Really wanted a child her whole life and she found out you know her and her husband could not get pregnant so they were able to magically adopt this baby and the baby was in the NICU and she’s thinking that she’s working at this company that is favorable towards moms

As they are a big baby company and she’s denied access to to maternity to maternity leave it’s insane Leu began her most recent apology which has over 4 million views by agreeing with online critics that her first apology was scripted this bely apologize to Marissa for how her parendo

Leave was communicated and handled she then goes on to say that this new apology will be off script and tries to explain her actions I was insensitive selfish and by the way we will get to these apology videos I have them in full I want to go through them so don’t be

Like oh my gosh Chrissy like what is this about I will get to the apology videos but I just want to give you a little bit more gist only focus on the fact that her job was um had always been done on site and I did not see the

Possibility of doing it with Leu goes on to call her actions a terrible mistake and says she wants to set an example as someone who is in the baby business before directly apologizing to Marissa we will continue to pay you the um the benefits as well as the um remote

Position that you have requested I understand if you don’t want to come back to work um anymore but we will continue to pay you as if you were uh working remotely for us okay other weird thing I noticed is that throughout this entire drama of uh Marissa the employee and the CEO there’s

Never really a conversation that happens in it it’s just this woman the CEO going to Tik Tok after she’s blasted for not giving maternity leave to one of her employees she just gets absolutely blasted on Tik Tok and she tries to make apologies multiple apology videos which

We’ll get to but she never gets in touch with Marissa it seems like it really seems like she’s just like telling Tik Tok what they want to hear instead of actually addressing the employee it very much feels like she’s way more interested in making sure the internet

Doesn’t hate kite baby her company than you know actually doing the right thing by this employee for those hours that you proposed um until you’re ready to come back your original position is always open for you when you come back Hughes had documented her adoption journey in a

GoFundMe in which she explained that her ad adopted babyon was born at 22 weeks and was barely over a pound adding that they had to drive 9 hours to be with him the GoFundMe also candidly speaks about hughes’s fertility struggles and the couple’s desire to grow their family

Right so that’s what I was getting at kind of at the beginning is that this is the employee her name is Marissa and this is her husband they were unable to get pregnant they were in the process of adopting they were unable essentially to adopt at the time they’d been waiting

And waiting and waiting and finally finally finally they find out that they look at that baby it’s one pound they finally find out yes we’re getting a baby he’s how however what did it say like nine hours away um nine hours away and he’s in the niku born at 22 weeks so

Very very young so that is essentially the kite baby drama kind of wrapped up but it gets really cringy when you hear the owner’s apology video videos because the first one mind you I’m not I’ve only watched like a couple of seconds because I want to prepare for my live streams

But I also just want to watch this stuff with you guys live so I I definitely have an idea but I have not watched this response in full okay so this is the response that is blowing up or blew up kite baby drama from just like oh my

Discussion of her parental we it was my oversight that she didn’t feel supported as we always have intended okay it’s so cringey she’s so bad at this it’s not an oversight to tell a woman that she cannot do her job remote okay I’m just kind of putting

Myself in the situation like I want a kid and I can’t have a kid all of a sudden in a day’s notice I now have a child and the child is in the nicku 9 hours away I got to go I have to get this child because the number one

Priority in the world for me right now is dealing with this child right and first of all I’d be like sorry work I have to go like bye I’ll see you later but then to even like the the conversation how this went is Marissa the employee then goes and says to this

Woman to her CEO I will work I’ll continue working I just need to do it remote right like I just need to be remote and I will figure out a contingency plan for this because I have to deal with my baby it wasn’t even this woman saying I have to hop on maternity

Now Deuces it was I have to hop on remote work until I can just you know navigate some things out because this is all happening very quickly that’s not an oversight okay it’s not it’s just pure and simple negligence on This Woman’s part let’s keep listening as offered to

Her originally we would find her a position whenever she decides to return to work I also want to apologize to our kite Community I want to assure you that as the company’s owner I will always stand behind our values I will be reviewing our HR policy and procedures

There are calls for boycotts of kite baby right now the mama Community is fed f up okay they’re not dealing with it I love it and Gateway politics hey hey friend um I have been noticing though in the comments that people are blaming capitalism for this the argument is that

This woman she’s the CEO she’s so pent up about W gaining money you know earning followers Etc that she just it it became an oversight because she was so capitalistically mindset no I actually really rebuke this I think feminism growing and exceeding in this company is actually what caused this

Because this CEO was clearly trying to bully an employee into believing it’s acceptable to put your job over your child that in and of itself is feminism at its worst right telling mothers that their time their energy that their worth is just better used at a company than

Being with their child or family during an extremely difficult time that’s what feminism tells you that’s not what capitalism tells you I’m not arguing that capitalism is perfect but my God I am arguing that feminism and the implications it has on traditional motherhood are way way worse but there is one more apology

Video this woman CEO put out another apology video after she realized that her first one came off fake as hell which I don’t think you need feedback for that to be obvious like I think it’s just obvious that it was a fail on her part a

Fail but she does have a second one so I guess let’s watch that see what else she has to say I didn’t need an explainer for that like I I knew that we all knew that please raise your hand in the chat if you knew that we all did

We treated Marissa and I was the one that made I’m so sorry guys I thought I transitioned that and it was only on one side of my screen and not the other I’m still learning all of this software that comes with it so you just watching me

Staring that I’m so sorry I’m still learning all of this technology so bear with me but I’m sure you could still hear what this lady was saying a decision to veto her request to go remote um while she has to stay in NQ to take care of her adopted uh baby and

When I think back this was a terrible decision I was insensitive selfish and was only focused on the fact that her job was um had always been done on site and I did not see the possibility of doing it with moly however having a little bit of sensitivity understanding and F ability

Would have accommodated her but I did not accommodate her okay I’m liking her a little bit better now I’m not going to lie if she had just put this out the CEO had just put this video out the first time um she’ probably be in a much

Better place she’s in a bad place right now because she was acting like a fake hoe and now she’s acting like a real one and I’m sure people are still going to be mad at her I mean because when you admit to a fault you still have to own

That fault but I think we can all agree that this is way less terrible than it was before already and we’re only like a minute 11 into listening to this her so it I cannot imagine the stress she had to go through not having the option to go back to work

And having to deal with a newborn in um in NQ so thinking back it really was a terrible mistake I Own 100% of that I know people are going to say well now that it’s backlashed and and you’re just saving you know phase or say I already

Know where she’s going with this and I 100% agree it’s really really difficult for people to see how if there’s any genuiness because in genuinity is not a word no people are just struggling to see the authenticity that’s what I’m trying to say of this woman after she put out such

A phony version of herself now she’s like giving it all away she’s saying all the things that we always wanted to hear if she’ just come forward with this in the first place it would be so much better for kite baby and for her company it’s so dramatic like never listen to

The pr people I think that is the moral of the story don’t listen to the pr crisis people they’re terrible at this because all they tell you to do is to make these statements to apologize to people for something that you might not even be sorry that you did in this case

She should be sorry that she did it but you know they’re they’re always just there to try and make you um put out an apology letter and then disappear and wait till it for it to lay off in this case coming out with this second video that we’re watching is actually doing

Way more for this woman than I think you know if she’ just come out with this second video the first time around I think people wouldn’t be calling for boycotts of her but let me know your thoughts in the comments a company I think all of it is true but at the end

Of the day as human beings as a mom as a a female um owner of the business and especially a baby business I feel like I need to set the straight the record straight that I fully realize the um impact of my action my decision my shortsightedness um that I did not

Accommodate Marissa fully and did not even reach out to her personally didn’t even talk to her at all um about what happened to her uh until today and I really want to apologize to her and to the community and I would really want to take this

Opportunity to say that I’m sorry and I would you know rethink about the whole thing I like this already like I like that she is saying the words I’m sorry that never freaking happens anymore people I constantly talk about this I’m kind of done watching this video if

Y’all are too I am just so freaking sick of listening to people refuse refusing to take responsibility for their actions it’s so annoying I was just talking about this on Newsmax because Jill Biden she was talking about the Border crisis and whatnot and just her and Joe refused

This up for you guys okay a transgender golfer won a woman’s tournament okay in Florida making this person eligible to compete in the LPGA Tour which is the women’s version of the PGA tour right ladies PGA Tour this person’s name is Haley Davidson a 30-year-old biological man who competes in women’s sporting

Events so let’s go and read about this story because it’s quite insane how absurd this is so let me show you Haley Davidson 30 years old this this person right here I’m going to zoom in can I do that no Haley Davidson okay like I said 30-year-old biological male who competes

In women sporting events so Davidson has earned like $5,000 in winning since he we’ll be honest he began competing in women’s sports so this person has undergone a complete hormone replacement therapy so they presumably if they were over the age of 20 or 18 they weren’t going on

Puberty blockers but they did cross seex hormones so this person took I’m s some sort of testosterone suppressant as well as estrogen um for this hormone replacement therapy process and then underwent a full gender reassignment surgery as well and I’ll let you just imagine um I’ll

Let you imagine what that looks like so yeah and I guess the LPGA didn’t let that this person or not even the LPGA believe this person won the nxxt Tour so this is like a subsidiary that leads into playing on the LPGA so they were not allowing Haley Davidson to initially

Tour um Davidson is a Scottish n Scottish native residing in Florida and let me find this part I believe that this person was not allowed to compete initially for a while right okay she allegedly began he we should say he come on New York Post allegedly

Began talking with the Torah in 2016 but wasn’t deemed eligible to compete until 2021 when at that time he had been on hormone replacement therapy for 5 years and eight months so they had some sort of line okay some sort of line um and yeah uh I think the most interesting part to

Stories they going Mega viral and they’re insane okay like I’m not going to get into mine because I don’t want to get into mine but this one I mean like I felt really good about myself I didn’t I didn’t do anything wrong my company still has like respect

For me or whatnot this is just so beyond disrespectful the way that this all went down so let’s watch this whole conundrum transpire okay so this girl her name is Britney I don’t know actually how to say her L but she goes by Britney Peach I’m I’m guessing it’s

Like petesh or something like that anyway um we are going to watch her viral very very viral video everybody has been commentating on her insane video so let’s let’s get into it okay so there’s not a lot of audio right now so I’m just going to kind of

Voice it over she says point of view you’re about to get laid off my co-workers have been getting random 50 minute 15 minute calendar invites all days yes I’m so sorry my name’s Rosie before it happens says my work BFF got a meeting 30 minutes before I did and she

Just got laid off so this girl Britney is completely prepared for what’s about to happen to her I’m just uh joining the call um nice to meet you I’m on the HR team hi Britney hi thanks for meeting with me at and Rosie um but wait really quick I missed

That let me go back she said I get I got let go by two people I don’t know a woman from HR and a direct director man I’ve never heard of so she’s not even getting fired by her direct like her immediate supervisor she’s just put on a

Call with a random man a random HR director and just getting this news thanks for meeting with me and and Rosie um we have an important meeting today we finished our evaluations of 2023 performance this is where you have not met CLA our expectations for performance we’ve decided to part raise

With the receipts a lot of people get blindsided during these Mass layoffs they they assume that yes okay maybe my work wasn’t up to Snuff that’s why I’m getting fired and I just think it’s awesome for this woman to look at them directly and say okay I understand that

You know my perform like my sales wasn’t weren’t perfectly closed but I have always got an incredible feedback so I’m lost as to why the incredible feedback results in me getting fired like I’m really here for it I don’t know if you guys have any like random crazy stories

Layoff video that I have this first one I kind of wonder if it’s Brave I really do because I think it’s one thing I really do when a company says you’re lazy you haven’t done your work you know you’re an entitled brat you’re gone peace like I don’t feel bad for people

That act like that you don’t do anything you don’t add any value to the company by I I’m with you okay I think it’s Brave and not entitled in the fact that sure they don’t owe her a job but these companies doing these massive hiring spree only to change direction and then

Lay everybody off at the beginning of the year it’s incredibly insensitive and stupid you have to understand that people make life choices for instance I came down I moved my whole life to Nashville for a job was let go and I was like you guys what the heck I moved here

For this job and that’s just not taken into consideration or thank goodness right before I just was about to get laid off I like we were looking at houses thank goodness I didn’t do that right like thank goodness we didn’t buy a house and have a mortgage you make

Decisions when you have a salary and I understand any time that could be taken away but when you are working your butt off when you are moving in the correct direction and when you are getting adequate if not better feedback and then your company’s decision is then

Explained to you during a layoff as you just weren’t like quite up to Snuff don’t put that on her don’t you dare put that on her that’s not entitlement I don’t believe I think that that is actually a problem with corporate America being a bunch of selfish dicks

Okay there I said it but Angie stick around because we do have a good example of um entitlement which let’s watch a little bit more of this video and then we’ll get to that second story about the the two threads um the ladder of why I’m on this conversation I’ll I’ll put that

Insane higher fire story that really broke the internet everyone was talking about it and um and people were debating whether a was Brave or entitled and B why she posted this on the internet and now she’s deleted it okay so let’s get into the actual story of it it’s a new

New York Post article and Nick and Angie y’all are going to feel rectified in this um so there’s a recent college grad she went for the University of Tennessee her name is Sierra and she claimed she was hired and then fired after only six days at her first job out of school

Quote they didn’t know how to train me was what she alleged okay I love how the article starts out with Welcome to the Real World yeah honey um this happens so this girl Sierra deser R Fredrick she’s 22 years old she’s been working at a graphic design job for 5 days before she

Was let go she added that the firm does not does print work for a local grocery store chain so this it was a Tennessee based company that did work for Aldi the grocery store company so she had a video a fullblown mega viral video called

Point of view you got hired and fired in less than two weeks it got went everywhere and she deleted it so I think that’s great a great Point like why was she posting this video of her hiring firing again like personally would not

Do it at all um I wouldn’t post it I I don’t think it’s I don’t think it’s a good idea I don’t I think it send to your employers that you’re not a team player that you know you’re more interested in a justice-minded like f these people mindset than you are in you

Know just being a good person and a good employee but at the same time I understand that people get very anxiety written like I said like you have a house a mortgage a uh you make all these decisions this girl in this case moved all the way to Nashville to you know get

An apartment do all these things like rents I live in Nashville it is not cheap here okay so I understand the emotional impact that comes with it but let’s kind of read a little bit more about her her story so I’m going to read she took the video down unfortunately so

I’m going to read some of what she said so I got a job for this company in Hendersonville Tennessee and they do all the print for Aldi’s super excited that I’m going to be doing graphic design stuff that’s what my major was in I had five days of training at this job five

Shifts at this job in those five shifts I probably I spent probably three or four or five of those days doing nothing she continues Frederick claims there were two other people on her team who barely gave the young graphic designer any work to do and only had her watching

Training videos every day it was like oh I don’t know what to give you to do today oh I don’t know what to show you today Frederick said in her best impersonation of the two trainers yesterday I walked in and they made me watch videos that I’ve already watched

On things they’ve already trained me on for about three hours so she’s complaining that the company wasn’t really giving her adequate trading honey they gave you adequate like they gave you videos to watch to train you and then when you you know you asked for information sure maybe there was a

Miscommunication between um whether you had to watch these videos but like the the point of being a first year is just like sit down sit down shut up make as little noise as possible and if you you know need something to do take the initiative to do something I feel like

That is completely lost on gen Z and Jen Alpha they don’t feel this need to like pick up and do something exciting or new they just and I’m saying that as a jenzy I’m not like pointing fingers like my generation what I am a part of we have a

Tendency to be like uh what was me no one gave me anything to do I don’t know what to do with this so I’m just not going to do anything because I don’t want to waste time no no no no no we’re supposed to you know get active get

Proactive and get in there and be like you know what I’m going to start graphic designing things for campaigns that I think would look great hey by the way I you know I don’t know if you have any ideas for this upcoming campaign or what meetings can I come to just insert

Yourself ask to come to things like the fact that she was just sitting there waiting for someone to do something for her like I don’t feel bad for you I feel like that is the exact entitlement Angie that you were talking about it’s very entitled to think like I’m just going to

Come in here and you know people are going to be focusing on me and my needs like you’re are a the the company still needs to operate the company still needs to do things and I just found it very entitlement based so it goes on to say

Um that Frederick this girl Sierra went to work expecting it to be the typical boring shift until she saw the CEO at her desk she said our CEO is standing there with an envelope in his hand just an envelope and he looks at me there’s people in this room a full room of

People hands it to me and says says we’re letting you go Sierra I said um okay I’ve been here for 5 days I learned literally nothing Frederick claimed the CEO told her you’re not working out and said the company was going to continue its search for other candidates to me

This is so incredibly different than the last video right the first video that we watched was this girl was working hard she was doing her thing she was trying so very hard to do her job and the company was in the process of Mass layoff it was bad financial decisions on

The company’s part that led to this girl being laid off and that is being lumped together with this which is exactly what Angie said just pure and simple entitlement she’s sitting there going well I just kind of sat there doing nothing for 5 days why is this not

Working out like why am I not being given better things home girl like you have got to work for what you want you’ve got to put yourself out there work harder and harder and harder and that’s just like it irritates me it truly truly irks me that these kids they

Think that they’re owed something you’re not owed anything in this world you’re not owed a job as sucky as that sounds you’re not owed anything and when you go there and you sit there and you’re useless that’s not what people are looking for people are looking for

Go-getters I I feel like this is probably a learning experience for this girl I hope or it’s indicative of her work experience and her work ethic that she learned in college which is like if my professor doesn’t give it to me or doesn’t tell me to do it I’m just not

Going to do it it’s just such a bratty attitude Nick said 6 days is kind of impressive I’m not going to lie yeah you know I was thinking the same thing like I’ve had like I said had my fair share of layoffs in the past um it’s just the

The industry as well um not trying to make excuses but you know it’s the industry and uh I think my shortest one was like eight months six days it’s impressive seriously I mean Sierra write a book about it um or not I don’t think that’s a good idea for

Sierra either I think she just needs to shut her mouth don’t talk anymore home girl all right um as a heads up we’re going to get into one more underreported story about this NYPD detective that’s pretty insane and then if you guys do have any super chats please remember

Let’s get into this last story so this is a 20-year-old not 20-year-old I should say he has been working on the NYPD detective Force for 20 years so a 20year NYPD veteran that’s the best way to put it this man has been accused of mistreating a person gosh it’s really

Hard to say these stories because there’s so many weird gender pronouns involved but veteran detective accused of mistreating a person because the veteran detective asked this person who identifies as non-binary whether they identify as a male or a female okay it’s ridiculous absolutely ridiculous that people are getting in trouble because

They’re asking whether people are male or female okay this is the article it’s exclusive from the New York Post there’s a person named Christine Brown okay she’s a BLM protester and nonbinary person and she has filed and I’m going to call her she because I’m not using

This day them crap she filed eight complaints against the Bronx hom homicide detective Robert kleene because he asked her are you male or female like he understood that this person was non-binary asked the question and you know this ensued into we are going to attack your reputation

In career because you asked a normal question so anyway this nonbinary person Christine she got into [ __ ] like real [ __ ] this is what she looks like okay and what happened was that she was attacking an NYPD inspector and the detective in question Robert Klein he saw this happening and

He took action to arrest this Christine person and the BLM protester Christine then kicked the NYPD detective Robert Klein in the shin and get this he then punched this non-binary person in the face obviously not cool okay not cool at all it’s also equally uncool to kick and attack police officers

I am curious though because this person identifies as non-binary is it technically considered punching a woman in the phase if if she identifies as non-binary let me know in the comments whether you would consider that woman punching I don’t know if I would I don’t

Think I would but I don’t know I’m like is it I don’t know it’s a good question anyway there are a lot of obvious wrongdoings in this the officer should not have the officer has obviously shouldn’t have done that it’s awful to punch a woman in the face even if they

Claim that they’re a non-binary but like you cannot attack cops and get away with it okay that’s not a normal thing so let me kind of read this from his POV so this guy Robert Klein wore his police uniform for the first time in almost 10 years at a large scale get

Demonstration sorry words he said things spiled out of control at the protest at East 14th Street and Irving and Klein sorry East 14th Street and Irving and then kleene the detective said he took action when a fellow cop was attacked he continued I observed a protester attempting to assault an NYPD

Inspector and I took action and made the arrest with Force Brown so BLM protester kicked kleene scraping his shin and he punched I love how the New York Post in their freaking gender pronouns stop with the gender pronouns um them in the face and made the arrest Brown was charged

With assault resisting arrest and obstructing governmental Administration Brown pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct record show about a year and a half later this BLM postest filed a some sort of like civil rights complaint against Klein and other police officers for punching her [ __ ] I’m sorry you deserve to be

Punched if you’re attacking police officers you just you putting yourself out there in danger I don’t feel bad for you if you get punched in the face it is the natural result of you attacking a police officer I’m very very sick and tired of people not taking responsibility for their action if you

Are going to attack somebody or punch somebody there are consequences to your action okay Angie thank you for piping up not a woman doesn’t count okay I see you I just this story really does frustrate me in so many ways because it’s just stupid like it’s stupid that

This guy you have to remember the headline of the story reads NYPD detective fights to clear his name he should not have to fight to clear his name okay there’s no reason for him to have to clear his name he didn’t I mean he shouldn’t have punched

Her I get that but like there’s nothing that he technically did that was wrong right he yes he should have used the force to which he used I understand that and I’m okay with him being punished for that but for saying something as stupid as are you male or female if anything

That should be inviting that this person is like like hey like I am asking your pronouns I’m trying to be respectful trying to do the right thing in this crazy NYPD wacko gender Insanity world and yet he’s getting in trouble for this I I don’t think so that just like

Shouldn’t be how it works I I just not for this it shouldn’t be Nick said if she can answer what a woman is then she can count as a woman Nick you’re so right you’re so right if if she could tell what a woman is then she can say oh

My gosh you shouldn’t punch women but I doubt that she can I doubt that these protesters are interested in that their primary objective of course is to claim that the police are racist even though all of them are white kids I mean it’s difficult to tell if they are white but

They look white so these kids are getting in trouble because they’re taking up their liberal social justice activism and getting in trouble for it and then getting upset when they get in trouble for their actions like we just don’t feel bad for you okay we don’t

Feel bad for you we don’t feel bad for your like weird White Privilege problems I just oh I’m not sympathetic to it I know it kind of makes me sound like a [ __ ] but I’m just not sympathetic to these crazies these wackadoodles anyway like I said before
