I’m a KBO Futures League player. I left Korea for America in December 2022 and arrived at the tread. Sam Eades (Tread Coach) told me that he thought my mechanics were clean. But said it would be better if I used my right leg as an Early IR instead of a vertical shin and hooked my right foot to the rubber plate. I was suspicious because I thought there would be a lot of mechanics to change. But it was simple. Sam told me that in 4 weeks, I’d be able to throw 90 to 91 miles on average. I trusted and followed Sam. With an emphasis on the Darvish Drill Rotational Stepback Drill, I was able to throw while feeling my right leg, right glute, and pelvis. After about 4 weeks, I threw an astounding 90 to 91 miles and T92. I myself was surprised and amazed. After returning to Korea, I recorded 93 miles (149 to 150km) during the game on April 15 of the season and consistently after that, I threw 93 miles. The average speed during the season continued to be 92 miles, and while constantly being remotely trained, I learned a lot about plyo drills, lifting program, fatigue control, breaking ball throwing tips, editing delicate mechanisms (falling my left foot right after lifting, reducing my stride, etc.) and so on. On July 29, I hit a maximum of 94 miles in about 8 months, Playing against the Lotte Giants. Throwing 88 to 90 miles, I was able to easily develop my speed after meeting Sam on the tread. Sam is really smart at grasping players’ abilities, and he is obviously a good coach. I highly recommend that all pitchers be trained with Tread! It was the best year with Tread.
