Welcome back golfers in today’s video I want to talk about the version 3 Kirkland golf ball little history behind it the older one they used to make a four piece golf ball that was apparently identical to the Prov one they got sued they had to stop making it so

Unfortunately if you’re able to grab those those were the best kland golf balls then they made a version two where they also had a three-piece and they just came out with a version three with the version two wedges which I have as well which I’ll do a review on but I

Want to compare the new version 3 golf balls with the prov1 I want to cut them open see what’s inside and as well I’ve heard rumors that cut DC are they’re using the same Factory as they use cuz cut doesn’t actually make their own golf balls either they use a third-party

Factory that’s why their prices are cheaper and supposedly can hit as good as bridgeston in prov1 so I do have a cut a Kirkland golf ball so couple differences I noticed just from version two of this ball was not much um I’ll have to hit it on the Sim to see if it’s

Any different we got a prov1 that will open up and then we do have a cut but this is their four piece ball um but we’ll open it up see if it’s um similar I’ve already opened up the um Kirkland golf ball using these uh pliers here

Whatever you want to call these and this is what the inside of the new Kirkland the old one version two was had a yellow um rubberized compressed color this has kind of like a gray on the outside and my guess is on this cut if I’m to open

It up if it’s kind of similar it’s going to be a four piece but the second piece is probably going to be red in similar so we’re going to open this up right now it’s always satisfying to open up a golf ball I’m not going to lie if you guys

Ever get one of these kind of cool don’t worry I’m ruining the golf ball I probably lost it in the water anyways but let’s see what it looks like on the inside yeah so kind of what I predicted it’s not as bright red as the Kirkland

But the inside they got some blue rubber eyes but look they have the red and I have a feeling it’s the same as this so usually when you have a three-piece you won’t have this one which makes it the four piece 1 two 3 plus the cover makes

It the four piece and then I can see around the corner it almost looks like they use a little bit softer it’s like a clear you can barely see it here on the camera um compared to here where it looks a little bit more solid so my

Guess is this probably is going to hit a little bit harder not a huge fan of cuts I don’t know if you guys ever used them I tried a box before even if I didn’t lose the golf ball they literally would scratch I would hit a drive first time I

Ever hit the golf ball be on The Fairway hit my wedge go to the green good shot and it would already be scuffed up so even if you didn’t lose a golf ball I don’t know if they’ve improved that but that’s been my experience so that’s what

The inside of those two look like and just to compare with a Prov one uh I’m going to cut one up here just see what the inside looks like to give you guys an idea ooh always satisfying oh this one sounds sounds kind of gross all right

Let’s see so if we open this one up it’s going to be yeah so a little different coloring so this one as well this is a pro1 four piece but they used their first with the red rubberized with a purple and funny enough they actually use their outer ring the same as the

Kirkland so that kind of tells me why kirkin probably usually perform similar the outer ring looks identical I mean the urethane they use on the outside is very similar so I mean I got a feeling it’s a little bit closer they’re still using factories that maybe

Do a mix but let me know if you guys know the rumors let me know if you guys like hitting Kirkland golf balls I thought it’ be cool just see what the inside of a three-piece a four piece but compared to them to the cut

Um yeah they use more of like a clear clear outer ring and this one’s got more of a solid so I I feel like even the version three Kirklands even if they’re using a third party of cut maybe cut is using a different third party but they look kind

Of similar but I will put these on the Sim um I’ll hit them see what the spin rate is the distance and you know trying to save extra money hitting Kirkland balls you get what is it uh 24 it’s like $34 proie Ones cost 50 $5 these cut four

Pieces cost $30 um for 12 but again unless they’ve changed it even if you don’t lose the golf ball they literally do what they do they cut so let me know if you guys play with Kirkland proie ones or cut or if you prefer a different golf ball

As far as Kirkland balls…they suck, and 24’ balls were just tested by MyGolfSpy and 3 outta every 12 wont pass USGA inspection. Diff weight and sizes throughout dozen. Said possibly worst ball on the market.

  9. I have played a bunch of different bands and types of golf balls. Vice pro, Cut, Callaway Chrome soft and Kirkland. The cut ball is useless after 1 wedge shot. I can't see the Vice pro. I can't afford the Callaway, or the pro V1. I love the Kirkland signature and you can't beat the price!

  10. I like Version 2 of Kirkland Golf Balls they felt closer to Pro V1. Version 3 Cover feel harder and just does not go as far as Version 2 of Golf Ball. Cutting Cost is what I am thinking the Reason.
