In the morning is I wake up at about anywhere between 4: and 5:00 a.m. usually and so what I do is I wake up between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. and then I um and then I just literally lift my computer and just set it on my knee and
Just open it and just start working I usually know the night before what I’m going to be working on my husband’s usually still asleep beside me in bed and then he wakes up anywhere between 500 and 6 and he goes and gets me a cup
Of coffee bless his heart and then I I just work here in bed from it’s funny I was saying to somebody the other day most people work 9 to 5 I work 5 to 9: I work 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. so um yeah I
Work here in bed from about 4 a.m. until about um until about midday usually and then sometimes bit earlier depending if I’m training the gym if I’m training in the gym at home uh I’m just chatting here just so that you guys um just while we’re waiting for everyone to get on but
If I’m training here at home well I I usually go out to my home gym usually around 10: so I’ll work in bed from say 4: or 5:00 a.m. till about 10: I I go out into the gym I train in the gym and
Then I head to the office and I have um I have meetings then usually most of the afternoon because a lot of my team is in America and so they don’t start until really kind of 1 or 2: p.m. our time here in the UK so I will spend the
Afternoon in meetings first of all with the team who are in the office here in Belfast and then I will spend the rest of the afternoon in and evening in meetings with the American team and then I try to get home for dinner at 5:30 to
Eat with the kids and then I usually have a few more meetings in the evening not always but definitely at the start of the week I usually don’t finish till about 8 or 9:00 so here in Belfast it’s 8:00 p.m. tonight and my husband was like you have another live and I was
Like you have another one 8:00 and he was like well it is that season so uh um but yeah it’s like it’s I always get asked about my my schedule and I’ll talk about that just a little bit before I get to the questions because I know you guys are interested
In what it takes one of the things I have noticed about building my business is that it it really I used to think that I posted about this the other day that everybody is sold the dream of work less earn more you know like work start your online business and you can work
From anywhere in the world or you know you why don’t you earn more you know you’ll earn more money so you can travel more and spend more time with your kids and all this kind of stuff it doesn’t exist guys it doesn’t exist right it see
This whole I mean I’m sure it does for some people this whole passive income thing but like every single wealthy person that I know every single successful person that I know never stops working like they are driven by this work ethic I go on vacation like
Several times a year we usually take six or seven vacations a year for either a long weekend four or five days or for a week we don’t usually ever go for longer than a week and so I take vacations and whenever I’m on vacation usually I don’t
Work unless we have a big launch coming up usually I don’t work and those vacation times are my times when I just completely switch off and completely relax because honestly when I’m at home I have my horses that I ride I have my bodybuilding my My Gym training that I
Do I have my family that I look after and spend time with and then I have my my work and those four things you know managing those four things just takes up a phenomen phenomenal amount of my time I I think if I didn’t have kids it would
Be different I think people who don’t have kids um definitely have a different level of of responsibility um and I have I have four of them you know and so managing their emotional and physical needs and whatever and you know obviously maintaining my relationship with my husband and the work that that
Takes like it all takes it all takes time if you like so one thing I have definitely learned is that the more successful I get the more money I make the bigger my company gets like you create this monster you create this machine that needs fed all the time and
At the minute I’m building I’m using my company to build my app only Fitness as well and like that has taken an enormous amount of investment and then obviously for me to be able to work I need a full-time housekeeper and a full-time chef at home to look after my family
While I’m out at work and so the company really Services you know and also I have a full-time um staff at the yard where we have five competition horses because my daughter rides for irel land and so that’s something that I’m nurturing and that’s one of the reasons why I work so
Hard is to make sure my kids have these opportunities so you know my company really is this Beast right that needs that needs fed because it not only supports the family and the staff that we have here it supports the yard and the horses that we have there but it
Also supports the company here and in America but then it’s also funding the growth of the sculpted vegan or sorry the the only fitness app that we are coding and building from scratch so it’s it’s it’s it’s like this Beast this Beast of Burden right this no it’s not burden
Like I love it but I do people ask me about my lifestyle all the time and they ask me you know you know they’re envious of these gorgeous holidays that we go on and these vacations and all this kind of stuff and and honestly I I know a lot of
People see my life on Instagram and they think it’s so glamorous and I like and it is to a certain extent but like I have W I have wardrobes full of Louis Vuitton bags and Christian Louis Vuitton shoes and Chanel and all of these designer things cuz I go away on these
Gorgeous trips and I go oh I want all this designer stuff and I buy it and then honestly I spent my entire life dressed like this like in company branded hoodies and leggings and trackit bottoms like literally that is where that’s where as high as spend my life so
I have all of these gorgeous Louis Vuitton bags and Chanel bags and Hermes and Laura Pian and all this stuff that never gets worn it just hangs in my wardrobe so I’ve stopped buying designer stuff and I because really it’s not worth it anymore because the stuff I

About it and they they you know want the merchandise themselves and so they invest in hoodies and t-shirts and different things to sell alongside their business nobody wants them nobody cares about your merchandise so you may actually ask why then Kim do you have merchandise and sculpted vegan well

My um my slogan in life which I stole from my husband is this nobody cares work harder like nobody cares work harder we actually have this like in in posters and things that like and I actually was thinking that I’m going to get some put them up in my office nobody cares work
Harder I this came from my husband I remember he showed it to me once he said look at the logo in our business group that we have with his other directors and it was like nobody cares work harder and it just spoke to my heart because genuinely nobody cares nobody cares
About your problems nobody cares about your bitching or your winging nobody cares that your life is tough nobody cares that your kid is sick nobody cares that you were on a night shift nobody cares you had insomnia last night nobody [ __ ] cares right I’m telling you this
Now like whenever you winge to someone they have a moment of oh that’s so hard you know what they do they go on with their life right most people go around the world like this me me me me me me me

My company they love the slogans right and so we decided they kept asking us do you have T-shirts we can buy do you have tank tops do you have all this kind of stuff so what we did was excuse me I’m burping we found a really good Drop
Shipping Company company don’t ask me the name of it because I don’t deal with any of the Drop Shipping but one of the team might know so we have a really good Drop Shipping Company that we work with and all of our merchandise is print on demand we don’t we don’t stock anything
So and we actually charge so little for it like the margins that we charge in this this is not merchandise is not a money maker for us at all we don’t we could actually we could charge double what we charge but we I think we only
Add like a 10% margin onto the onto the cost of the merchandise on our website and we only we only add a margin on it all because we have to cover shipping costs and and you know website hosting and the the fee that the company charges
Us that kind of stuff so what happens is if you buy merchandise through our website then it will trigger an order to the company and then the company invoices us at the end of the month or like they just debit the money from our bank account I think every time an order
Is triggered and but we charge so little on top of what the actual cost of the the merchandise is so if you want to do merchandise the only time I would ever say to do it would be when you have an established group of customers who are passionate about your brand like people
In my company my customers are passionate about the sculpted vegan they love it they they feel an affinity with it and so they want to wear the symbol of the sculpted vegan on their body right and that is like the ultimate compliment someone can pay you it really
Is the ultimate compliment someone can pay you but I I would say don’t get to merchandise right for those of you who are asking what the question is um just in case you’ve just joined you’re like what is the question it was this one don’t invest never invest in stock right
Don’t ever buy it from India invest in stock all that kind of stuff and and hold the stock because one unless it’s really different or solves a need you’re never going to make any money from it um if you’re ever going to do merchandise make sure you have a core group of

Does what it’s supposed to do so could I I could actually restructure my work life so that I only work 9 to5 if I wanted to but the but I the thing is I I can’t because I have a yard of five Professional Event horses um albeit with
Full-time staff to look after them but I still have to find time to train my horses I have to train in the gym four times a week I have to spend time with my kids and my family and I have to work on my business so if I if I was single
And I only have my business to work on I could work on at 9 to5 and then the other time would be leisure time and I could do whatever I wanted but because I have to fit in all these other things if I don’t get time to work on the business
During the day I have to do it at night if I don’t get time during the day because I’m doing something else I have to do it at 4:00 a.m. so that’s why I get up at 400 a.m. I can get a good six hours between 4: and 10 a good six hours
Uninterrupted work done first time in the first thing in the morning and my chef even brings me breakfast in bed he’ll bring me like a tray in bed and I like send him down my breakfast order and he’ll like bring it up and he sets
It on me and I gobble my breakfast I set my TR on I and I just go straight back to work in exactly this position that I’m working in now this is where I work I have meetings in bed like I had a meeting this morning with with a a a guy

In my bed with my head on a top knot in my pajamas having a meeting I don’t give a [ __ ] that people might judge me for it because I honestly think the more real you are the more people like you the more people believe you like are you
More likely to believe someone who’s sitting in their bed having a meeting with you saying here listen you know you should give me this money and you know and here’s what you’re going to get and like don’t worry if it doesn’t suit whatever are you more likely to believe
That that person are you more likely to believe someone who’s sitting very prim and proper and starched and and you know rehearsed in their office you know giving you this whole spale I don’t know I suppose it depends on the circumstance maybe you know you might be looking for

Question how did you par through your can I do this Moment by not being afraid to fail genuinely by not being afraid to fail there are times when I have been in crisis personally professionally in the business financially there really are times when I genuinely thought that I
Was going like I’ve been I literally haven’t had enough cash flow to see me through the month and I have learned now through being in catastrophe after catastrophe after catastroph I have learned that the catastrophe passes and my success rate for getting through hard things so far is 100% And even
If even so even even if I fail spectacularly let’s say I lost the business right there’s there’s a couple of things I would build it back up again because I’ve already done it once so I could do it again but I I whenever you think about it there’s two ways to think about
It there’s rationally in your mind you can run through all the different scenarios of okay what will happen if I fail and quite often fear is just a lack of data so when you get get yourself the data and you look at all of the different things that could happen if
You fail then suddenly it doesn’t seem so bad because you’re not imagining outcomes because you’re just you know they’re just there in front of you because the thing about the thing about catastrophizing things in your in your head is you can’t cope with something that you’re hypothesizing might happen
This bad thing in your head okay you can’t cope with that cuz it’s it’s not real you can’t deal with it so you will react to it as if it is real because it’s in your head but you have absolutely no coping mechanism to cope to deal with it because it’s not real
But whenever something happens in front of you you will cope with it and you will deal with it because it’s there in front of you and now you have options when something happens in your head when you catastrophize and worry about things in your head you don’t have any options
To deal with them because it’s not real so you all you’re left with is the fear oh oh my God this thing Could Happen [ __ ] oh my God and you feel the fear oh my God this thing Could Happen [ __ ] and you feel the fear so it’s like being
It’s like literally being tied at watching a catastrophe happening in front of you and being tied to a chair and and gagged and not being able to do anything but watch that’s what happens whenever you have catastrophe when you run through catastrophes in your head but whenever you have catastrophes
Happen in front of you you deal with them you cope with them even if a bomb was to go off outside at this moment I’m like oh my God imagine if a bomb went off that would be horrendous what would I do well you don’t know what you would
Do because if bombb went off you would just deal with it and cope with it and you would react to what’s happening in the moment and you would you would deal with it so whenever a catastrophe happens in front of you or something bad happens you deal with it because it’s
There so you’re very much in the moment so whenever I have these can I do this moments or is this right or oh my God am I going to make it through this moments what I actually do now is and I’ve learned this over the years is I switch
Off my thoughts I go back to my breath in my body and I just breathe and I remind myself that nothing bad is happening right now I learned this from um reading the book by eart to the power of of we in northernland we say The Power of Now The
Power of Now if you’re in America H so the Power of Now is a book by um eer tly and I I never listened I did listen to it but it’s much easier to read Because you fall asleep when you listen to it and he really taught me in that book how
That in this moment there is no problem there is no problem in this moment right now unless you’re like drining in the sea there’s no problem the only problems that exist are in your head so future problems past problems problems you haven’t dealt with they’re all in your
Head Nothing Else Matters except what is happening in front of you right now and so and so what I do is whenever I find myself catastrophizing things in my head I switch it off I go back to my body and I remind myself that there is nothing
Bad happening right now and I feel my body I feel feel my hands I listen for my blood flowing I listen for the silence I feel my breath entering and leaving my body and I remind myself that right now there is no problem and that is and if you just bring yourself back
Back to the present moment back to the present moment back to the present moment and you do that continually then quite then you will start to learn to live in the present moment so whenever you ask yourself like can I do this quite often whenever people are having panic attacks and then
They power through as you were saying those moments all they do is they switch off their thinking they go no I can do this which actually anchors them back in the present moment so when you anchor yourself back in the present moment you can get through anything it’s whenever
You catastrophize things in your head that the problems begin so I would advise everyone who’s who who has these moments of anxiety to get out of their head get back into their body and stop overthinking things because really in the moment there’s usually absolutely no problem uh Tracy is asking how long did

To sell you can you know earn more money so you can spend more time with your family right no that was never going to sell Kim right that was what I thought people should want that isn’t actually what moms wanted but that business taught me a lot it taught me about
Building websites I heard someone on people per hour to fi to build a website and they were in India and I learned about building membership websites and I learned about wishlist member and I learned about you know marketing and and all of these different things and I
Never made one [ __ ] penny right I spent an absolute Fortune buying all these courses and so much time watching all these webinars and I you know I followed all these online gurus and and I and I was you know following James webm more and Amy Porterfield and I was
Trying to you know model my business on there and Marie for Leo you know was big at the time and and I tried and tried and tried and tried and tried and then I I decided I was going to give it all up and just become a yoga teacher I tried
And tried and tried and tried for so many years I think from 2011 to 2015 when and I always had practiced yoga very I’d never stepped foot in the gym I’d always practiced yoga um and I practiced to a very high level and so I decided I was going to become a yoga teacher CU I loved yoga so I closed my

Writing an ebook for Facebook ads everything it was online courses for everything so I was like Well there must be an online course teaching you how to get to the stage as a vegan bodybuilder because I was I was a vegan and so I went online and I looked and looked and
Looked and looked and looked and it didn’t exist right didn’t exist and I was like ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding jackpot I knew that skillable business models existed online in the business world but I realized that no one online had created a scalable business model very similar to
That which the businesses were using to promote their business and sell their business courses no one had done it in Fitness no one had done it in Fitness right like had created a course or a program and then used the online business model to sell it but the only
Reason that I knew that this even existed is because I had spent from 2011 until this is now 2016 I had spent five years studying the online world so by the time I got the idea for the sculpted vegan and I decided I was like well if no one else
Is doing this and I’m looking for it I know there’s millions of other people looking for this I’m going to document my journey create this program and I’m going to sell it online but what I realized was that I had never the the the re the thing I always knew that the
Why I had fallen down in my last businesses I’d never ever managed to make them successful was because I didn’t know how to Market them I didn’t have a good marketing funnel because anyone can create a program and I created some real good kickass like you know programs like yoga programs
Business programs different things right really good ones but nobody ever [ __ ] bought them and they never bought them because they didn’t know they existed because I didn’t I I didn’t have the money or I wasn’t willing to spend the money to invest in a marketing strategy and so I remember like approaching a
Facebook ads company and they told me like the you know it was a $10,000 investment just to get started with and I had to commit to spending another $10,000 a month and I was like [ __ ] hell like I did not have enough confidence in my product to make that to
Make that investment so that’s one thing as well I want to say to you guys who are thinking about you know starting online businesses a lot of people are scared to spend money on Facebook ads because they don’t have the confidence that their product is any good and I was
The same I I wasn’t willing to put $10,000 on a credit card to sell this program because genuinely I didn’t really know that the pro if the program was any good because it wasn’t really solving a need either like it was teaching what you know stay-at-home moms
How to make money from home stay-at home moms don’t have money to spend on making money from home and they you know they certainly don’t have the desire to spend more time with their kids so the marketing was all wrong on it so if you don’t want to spend money on Facebook
Ads it’s usually because your product isn’t very good or you don’t have a lot of confidence in it that it actually works but whenever I created the sculpted vegan I knew with beyond a shadow of a doubt that this program worked because I had created it for me
And I also knew that if I wanted it other women must want it that it must be valuable don’t ask me hi I knew I just knew knew I knew because it had solved a huge problem for me and I realized that the solution on the pro the solution
Didn’t exist in the inter on the internet so I created the program and then I but I I what I did was I began to actually study how I was going to sell it and this is one of the biggest mistakes that people make right they think if they create the program they
Can think about the marketing afterwards when I created the sculpted vegan I did the reverse I hadn’t even completed the full program whenever I sold it it was a 12- month program all I had done was created phase one I created the other phases as they went along and I just
Told the people that the reason why they weren’t getting the phases is because I didn’t want them to jump ahead in the program and the phases would be released you know gradually over the 12 months because I hadn’t created them because I spent from I had the idea of the program
And while I was training in the gym and documenting my all my whole journey and doing all the the the nutrition and stuff what I realized was um or what I studied was I studied webinar funnels I bought Amy cter Amy porterfield’s course which is called webinars that convert
And I um I bought it and it doesn’t exist anymore and I use that webinar funnel to teach me how to use a webinar to sell a program and I knew that webinars worked because I had been on so many webinars over the last five years teaching Pinterest teaching LinkedIn
Teaching YouTube marketing teaching Facebook ads teaching everything I joined so many webinars to learn the for free and at the end of it they always sold the program and I always wanted to buy the program always without fail I always wanted to buy the program and so
I knew that if I could create a really Kick-Ass webinar and sell my program at the end of it I knew that I would make money and so I that’s what I did I spent six months um I think I decided that I was going to launch in October I bought
The program in April I April May June July August September October so what a seven months it’s took me 7 months from I bought webinars that convert to I launched and I followed exactly what she said now I didn’t have a team I didn’t have anyone working for me I had to do
Everything myself um and I used the webinar funnel and I sold on the webinars and I made $52,000 in my first launch I invested $10,000 £10,000 on a credit card to pay for the ads but I was able to do the Facebook ads myself because I had taken courses in Facebook
Ads like cheap courses in Facebook ads and I’d learned Facebook ads and I’d practiced it with do yoga talks so by the time I launched my company and and then I used am strategy of putting it on Evergreen I launched in 2016 October 2016 and by um October 2017 I had done
$1.2 million I I’ve like screenshots of my of my uh Revenue so I did a million dollars in the first year but I didn’t do a million dollars in the like had I not had the experience that I had in the online marketing world I couldn’t have
Done a million dollars in the first year I only was able to do it because because I had learned from all my mistakes I’d learned what I did wrong I knew that I had to follow the people who were doing it right I knew I had to have a seal
Strategy and then once I had launched the first thing that I did was I hired a company to do my Facebook ads for me I invested the money that I that I made in the launch I borrowed another 30,000 from a friend and I invested that money
In a Facebook ads company to run my ads for me and that’s when the company really started taking off so you it is it possible to make a million dollar in your first year yes but not not right out of the gate right it’s not impossible but it’s very very hard like
If you create your first program and you have no experience with internet marketing you have no experience with Facebook You’ have no experience with with you know building websites or hiring designers or people per R all these platforms you’re never going to make a million dollars because you’re
Going to spend your first year learning so I spent 5 Years Learning internet marketing before I actually launched a company that was successful but the most important thing is I never give up and so a lot of people think oh she’s an overnight success like I I’ve had my
Company now since 2017 it’s now 2024 so you’re talking you know seven years four five six seven years so and we’re growing and growing and growing now but it’s taken a long time to get here so um I don’t know whether this is like this is helping you or this is like
Depressing you but I guess what I always want to impress on people is you don’t have time like you really don’t have time you have to start now and it’s going to take you longer than than you think or you want and you have to try
Try and fail and try and fail and try and fail a lot of people are like Kim I you know why did I not make any money why why can you make like a million dollars in every launch and and I can’t even make $10,000 I’m like well it’s
Because you’re at the start of your journey you know that’s like saying Kim you can squat 260 kilos on the incline hack squat why can I only squat 60 kilos well I’ve been training for 8 years it’s taking me8 years to add an extra 200
Kilos you know like come back to me in eight years and we’ll see how much you’re squatting it’s you know there’s no one can go from zero to 280 260 kilos in which is what I squat on the incline hack squat there’s and I’ve only just
Gone up to that this year there’s no one can squat that after a year right unless you unless you really could you you could do it if you already have a very strong foundation in strength training or you were a powerlifter or you were an athlete of some other description then
Maybe you could get there in a year with dedicated training but you usually can’t because you can’t force just like you can’t force muscle to grow any faster than it can grow you can’t force your business to grow any faster than it can grow either and if you’re a new person
Starting in the gym you’re never getting to 260 kilos in you know in in the first year of training you just it’s just physically impossible just like in your business it’s almost physically impossible to make a million dollars in your first year if you’re green and
You’re starting out of the gates and you don’t have any experience so I would say go White start to consume everything you can about business consume consume consume consume webinars like what you know like you’re here in this free business course like learn like become obsessed with listening to people and
Watching people and you know and and all that kind of stuff and and and online and really getting into the nitty-gritty of of um of what it of of what it takes to run an online business and that’s how your you will accelerate your success

Um question did you originally sell High ticket items or have have you always done low ticket group programs I’ve always been high ticket but it’s a challenge to scale I feel like if I really want to scale to one million or Beyond I have to learn lower ticket
Programs as well thoughts from your experience so in my in my experience you need both right you need both high and low ticket I started with high ticket moved to low ticket went back to high ticket had high ticket and low ticket had medium ticket like I
It really just depends on your industry the thing about the fitness industry is because we sell business to customer and because we’re selling fitness programs you’re never ever going to make as much money selling directly business to customer if if you’re selling fitness programs because people people will not
Invest people find it hard to invest money in themselves personally but they will invest money to build a business so if you are selling business to business you’re actually much more likely to make to make money than you are if you’re selling just directly businesses to customer because whenever you’re selling
Businesses to business people can justify those expensives they can actually you can put those expenses through your business and so you so rather than so let’s say you work for let’s say you work for a company and your take-home pay after tax is uh $3,000 a month right so you’ve already
Paid tax on that money and that money is at to your account and let’s say then you use that you use $2,000 of that $3,000 to buy an online course okay well you’ve had to earn let’s say you’re in the in the 40% tax bracket right you’ve
Had to earn 4 and a half £4,000 45,000 in order to take in order to be able to take home that £3,000 okay so you’re already been taxed on that or $3,000 so you’re actually using your post tax wages to purchase things whenever you have a business you can use
That you can buy that $2,000 course through your business and then you’re before you’ve been taxed on that money and then you’re only taxed on the money you take out of the business so I always say to people it’s much more efficient for me to pay you through the business
Because if you charge me $1,000 for something and I can pay you through the business I haven’t paid tax on that money but if I have to take that tax out of the business I have to pay 50% taxes right so it’ll actually C I have to take
2,000 out of the business give a th000 to the tax man and then keep a th000 for myself so if I want to buy a $2,000 course I have to earn $44,000 so I have to ear $4,000 take it out of the business give 2,000 to the tax amount
And keep 2,000 for myself so you’re much more efficient buying things through your company so that’s why people are much more likely to spend money buy buying things through their company than they are buying things with their personal money and they can justify it and write it off as a tax expense so
It’s tax deductible so um you’re much more likely to make money if you’re selling business to business so it really does depend in the in the business that you’re in if you’re in business to customer it’s much harder to make money High ticket items are much harder to sell whenever it’s business to
Customer whenever it’s businesses to business you are much more likely to be able to charge higher prices and make money so what is the what is the the answer well the answer is honestly around with play around with with different ones like quite often you’ll
Find the the low you know I always say there’s a lot of different there’s different price points of customer there’s the customer that can really only afford the very very inexpensive items then there’s the mid-range customer who are the kind of 47 to $197 customer and then there’s the $197 to
997 customer and then there’s the $997 Plus customer you really need to have a range of products that will satisfy every customer so we find that the um we used to run $97 shred programs and then at the end we would upsell them into the sculpt and Shred program which was 1497
And so we would end up selling upselling about 20% of people who purchased the N9 $97 program into the expensive program so we used the $97 program to upsell the bigger one so we made money on on both ends so you really do need you really do
Need both in my opinion you can’t just have one if you want to scale they say that you have to have seven sources of revenue in order to become a millionaire um and so I would look at your product range whenever I only had one product
That I definitely there’s no way I was I scaled the business to a million but I was never scaling it Beyond and then if you want to go into millions like you’re you’re you know you’re really limited by the amount of of programs you sell but
Now if you want to go into tens of millions hundreds of millions now you have to go deep so now you have to figure out a way for your customers be to become affiliates to bring in referrals and bring in their friends right and that’s how you then go into
Tens of millions if you want to go into hundreds of millions or billions I’m not there yet but I will be then you have to create something much much much much much larger and so that’s why I’ve I’ve built the app only Fitness um because and we
Built it from scratch like I have I I have a a coder a guy who he’s actually married to my step sister so Ross is like an absolute genius coder so literally is employed fulltime by the company to literally build the app that’s it he’s being paid to work like
He literally Works Around the Clock 12 hours a day he works into like 3:00 in the morning Ross is literally paid only to work on the only fitness app so I’m the marketing genius he’s the coding genius that’s the only way that a technology a Technology based business
Will work there was quite a few questions in the group about app building um and my advice is to to any of you who want to build an app don’t don’t do it okay unless you are you know a PT with clients and you want to build
Like a white label app that they can then follow some of the programs whenever they’re not with you that would be fine but you’re never going to make money from an app if you have if you contract if you contact an app building company to build you an app right and
You want to make a lot of money from it don’t you’re never going to you’re just not going to because every time you every time you want to make an update to the app you have to contact them you have to pay for the updates and updates
Happen constantly like this the only way you can build an app is if you do it inh house and the only way you can do it inh house is if you have a lot of money and it’s nearly killed my business it’s nearly killed me several times trying to
Fund the building of this app but it is the SK it’s a scalable business model basically um it’s it’s it’s basically it’s how to sell your fit it’s how to sell your Fitness content online so it’s really we everything that I use to run my business I have built into this app
Every single thing from marketing emailing um advertising every single component that I use to run my business I built into this app and it’s absolutely free it’s free to down free to download free to use the only time you pay is when you get paid so if you
Get paid into the app we take 20% of Revenue we also have an advertising platform in it where you can pay to boost your posts have them featured have them highlighted so it’s a way that you can take your skill and start a business for free zero risk um that’s what that’s
What the app is it’s very scalable it has built inir sharing because of course whenever you want to promote your business what are you going to do promote it on Instagram promote it to your friends and family which is going to share the app which means more people
Will download it more people will use it more people will consume it so it has viral sharing built into it it’s [ __ ] genius right if I do say so myself and it’s taking me two years to build it so um the answer to your question is you
Need many many many different types of program to get to millions or tens of millions um certainly well not even multiples of millions but in order to scal beyond that you need to have have something much more robust and much deeper in order to sell that you have to
Have some in order to to scale Way Beyond that you have to have something um yeah something like like like the only fitness app something which goes or a massive affiliate you know marketing Network or something like Beachbody which is multi-level marketing you have to be able to reach people who can reach
People who can reach people who can reach people that’s how you scale Way Way Beyond but first level is one program second level is multiple programs third level is people who help you refer their friends to sell multiple programs fourth level is building an affiliate Network or a multi-level
Marketing Network fifth level is Building Technology I think those are that’s just my thoughts anyway there was a question here which was really quite long uh I’m starting my business abroad as a property consultant um I I like helping people but I find it so hard to
Stop doing things for people as favors and not charging for certain things and being strong in making sure it’s not my business um so basically how do you how do you stop giving away things for free um well if you’re giving it to your friends for free like I honestly see
Anyone who’s my friend who writes to me and says hey Kim you still selling your menopause program or there’s a friend of mine’s thinking of buying your even if I just knew them a you years ago and they say oh I was you know thinking of buying
Your over 50s program for my mom do you think it’ll work I just go here I’ll send you the program for free here have it like I just I I think the law of reciprocity is is amazing the more you give away the more you get back if it’s
Your friends you’re giving away services for free that I I wouldn’t I would say give them for free but don’t take up all your time giving them for free like at some point you have to Market your services let me take a drink so I would ask you to really look at are
You giving away and this was the question here it’s very long I would have to peer over the top of it I would have to ask you know ask yourself are you giving away your services for free as a way to distract yourself like because you want to feel like you’re
Doing good but you’re too afraid to sell your services you’re too afraid to go out and get clients it could be that you are feeling useful and like you’re doing something and that you’re kind of hoping they’re going to offer to pay you they’re not people are never going to
Offer to pay you if you are not asking for the money um but you may just be doing busy work to make yourself feel useful which I totally understand but really I would look at not the fact that you’re giving it away for free but the fact possibly
Why you’re afraid to sell and if you’re afraid to sell and I had a lot of questions about selling this week I would download books on how to sell people ask me what business books I’ve read I’ve never read any business books years ago I did read a lot of Tom
Hopkins um how to master the art of I think it was Master the art of selling I would honestly read any books on hi to sell I also read a book called oversubscribed by Daniel someone or other actually I did read business books years ago I just don’t read them now I
Literally read anything that I could get my hands on um and I don’t and I forgot that Seth Gooden’s books really good as well so I used to I used to think my god I’ve never read any business books I’ve read millions of them you have to be a
Voracious a voracious reader uh go and read loads of books on selling get really comfortable with selling and then just get out and do it just get out and do it okay what else have we got um going on here uh hi Kim love your advice more on how to get
Started in business please um well how do you get started you just have to start and I know that’s not what you want to hear but you know if you don’t have an idea search for an idea if you do have an idea and you don’t know how to package
It search for how to package it if you if you have an idea and you have packaged it and you don’t know how to sell it start reading books and digging into webinars and looking around on how to sell it you just you have to go out and start searching for information one
Of the things I have taught my kids right my kids have never gone to school so and and so the reason but what they are is they are phenomenal problem solvers phenomenal problem solvers because one thing I always taught them from a very very young age was how
To find solutions to problems when they had them and so my kids know like one of their favorite terms is well why don’t you just search it up have you searched it up they call it search it up right search it up as a term in our house
So but I have I find the people who were traditionally schooled and I was traditionally schooled but I hated school I was very defiant to it which is why I think I’m different but people who were traditionally schooled have a hard time going out and getting information
On their own and I know I’m making a huge generalization here but school really does kill your problem solving abilities and your creativity because the teacher stands in front of the class they write on a Blackboard and they tell you here is the information you must
Learn and you have to take that on good faith you’re not allowed to question it you’re not allow to say but hang on WE second no no no no this is what you need to learn write it down and then I’m going to test you on your knowledge at
The end of the year or the end of the month or whatever and so we’re taught to take information on good faith to not question it and then to regurgitate it so we’re very very bad at going out and finding information but one of the things you need to do whenever you have
A problem that you have to solve which is I want to get started in business is you have to become veracious in solving that problem you have to read everything you can get your hands on you have to you know watch loads of videos you have
To waste loads of time watching loads of different videos and loads of different you know clips on YouTube and different things about business and how to get started in business how to get your idea and what’s the best selling what’s the best vehicle for this and vehicle for
That you know it’s it’s you have to you know this is what you have to this is what you have to do in order to to get started so because you weren’t more specific about how to get started in business my best advices for you just to
Go out and start searching for the answers to your problems and that will give you more and more and more things that you can um more and more ideas more things that you can that you can latch on to who did you hire to run ads for
You I hired a company that doesn’t exist anymore they were called uh dominate web media I think they’re now called tier 11 so that’s who I first hired um but now I have a director of marketing who works for me full-time in house and she um has
Actually she used to work for dominate Webb media and then she left and then she and I were friendly online and then she came to work for me uh full-time so um she she’s just phenomenal she’s actually run Vanessa has been running Facebook ads since the dawn of time
She’s an incredible marketer and she she and I are best friends she works for me full-time now but that’s who I um that’s who I used in the beginning uh Daniel Priestley yes over subscribed by Daniel Priestley very good it was a really good um a really good
Question this is funny one how do you make those questions pop up in your screen uh so whenever we use a streaming technology for these q&as called streamyard so rather than me going live inside Facebook or Live on YouTube what I do is I use streamyard and then I
Connect my YouTube account and I connect my Facebook account and I um and then I stream to those things so whenever you use streamyard the all the questions come up here on the right hand side so I can read the questions and if I want to
Add them to the screen I just click click on here to add and then whenever I want it to go away I click hide I don’t know that you can do it with a timer though because these are the questions that are coming up um if you um if you
Want to put timers on your workouts you’re going to have to probably use a software to do that or get an individual to do that for you I’m not sure that you can do it in a live workout I’ve never tried I really don’t know but um I’m
Sure you probably can’t I’m sure like we’ve done it before in the company but I don’t do the the the filming so I couldn’t tell you so honestly I don’t know the answer to your question I’m really sorry okay last one um what is a good time to host a
Challenge with the paid prize so I find that you have to think about when people mostly have money right people don’t have a lot of money in uh in January but if you’re in Fitness people are motivated in January to lose weight so they will find money um after payday
Which is usually after the middle or the end of the month they will find money to pay for your challenge so it depends on what business you’re in March and September are usually the best times to uh to run paid challenges or to um charge for your products because in
March you’re far enough away from Christmas that people have you know got back gained back a little bit of money but you’re far enough away from um usually over here anyway from Summer that people haven’t really started thinking about Easter or summer vacations or whatever yet so they have a
Little bit more money to play with in March and then in September same thing again although schools have started back over here and people have spent money on schools and books and uniforms and things but usually end of September when all of that expense is out of the way
And people have forgotten about their summer and Christmas is still too far away to think about people are more willing to spend money in September so March and September are our two biggest launch months but we do launch at different times during the year different products and it also it
Depends on your demographic my demographic is you know women over over the age of 40 over the age of 50 a lot of them you know their kids are a lot more grown they don’t have the same expenses when as whenever their kids were young you know women in their 50s
And 60s the kids have usually flown The Nest so they have a little more disposable income than they used to a lot of times their mortgages are you know paid off or close to being paid off they don’t have as much debt so our my audience has a lot more disposable
Income if your audience is young moms um then you probably aren’t going to find that they’re going to have as much disposable income or stay-at-home moms aren’t going to have as much disposable income so it really just depends on your Market as well you have to know your
Market you have to know your customer you have to know what they struggle with when they have you know the most just disposable income and that’s whenever you will time your launches okay guys I’m really really really sorry that I did not take any questions from the graphics I had them
