with a good daily shoe that I can happily recommend and then yeah it’s really hard to pick
Between these two shoes the alphafly or the vaporfly the alphafly has got all the technology in and it’s the fastest option out there for me my favorite shoe in this whole lineup is the vaporfly 3 I just put it on forget about it it’s down
There doing its work and it has a really nice engaging ride but now the alphafly will be the shoe I will be using for my next marathon it’s now comfortable enough that I can trust it over that distance it’s not giving me any issues so far so really excited for that so
Stay tuned and get subscribed to see how we go on in Seville I really love bringing these big comparison videos to you guys so let us know down in the comments which brand would you like to see next and we’ll get them all in and review the whole range if you got any
Questions about this let us know down in the comments as well so that’s it guys keep on working hard keep on getting it done and we’ll see you very soon in the next one

Tq ben for a nice shoes review.. my favourite absolutely will be vaporfly 3 😊
The streakfky while having no plate it does have a mid foot shank to help stabilize the foam so that’s it’s not overly wonky. Nike still have another stability option called the Nike Structure on its 25 version now.
I really enjoy this type of video I really want you to do New balance next
Only the Pegasus are shoes for everyone, for every style of running, for any task or even a race for a reasonable price. They are just disappear on feet making you enjoy your run)
Will u try out some adidas shoes as well?
I admire you as a runner and as a person but I find it slighly dishonest to use 2024 in the title, given that basically all of those shoes came out some time last year:
Nike Pegasus 40 – September 23
Streakfly – April 23
Vomero 17 – October 23
etc.
Yes, they're current models, but none of them is technically a 2024 shoe.
Gotta be New Balance next, surely??!! (Unless I missed it..??)
New Balance would be great ☺️
Thank you, just thank you! I don’t know what else to say 👍
Buying the peg 40 FOR 130 euros makes no sense it’s a 50 euro shoe at best
Great video Ben! Would you recommend vaporfly or alphafly for half or full marathon for runners who typical run in a mild support shoes? Thanks.
Nice video! I was a huge fan of the Nike Air Zoom Tempo Next% and really miss it. Which Nike shoe comes close to it? (sorry, I find the Pegasus and Vomeros just too boring).
No mention of the Nike Structure 25? I’d love to know how that lines up against the others.
I’m after something to replace the Tempo Next % which has been my favourite shoe for years now.
I had issues with the Alphafly V1 with my forefoot hanging over the side and giving blisters.
Ben, what about the Nike Air Zoom Tempo Next %? I ran my last two marathons in that shoe!
Also a video like this about Adidas would be interesting 🧐
What happened with Air Zoom Tempo Next% ? It’s was the best shoe that I had (2 pairs over 3yrs) I like softness and carbon plate with durability and Vaporfly’s won’t last as long as I used my Tempo for Daily Training
Guys I am a sprinter. which is better for me fly 5 or invincible 3??
Do you have a video for best shoes to walk or stand up for a long time, example, when going to a theme park 😅?
Ben, i have around £150 for trainers that i plan to run a marthon in, in april. What are your suggestions?
Great video Ben, all of the Nike regular shoes feel cumbersome to me but I love the Streakfly and Alphafly 3. Strangely, I struggle with the Vaporfly 3 which is surprising as I think version 1 & 2 are the best race shoes ever across all distances (Aphafly 3 is definitely better for anything 10 miles and above now, though).
Hi Ben, when it comes to carbon plate shoes do you agree with the research that states these are only beneficial to those that consistently run at a minimum pace of around 7:30mi?
I have both Nike Invincible 3 and the Infinity 4. I prefer the cushioning and rocker ride of the Infinity 4 ,but the Invincible 3 has a more comfortable upper that hugs my feet really well without having to be super snug ad the Infinity 4. For long runs I prefer the Invincible and for easy short runs the Infinity is amazingly relaxing with the rocker it has.
Excelent video. I love Invincible 2 , Vaporfly 1 and Alphafly 1 . I have other Nikes but Thais 3 i 😍😍😍
it would be great if you could do the same video for puma and adidas, but I understand if you weren't able to buy enough shoes.
I have Pegasus 40s for easy and Vaporfly 2s for racing, I would like to try Invincibles and Vaporfly 3s next and have also never tried an Alphafly
Is the Nike structure 25 a new shoe? Or have you not tried them.
Nike…garbage shoes
My feet are wide, which shoes do you think are suitable?
ADIDAS – I'd love to see some Adidas shoes in your videos.
Thank you for all the effort that you put into it.
What would you recommend for a running shoe for mens who want to run everyday to keep fit for soccer?
There is also the Nike Zoom structure shoes which I've loved as someone who over pronates a touch. Super durable (my version 24s have nearly 1000ks) and comfortable and a solid all-round shoe for runners that need the extra stability 🏃👟
I have a thing for cheap running shoes, and the Nike Revolution ($US 60) is a great value shoe. They have a bit more cushion than older models, but it is on the form side. Even took it in an incredibly muddy and technical trail this weekend and it performed pretty well.
My daily though is the WinFlo which can soak up the miles without being a marshmallow mess.
5:02 They have the structure for more stability actually
hey can you review adidas duramo 10 the budget one?
I've got just two Nike shoes now. Vaporfly Next 2 and Vomero 16. The Vomero is also surprisingly fast. I also have good models from other brands, Saucony, Puma, Hoka. What is very clear is that the Nike shoes are more legsaving. I actually regret I didn't buy more Nike shoes.
Would love a review of the current adidas line up!
