And all the rest of it like I mean if you were other players in the tunnel you must have been looking at him going a bit of pressure on you today I although he seems to be immune to pressure though I would I would I would have accept I

First of all’s he’s made that up he’s totally made that up um secondly you’ve got not just Callum huso you the other members of the wall you got any other player on the team and the referee who for a large portion of that passenger play he’s staring at it the whole time

And to me the fact that it can ever happen is a really weird indictment of of what’s going on well I think there was criticism of the forest players they should have said something but actually when you see a move it I don’t think any

Say um that a group of fans like that do not represent a whole fan base which I think is fair um but yeah not what we want to say and this happened on the same weekend as an incident in Italy Mike Manion um the the AC Milan goalkeeper and his teammates walked off

The pitch mway through the first half of a game against UD ay after um he told the fourth official that he was hearing monkey noises from the crowd the game was restarted after 10 minutes um but Manion Comm commented afterwards saying I said we cannot play football like this

It is not the first time uh it has happened this way they must hand out stronger sanctions because talking no longer does anything now interestingly a statement tweeted by FIFA Johan Infantino called for Action that goes beyond the current three-step process in which players stopped twice before a

Match is abandoned of course that’s a three-step process uh and in the statement he said we have to implement an automatic forfeit for the team whose fans have committed racism and caused the match to be abandoned as well as worldwide Stadium bands and criminal charges for races so FIFA have been got

Mey mouth before on on these kind if only there’re in a position to do something about it I did think that what why are you Tweeting should why are you Tweeting suggestions yeah it doesn’t make any sense well I’m this I wonder about this because is it in infantino’s

As well I was I was particularly um interested in Casey Palmer’s statement Marcus for the reason you suggested which is that you know he he he said I don’t have the exact wording in front of me but he did mention that you know he doesn’t think it’s all fans and that’s

An interesting point because I do think there needs to be an element of collective responsibility here you can’t you can’t eradicate racism with this stuff but what you can of course do is control the things that are within your power which is to potentially eradicate it from the game now what happens

Outside of the game in society generally is a far bigger problem we know that but you can at least control the things you can control and if we were to foster a kind of idea of collective responsibility where you know A variation of what Infantino is saying

Where you know you lose the game that’s it control your f or keep them away then that would that would um certainly help things and I’ll just end my point by saying that we can’t lose sight of the fact that there is no exceptionalism when it comes to football these are

People whether it’s Casey Palmer Mike m who or whoever these are people who have been racially abused at their place of work it’s illegal and rightly so in every other Walk of Life it should be illegal or or sufficiently illegal in football as well and if it means that a

Bunch of teams have to lose a few points here and there and a load of fans get pissed off because some of their fans are racist good that’s a good thing and I tell you something I understand that people might say you can’t pass the bucket it’s got to be authorities but
