[Applause] good now Goods good morning New Hampshire this is New Hampshire track and field powered by Runner alley we are just a little bit into the 3K started a hair early on us but not to worry still plenty of racing to go with [Applause] it fortunately I’m not
Alone going to go ahead and introduce uh Ben Robinson of course and then in addition to him first time on the broadcast Nick good morning welcome Nick anopolis right Prett CL you you can say it there you [Applause] goop it’s a great day to have a great
Day is that it certainly is TR is a little cold little cold like minus 10 with the wind chill but uh we got a great race don’t have to worry about that cuz we are indoors today aren’t we and uh so in this heat you got the
Girls 3K kicking off there’s only one heat and we got 12 girls we got contesta Silva Isabelle GRL sukii folsome the Pinkerton Trio we got cazan marzol alaa LeBlanc ANUK Hayden s white Samantha priia philli Julia Reynolds Riley Morgan and Caitlyn Reynolds so I want to say those Reynold sisters from or those
Reynolds from uh timberlan they might be sisters I’m not sure but uh at this point in the race we got our three Pinker and girls the trio uh contesta Silva Isabella agrl and uh suuki fome right up there in the top three hitting a little bit of lap
Traffic I’ll be honest I don’t know much about the 3K really don’t nick uh what do you know about 3K it’s a it’s a long race especially on 160 meter indoor track but uh but yeah I mean a lot of times run in packs and then get going in the last you
Know half mile or so 800 meters so I believe this is the last 3K opportunity of the year I think next week is all about the relays and then there’s just a 4×8 no 3K in that final meet FL state meet is that a f
Sex I don’t know I actually have no idea State meat State meat at the one before um I think they’re all states they’re all here I don’t know you back in uh high school you know what’s that 12 12 13 years ago now wow all those meets were here all those final
Qualifying meets but yeah the the options back then were a little bit more limiting yeah for sure it’s nice to have someone about my age on here I’m the young in here you know I uh I did a workout on the on the track here last night uh it’s rough I’ll be honest
It’s not it’s not easy you know the once people run here enough gets a little gets a little muggy like any indoor track but the 160 m really makes it a little bit more tough and I was only doing 400 so I can’t imagine 3K here it’s a bit on the long [Applause]
Side [Applause] all right guys I don’t know if we said who’s in this oh I did you did I was on top man all right don’t you worry I was on top I was getting some I was getting some stuff uh kind of fixed up so you
Know you’re the producer here so we uh we need you all we can fill in when you’re not talking what do you think I think I could train you on the Fly I set it up easy today um you know in uh in or for the respect
Of of all these athletes I don’t think we’ll be doing that today all right well in that case you’re going to have to tell me who’s leading well I think at this point Pinker it’s the Pinkerton Trio but uh I don’t know who front hang on let’s let’s let’s take a look
So Silva and I want to say that Silva yeah I think LeBlanc just got passed cuz now Here Comes Here Comes GRL right up on the shoulder yes so we got Silva then GRL and then I think it’s suuki fsam and anuka Hayden fighting it out for that three spot right
Now it’s a little a little rough on the uh on the camera when they’re coming down on that back stretch just because of the uh weren’t you up there s that up I wasn’t I was up there it was a little tough it it was locked so we had to we
Had to squeeze on through uh but we made it work we made it work now have you been up there before Oh I love it up there love it up there it’s pretty uh it’s a fun spot pretty unique up there it is a fun spot it’s it’s a little
Sketchy cuz the you can see the the boards are well they’re not even really boards they’re just like little wooden lines but uh it’s it’s fun up there you know all right so I’ve been staring on that computer you guys are going to have to help me out who’s leading right now so
Uh we got Silva grin and fome and anuka Hayden I believe so lead went through the line perfect thank you Silva we’re in the number one on the hip so contesta Silva comes in 1047 it’s one of the fastest in the state right now does anyone know how to say
Uh that name cuz I always say it as GRL but it could be Gro Gro you know I’m not I’m not exactly sure do you know do you know Mr Greg Hall no okay well it’s going to be GRL until uh five to go for Silva so five to
Go means that she has 800 me left if you use some quick math on the 160 m track times 5 it’s going to be 800 me left so half a mile Silva comes in third overall in the state second in D2 behind Eli Cross of exitor D1
Yes can see her there she just made the pass over teammate again un definitely a unique setup up uh the way they have their track so definitely a little bit harder for spectators as well as us to kind of follow along all the action but thankfully we have the best producer in
The game don’t we what’s davio doing Davio’s not Davio’s back here you know he would agree that you’re the best producer in the game would you would you agree that the best producer in the game yeah yeah you’re right up you’re right on up there though davio oh Davio’s right there
Right oh he’s right on up there once you tavio who’s up on camera right now is it Patrick yes Patrick can you hear us uh just barely just barely you can you can turn us up man you’ve got the [Applause] power so again 3K on a 160 track very
Spread out got two to go two to go for the leader yep just over 300 me here some good math right there I know I’ll be doing it all day all day I’m still in school you know you andh [Applause] baby Silva moving pretty good see at this point on the smaller
Track with uh with how spread out it is it’s a little tough to to figure out who who’s in second yeah we know it is what three Pinkerton here we go Bell for Silva it is the there Silva comes through at the bell at 10 flat she’s got 150 meters left in this
Race Patrick’s going to do a good job right now to follow her all the way through hopefully she can hit this lap traffic here kind of propel her and she is going to make the [Applause] pass coming around with about 40 m to go
This is going to be a very solid time I think it’s going to be a big PR here yeah she’s moving up on the season time 31 which moves her up she is now the leader in D1 with a 1031 over Eli cross so Silva with a brilliant race There and here comes second Pinker Runner coming went through in 1053 1054 fome finishes in [Applause] third so your top three the Pinker and Trio believe they were all all state and cross country I think Silva gr and folsome and coming in in the fourth
Spot who are we going to have who we going to have Jared to go through the top three times yes yes well not the times I can’t get the results well Silva uh but it was Silva 1031 19 Guru of Pinker in 1052 22 fome Pinker in 1055
74 this gu’s yeah I dropped the ball on that you guys trying real hard to look at the times right in we we didn’t we couldn’t find them there everyone else saw him before we did so it all works out so those three had quite the gap on
Fourth there which was another Pinker in it was the Blanc finishes an 1150 Hayden rounds at your top five at 1152 following up we got another Pinker and marzol in 1159 just barely breaking 12 there Morgan of Windam in 1201 Campbell of psmith in 1216 and that’s all I can see right now
So uh oh and now I got Philip Pinkerton 1224 yeah it’s hard to to see the future ones when they haven’t happened yet oh I got two more Morgan Windham in 1240 Reynolds and Reynolds of timberlan within a second of each other at 1259 so looks like we got boys uh
Getting ready was a fun little 3K there got the boys coming up though in their 3K I’ll read those out to you you got handovers Andrew Valentino coming in with your top seat at 909 nand Jane of Handover as well Joseph gustaffson of Pinkerton Jack debono of londondary
Jason Roby of pinkan Ben hardigan of hover Cole Burns of Nash North Tristan Plum of maram Oscar demilio of Pinker and landing grelin of Co Brown Alexander gagman of Goffstown and Quinn frobert of Co Brown we have some big some some some heavy hitting teams here today don’t you you
Got Handover Pinker and Co Brown London Derry are both the Nash is here do we know Portsmouth what do you want me to just run down all the teams here I mean you could I I don’t think it would best idea could no well maybe you know short I
Think so morning session we got Co Brown golf down Handover London n Manchester Central Memorial and West marac Valley marac Milford nashille North Pinkerton Portsmouth Stevens timberlan Trinity Wilton lindenboro and Windam for the morning let you handle the afternoon this afternoon I’ll do it in the
Afternoon that’s a lot of it’s a lot of schools there a lot of names a lot of names so uh shout out to all of our Wilton lindoro fans uh where is that though I’m not exactly sure it’s in New Hampshire is it is it lindab bur or lineboro I don’t
Know let’s take a look it’s uh it’s over near Milford it’s Wilton Lon bro yeah I think last week I asked M Hurst Wilton yeah I asked uh where one of the schools are from and the schools name was just a town yeah so I was like where are they from like what
Town are they from it’s not a good one to do yeah and Coach Cox was uh wasn’t impressed all right here we go start of the boys 3K this one a little bit uh crowded bunched up to start if it’s anything like the girls we’ll see them get spread
Out and we can see right away early lead from Andrew Valentino Andrew entered at a 909 top time in the state right now 8:41 from loo he is not in this race although coob Brown’s here I know he’s racing tomorrow he’s racing the 1K over at Harvard I’m racing the uh mile [Applause] har well right now you got a pretty
Distinct pack of three right up front led by Valentino and then you got gagnet of go toown I want to say that is and then yeah it should be he’s the only uh G toown here so and then Tristan from maram we’ll see we’ll see what these
Boys can do here here so again Valentino [Applause] gagan it’s a young group only one senior in the field yeah that’s I I feel like at this point in this season you know a lot of the the more experienced guys typically they already have a a time that they’re
They’re good with and feel comfortable with and they might be doing something else or like in uh Loo’s case going to a a a different venue for the weekend but yeah I mean this is last chance for for a lot of these guys to get that time increased and improve and
Uh qualify for States how you doing up there Pat can you hear me I don’t think you can hear me he’s focused man I’ll be honest uh last week when I was on camera over at P State I was uh I I was I was roolling
Around with the camera job who lost the shoe oh good call who was that it was green it’s Pinkerton we’ll find out pretty soon right there on the outside he’s moving up though I think it was gust number three it’s it’s Joseph with Pinkerton he kicked off the dead weight he’s trying
To make a move with it the Freshman lost his shoot you never like to see that but I I’ll be honest I like to see it it makes it a little bit more interesting that’s always fun it’s like a it’s like a fall in cross country you
Know you don’t like to see it but it’s it’s fun when it happens not for that person yeah you’re the type of guy who cheers for fall starts though to get guys out of there so I like I I’m a soccer guy man I like I like seeing the
Red cards showing I like so we can see here our Chase pack Valentino has pulled away slightly he’s uh coming across the line now so about 15 20 m in front of Jane of Hanover his teammate so now at this point your uh your top four have kind of established
Themselves Valentino Jane guson and debono all kind of in their respective spots here separating themselves from the field good battle there though Jane and Jack so think if you lose one shoe it’s more beneficial to try and lose the other cuz I feel like you’re a little you’re a little a little higher stacked on one side you know lucky for him it’s the inside shoe that he lost so get the
Little advantage on the bank yeah small Bank on in Lane one maybe that’ll become the the norm from now on you got you got your inside shoe off probably not well I could thinking not has anyone ever done any research on that makes you faster
Why don’t you try it your next race you know what if it worked they’d be doing it by now I just might it’ be fun so Ben you’re more of a middle distance guy um yes I think we’ve we’ve talked about it before I’m more of the the
Shorter stuff and some jumps and uh I am finally not alone cuz Nick your your wheelhouse is a little bit shorter as well yeah spr hurdle jumps and some jumps a lot of fun yeah good stuff some multis on occasion so multis are fun what are multis heptathlon decathlon
Pentathlon see I’ve wanted to do those cuz I feel like I can Sprint like an average Sprinter I feel like I can do distance like a slightly above average distance guy and I’m okay at Mid distance but I’ll be honest I get scared going and jumping like I’ve never long
Jumped before cuz I’m like I’m too scared to do that you know yeah yeah in any event no fear got to go and attack it it’s a little stressful high jumps even scarier look at that about pval oh don’t get me started on pval but Oscar just made a big
Move he is your nine seed coming in making the move on Jane and [Applause] toono yeah I would totally do some of that fun like tlon stuff if there wasn’t any throwing and jumping events you know if we just stuck to the that takes all that takes if you just take half the
Events of the events if we just stuck to the five of the seven stuck to the running events track events I think I would do all right well if you’re if you’re concerned about long jump you might be concerned about hurdles too we’ll see what I what well a little bit
I was originally my sophomore year going in uh or junior year going in one to work on the 300 hurdles okay and then we realized six to go for our leader Val too hard to get the the form down Y and I just didn’t want to work on it that
Much A lot of reps yeah and I was like I could just go out and do an easy run for my easy run instead of doing all this work on the hurdle so I’m going to do that instead you know hey guys you you’re watching this battle for a second
Right we saw Oscar get up there Oscar had a big move all right just want to make sure it wasn’t [Applause] me [Applause] again Andrew leading five to go now see he has broken away significantly on the pack hence why Pat is uh opted to try follow the battle here we’ll pick up
That uh we’ll pick up Valentino in a second excuse me I wonder where my uh oh boy Joseph’s that with this one shoot here he comes comes through the line [Applause] Yeah just like we saw in the girls these guys all spread out Valentino pretty significant lead now but that’s Oscar in second leading that pack that pack is kind of the the 234 those guys all on that lead lap and your last your uh your battle for second
Place they got about 600 me to go here Valentino through the line three to go Oscar might have might have burned a little too quickly trying to make a move cuz Jane passes him up and now Jack is looking to pass him up as well Oscar
Says no sir takes it back matches the move on the inside he’s just got to match it on this on this turn here Jane of Hanover is looking to put it to him [Applause] Jane [Applause] Oscar is two to go close to the rail Jack just goes outside takes the
Lead and he’s looking really [Applause] good Valentino though is is is long Gone Valentino’s on his Bell lap at 855 so about 150 M to go here he’s picking it up he is picking it up that’s a kick [Applause] man probably looking at a sub 925 probably not 928 so he’s going to come in just over 920 here at 922 46 922 46 for your winner Andrew Valentino of Handover and now we’ll see what this battle for second has got for us oh close finish oh Oscar I think Oscar got still got it maybe not I don’t know if that was osar I think that was Roby number nine
Roby I think Oscar was just behind him it was Roby ooh close battle by 0.1 012 seconds Roby takes it in 93721 over de brono in 93723 and then Oscar in 940 flat Jane rounds at your top five at 942 and hardigan of Handover and 9952 you got three handovers in your top
Six there it’s it’s a good little good little showing from those boys you know they won the the cross country state meet very deep distance Squad also got Plum of marac in 10:05 and burns of Nashville North in 10:09 Quinn finishing up there so we can see hurdles getting out there and
Uh while we wait for those to get set up we’ll just throw the cam on some long and high jump I’ll let you guys talk about whatever I got to go move a camera sure real quick shout out to all of our uh UNH track and field athletes volunteering
Today putting in that good honest work got the got the girls 55 hurdles once these hurdles get all set up we’re going to have how many Heats do we got we got one two three Heats in the 55 and I believe we’re going to have finals I think so based on the seeds
Seeds look so it’s going to be top six in the finals we got some uh some heavy heaters in the hurdles here top seeds going to be Miram NADA of Portsmouth the senior coming in with an 895 and then her second highest seed Bristol Sherin The
Freshman might have a little bit of a senior verse freshman battle here Bristol comes in with a 922 Victoria Ford of Memorial a 928 round night your top three and the rest of your athletes we’re going to have Tiana Brown of North Sarah fry of North Molly wheel
Wheelie of Pinkerton abriel Collier of marac Molly Flynn of Portsmouth Joselyn bftt of Portsmouth Kaia monzel of Timberlane Ava Becker of central Delane Manning of Co Brown Eva Simpson of hover Isabella cornaro of of Milford and Montana speed of Co Brown it’s a great running name speed you’re just going through everyone
Sometimes well I did this time but did did you run down Heats say individually Heats or you just going through the name I just went through the name into the all right you you just want to you want to give everyone some time I love it what a fun name speed is
Though I I wish I had like a cool running name you know like Ben Robinson doesn’t really strike fear into my opponents when I step up to the line you know which was like Ben speed I feel like I would I feel like I’ll be pretty intimidating you
Know I mean you could change your last name I don’t know I’m I’m I’m proud of my last name you know I didn’t think you would but oh no I no you’re saying you’re proud of it but yet you want it to be speed how do you say your last
Name Nick athanasopoulos a anthopoulos yeah yeah that strikes fear into insert uh back in the day that name certainly did uh Nick is a a pretty good athlete where did you run mad knad yeah we were yeah we were in D2 back then up until my senior year then we were D3 but
Indor you know it’s all one so you guys have another uh pretty impressive hurdler too Gavin Laro yep he’s a beast all right here we go NADA in Lane three she’s going to be your favorite here and well ahead right now takes that great race from NADA
There comfortable so she will more than more than definitely Advance with a 9114 um missing some data there it’ll catch up I don’t know who it was there it goes but uh getting there might have been some uh last minute receding so we don’t have the exact names with times just yet canting
All sorted out but we do have that replay where we can kind of see that finishing order there and there we go um it’s slowly piecing together so we’ll throw it on 9.13 from nada how that you guys handle the uh the intricate details of hurdling here
Hurling yeah you got to be aggressive you got to attack it hurdle downhill three step in between hopefully and go make it happen what does hurdle downhill he’s not asking a lot hurdle downhill yeah tell us about that hurdle downhill well when you with your lead leg right
The leg that’s up front that’s going over the hurdle you want to get that up and go down you don’t want to spend too much time in the air I get you snap down snap it down yep in this heat we got of Milford Flynn of Portsmith sherlin of C Brown fry of
North and Becker of central sherland looking to take it and she is going to pretty comfortably going to be behind n’s top time so far looks like a 95 943 from Sherin Flynn comes in just over 10 seconds fry 106 and Becker in 108 Milford of or cornaro of Milford
1126 so sherin’s Shirley advancing to the finals you like that you like that little play on words I thought that was good it was great thank you I appreciate it thank you be honestly I wasn’t paying attention to you you were you were I might be biased
But I think this is the most fun event on the track I don’t know man I’m you’re absolutely biased I’m totally just not on the same page as you fair that one fair enough no I I enjoy hurdles cuz like a good hurdler just looks so smooth exactly I agree with
That 3 that’s why I’m standing up now and you guys are sitting down you know well in this we got I got a few things going on yeah I know we got a speed of Co Brown bankr of Portsmouth Ford of Memorial Brown of North and monel of
Timberlane your top seed is going to be Ford of Memorial with a 9 to8 and brown comes in with a 966 so those two definitely looking to advance on to the finals here yeah Brown and Ford both look like they’re hurdling downhill yeah North With the Wind
There I like you throwing in that new terminology take a look at the replay here Ford comes in with a 917 just in front of brown with a 9176 which rounds up to a 918 I thought that’s what I thought sorry to all of you uh all of you Victoria Ford
Supporters uh Brown won it in 91 76 and Ford comes in with a 955 round your top three there was 1066 from onel so now the hurdles are going up for the Boys yeah again you see those times out to the Thousand the thousandth position always will round up it does not follow traditional math rules so if it’s you know a two in the Thousand spot that goes all the way up so that 10 712 becomes a 1072 that can sometimes trip some people
Up that that threw Jimmy off a couple weeks ago Jimmy not not much throws Jimmy Mac off no he is a he is a Smart Cookie yeah I mean to be fair to him he’s a little bit more distance Orient you know he doesn’t really care about the the hunds usually so that’s
Okay how many Heats we got of this we got three Heats again again top six advance in the finals heat one we’re going to have Sebastian shatz of timberlan Justin lepin of Windam Matthew Morrison of Pinkerton he is a dog I interviewed him last year good guy Arnold kasango of London Derry and
Charles sasco cavas of Milford uh Morrison comes in as your resounding top seed by just about a second with a 784 and then lepin and Kango of Windam and London da respectively are both at 882 so for a big race out of Morrison here the junior we also got a confirmation of who
Advance Le finals in the girls 55 hurdles it’s going to be Miriam NADA of Portsmith Tiana Brown of North Bristol sherlin of Co Brown Victoria Ford of Memorial Molly wheie of Pinkerton and abriel Coler of marac we got Nick standing up again getting ready for this
First heat oh I forgot they uh they run the finals back to back here at UNH yeah yeah less hurdle movement so here we go women’s final so people excuse me a lot of times commentators will will say how tough it is to go back and back like this I
Always say no issue it’s a 55 your thoughts I mean I think from a technical perspective there is something to be said for not going back to back but um yeah it’s good training for future meets and I mean it’s like you know you get to
The end of the season you’re you think about what you do in workouts like it shouldn’t be it’s definitely not the F usually I mean a lot of time regardless a lot of times you see faster times in the final anyway so right who do we got I got sherland
No I I’ve always kind of viewed it as it’s not like it’s taxing it’s more of a extra warm-up type thing because if if you’re one of those top people who are going to qualify for the the finals anyway yeah like you don’t have to worry about qualifying no you just go execute
Your race get to the finish and move on to the next yeah you’re still you’re still warming up I had a athlete years ago who you know he’s like coach I’m feeling really good should I scratch from this like to focus on the he wanted
To scratch from the dash to focus on the I’m like no it’s a warm up yeah no I used to have I used to coach uh cross cross country and track but specifically when coach hurdles um you know we’d have our hurdlers and warm-ups go through basically an entire race at least five
Hurdles ahead of time just to make sure they’re fully warmed up so you know you can consider this prelim that they just happened their warm up they just happened their warm up so there we go here here we go finals of the girls 55 meter hurdles they’re getting into their blocks now good
Start nada’s getting over the hurdles First Co Brown’s coming on Sherin right there it’s going to be NADA then sherland then I honestly not too sure but NADA comes in below her prelim time in a 9205 winning it though that’s all that matters sh comes in less than a
Second behind a 927 Brown of north round at your top three and 9633 then you got Ford wheelie and Collier BR at your top six there it’s a fun fun little race hurdles moving up uh shout out Chris Stevens real quick uh he he shout out Contessa for the the
15sec drop and battle notes and absolutely I mean you know she she had a really good race nice and clean and again do it on a 160 track can definitely be hard especially if you don’t have anyone running right next to you so um absolutely Chris Speaking of Chris I think the
300’s going to be the uh the race of the day at States man yeah you got some some poys in there we’ve got a lot of fast sprinters this year I I like it on the the guy side J was crazy could see three four honestly I’m not too sure three guys
Under 35 maybe on a really good day all right heat one of the boys how many Heats we got three we got three you got shat lein and Morrison kasango and sasco in here Morrison again your resounding favorite here and yep there he goes well out in
Front I don’t even think that was his best race that was an 802 right there for Morrison Kango goes 915 and leping goes 93 round at your top three I always felt like it was harder to hurdle here because you can’t wear spikes yeah I I think you know there’s
There’s some events that can really mess with you and throw you off and hurdle is absolutely one of them when you just you practice the the repetition of the steps and knowing exactly how far you are and your stride length and everything yep um high jump they do allow it because it is
More of a safety concern with that heel slipping out um that being said you’ll notice a lot of the high jumpers don’t wear high jump shoes but that’s that’s okay um I had highp shoes and I didn’t end up using them as much as I thought I
Would it depending on conditions but I honestly I felt like they were just a little bit too heavy to to get the heels up just that extra little bit y yeah know a lot of high jumpers use just regular jump spikes yeah yeah those usually work pretty fine this seat Wilder carrian of
Portsmith Rudy fer of Memorial Josh Kelly of Portsmouth Reynolds of marac Valley Mason Dand of North and Brogan gzowski of Co Brown I think I got that that name right here we go got a nice three-way battle up here and it’s going to be Kelly of Portsmouth
Followed by Reynolds of MV Reynolds a real a real multi- multi- tool Swiss army knife type of guy you know what I mean he can run the the 600 the 1K the 300 the her but Kelly goes 866 rold 886 Danto 947 around top three and then fricker
Carrian and gzowski in their respective places in four through six so Kelly and Reynolds are definitely on to the finals here your bubble time going into the finals a 954 so right now you’ve got no maybe not hang on not 954 yet hasn’t updated give me a
Second got two guys in this next he 869 seed top seeds but you have Co Brown and Powell of Handover Lanes three and four Aiden Powell he’s a real he’s a three actually both of these guys scored at uh States pretty highly in the 300 hurdles bubble time is
943 it’s going to be a battle between Lee and Powell I got to pick my co brown boy though he looked good last week maybe he can make it up looks like Powell’s going to take it there and those two will be getting into the finals pow goes 852 Lee and 867 L
Roan 920 and little of marac and 94 welder and Gregor of Handover rounding five and six spots so we’re looking at Morrison Powell Kelly and Lee right with each other Reynolds and I want to say it’s kasango to uh to give you your finals I could be wrong but I think I
Did that right uh couple of things from chat I want to call out on uh first Silva uh her 1031 makes it number three in pinkin history pinkton pretty big school so that’s pretty legit you know huge school that’s that’s a pretty good move up for
For her uh Steven’s calling it right now you ready for this you’re reading it right now there’s going to be a battle in definitely state record he’s calling there being a state record what is state record for 300 yeah uh for that we’ll have to can take a look take let’s take
A gander over at the 300 state record it’s pretty quick I’m going to guess 3459 I’m going to get state record Dominic Worley back in ‘ 05352 Manchester yep Manchester Central Central yeah he was I think the 200 record too outoor yeah he was uh he was pretty quick so
Who does he say he’s got him Brooks Morrison as in Morrison in the hurdles right now and what’s that last name Shiner Shiner I’ll be totally honest with you I don’t know who that is but if Chris says he’s fast he’s fast so Chris knows his stuff man Chris know
Chris keeps up even with the distance events man yeah Ethan Shiner of uh Nash South well I think well Brooks ran 35 something and then Chris ran 35 something that some meat I saw yeah I mean you you think about it like you throw the the spikes on them yeah yeah
But a half a second and a 300 or a second and a 300’s a lot you’re running that fast to be fair Chris was he was complaining about the uh I saw his post on Instagram he was complaining about the backstretch of that track which one I don’t
Know if I had East Coast championships oh oh East Coast championships yeah yeah yeah East Coast invite I was down there last week in Rhode Island um yeah it’s at the Providence tech center or something like that that’s a nice track yeah it’s Noto surface yeah Chris Chris did pretty well
Down there he has some good competition Sprints this year are stacked but you got your finals here let’s see if I was right and I think I totally was yep Reynolds Kelly Morrison pow Lee and cango in the one through six Lanes Morrison out to an early lead
Powell Kelly and Lee right there fighting for second Lee Falls por Smith second break he he’s a good he’s a he’s a good sport though Morrison winning it 792 Kelly an 846 Powell 860 exactly uh Reynolds in 877 Kango in just about 9 seconds and Lee gets DED off of the
Fall almost got stepped on there by kasango that wouldn’t have been good I do think Lee was already qualified for States though so at least that’s that’s good so you said that you thought the 55 hurdles was the most exciting event in the track didn’t you uh on the indoor
Track yes the 110 is outdoor but I mean I I like watching I love watching a good 1500 in a too so uh it just depends they’re all great events in my opinion I think indoors and so you’re totally biased towards the hurdles I like the 600 indoor too I’m totally biased towards
The six and the onek but everyone loves the 1500 you know it’s the classic event see my only issue with the 15 is a lot of times you get doubles from the 3K which is fine but like I want to see 15 where everyone’s fresh and that’s the
Focus I think that would be a phenomenal race to watch that would be scary had that but at those big meats the best Runners are usually dou it and so no one’s fresh double or triple I we just start we start a meet with a 15 but I guess to
Be fair outdoor the 16 is a little bit more Premier in that case so yeah it it it reverses it’s all [Applause] right hey just uh Cameron’s sister just showed up of course Paul Walter at UNH former uh I guess you’re always a New England champ
Right that’s how that works I don’t know I guess so I wouldn’t know she’s got her camera so I won’t bother her too much totally forgot to read off the names here uh oh it’s Alexis best of Maram you didn’t need to read that one huh no no no she is a premier Sprinter I don’t know I think at the high school level I like watching the 800 um at the at the professional level though the 15 is is the best event at
This point yeah I mean they’re all I love watching them all they all have their intricacies that make them great I wish like watching all of them you know I I could watch track all day all day every day I agree with that oh he came to the right spot then huh yeah
Here we are I like watching triple jump to be honest well in the second j a lot of fun the I know that was the one thing I wasn’t too scared to do I couldn’t do long jump but I could do triple jump HE2 getting to the
Line we got uh Roy of maram fry of North doubling back from the hurdles Jenkins of pouth bra of Pinker carer of Portsmouth and cam Seward of Milford Lily Jenkins is a pretty safe pick here she’s been running great all year but whoa four Nora of Pinker and the sophomore
Puts down a great race oh I got it right all right so noros Pinker it with a 764 Jenkins in 772 fry in 797 Carter in8 o Roy in 83 and Seward of 84 so that’s going to be your second heat of five and in this third heat you got
The some may say the Sprint queen of New Hampshire Harriet Barber there are a few other names up there ad has kind of been labeled that especially in outdoor she is a beast in the one and the two but Harriet Barber a three and a four specialist hopping into the 55 here with
A 748 seed time and rounding up the rest of her Heats jilan Caruso of timberlan Tiana man of Manchester Central Eva Roberts of Pinkerton Emerson a pray of timberlan and Shannon Ross of Co brown barber is generally a safe pick in any race that she is
In I think she ran like 56 high or 57 low in there so she’s pretty fast but right up there with her that’s going to be Roberts of Pinker she’s going to out lean her at the line there so Barber comes in with the ti the
Fastest time so far with a 754 I think no second fastest time Alex best 748 but Barbara with a 740 or 754 Roberts with a 761 man aiel Ross Caruso round that your three through six spots so at this point you’re going to need probably below a
Seven 7 eight to get into got two more Heats maybe a probably 773 is probably that bubble time yeah so yeah 773 is the bubble time let’s see how many girls we got we have two girls gardano of Milford and Rodriguez of Memorial under that bubble time of
773 you got Lauder of West who’s right there at 788 and Le Silva and mcabby running their other three spots in this Heat Zano with that Gano let’s see if she got in I think she definitely did but we’ll just confir oh that can’t be right no Rodriguez is second right J so Rodriguez with a 774 just over that bubble time she needed to get into the finals gono’s time has still not popped
Up for some reason she’s definitely under that 773 bubble time though I’m not sure what her finishing time was uh but going into the last Heat we got Sherin of Co Brown MCN of Pinkerton Miriam NADA of Portsmouth Janelle Thomas of North Ava George pink and Tess kukus of Co Brown NADA and
Janelle Thomas are both pretty safely expected to get into the finals here those are another two uh Elite sprinting girls in the state sherland and NADA coming back from this uh from this 55 hurdles final so not much of a uh not much of a break for them
Gono 775 so she is going to be just over that bubble time gono does not get in the finals there this last Heat You’re Expecting NADA and Thomas to get into the finals [Applause] here [Applause] Thomas and n off to a great start Thomas takes the win there in 7539
NADA in 7583 mcti just over that seed or bubble time George kukus and sherland rounding at Fourth oh yep four through six spots 765 a cut off right I think so yeah yes so those 773 girls Jenkins and brown going to be booted right on out of
The uh of the finals and uh we got Thomas and NADA coming in the finals now unlike the hurdles we’re going to have the boys 55 prelims before the girls finals um again it’s just a little easier with the hurdles to keep them at the same height and then you can
Move them over to the higher height for the boys uh prelims and finals and we are already getting into the 55 dash for the boys in heat one we’re going to have Ethan nck of coob brown Anthony Alon alonte of marac uh ooni of Trinity he’s
A beast I think he made new englands last year in the 100 Outdoors uh Leo garino of Portsmouth and Lucas Palma of ler first of five [Applause] heaths and oo Roni is quite the Sprinter yeah he uh he did not look like he was going all out at
The end nor did he have to be not at all but there are some other pretty fast times in here we’ll hope that can hold up I’m sure it will it’s a seven it’s a 6.69 so yeah he kind of he kind of slowed down a little bit there just cruising it
In so I don’t know how how much strain is there after a 55 like do you really got to like work or you know like you got to be going during the race but after the race are you like tired I feel like you can just kind my opinion is no
Yeah usually not usually it’s like if you’re in shape I feel like if you’re fast you’re fast you know I mean it again to to an extent you’re you’re talking about a 55 when your workouts you know you’re you’re ranging up to like 200s 300 400
Sometimes at Max so it’s like yeah 55 should not be taxing right 55 is a piece of Cake 200 I think is a bit different though yeah 200 you’re allowed to be winded From I always liked uh at the senior meets or I guess our our one senior meet we uh all the distance guys hopped in the 200 and just had a good just had a good little time you know no one really ran fast but it was fine Morrison doubling back from the
Hurdles no problem there convincing win here the claps of the background for the shot put I’ll be honest I don’t think I’ve ever seen clap for shot put is that like a usual thing yeah it is I thought that jum jumps jumps and throws yeah saw some uh 60 foot throwers
Last weekend they got some collaps going 60 foot throw oh yeah 60 plus man there’s two of them it it was their last throw of uh finals too and they had [Applause] it I don’t know if that was quite 60 feet but that was a far throw uh anyways back
Onto the track you got heat F or nope sorry heat three the 55 meter dash you’re going to have Ben Walters of Pinkerton DeAndre mallister of Portsmouth Aiden Bradley of Hanover Wyatt F fuger of Central and John IG Eng of London Derry yeah I uh I know I know uh I know
Two high jumpers yeah I know uh I know Tom tberry from Italy and I know the guy he split the gold with in in Tokyo now how do you know them because I I I watched all the Olympics okay back back then Baran I forget I forget the rest of his
Name I know those two high jumpers Fair start for heat three tight race It’s Bradley and over in front hand over right Bradley’s one of the top 300 runners in the state as well you see that double quite a bit in the 55 and the 300 so Bradley with a 689 mallister with
A 697 and blaz round out your top three and a 703 move on to heat four you got Rudy fricker of Memorial Joe Martin of hover 400 Beast uh Luca cable of Marram Kaden misho of Pinkerton Cameron Williams of Windham Kaden misho yep thinking of the right guy he
Broke 11 in the 100 last year in out door that’s a pretty impressive time man he’s a football stud I think I wonder if Kevin Brooks is racing he’s not it’s a little upsetting to be honest with you so I think cable and Misha are going
To be right there Martin as well could put a little bit of a contest in those three inside Lanes I don’t know what that guy said something about acceleration in the third third s yeah most of this race is acceleration it’s me show and Cable cable is it cable
Just barely takes it yep misho was right there let’s take a look at this race replay here slowing it down right now oh called it that was clean that was clean it’s almost like I pushed the button when you said to yeah no I like that I
Like that cable with a 685 and Nisha with a 689 Martin with a 72 then on screen there you can see Williams and fricker with the 72 and 74 respectively got one more heat here he five5 we’ve got Chandler marac in Lane one Kum Central in two Michael
Of timberlan in three Travis Pinkerton in four taan of summersworth in five and Joshua of Milford in Lane six all right final heat little maram I knew you were going to do that what I just I just read him off oh come on man you know that’s been my job all
Day yeah but you were you were busy talking to your fans you can just have all the jobs then dece and and slow it down and all that oh got a false start red card this is what I live for man that was a late gun that was a late L
Gun I am now I apologize to whoever is about to get booted from this race but I love seeing the red card but we had Lane five open to begin with um late gun I don’t think the clock started oh that’s if I if I turn that off we can see cuz
If you if you look at it on the screen I I put the actual race clock up everyone looks good and smooth there the clock did not or the yeah the clock didn’t start so the timers didn’t get the time which is why you got the late gun there
So really all we get to do right now as they sort that out is take a look at these guys in their start well I think uh cavalo Pinker had quite the start yeah he was he was out well there he comes in with a 686 my boy Michael Savage with the
Mullet 685 green card yeah try this again I’ll be honest I I’m happy for the guys I’m a little disappointed we didn’t see a card there terrible see if there was the state meet it would be different then I feel bad it’s like oh man that sucks well in the
Heptathlon the cathlon or pentathlon too for the women um the whole each person gets one false start so what you could you could be there for a while if you have eight Lanes on a track in theory you should just keep false starting say usually each person gets
One so you can’t do it twice but you can do it once right but if you just go down the line it’s like yeah so you can try to jump the gun oh there he goes again kavalo with a good start now the bubble time was a 698 we haven’t seen cavalo’s
Time Cavo it might be Cavo I’m usually pretty good with names sometimes you just don’t know though uh but no one from this heat is going to be making into the finals there they’re all above seven seconds but we we do have the girls 55 finals which is going to be Eva Roberts
And pink from Pinkerton Harriet Barber of central Alexis best of mar mael Thomas of North Miriam n of Portsmouth and Nora Bal BR gr of Pinker make your pick boys who do you got who do you got best is the top seed I’ll take
Barber I’ve got a she got that dog got a brush up on my New Hampshire I’ll go with Thomas yeah that’s that’s that’s a good pick there we go we we’ve got three different picks going on we we made you pick Alexa best by the way that’s fine
I’ll pick Alexis here we go maram you said best was that not what you meant that’s what I meant all right best is the best I’m a big marac imitational fan I not we had me a Champs there back in high school two years in a row yeah
2010 2011 spring we had me a Champs where did we have them Junior and Senior year we had him at uh sandborn and then Oyster River I always had meet a Champs at un that was the old series of doing it at sophomore year we had it here yeah that
Was a the track was was a different track different Stadium back then well then preo preo I think 2017 19 something like that they had it back here as well yeah we started getting back into it and like we had we had just gotten back into the the groove of having the the
Championships here um and then Co happened they didn’t allow us they had to redo the track again because of a drainage issue with the track literally crumbling below it um so this year we are we’re back here for meita Champions and and new englands as well and new
Englands so and yeah I mean when we had new englands here I think 2018 yeah absolutely phenomenal venue with it with the new stadium new track so I I think it’s going to be a lot of fun yeah the Stadium’s pretty cool I was here officiating I think it was the triple
Jump yeah yep a lot of fun big triple jump guy oh yeah all right some finals action here we go all right so I got lane two Greg Hall stand up oh oh no I think my pick this always gives people anxiety you know what just happened uh the gun didn’t go
Off is that a green card Green Card yep okay thought my pick was getting DQ never a fan of that Hy seeing [Applause] dqs unfortunately it’s part of the part of the race sometimes yeah I was joking I love it again standing up again looks like a slight issue there little little shoe
Tie action going on it’s all about how you respond though same for everyone I mean you practice this hundreds of times like I I never felt like it would rattle you if there was a false start or a weird thing it’s just like you’re used to it yeah Fair start here we
Go Barber’s in the lead Oh Thomas is right there wow it’s almost like I knew it barara takes the win I think we gave you first pick right uh no good time first pretty darn good time there I think I had first pick 737 737 736 if you round down but you don’t
So 737 uh good time there from Barber Thomas with a 749 it’s going to be a 750 though best with a 751 not a 762 Roberts with a 764 and Braille in 769 Barber was out that’s their best time on the year right I think so I
Think so by long by long shot it’s probably number her uh yeah her best in the state coming in was a 748 that puts her second does it not so 737 moves her up to second in the state behind Alexis best who was also in that
Race Now we move on to the boys finals in the 55 you want to read that out for me Nick yeah we’ve got Mead at of Pinkerton cable from marac o rby from Trinity Morrison Pinkerton Bradley from Handover and mallister in lane6 from Portsmith all right since you were being
A poor sport who do you got I’ll give you first pick yeah yeah I’ll give you guys first pick who do you got I got it wrong last time so we go with Trinity Nehemiah I wanted him yeah I did too yeah all right I’ll go with Mor and then
Well no win the hurdles you know win the 55 too all right you want him I’ll take uh I’ll take Mish show just cuz he’s a Sub sub 11 guy and so nobody nobody picked the winner I thought Greg did okay good I was going to say if I didn’t get
Upset yeah so 660 for oi Morrison 669 cable and 68 me show 68 Bradley 69 and mallister 71 up next is the one great R from the boys there 1K great race two Heats girls we have two Heats of the girls oh we do okay
Well the first heat is going to be a heat of eight girls we’re going to have Sarah so Nikki of Portsmouth Gabriella Delong of London der Alice Bell Hanover Jan Sherman of Londoner ell de brono of Londoner Lily rson of pouth Megan mcder of Barack and fair and sweet of
Goffstown read all those out in one breath that was a little tough got it done though top seed coming in is sukan Nikki of Portsmith So just a nice little Spike check it’s good that they’re doing that keeping it fair for everyone as in no spikes for anybody yeah I don’t like it when uh when you go to a race and they do a spike check and then they put like a little little stick
Zip tie on it or something zip tie they zip tied my my spikes the the race I was a little upset about it used to uh I remember I probably still have a sticker from me to Champions um I don’t even know if I have the shoes but I I didn’t take the
Sticker off it was on they put little circle sticker on the the shoes saying they were good to go I don’t mind that I did have zip tie totally just messed with my bra I had a spike that would not come out of those shoes I had one of
Those too and it was too long you know what I did what I I grinded it down I didn’t have an option it was e that get a new pair I could not get it out I think I have my I took a grinder to it
Let me take a look how old were those shoes uh I didn’t uh pretty old they were pretty old yeah it was not here we go it’s off first two of the thousands off it’s weird that you knew they would be a little bit older yeah I wasn’t
Going to do that usually when they’re stuck you know when they’re stuck in like that it just depends though no I I um I had my Sprinter spikes for for quite a while I I opted to instead of getting new spikes I would do like I got
Some um high jump shoes some long jump shoes instead kind of uh built out that way I tell you the long jump shoes with the zipper man those are clutch yeah it keeps the a little less sand in your feet Yes those that was the best upgrade I ever made for
Sure well now they have the uh I mean they’re a few years old now but the the carbon fiber yeah spikes pretty nice get off the Track hate seeing that yeah they’re always people not paying attention guess that means we should start paying attention that could break anytime what could break that spike it doesn’t come out so it’s just all beat up now vice grips I think it’s Portsmith London we did that’s why it’s all beat
Up in the middle this looks like one of the uh who’s uh who’s leading right now uh suen Nicki and Portsmith honestly I didn’t know number one seed so you were correct and then we’ve got number two seed in in second as well right uh I believe that might actually be Sherman
Of London there mind I could be wrong though pardon me we’ll find out as they come around and it is indeed Sherman good call thousand’s a tough race you have used to have to run this in the uh heptathlon it’s like hard you got to run
Fast but you can’t run too fast but then you know it’s a it’s a challenge this is right up your this right in your wheelhouse right oh no no I’m well you said mid it should be but the you got to be tough granted I’ve only ran one onek
In my life and it was here and it was really bad uh I just didn’t know what to do so I was like I’m just going to go out and kind of Jog and then try and pick it up but you can’t really do that
So I didn’t run very good it’s all right Nick High School indoor what was the longest event you did well I did the I did the pent so one the 1K was you did that in high school yeah and uh where did you go for that uh Nike Nationals
And that new balance one year Nike the net or Nike the first and New Balance after that yeah nice uh in the pent but other than that we in the 600 once 600 had a slight hamstring issue um yeah it was fun yeah I was I
Was terrible at the 600 but I loved it as we got a pretty good race going here a lead change as well one yeah less than one to go it’s going to be [Applause] Sherman yeah she’s pushing it s Nikki so Nikki looking to uh make up this Gap
Here but with only about 40 m to go it’s tough to make up a gap it’s going to come in well under the seed [Applause] time Sherman good turnover and does indeed take the top spot over Sarah portzman sophomore versus sophomore in that race great battle for sh for third there between
Debono and was that sweet no that was a bell Sherman with a great race though what did you run the six 00 Mr Greg Hall oh was slow yeah yeah I have no idea I doubt that I you seem like a 600 guy so I think if I trained for it it would
Have been better I really enjoyed it it was one of my favorite events cuz I didn’t have to go all out which was nice yeah you don’t have to go all out but you got to be pretty close you want to run fast yeah I mean it’s just
My it’s a different training than there was no way I could carry my my top speed for 600 m that’d be stupid yeah what about you were you a big 600 guy you had a good time in the 600 no but it was fun
It was fun I I think I got it was it Dartmouth it was one of those first meets in December a good meet I think I was I got I don’t know I I’d never run it it was a believe it was 130. you could look on Direct that I the only
Video of I have of running is a 600 at year terrible quality as we’ve got heat too well we got white from North sheta from gos down Nolton Pinkerton Bard from marac Clinger from Windam wosi from North and hotton from Portsmith in this seat White currently leading it mdia
Portsmouth in second although second looks like is going to go ahead and get uh flipped around right now but Laura White definitely out in front early on in this 1K and I believe that’s Parker uh Parker Nolton now in second I haven’t heard from Pat in a
While I wonder if he can hear I I muted him oh he wasn’t talking so I I turned off no he really wasn’t talking that’s okay though you know I’ll turn it back on in case he’s paying attention so that hang on give me a minute Laura White Mas North for four to
Go Parker Nolton in second I believe that’s Cara of G down in third can see that lead continues to expand for white so how many laps is this like six once you get to the line cuz they start a little back yeah yeah 16 *
6 96 I feel like I’m doing well with my ma so far you know 60 good race for second yeah that’s a that’s a good battle right there they keep shifting [Applause] position think anytime you’re racing when when you’re in a pack there it’s a little more exciting more little more
Fun to do but I could never racing packs no I just like running out you run your own race yeah that’s fair well no I don’t actually okay I should I run out in front but my coach uh davio Del always gets mad at me cuz I don’t run my
Own race and I just get all nervous and get in my head okay but sometimes like a 600 when I run really fast out in front I run good strung out a bit more now yeah can see white the back stretch wh’s leag continues to
Expand and then we can take a look at that battle for second you know it’s Parker has uh gotten a few strides ahead now going to the Bell lap Laura White collects it Parker [Applause] Clinger and we’ll take a look at White she’s going to be able to finish things up came in with a 310 she’s under that Mark top three are all under their Seeds it’s a fun Race so white comes in with 30701 notton with a 312 Clinger and 315 round at your top three they got Bard Shido wowski wosi sorry and hton to round out your four through seven spots you move on to the boys 1K we’re going to have how many Heats are we going to
Have we’re going to have two Heats o that second heat is going to be fun anyways this first heat we got it we got some boys in here we got top seed the first seat Nathaniel Bergen of marac Pinker you got Cody senta mimo will wh of Milford Austin saprano of Pinkerton
Nico rali of Portsmouth Ben Jeffrey of marac Valley Grant scupin of Milford and Samuel Beck of Windom there we go First Command [Applause] given we got we got a hat we got we got Pinker wearing a hat here that’s Cody I’m a big fan of that
I think wearing a hat in in one of these races is just textbook who is that out in front there is that Nico yep Nico from Port [Applause] Smith not for long though because uh top seated of Nathaniel Bergen is getting right on his shoulder and then uh my personal
Favorite with the hat Cody Santo mimo what a fun name so catching up on chat a little bit uh Matt ended up running a 500 in college you know I I got to admit I’ve never even considered like 500 as a distance and that that sounds absolutely
Brutal it’s like it’s a 400 with an extra 100 on it that’s how you yeah that’s terrible I know uh I don’t know if you know the name but Gavin Deus end up running a 500 uh last year at some point maybe it was Dartmouth or something here we go a
Little bit of a lead change yeah that’s Cody moving up he didn’t run good they’ve got the 500 at heps Indo at what the heps I League conference meet so they run 400 500 800,000 they run them all so Cody and whiteon currently in front as Nathaniel right behind him
From marac in the blue you guys ever WN a hat during one of your races I guess you guys were sprinters so it’s a little bit more fly off man too [Applause] fast I think it’s a good move in my opinion it makes I think if I were to
Wear a hat it would make me feel like the race is like a little less important get on my head a little bit you know just like I’m going for a nice little run you know nice stroll well there was big KN chains down that backstretch Nathaniel no yep
Nathaniel Bergen a Barac takes the lead Cody keeping connected though going into the last lap Cody’s going to look to get on the shoulder on this corner and then got to go after him on the back stretch on this track yep and that’s exactly what he’s doing that’s a
Great strategy from Cody Bergen gets pass he’s going to have to move on to the outside he’s knocking to have enough Cody is going to win this race with a great time the backwards hat paid off in just over 250 Bergen coming in just over 251 25.5 for Santa mimo of marac Bergen
21.5 of marac ciano rounds at your top three and 255 then rali Jeffrey scupin all under three minutes Beck comes in 303 and Whitley didn’t not race well uh Nick just like you Matt ran it at heps so there you go it’s always a great race race to watch did you run in
College yep where’d you run ran ran over at Cornell nice yeah had a good time you’re a smart cookie aren’t you n you know well Cornell gets a bad rap sometimes cuz there are a couple of most people don’t know but there are a couple of actual State schools within the University
Get down here I don’t know what that means if I’m totally honest with you so all the other ones are strictly private but there are a couple of State schools so this race has a potentially be race the day got arasa of Pinkerton six of Milford deel of Pinker and Cody of gown
A last Runner Lucian gler big fan of him of Han over Logan corthals of Milford and Aiden Dow of Pinkerton everybody just in that 250 245 and under range no one in the 230s yet I think lucian’s going to look to change that he is quite the runner he doubled back and ran
1268 or something like that in the uh in the 600 down at Plymouth State I guess up at Plymouth State yeah I mean like you said goliah currently leading it yeah I think his his seed time of 244 is a little misleading if I’m honest with you he uh he ran 157 or
156 at one of his uh New Balance races this season earlier on um so uh 244 is definitely not a a realistic time for him you know he has been uh been been making some noise about about running a pretty fast time here he was second at New
England’s in indoor in the 1K last year with a 231 so I know he’s probably looking to uh to he was also the highest uh returning finisher so I’m sure he’s looking to uh get the title there but orasa of Pinker looking to catch up he passes six and six two laps to
Go fer still looking [Applause] smooth [Applause] he got about 12 meter lead do you have points on the track so you can tell that Greg or yeah I use the exchange zone for that one good coming into the Bell lap just under [Applause] 25 they come in what around [Applause]
237 I think 24 240 yeah I mean he really picked it up his lead you know 12 me lap before that time was closer to 20 239 and change right there breaks 240 there he is more than likely going to get into the fast heat
Of uh of States 2396 usually one of the top seeds isn’t it I think so thousands always scratches down I know him and loo are going to have a battle in the 1K though loo is the the top seed going into New England from New Hampshire um buter ended up taking
The the lead over him so right now he is second in D2 third in the State uh you got Redmond and loo Redmond loo and uh gazer they’re going to have a huge battle in the 16 and the 800 Outdoors um loo and glyer were both in that 156 157 range
Redmond ended up running 155 at meita Champs last year so those are going to be those are going to be some uh some interesting battles to watch out for an outdoor as well as indoor you’re going to have the 1K 15 and 3K for for those boys the move on though
To the girl 600 meter some may call it a dash I think it’s a dash call it a run I know man you got spack of valy Houston of North Murdo of Cobra Brown Simpson of hover catriona Carter of Milford Annabelle lovey of coob brown Meredith Caravan of Co Brown
Your first heat of two it’s back out to an early lead Murdo right there but 5 MERS back 10 m back someone lost a [Applause] number again looks like it’s Sydney out in front [Applause] can see she’s got a considerable lead right [Applause] now Paige of Co Brown currently second Sydney in [Applause]
First Sydney comes in with a 15 15 three seed time I think she’ll beat that pretty comfortably the last 4050 met of this race could be tough yeah I uh at New England another good battle for second looks like Skyler of North does end up getting the Passover Paige
Who gets third so one two three seated one two three they go and we can see that on the screen now with the back with a 15189 Houston 15453 Murdo in third and 1548 and then your four through seven is love it Simpson Carter and Caravan you are
Definitely right the last uh last 40 50 meters of this race can be a little brutal especially if you go out hard you know yeah I uh I learned that lesson I didn’t really go out too hard in any of my other 600s and at new englands I uh I
Went out in a 55 54 high and uh yeah ran out of oxygen well the issue I never really like felt it before but I was trying to I was trying to hold off a guy right on my shoulder who I just made the pass
On going into the last lap and uh with a 100 to go I just like overheated and I had never felt that before and I was like this is different so that was rough but you move on to your faster Heat going to have Charlotte Bodwin of timberling Christina jurus of North
Darby Madden of Windam there’s also it’s the got to be the sister of Jason in the 1K uh from picking in Fran of timberl Nur of marac oh sorry Memorial Carter of Portsmouth and Baker of pouth it is Carter leading it right now she led the first lap it’s a bold
Move continues the lead over Sarah Pinger but jurus is going to make it yeah she made the pass so as soon as I’m saying her name [Applause] And they are out [Applause] hard that’s how you got to run this race though [Applause] yeah jurus is looking to close that Gap both uh yeah she’s not going away completely I mean it’s you know Sarah went out real hard Sarah’s going to get the Bell they’re both kind of in no man’s
Land here running by themselves some may say that’s an advantage but these two think someone’s on the line they’re going to DQ who was on the line we’ll find out I just saw two get thrown up might be [Applause] jurus great race breaking 145 [Applause]
There are we going to see a DQ right now was number eight but was it that I saw but um I don’t know well your top three 144 from rasa jurus in 147 and Carter in 151 round at your 4-7 4 through eight spots are going to be Bodo and Fran Madden ner
And sorry it’s Baker in the fourth spot oh here comes the official are we going to see a DQ I heard Portsmouth I think you’re definitely yeah orang shoes Baker I believe be honest I think uh I think I I stay corrected this uh boy 600 is going
To be the race of the day looking at the heat sheets yeah Kevin Brooks who ran a 35. like three or something like that he is running the 600 now now he’s normally a one two and three guy uh so jumping up to the six is
Quite the jump we’ll see if he lines up um your other top seats Reynolds been to be the nula sorry nula is not racing just talking to him good guy you know I KN I knew he was doing the six you know how I knew h Chris called it out earlier dude he’s
All over it he even looks at the entries ahead of time Chris called out Kevin was doing the six or yeah way way back no he he said Kevin Brooks is in the 600 he said that during the 55s man kid pays attention this guy is a
Pro in this heat you’re going to have ducas of Windham whoa excuse me if I mess up your name but I think it’s Bard Dan barard dangelo of timberling O of London Derry I think we need to have Nick say all the hard names yeah because he’s got the
Perfect EX for years so I’m not you know he just getting back got sugianto of marac right out in front all of the runners in this heat though are within two seconds of each other so really the eight guy being out in front isn’t too much of a surprise
Um actually it shouldn’t be at all he’s your top seed coming in even though he has the eight the eight number on little strange but uh nothing wrong with that so what do we say Jordan’s leading this Aiden in second Jordan is leading this think second uh sorry never mind
We’ve got a little bit of a pass going on fun name as well top seed in this heat for a reason he takes the number one spot oh he’s not though he’s not Jordan is by .15 seconds excuse me see where it’s a little tricky
There oh look at that you got three guys though you’re going to have uh who is that oh we got a good kick here Aiden o yeah can we see a sub 135 in this heat I don’t know it’s going to be close 30 31 2 3 four just going to be over
136 there I think that’s a few good battles though lot of those guys uh good little race there you know they had some on a Race So my boy Jordan marac 138 and Dukas in 138 at your top three heat two your top seed’s going to be coming in at 13286
Which is Aaron farington of North TWY of Londoner in second Forest of marac Briggs coutino of Portsmouth Will Hart of pouth Dixon of Hanover Bickford of Memorial and Jacob pinkin pinkin pinci how would you say that P pinin yeah it’s probably right of summersworth whoever was writing that
Name in was very angry they all caps yeah Yeah oh I think I’ve raced Jacob before if that’s him get number two on the outside here I raced uh I raced him here last year but uh that’s TWY of London there he comes in with a 133 seed [Applause] time [Applause] pretty good lead here yeah yeah goingo there in second they’re coming back now though that’s such a fun name Briggs coutino or maybe it’s willart no that’s Briggs Fourth Place coming into second Third [Applause] could we see a sub 130 here not quite I think so he’s slowing up a little bit too much we’re going to look at like a 132 yep just over 132 there rest of the field comes in over 133 it’s going to be TW in
1326 1327 and Cino in 1333 rounds at your top three is heart of Portsmouth 1338 moving on to what I think is going to be the race of the day I’m very biased I love the 600 um it’s going to be Kevin Brooks of Windam coming in with
Your top seed at a 127 flat we actually don’t know what he’s going to run the 600 cuz he hasn’t run it before but uh if if his speed has any indication on how it run he’s going to run like a 123 so uh Reynolds comes in at a 127 binda played
All-Star baseball with him a few times big fan of him fer and Bey of Portsmouth seeki of North and Bodwin of timberlan so Brooks I think he’s got to use his speed here I think a sprinter tell me if I’m wrong a sprinter no matter if you go
Out in a 55 or a 58 you’re going to be just as tired after 400 m not necessarily depends on your training that’s how I look at it it depends is it an even 55 an even 58 or is it like you know right now Reynolds and binda are
Having a bit of a battle at the front Brooks is kind of letting himself letting himself just connected he looks good if you haven’t run a 600 usually that that middle lap is uh quite a challenge I think Brooks is kind of letting himself get too comfortable I
Think he can he can extend here uh Reynolds though having a brilliant race binda is looking to stay connected Reynolds has had a great season comes through at 104 this could be a pretty legit time we could be looking at a sub 127 Here stride shortening up courtsmith with a big kick Bey with a great kick reyolds throws the hands up in celebration 1288 be in 1291 soeki of North in 130 bindo in 1319 Bodwin in 132 Brooks in 133 these meets are these meets fly by we’re already on the
300s oh we got another guy who ran at cor Cornell got a Matt Worcester wait uh recently I don’t know not that recently if I recall correctly I would say you were there more recently than him okay I could be wrong though Matt will let us know what events I
Don’t I think I think he did um EPS just like you he had mentioned that I know you know he talked about uh automatically rounding the Sprint time that’s something from back in my day so we didn’t have the the whole fat going on okay that means you had coach tayor then probably
Maybe if it was anytime after 2000 got a couple of uh Cornell alumni in the building today yeah go Big Red we got five Heats of the girls 300 going to be three or four girls to a heat first Heat’s going to have three it’s going to be Tes kukis The Freshman
From Co Brown coming with a 477 seed Time haying song Handover with a 48 flat and Joelle Lewis of golf s with the 487 she got two freshman in the sophomore in this seat I think kukus and song are going to be right up there uh so it’s going to be what’s it
Going to be you’re going to once you get to the line you’re going to have a lap to go yep yeah and your in Lanes the entire race so yeah it definitely makes it hard on our uh our cameras here as you can see uh Pat’s a little bit stranded out
There so Pat can’t see anything because they’re in the outside line not Pat’s fault not Pat’s fault but uh got two in the seat I don’t think auka started NOP Lan three these two song and Lewis and song is already made up the Stagger they’re both slowing up a little bit
Here but song is going to take it see if she can’t PR not quite good race though so song with a 4914 Lewis 5137 second heat of the girls 300 going to have four girls you’re going to have a scabby of coob brown J Dono of Milford wheelie of Pinkerton and Wright of
Windham uh excuse me Molly wheelie uh wheel if your name is wheel I’m sorry I like saying wheelie a little bit better so I’m going to be saying that until I get corrected if uh you guys are in the building coming later this afternoon anything like that you’re at you and H1
Point today I believe today is our last opportunity for you to get some of that uh swag that we’re selling and uh as we had mentioned Cory D is over there selling it right now Cornell Alum so definitely go ahead and and check out some of that stuff last time this season
Like 90% sure it will be our last time this season so definitely go on and and check out all the stuff that we have over there if you get it early uh less chance of it being sold out there’s some nice sweats over there too dude those sweats are awesome I still haven’t
Gotten any you probably should yeah I know I know they’re going to have to take it out of my uh out of my out of my pay though which is a little rough I only got one job right now and is this so uh you know well just like everyone
Else you know they they are for sale so that would be kind of how that transaction works oh I know I know don’t you worry I pay for my stuff but no honestly I I feel like they’re the the best pair of sweatpants I’ve had in in quite some time really
Yeah really I like the uh the jacket like a big orange jacket for cross country oh yeah that was pretty nice that was pretty nice did you pick up the design on those do you mean like make the design like the color heat two’s off thank you Nick my
Pleasure gono I think her seed time might be a little representative of her speed she’s pretty fast Molly looks to have made up a stagger a bit here she get around Lane four it’s going to be gono and wheelie here it’s going to be a tight
Battle I think gono’s got it though yeah she made the pass right there and she’s got plenty left and she’s going to go ahead and take Heat number two good little race she was your top seat coming in 4585 so that’s a good little time there
I wonder if Barber’s in this in this race oh she is all right I’ll be fun yeah she’s the top overall SE in the fifth and final heat yes so she came in with a 4703 and she just ran a 4585 I did say it wasn’t representing spe she’s fast that’s pretty
Good you got a you got your third heat of five you got Sylvia guino of Portsmouth Allison fry of North Lily Patterson of Portsmouth and Nora Brio of Pinkerton Nora I think was in the 55 finals that sounds sounds familiar tends to be a lot of overlap
Between the 55 and 300 or 55 hurdles and 300 yeah those are the only two that they they let the sprinters have indoor you know well I think I think you get your long jump your high jump your relay fair enough fair enough I think more sprinters should do uh the 55 hurdles
Then go and double backs to the 55 Dash then go and triple back to the 600 and go quadruple back to the 300 be a good workout 63 double here is tough cuz they’re back to back yeah that’s [Applause] true lily Patterson bouth in Lane three it’s in a good spot right [Applause]
Now a very good spot Allison Allison’s got some extra though I just like we saw in the last seat you know lean three was looking good and then two kind of had that surge kick at the end a 45 eight just behind gonos time 45 Something 4585 so I think I think uh
Yeah well oddly enough they give the the top seed lane two in these in these heeds so as sprinters prer three I would prefer three or four yeah even though it would be on the outside so you guys like running out in front so we’re it’s too tight of a turn I mean
I’m tall he’s taller than me like so on a let’s say on a flat track like Dartmouth I cut my stride I can’t run a 300 out at Dartmouth why it’s too tight of a turn so let’s say you’re on a you’re on a 400 track outdoor track and
You got a 400 not issue I mean four it’s eight Lanes so two is equivalent at to four but or six Lanes but so you guys like chasing or I like I like to know where the people are so for 400 I’m I’m fine with lane two or Lane
Three I didn’t really I mean it didn’t really matter too much you as I used to tell the athletes you know the world 400 meter world record was set out of lane8 so right yeah you know but I mean that’s one of the things benefit of laying 8
You know you you can’t see anyone so you just got to go yeah but yeah that always made me nervous I mean I like uh I like the second outermost Lane in like a 400 CU I see one guy in front of me and I’m like
He’s going to be trying to not let people catch him so if I catch him no one’s going to catch me you know what I mean some interesting logic oh it is coming up here makes me feel better about myself he4 though you got Sandy of Memorial CLE of pinkan quter of Memorial
And Blake of Pinkerton as well got two memorials and two Pinkerton I think the the Pinkerton are going to come out on top [Applause] here Isabella in lane two has made up the Stagger pretty well she’s a bit further along than what we’ve seen in the
Previous two heat so I think uh right now she’s out in front got a good look here oh yeah comes in with a seed time at 4481 probably a little Pinker Memorial Pinker and Memorial Sipple with a 445 quarter with a 457 Blake with a 46 flat and sany with a
466 now you got heat five it’s going to be mcti of Pinker in the Freshman uh she’s got she got some company though she’s got Harriet Barber 4121 uh the 55 meter Champion uh Janelle Thomas as well also doubling back back from the 55 here the 434 and Timberman timerman the 445 from
Psth I think I think Barber’s safe pick here Thomas’s is a is a slightly more risky pick but she can she can pop out a great time whenever she does tend to do quite a few events every meet that she races um 55 300 and then pretty much every relay
So I think I’ll take Barber here but Thomas will be a close [Applause] [Applause] second Barbara’s made up oh my goodness Barbara is looking great right now she’s pretty fast she is well out Harriet Barber finishing straight not quite sub 40 but definitely sub 41 4.62 on the UNH track that’s a
Impressive timerman with a 4444 that’s super satisfying as well Thomas with a 4447 and mcti with a 4515 Barber that’s surely got to be the top time in the obvious she had the top time and she she broke her own time so by like half a second 610 almost 610 yeah yeah so
That’s uh you know that’s all right it’s all right it’s okay it’s not too bad boys 300 you got four Heats now your first heat it’s going to be four boys here you got Bryce stin of Co Brown John and glaz of londonerry cassetti of maram and versado of
Memorial First Command given guys getting [Applause] settled Fair start all Lanes being [Applause] used he that’s casset is out pretty good had a bit of a trip on that uh on that turn Eng glaz also running well yeah Eng glaz is going to get him here I’m going to say he doesn’t
Never mind I mean engl is already in front yeah he was in front up here the top of that turn oh wait never mind sorry Eng glaze in Lane three he’s going to take Heat number one I’m sorry in lane two he takes it with a
4043 not quite a PR but right about there Heat two you got Becket Rose of MV Luca cable doubling back from the 55 of maram Shan venor of central Ben Walthers of Pinker and you got three boys under 40 here as their seed times and Becket Rose is right above at a 43 1 40. 31 not 43 clarify [Applause]
Sometimes it’s again all four lanes in [Applause] use [Applause] see Sean of Central in Green Lane three coming up on him though it’s Kaden in lane [Applause] two is going to be Kaden gagne of central taking Heat number two 3949 that’s heat three L Luka LCA cable that’s okay it’s all right that’s
Okay I was trying to cover for you and that’s what I get I was opening up my go macro BX shout out go macro bars which of course is a pleasant reminder that there’s no eating inside the UNH facility during these high school meets well I was just
Opening it up to get the air flow to the the in between Meats I got you yeah I wasn’t eating it I mean come on now I wouldn’t eat inside the UN AG Paul sweet oval baby we got E3 we got family those rules for The Spectators Parker kman and Walkin Martin
I’m taking Walkin Martin I’m a big walking Martin fan I was talking to him at uh States last year I’m going I’m going to time take Kaden cuz I called him in the last meet so sry walking Martin’s actually not racing right now um I was just to meet early with my with
My call that’s all just a heat just one heat early that’s gagny you yeah you were right he’s running pretty good running real strong going to go ahead and finish this one up in that 39 second range comes across 3929 Lee from Co Brown 40.92 Gman of Timberlane
40.94 all right you good now getting I’m totally fine I’m all powered up now CU I I got to I got to go macro bars over here not eating them though just like looking at him you know makes me energize anyways we got heat four you’re
Going to have two Trinity hand over in Timberlane you are going to have rear edak Polo of Trinity coming with the 3876 SE time your other Trinity boy is going to be to himay oomi the 55 winner uh he SE that 3833 now Bradley raced him
In the 55 today uh Bradley’s a little bit more of a long Sprinter though he comes in with a 3668 SE time easily the fastest time in the Heat or in the uh in the race I feel like I’m looking for in the dash I don’t I feel like I’m looking for
300 the heat I’m looking for a more like profound word you know I can’t find it though so in the in the heat Bradley Savage my boy with the mullet 3855 uh so also a big aen Bradley fan I love those Handover boys he’s running pretty
Good oh y’s already made up the Sager on Savage but Bradley can pretty much hold his speed for about 400 500 meters so I would assume he’s going to win this heat because o is looking to slow up right about now they’re even right now hard to
See on screen give it a second there they are so oomi definitely better in that uh in that short Sprint distance but Bradley is a very good long Sprinter and he just showed that with 376 you’ve been paying attention this season not really to be honest actually no I have been paying
Attention you have them I just know a lot of these guys from last year I always used to get uh Aiden Powell and Aiden Bradley mixed up sure so I still call Aiden Bradley Aiden Powell and Aiden Powell Aiden Bradley hey some 1500s coming up next 1,500 great little race we got uh
How many Heats of the girls we got one heat of the girls what a fun race this is gonna be you want to read off those names for us we’ll wait he’s just got to load it that’s all he’s just loading it up yeah loading yeah so um yeah one heat we
Have Bard of Pinker and Khloe Carter Portsmith Elliot CR of Memorial Madison gtis of marac Valley Arya d a Handover Samantha perin Co Brown Mary buron a CO Brown Jacqueline Anderson a Handover Harper leonti of Londoner and Francesca Ferguson of Co Brown top seed comes in about 12 seconds ahead of
The next seed um 518s Gabrielle bard of Pinkerton I don’t see any Lane one two no Lane one on the heat sheet okay the uh difference from top seed to the Bottom seed you know within about 40 seconds yeah we could have some lapping going on
Got five times in the state under the five minute Mark Bard closest in this race to the 518 just looking to improve on that improve kind of her standing 20th currently in the state TR that 518 back January 7th so couple weeks ago we have that’s a good
Little time n and a half laps right good math I think n plus a little bit more Fair start can see she’s already jumped out in Front did not want to waste any time dealing with traffic [Applause] there again that is bard of Pinkerton out in front the sophomore [Applause] And they’re kind of going in order right now for the top few it is Chloe in second Elliot third Madison fourth I know the mile sl5 has always been a little tough for me to get get a handle of you know what I mean like you can’t not go out hard but you
Can’t go out hard you know what I mean it’s a little it’s a little tough seven to go for Gabriel she’s got about 12 second Advantage SE time wise over second place or second ranked so as we anticipated she has gone out solo and we can take a look back at
Our battle for a second this one could be a little bit closer seems to be right now Carter being challenged it’s CR on her shoulder I believe see them showing six laps remaining shout out this guy I don’t know who that guy is the guy in the orange right
There but uh un track someone from UNH track yeah I know that much but he’s been at like every meet for like three years good for that guy he a life just loves it yeah he loves track that’s why we’re here right I’m here only because I love track
Exactly same I wake up at 7 in the morning on Saturdays that’s late because of how how much I love Track I’ll tell you one thing I better be back for playoff football though are you are you here this afternoon too yeah you won’t be back for playoff football no no it’s all right not for the first game this is like playoff track man it’s not though it’s
Not States yeah but it’s qualifying yeah if you don’t if you don’t reach a certain standard you already you already have to have qualified to get here so we’re in the playoffs so in my in my humble opinion I I only think it’s playoff track if I’m competing in track you know
And I totally screwed myself up for the next like two weeks I was supposed to race at Terrier yeah admissions closed last night so I get back from my track workout I was working out here I get back at like 10:30 admissions closed at 8 who closes
Them at 8 who does their work out at 10:30 well I had to wait until people were off of the track okay admissions or registration registration email the meet director I can do that yeah oh it’ll be a late there’s a late fee but um oh it’s
100 bucks yeah I know but I you get in yeah usually yeah I’ll email them maybe sometimes those big those be meets are big like think they’re a little bit smaller now though now that new balance is open yeah so I think they they might of Trimm the number that they
Have yeah a lot of schools I mean depends division three program coming through she is two to go well out in front we see this pack of three right here that is your second place battle much closer what a fun race and again there we go Anie Patrick
Gabri badar lap and a half remaining for her in this 1500 and she collects the bell for 47 and change I love that there’s a bell I love when there’s an enthusiastic batt you know you want to let the building know what’s going on no you’re right right you’re [Applause]
Right now is that second or is that someone who’s got that’s first she passed okay yeah I I mean Bard is first and she had just passed some lap traffic so she finishes [Applause] up gets a Time 5213 again we saw a good battle here for a
Second couple of them finishing there CR CR of Memorial is second Carter reports SM third yeah CR 533 91 Carter 53479 jadas of marac Valley 5472 Lon lonary 54870 [Applause] tough race tough uh I feel like, 1500 in this facility is hard to do doesn’t seem
Fun I’ll be honest with you no I’d much rather have the the 200 track available because again 15 you don’t care about a bank right yeah I wouldn’t know but yeah yeah no need to care about the bank in the 15 I think on the uh boy side I
Think we’re looking at two Heats of it oh we got Max lay baby I’m Big Max L fan uh he said he was going to win the 15 from the slower heat you know the the spread is actually not terrible for it if you compare it to the the
Previous okay guys take the line and they’re off heat one of two are spread here from Max L 434 down to 447 and lay right out in front who’s that who’s that from pcker in there that’s uh Logan McDonald yeah and this Heats L of coob brown Greenway of Handover McDonald of
Pinker in Buckley of londondary Bane of marac Valley Deno of Memorial and grav line of coob brown you must know him too it’s grelin grelin yeah pardon pardon me I do know him pardon me all right you you get the forever pass okay although you probably didn’t have
As much a commentary for your races so no they didn’t used to do this no no I was still in college when 2011 yeah I was in college when you were running so I I couldn’t where did you run in college you ran over it yeah a little bit at ke yeah I
Uh not as successful as high school for a number of factors but that’s okay nothing wrong with that nothing wrong with that I mean you ran in high school and all right Bud you’re in college now right bud so our spot as we see lame still out in
Front yeah we’re working on that right now yeah I uh I visited manad a couple of times helped out at some practices is while I was in college did you oh yeah did you smoke this guy that’s where they used to train yeah where is Manan next to Keen then
Swansea L might caught here by McDonald couple hours from here yeah yeah really yeah especially on a bus New Hampshire does not have east to west roads that work well route four over to 9 to 89 to9 I’ll be honest with you I was talking to my mom about it as
Uh lame gets past yeah McDonald taking over like she always says like all these all these roads and stuff I don’t know them cuz I just I just follow the Blue Line follow the GPS that tells me where to go we didn’t have those when I was
Young so yeah no that’s what I think there’s definitely disconnect my mom be like get on 93 printed out Map Quest yep you don’t even know know what map quest is I don’t grelin looking to make the pass on his teammate lame that just tells me if gring can
Maintain he’s having a good day graveling has improved so much in the last year even that can happen a lot you know boys 10 to 10th grade to 11th grade mhm big changes yeah cross country season I’ll be honest he wasn’t looking too he wasn’t looking too hot his uh his last
Year this year he put in the work in the summer winter and spring and uh he’s improved so much become an integral part of that team and at this point he might be looking to uh to catch up to McDonald’s here yeah I mean for cross country going
Over to Northwood Meadows and running up that uh Hill oh yeah M MO mam Mo I’ll be honest I’ve never even read straa segment on that one um and you keep going up the Saddleback right honestly I have no idea I believe that’s what it is
Two to go here as Greg said I know that all the cross country boys used to talk about it but I I I was a soccer guy ah yeah I was very close to running cross country my senior year though and then shout out my guy Shan
Green Works over here at UNH he convinced me play soccer even though he’s a track guy here we go McDonald into the Bell lap at 408 grelin and lame are going to be battling it out for [Applause] second grin’s going to take second but McDonald getting in under 440 at 437 point something it’s going to push him up a bit grelin just over 440 lame at 441 no 442 McDonald 437 5’8 grelin 440 lame 442 to round at your top three and then he got Greenway to Neo
Bane and Buckley round or four through S through seven slots you move on to the second heat of two the faster heat some may say actually never mind it is just the faster heat um but you got you got some guys in here doubling back from the onek Lucian gazer comes into the
15 I don’t see him out there though is Lucian gazer not running the 15 I don’t think he is I don’t see I mean he just he just ran right oh he he did run the 1K but yeah just double entered scratch from this yeah looks like noan Peter a ports
Noan Peters is your top seed Owen Davis Andrew Valentino he ran the 3K earlier I don’t yeah he’s still racing sha Hayes Luke kowak and trainer May Mayo uh kowak ran 431 Outdoors last year as a sophomore so he’s going to I mean he’s pushed the pace pretty
Early and that’s going to be Nolan Peters right there in second both [Applause] Juniors a big Luke carak fan you’re a big fan of everyone Co Brown he caught on to that huh yeah yeah I’d say that’s about right feel like I remember the first time Ben
Was on the mic I thought it was going to be his last time just how much of a homer he was to be fair Gavin ran 152 you know exactly what I’m talking about of course I knew it in the moment but I was so excited my teammates ran 152 at the home
Invitational black bear yeah good meet States was there Greg outdoor um actually you met yeah after I left that was your the year after you left right it was my sophomore year yeah and Junior sophomore and junior year yeah I had uh junior senior at marac
Valley yeah I forget where it was before that so seni yeah freshman year was yeah marac Valley I remember that you’re lucky I didn’t talk about Co Brown more that day gosh you couldn’t have as we get a lead change here Nolan Peters takes the lead that’s going to be Valentino right
On kowak shoulder [Applause] there see these four breaking away I don’t think I don’t think it’d be the best move for kowak to make another move here and comforable they do look pretty comfortable classic 1500 yeah a little back and forth kowak takes the lead back
Now at this point you get the move made on you then you make a move you can’t let another move be made on you you know what I mean just can’t happen just can’t happen carak going to have to put the hammer down Peters does look like he’s
Struggling a little bit four to go here got 640 me left nice math can hear Mike lifeford is in the building today those classic move calls going move move clearly talking to Nolan Peters whenever he gives me some of those move calls I just ah get invigorated man you know oh we talked
About it a few weeks ago Mike was in the building when Tim Cox was doing a race and and Mike told him ahead of time he’s like I’m going to throw some at you he didn’t and and Tim was Tim was talking about how much you
Know it it made a difference and we can see it here as he moved into second place he’s right on the shoulder in this race Peter’s going he’s going to go for it kowak has to put the hammer down not let the pass happen Nolan already around two to go 300
Me if kowak can just stay on the shoulder going into this last lap I think he’s going to be looking good Peters he’s got a got a pretty distinct forward lean that he runs with Kwak never mind he wants to put the hammer down right now and he’s going to oh yeah
He’s he passed and has increased a little bit we’ll see how Peters can respond Peters says nuh-uh he’s not going to let that he’s not going to he’s not going to let that Gap form him he’s still a little a little bit back carak definitely looks more Comfortable I think kowak has the has the arms and legs to get this done but Peters is still [Applause] digging going to run very well here winning in just over 423 Peters just under 425 kowak improves his seed time kak with a 42359 Peters just over 425 and
Mayo is that Mayo I would say Mayu but Mayu you guys say Mayu you know do you know you know coach zinc his name used to be coach uh zinc Mayu why and then he shortened it when he got married how do you know zinc I know zinc I know all the
Old Coach you got to understand like Nick is is pretty well versed in his New Hampshire track and field there’s there’s a reason I’m okay like we invited him on today yeah yeah I’ll be honest I saw I saw him standing over there I’m like who is this guy he knows his
Stuff hey 15 hundreds they’re uh they’re in the books guys relays all of the individual races are over we got relays now 4×4 is up first how many Heats do we got I bet you in the girls we have three Heats that look I can’t believe you had that I can’t
Believe that that’s crazy I I mean I I think it’ be even crazier if you told me who was in the first heat first heat well it’s on the screen for everyone right now you can see it’s marac wind and London ruined it see if you had announced it you would
Have messed it up how would I have messed it up cuz you would have said Mar coob Brown milord oh hold on now we’re on heat three this is all scrolling through yeah so maybe I messed it up yeah buddy ah yeah you messed it up I’m going to I’m
Going to take a look at the track I’ll tell you guys who’s actually in heat one going to have maram Valley Co Brown and Milford yeah and I see I can confirm it cuz I can see all three of them lined up ready to go first there so
Can’t believe you thought I would uh man that was that was scrolling through was not expecting that it says it right up there Speed Sport timing keeping me on my toes if you need your uh results today you can go to Speed Sport timing it is SST Results.com here I’ll uh I’ll throw it up on the screen you can see those teams getting talked to right now are you looking at yourself on on screen waving yourself it looked like you were oh we’re scrolling through the boys now and the clock’s running you know what today is Nick what’s
What’s today it’s a good day I I was going to say it’s a great day to have a 4×4 oh okay well who’s our fourth davio man oh I’m out I’m out I have three pairs of spikes and my streak flies in my bag 4×4 uh Patrick you’re coming down
And we’ll find davio cuz I am not doing it I don’t want Pat Pat’s Pat would run like a 75 I’m all set do you know what I would run right now well we actually had a conversation about this at out at New England’s cross country you remember
That no all right he’ll probably still throw it down 5 we said what did I say we made a bet we said do we think that with a month of training go sub 60 yeah yeah it’s 60 yeah that’s what we said yeah month of training yes now no you could train
Three times a week and run but then we said sub 58 and I said no he could I think so yeah there’s a certain level of yes when you yes can do it I’m I’m confident what how often do you run right now six days a week oh what do you
Do I I get hurt when I do the longer the shorter stuff so I do the longer stuff run up mountains and stuff live up in Madison where’s Madison uh just south Conor yeah not Wisconsin no but um yeah that’s a good spot bought for mountains yeah it’s fine you hike all of
Them run but yeah but you’ve done all of them they they do a little bit different version of hiking hiking is a little slow I agree you know it takes takes up the whole day instead of half the day yeah we run I agree with that or two
Hours 3 hours have you done any of the mountain racing um I did well I just kind of got into it last year so you got the shoes I did Lon no these are Road shoes oh never mind got trail shoes in the bag how did LOM go the gortex it was
Fine I’ve never done anything like that before I guess that was a tough one to start off with but you should do uh Bon’s a cool one though yeah it’s steep cuz you go up Mountain like you go up down some are vertical and then some are
Um like vertical so you just go start at the bottom go to the top some are up downs I like the up downs better no I haven’t done P I don’t want to run 30 miles yeah prees yeah yeah so I think I see uh the issue right
Here is just with some scratches they’re going to do some reeding otherwise Heat 2 would just be maramax so that’s what the the hold up is right now is making sure there’s not a team running by themselves I think everyone can appreciate that so I think marac is going to move
Up into heat number one and now there’s going to be two Heats so that means each heat is going to have uh five teams in it oh yeah they’re on the line now just going for it this is great so now we have marac Valley Co Brown Milford Windam and londonairy marac
Moving into heat two so we able to disperse a little bit there top seed in this heat looks to be Windam now 439 coming into it yeah Nick’s fast enough if he did a little bit of training he’d he’d be I would say I think I could still around
55 now I was going to say 55 right now yeah yeah right only 400 he’s got some training in his book man yeah it’s true I got the long slow stuff you know dude my legs have been cooked recently I had the worst workout of my life
Yesterday workouts are G it was in here though I think yeah all right Heat number one marac Valley Cobra Milford Windam and Londoner after the dust settles with it and we have Milford out in front right now we’ll see how that goes for them again top seat in this is
Windom 4X 400 meter means each athlete running 400 m I would need spikes to there’s four of them per team throw that clock back on for you it is the 4x4s not listed but will be at some point most likely the exchange Down’s over on the back scatch right
Yeah yeah 4×4 on a 160 track makes it a little bit weird for the hand offs yeah I was doing fours in here yesterday and It’s just tough to you know figure it out they got lines marked for it all over probably easier than doing it out where it was 14 degrees
Though yeah I think I would prefer that as a scabby Co Brown went from I think like fifth to First there we got some handoffs going on now let’s see how the handoffs are good handoff yeah the key with the handoff you want to keep the Baton moving right
Handoff sir yeah absolutely don’t want that baton slowing down as we see Co Brown currently in first Milford right on the shoulder Mar ma Valley right behind them Londonberry and Windam I forget who it was last year in the 4×8 at States teams were doing Blind
Hand offs Milford with a pass in the 4 by everyone has their own way of doing things I think it’s a little London moving up into second now Milford in first London not done onto the shoulder getting onto the turn decides to go for it and does successfully on the turn
Dant move by her to put herself and her team in an excellent position London der looking strong great leg increasing that Gap there over Milford again order as it stands londondary then Milford marac Valley Windam and Co Brown currently as we look for our second exchange onto the third leg for Londoner Londoner
Milford mayor MC Valley Co Brown and Windham going to get that pass take a look back over at the lead and we can see London still out in front over Milford 10 m between the two teams looks like that Gap might be slightly [Applause] expanding Co Brown in third good battle
For fourth right now as Windham does make that pass Milford gaining on London der they’re going to go for the pass she ran like what 44 something here we go on the straight gets around I think she ran like 44 45 in the 300 so a
Very good day from K gardano here she’s going to hand off him first pretty comfortably and then Windam and Co Brown are battling it out for third going into the final leg as Pat keeps the camera on the handoff it’s going to be Windam then Co
Brown see that lead now for Milford over London [Applause] There they’ve been back and [Applause] forth and Milford they’re going to have a lap to [Applause] go hear that Bell Milford gets it see what they can do for the final 160 London might be making a move I think I think it could happen it’ll be tough though Milford running on the
Outside part of the lane Londoner closing the Gap get to the corner and it’s going to be close London is going to make the move here it’s going to be a tight one London der’s going to have it though right off the turn London ter going to take Heat number
One and here comes third coming around it’s going to be Windam followed up by Co Brown so lonary 44232 Milford Milford 44326 so we can see heat number two now getting positioned so again Heat number two now on the line we see owls that’s timberlan Astros that’s Pinkerton Titans that’s Nash and North I’m sensing a trend the big p that’s Portsmouth and then marac I believe probably says marac
Yep tomahawks what’s the trend well they’ve got that the M the first three teams got m Scot’s on their jerseys instead of the the school name which is fine cuz we know the jerseys and the schools uh yeah last week I was in Rhode Island that was hard
Yeah I think that’s Alex’s best it is all right well a lot of coaches will put their fastest Runners up front try to get the lead yeah that’s what Bedford did last year to harder to pass so just depends how do you guys like to hold the
Baton you left or a right hand guy right hand and then you like to bottom of it so I was looking um one of the more interesting baton holding methods I’ve seen comes from Philip’s exor they hold it with whatever hand it is right some people hold it in the middle but they
Only they do it in the middle but they only hold it with two fingers so they don’t squeeze tighten up like they like have it like this and then it’s it’s like this and it just seems a little like if you got hit it would fall out yeah potentially to be fair they’re
Pretty good so they’re not usually going to be in a pack but you know take a look we’ve got our first handoff this is marac out in front bit of a cluster there but Portmouth I think came away with second we’ll see what happens as Patrick moves the camera
Around we oh wow great camera job no North might be out a little hard if being huge surge there put the team up there so North then Pinkerton Then timberlan followed by marac Portsmith and third uh Portsmith and third excuse me Pinkerton making a pass over North yeah I think North might have
Might have gone out a little a little hot it’s easy to get excited for the for the Relay especially the 4×4 it’s a lot easier to go out like got half La now an indoor track than it is outdoor outdoor it’s you know you’re just doing that one
Lap and it’s a lot easier to visualize and in here where you’re doing two and a half laps so even at Plymouth we saw um Pinkerton Portsmouth Portsmouth pulling even Portsmouth with hand off first Pinker I think is going to have a lead though but I mean even at Plymouth when
Uh me and davio were over there we saw a lot of a lot of teams from the back would kind of burn themselves out in the first lap cuz it’s just kind of tough to visualize another two laps on the indoor track rather than just one on the outdoor
Track Pinkerton over Portsmith they got two to go marac coming up on [Applause] North pouth going out wide goes [Applause] around go Smith then Pinker in maram then North maram just gets passed up by North again get a little excited in the first uh Portmouth final leg out in front
Pinkerton right there in the [Applause] [Applause] mix Portsmouth over [Applause] Pinkerton hankerton has closed that Gap getting up to the shoulder although Portsmith responds and surges coming up one to go Portsmouth with that Bell 160 [Applause] left surge continues for [Applause] Portsmith 7 MERS between them Portsmith out in front of [Applause] Pinkerton [Applause] about a 417
There great race from these D1 teams I believe that was an all D1 heat was it not I believe it was that’s interesting so Portsmith takes that 417 83 Pinkerton 41893 North 42246 marac 429 71 and Timberlane 43 3 93 next event on the track will be the
Boys turn for the four by 400 going into it we have three Heats but as we saw receding is an option based on scratches looks like Windam is here London der’s here timberlane’s here marac Valley is here and Memorial is here so I’m going to go ahead and say Heat number
One looks like is is going to stay as is seated heat one coming to the line we’ve got Windam on the inside followed by London Derry Timberlane merac Valley and memorial barrel start I’m locking in a Timberlane win seeds I me are you basing that on
Seeds or no I was going to say seeds you know at this time of the year don’t really mean anything a lot of a lot of teams haven’t put together their best teams yet so this is kind of the time of the year to start doing that mhm no I
Just uh I just like timberlan to be totally honest with you I see and they are off timberlan out hard followed by London da Memorial envy and wind yeah like you said Timberland out pretty good but uh who’s that with him that’s lary also looking good they got about 50
Met to go 40 met at this point going for our first handoff here running about 56 57s for our lead crew I always hold the Baton I would get it with my right I would switch to my left hold it at the bottom and then I
Would come around with 100 to go I would switch back to my right for the handoff that doesn’t slow you down no it was it was good though it was great as London Derry passed up Timberlane thinking that means I never coached you for relays no man you were
There for like the first year and I was uh I wouldn’t have coached you for relays then no I was training up to be a uh to be a sprinter and then a week in I was like I don’t like the shin Sprints I got right now I’m going to go and run
With uh with Gavin Deus over there in the in the the mid distance Squad means you might not have had the right shoes and if you’re wondering what the right shoes are for you as London Mary makes a pass and then Timberlane right behind go ahead and head down to Runners
Alley locations in Manchester conquer and Portsmouth they’ll get you fitted right and help you avoid some of those early season shin splints that and uh you know there’s a lot of things you can do early season to kind of prevent that check in with your check in with your
Coaches and they can give you some exercises yeah I have my shoes on went to Runners alley got fit it up no more Shin spins hey all right so the way I thought about it was it was uh it was I switched to Mid distance but it also
Could just been the shoes you know yeah I like those untied Nikes that you got on right now I I don’t think I’ve tied my shoes just out and about in a long time I just go one tied man I’m a big Brooks fan so I got I got ghost which is
A great uh great time to remind you once again this coverage is brought to you by what I am wearing sorry Greg you’re not allowed to as we see London with the pass followed by Timberlane pass going to go ahead and stay with the handoffs because you know he’s wearing hocus [Applause]
Too I’ve been seen a lot of people wearing the ons recently I don’t know anything about it well whatever your preference cuz clearly it can be mixed um R runners allei has [Applause] it I don’t think I’ve worn anything but Nike since I had my first pair of
Running shoes that’s why you got Shin Squints yeah you think so yeah I like the Infinity Run we’ll we’ll talk about it uh after the meet yeah Timberland closing in on London bar brilliant race they’re making this a good race here we go oh timberlan with the passe takes it
Throws the hands up in celebration with a time of 358 and change 35783 for timane London 35816 Memorial 407 even and as we await these times merac Valley 41855 we can see heat to getting on the line all right heat to we’ve got Manchester Central marac Handover and nashwa North
Looking at some dark jerseys in this one I guess if I look up they’re a little bit more cleared in on camera camera’s got the they are like 10 ft away aren’t they I like Handover jersey with the Big B that’s newer it didn’t well at least
In the last six years I didn’t see him last year even I’ll I’ll take a look I’ll let you know North is out in front maram coming on [Applause] hard I would say handovers jerseys are new this [Applause] year they used to have a big h on them
Right uh they’ve had a few different variations over the years yeah they’ve had some white some I remember the white [Applause] ones if we take a look it’s Nashville North in front of marac in front of Central in front of Handover and North coming around handing off
First good hand off from North if you say so I thought it was nice looked like he had to dive a little bit to get there well the hand the Baton moved nicely the the guy in front and Mar out in front we talked about having uh mascots on the
Jerseys marac does just on the back of it not the front but Titans on the the front for nashille North I just saw Hanover uh on the turn he went into two went into lane two now marac pulling even the turn is pretty tight maybe that’s a strategy
Thing marac now in front of North he’s got half a lap to go before he hands [Applause] off I think one of these guys name is Ben marac North maram just had a really good hand Central’s going to get it yeah two hard steps and look
Back it’s the way to go Marx still out in front North I like that headband though I think that headband is going to get him like a two second PR in this 400 [Applause] here closing it he’s got a long St take a look at them on the turn looks like
North is out in front now we got a [Applause] LP again this is heat two of three the boys 4 by [Applause] 400 North over marac going into the hand [Applause] off it’s good battle between these two teams see North pulling away now we’ll see if Mar can respond to that by [Applause]
16 again this is the final leg for Heat number two two got some work to do North gets the Bell over marac North is off that lead has increased significantly you don’t normally see a kick in a 400 but I think we’re seeing one right
Now I think he just went faster than his first 200 North coming in with a 35280 they improve that that time by at least couple of seconds 34842 for North marac Second 35298 Central coming in 40415 and then Handover finishing up as well Handover 414
17 Heat number three as you can see the guys on your screen we’re looking at Portsmith Pinkerton Cole Brown and Milford on your [Applause] Marks here we go all right milford’s out hard but so is yeah they went wide cuz they were flying there it’s Portsmith Portsmith Milford Pinkerton Co
Brown so I know that this is like for Pinkerton a split 51 uh 515 in the 400 last year in outdoor so yeah there he goes but Portsmouth having a very good leg here Portsmith Pickerton up on the shoulder next to him and around that’s binda he’s coming back from the
600 Pinkerton utilizing the straight perfectly there as we see them leading over Portsmouth right now then Milford and Cole Brown going into our first exchange Milford makes a last second can move there so we’ve got Pinkerton Milford then Portsmouth Co Brown not a great handoff from Co
Brown Pinker last year ran 327 at one point 327 flat maybe it was 326 High something like that you know what I mean but uh they didn’t graduate many of their guys I don’t think so we should be seeing a pretty solid time here Pinkerton Milford Portsmouth all within
Striking Distance of each other especially with some of the handoffs we’ve seen this season pinkton with a slight Edge as Portsmouth looking to make a pass over Milford doesn’t quite accomplish it but gets right on the shoulder there right going into a handoff pinkerton’s going to be handing
Off to the uh their 1K guy who wore the hat so we got we got our hat guy here Pinkerton Milford Port Smith no hat this time no hat huh it’s a little bit faster that’s 400 Co Brown’s a distant school man I know Pinkerton maintaining their
Lead Milford and Portsmouth have had a little bit of a back in and four throughout the race Milford currently in second although Portsmith is going to be okay with staying in third at this time if Pinkerton has even if Pinkerton stays anywhere close to where they are they’re going to win
This race very comfortably I believe they have misho on the anchor leg saw Portsmouth make the move there as we’ve got our handoffs going okay this is our final leg we got BD and 6on from uh Han or sorry Portsmouth and uh Milford respectively Pinkerton Portsmith Milford
One two three right now BD could maybe make a move on Pinkerton it’ll be tough Pig has got quite a big lead but it could happen and whoa Co Brown working to not be lap down so London is not in this not sure why I said it Pinkerton is out in
Front bit of a rivalry there isn’t [Applause] there so Pickerton having to deal with some lap traffic here as they have the bell and they’re on the finishing straight nothing to worry about now out in lane two Pickerton takes this Portsmouth not too far behind and Milford gets the third spot
In the race again this is our third and final heat of the boys 4×4 let’s figure out where Co Brown’s at going to wait for uh some of these times to get readjusted Co Brown was kind of up in the the mix there see Co brown
Baby we won the heat not true going to wait for that to get sorted out got four Heats of the women of the girls 4X 160 coming up so final times for that heat I can throw them up now as a corrected Pinkerton 34491 Portsmouth 34652 Milford 349 37 Cole Brown
41154 and like you said three Heats four Heats four Heats how many Heats four Heats of four Heats of the girls the last three only have two teams in them it appears a little bit of one-on-one racing yeah the 4X 160s makes it hard to to stack the the lanes up quick
Raise first he we have Handover in Lane one London der in lane two and followed by Co Brown in Lane three I would agree except shift it by one I think they’re doing two three and four leaving One open ah okay I know you you read it correctly the heat sheets
Yeah I’m just uh using my eyes to to see what’s around me on the track well after this first leg they’ll all end up in Lane one or lane two if they end up passing it’s really critical here to get it get out getting the lead from the
From the first handoff yeah it’s really hard to pass in a 16 yeah I mean you’re typically against some pretty comparable people so we’ve got a good start for our first heat again with it being done in Lanes makes Pat’s job a little bit hard can kind of
See through some of the cracks there in the catwalk is it first two heat or first two are uh in Lanes they’ll cut in on the back I think okay cut in on the back no oh oh cut in down here uh I believe the
Third leg gets it uh Cuts in when they get it interesting I don’t think they used to do it like that London Derry out in front everything even with the Stagger now she cuts in gets in cleanly London Derry hand over Co Brown London der making up making a big lead Co Brown on the shoulder again as we stated hard to pass here probably would just swing out wide as Londoner gets the Bell Co Brown Handover virtually tied at that point Co Brown ends up in front but right now it’s londondary well
Out and londondary will go ahead and take Heat number one of the girls 4×1 160 Co Brown May managed to catch up a little bit there with Handover not far behind and take a look at the times we got London area 134 68 Co Brown 13664 Hanover
13737 Heat number two looks like it’s going to be a duel between marac and timberlan marac will be wearing number two timberlan wearing number three for their anchor legs I like these duel it’s a little it’s a little rough if it’s a it’s a big gap
Though just you know just makes you feel a little bad about yourself yeah you want to see a race uh be kept close absolutely [Applause] there start as they we see him come around the corner see what Patrick can pick up from above again first two legs done in Lanes
It’s interesting though because the the lanes are staggered everything’s staggered so it’s even except for where the handoff is so that can uh can play into a strategy knowing what Lane you’re are in ahead of time as we see Timberlane pass off before Marram and they should be able to cut in
Now as we see them both now running in Lane one with Timberlane out in front of marac 10 m between then this is the third leg in our G’s 4X 160 Heat number two Timber Lane with the pass marac with the pass this could get a little
Tight Marx’s foot speed looks a little better yeah marac definitely closing that distance on Timberlane it’s going to get to the shoulder in the turn this turn though timberling could hold him off it’s going to be close who’s it going to be it’s going to
Be maram maram gets it at the line great anchor leg there yeah they worked well to close that distance and then uh put themselves in perfect position coming off of that turn oo look at this get it done we saw this is fun o marac 13679 Timberlane I didn’t
See why but we do have a DQ for them and you’re saying this is fun because we’re talking about Manchester here two Manchester schools well there two three but we got Memorial and Central here all right who do you guys got I got Central here just because uh I’ll be honest I
Don’t think anyone’s going to be able to keep up with uh that’s fine I got Memorial with Central’s anchor here you got Memorial yeah I’ll go opposite of you now he’s got the true option I know I uh you guys have I have I got I got
Central yeah Barber is going to be tough yeah we’ll go with uh Memorial all right took his time picking that because of the seeds that’s the only reason they’re seated about a second apart 97 we’ve seen a lot of seeds get broken today as we’ve got Memorial and Central going after it first
Exchange yeah a little bit of a run in there for Central moral is in the lead definitely in the lead that doesn’t mean anything Memorial on the inside and in the lead once they get to this next handoff then everyone’s cutting in I think you might be right Memorial clean pass Central clean
Pass they maintain distance between each other looking to go into our final [Applause] exchange there goes Barber Memorial’s anchor as well I think Memorial’s looking really good right now Central closing oh no look at this Central not even going to wait for the straight gets her on the turn even and then gone
Central dropping significantly on their seed time and a huge performance by Barber you were right on that one I wasn’t going to necessarily disagree but it was two teams you had first pick very impressive run there first pick last time so we we we take our turns here central 13.12 over mamorial
We got another interesting battle we got North vers Portsmouth right but in this anchor leg you’re going to have Janelle Thomas and Miriam NADA two of the fastest girls in the state matching up against each other what are the seed times going in 1285 for north and 12878 for Portsmouth so
Right there with each other it is probably going to come down to that anchor leg I mean North right now is off to a huge start over that’s jurus of North so jurus just had a great race again first two legs done in Lane North making up that stagger and then
Some we did see a comeback in the previous heat though we’ll see what Portsmouth has in store if they can battle back on North for uh for north and and it was for Memorial North is clean both get it off in the change Zone north with a little bit cleaner over
Psmith third leg with the Baton less than 10 met between Them stay with this shot both good handoffs that’s Thomas vers NADA Thomas has the advantage here it’s interesting Portsmouth hand off a little bit smoother well houth is right on the shoulder North out wide the inside North going to go ahead and take Heat number for fourth and final heat of
The girls 4×1 60s heat two won that though or heat three excuse me Central overall Central won at all yeah wow yeah take a look at those times North 130.3 Z Portsmith 13060 like 13.1 two or something he three I think so on to the boys the
Final event of the day we got a one-on-one here between Milford and Co Brown got seven Heats oh wow going out with a bang could have probably had a few Heats of triples but uh no no Del nothing but the duels me Fair start for Milford Co Brown Co Brown in the red
Head see what Pat can see at this [Applause] angle again the first two legs are done in Lanes all right when they do this exchange it will all be even means Co Brown has a slight Edge right now over Milford Co brown with a good lead
Here so into this anchor leg Co brown with a little baton got 40 years to go until the anchor you’re going to have Ethan neck from Co Brown and Daniel 6on from uh from Milford newick has pretty big lead here seat time for Co Brown coming into it 128 Milford was
125 as these two teams finish up we’ll see just where they are and again you can you can tell even with the bank man these are tight turns you get see uh huge Improvement there from Cole Brown actually yeah Co Brown’s anchor was kind of you know
Flailing his arms on those turns this about a 4 second improvement over there SE time and then some so Cole Brown 121 13 for 12375 both teams improving on their 4X 160 seeds which could have just been converted 4 by tws and these all 160s get converted to 200s for the the state
Me but I think we’re going to see a pretty good time drops here from Handover I can’t see their first leg but their second third and fourth legs are the Aiden the Aiden you got Powell and Bradley and and then you got uh Walken Martin anchoring them
So I think they’re not going to win it from the second heat but uh they’re going to have a very good time here winning from the second heat when there’s seven Heats would be pretty impressive Pinker comes in with a 114 seed so uh I think it be pretty tough
For anybody to take them down but all right Fair start for Heat number two was seven oh C down Handover I think Handover is going to put down a pretty good time I think they’ll I think they’ll get under sub or they’ll get under uh 120
Here it’s going to be gler handing to Powell oh Logan Cody from gtown gets the Baton it’s more of an 800 guy an outdoor at least not 100% sure what he’s been focusing on in uh indoor but he’s he’s done some good work making up the Stagger yeah these guys pretty
Close to even as they both got in here comes Bradley again your 300 meter winner who excels at these longer Sprints go toown is not letting them go though getting into this final leg going to have Martin not a great handoff yeah got it nonetheless not handovers best
Handoff but still out in front over G down I do think they’re going to get under 120 little bit over just over still best the seed Time by about 4 seconds yeah so it’s 120. 23 gown comes in at 122 your third heat third right third it’s going to be M mm Manchester
Memorial versus MV Manchester no marac Valley so many manchesters I mean there’s only three but it still gets it still gets a little confusing they used to have a Manchester City meet here on like a oh yeah I remember that weekday night I think or even on a Sunday morning yeah cuz you’ve
Got you got the you got Central you got Memorial West West Trinity and then Bishop gton BTY Brady excuse me yeah where’s Bishop G thought Brady was over in conquered Brady is in conquered but oh girton’s in uh I don’t I don’t know I think he used to be more than four teams
Though they should do a uh oh they do I was going to say like an up north meat but they have Wilderness Wilderness yeah they have Wilderness Meats that’s usually outdoor right I think they have it at kennet in Con in North Conway New Hampshire
Yeah I think that’s right CU I think I was supposed to go and commentate that but I depends where it is which one uh Wilderness I was I wasn’t paying attention for a second for outdoor yeah yeah they rotate schools it’s usually around Lakes Region all right Heat number
Three had prior commitment guess one year it was at Belmont so I think I offish ated there so MV the alma moer of my uh roommate in college Bia thappa they’re going to get the pass off first that’s the guy who came up to us
Yeah but I think with this stagger I oh yeah I they were pretty even not any more though as we see Memorial get around with that stagger everything will be even once they hand hand off here but Memorial is out in front of mar Valley might taken off a
Little early oh Mar Valley just cued just cued yeah that’s a new thing disced disced yeah they got disced there not a great sight disqualified there DED now okay so if you get disc queued are you are you staying on the track for your
Anchor l oh yeah yeah you go run you go compete finish it up you still do I mean they don’t like they might know but they don’t know for certain or like the anchor probably saw it and saw the red flag everything but you when it’s close you don’t always know
So Memorial though putting down a pretty good time here are they going to beat Handover I don’t think so no yeah it was a 121 high right yeah so Handover still got the lead here I’m sure once we get down to Pinkerton oh here’s Windam 12137 for Memorial MV as stated
DQ for a handoff out of the zone Z Zone violation heat four up next we have Windam and London Derry on the track so you got the state’s leading 300 meter Runner here anchoring for oh maybe he’s not anchoring maybe he’s Third Leg does he have a sticker on no there you
Go so he isn’t anchoring doubling back after the six yeah yeah fun stuff he’s he’s a stud soccer player too it’s pretty cold he has his initials on his sweats over there that’s very nice good for him I don’t think I have the confidence to do that to be
Honest probably soccer sweats they all have the same ones so initials you ever you ever be you were you ever a soccer guy no no should have been football football ball I run now I used to be a little bit bigger oh London der maybe almost a bit early they’re
Fine had to slow down a little bit for it but they stayed in the zone indor still a 20 M Zone yep outdoor they moved it so it’s I mean it’s interesting though cuz with the Stagger The Zone isn’t accounting for the Stagger so you definitely have your first leg running [Applause] shorter
Yeah that’s where you put your uh 55 Runners who run out of breath uh on the first [Applause] leg here we go we got a close one though Londoner over Windam right now Windam out wide Londoner with the red shorts Windam with the pass Who little sketchy there Windam now in front Londoner not going away London on the shoulder can’t get around before the turn wind with the advantage on the turn London D still out wide wind windham’s going to hold on to it Windom I think Handover still has it though taking Heat number four Handover
Still in the lead 1268 for Windam London 1293 in this heat you’re going to have Nashua North and Manchester Central did we already see Central no we saw him in the girls all these teams have uh very similar seed times Heats four five six and then you get seven other than Pinker in
Yeah Pinker and I want to say did they break the 4×1 record last year so it’s an interesting question Matt actually asked what the state record is for 4X 160 yeah I don’t know 4X 160 cuz we now do the 4 by two so I’m not sure what
That record is you’re talking 4 by one yeah I thought they broke it last year I can’t recall I mean I could probably bring it up but right now I’m a little bit uh we’re working on this meet I’m invested in this race man I am too I’m a big
Manchester Central fan here we got Central we’ve got North shout out Rory Curran 800th of a second between their seed time although Central out pretty good right Now Central in Green Lane two North with that blue in three Central out in front again once they get this baton everyone can cut in both hand off cleanly see if North can respond on this leg or the [Applause] anchor I think Central’s definitely looking pretty good had to
Slow down a little bit for the Bon with the Baton slowed down a little bit but Central still well out in front in fact that lead looks like it has increased by about 10 plus me since a lap ago pretty good Central’s going to take this one Handover still has the
Lead though what’s Hanover’s time at 12.11 I think yeah well we just saw Central right there run a 12074 North 12409 penultimate heat coming up Port Smith and uh Timberlane on the track now so I just brought up the 4X one it is memorial with a 425 2015
But I don’t know that’s the overall state record and then at the state meet yeah panker in right that was 17 yeah here we go though por Smith out to a strong start here well out in front over Timberlane Portsmouth still took off a little huge
Gap oh no they got it that was a close one [Applause] though shut out that guy again yeah well I mean if it if it’s that close where you don’t know benefit should go with a runner I think so I think we have a difference in opinions right there
Timberlan making I don’t think you DQ it unless you can guarantee that it was a DQ yeah if you’re not 100% sure oh pouth timberlan pouth in front Timberlands closed this they’re not going to be able to get it by the line but they did a
Great job of getting back in the mix and they both get under 120 there but now here’s your here’s your Big Show here P best times 118 8 Timberlane 119 38 sorry go ahead you you were saying oh we got Pinker in here Pinker in and maram and
Mar you got do 50% of the job it’s two teams maram I’m I also like maram uh but Pinkerton comes in with a 114 SE time final race of the morning now that we’re in the afternoon Pinker T coming in with SE time 11426 marac 11976 so on paper Pinkerton should be
Out handily but we’ll see uh we’ll see how things play out some of these duels can end up being a little bit closer than what is said on paper and they’re off again Pinkerton in the white marac in the [Applause] blue Pinkerton already making up that stagger again first two legs in Lanes
Handoff identical time different area of the [Applause] Zone Pinkerton light edge cuz of the turn everything even now great hand off from Pinkerton clean handoffs from both as Pinkerton is out in front over marac little bit of a gap [Applause] increasing going into the final handoff Here Comes
Morrison great handoff High Palm thumb down fingers out boom both handoffs clean Pinkerton out in front of marac as was stated in the seeds we’ll see what they can do for a a finishing time not quite going to be 114 but easily winning the meet so Pinkerton goes and takes the
Final heat of the day 11666 final heat of the meat I should say marac with a 11902 and and that does it for our morning session today once again this is New Hampshire track and field powered by Runners Al heat coverage today of course brought to you by Hoka head on over to
