I'm hearing there are rumors that there's still a chance Hovland goes to LIV. There's not much time before LIV's first event. Not sure there's much chance of that, but who knows. People are also saying the PIF/PGA deal is finalized. Wonder what the details are and how that's gonna work. Wasn't that supposed to create a new world league or something?
Just because a player isn't a big tour winner doesn't mean he isn't really talented. If LIV calls, go!!
The PGA tour, in my opinion, feels the tour is bigger than any one or group of players. How many will it take before they really get twitchy.
The only reason LIV doesn't get ranking points is that the people sitting on board of the ranking body have a vested interest in blocking them.

Tyrell Hatton is a big get for LIV. He’s notably quotable, unquestionably talented, and fun to watch. He’s not a PGA Tour Golfbot, but rather a professional golfer with an actual personality. His departure is an L for the establishment Tours and a W for LIV. LIV still has things to work out and improve, but their stable of players is arguably becoming more watchable than the PGA Tour. The format still sucks relative to the Tour, but we’ll see if they can evolve.
Hatton and Hovland are still listed to play Pebble beach this weekend on the PGATOUR website.

DP tour are just going to be forced to swollow their pride and allow LIV players onto the Ryder cup team.
The more and more top ranked players go to LIV then the more the world rankings start to become completly irrelevent, so again they'll just have to sort it.
lLiv are just detsroyoing professional golf due to pure greed – cant stand the Liv format its pointless exhibition play its an absolute load of rubbish piut on for greedy golf professionals – most of those on the PGA tour earn more than most people earn in a lifetime and yet they still want more –

Rahm and DJ were basically World #1s when they signed with LIV. He was lucky to get the $50 million, and smart to take it. They will get OWGR points. They won't be allowed back in the PGA Tour. But it won't matter soon, the PGA will be a feeder tour. End of story.
