Tonight and really uh Brad this is almost one versus two because uh we did not have a new set of rankings this week due to most of the games last week being snowed out and canceled and postponed but uh these would be the one and two teams State going at it tonight

Absolutely I know bound has it one verse three but uh you’re exactly right 9 and0 uh Kennedy cougars 9 and0 debuk senior Rams here been looking forward to this one you know when they canceled school this morning I got a little nervous like oh please tell me we’re going to have

Basketball tonight it’s it’s been one heck of a week uh seven days now of snow and cold and you know that’s another thing these coaches have have to manage right is no school day today how can you manage the kids do you get them up do

You get them out do you do a little walk walk through and whatnot so you know you sometimes you forget these are 16 17 year old kids with an off day and how they manage that is something that coaches worry about Y and uh now they

The court they do it a little differently though uh they average 69 points a game and uh it’s going to be the physicality I think of debuk Senor going up against I guess the Finesse of Kennedy yeah I guess that’s odd to say right uh but you’re exactly right coach

Maau you know one of his keys to the game is managing that physicality debuk Senor plays hard they’ve got some big kids some tough kids and and how can they manage manage that physicality I think Kennedy you know they’re of course they want to speed up uh speed everybody

Up as they always do but defensively they’re going to pressure you full court I know coach imer uh his his biggest key of the game is to take take care of the basketball anyone that plays Kennedy that’s what the co opposing coach says right is take care of the basketball he

Wants to limit turnovers and uh so you’re exactly right you know it’s going to be a a game of debuk senior half court packline defense a lot of sets on offense where Kennedy is going to try to push it and run up and down the court so uh tail of different styles of

Basketball it is and both these teams uh both these coaches talked about turnovers as you mentioned uh when the lmer saying we got to have less than a dozen turnovers that’s about their average uh on the year and for Kennedy well they take the ball away from you 15

Times a game so something’s got to give I’m actually surprised it isn’t higher than that cuzz they are so good they get out here they pressure You full court they have different little I don’t know if you call it gimmicks but they’re going to double uh double you uh and and

Run and Jump you and do various things you’ve got a uh debuk Senior Team that likes to get it inside as you mentioned Jacob Williams leading the way at 20.2 points a game uh 8.6 rebounds shoot 68% from the field that’s outstanding uh it’s a team that gets to the free throw

Line a ton uh as well they get to the free throw line about 15 16 times a game against a Kennedy team that likes to shoot the threes they take it inside they’ll kick it to the perimeter uh it doesn’t matter if you’re 68 67 or six
