Are today so it’s it’s nerve-wracking but it’s phenomenal yeah it’s been it’s been great and you know why you took the stage win today it’s because heroes are so bloody fast Klo but um this is this is this is where it does go a little bit

PE shaped so Ross takes the win we all happy celebrations confetti the whole lot but Ricky braik king of consistency Shadows him home in 32 seconds and that’s where the strategy came into play the probably the most difficult stage but he did what he needed to do uh van

Beverin third he’s still within Striking Distance but it’s going to be a tough one uh luchana benitz fourth Toby PR fifth and then this is a big one as well uh Bradley Cox sixth overall in the whole stage and takes the rally to win I mean he’s at he’s at a fantastic week

Hey whatever he’s been eating this week has Bo good he’s got to Bradley you got to have more of that stuff eh yeah yeah it definitely work out but I mean he did say when when we watched bits and piece of him over the weekend he said this

Week was going to be flat out and I think he’s definitely gone by his his own Credo there and gone flat out he got to rest day make sure you get to rest day I can just IM hear Alie I think alie’s probably telling him

To slow down I think I think br’s like I’ve got this you know but I mean he’s proved it and I mean tomorrow quick stage in that but he’s now moved up to to third in ready to so it’s not all over tomorrow there is 172k yeah let’s let’s not get ahead of

Ourselves here but what’s impressive is that he finished six he’s beaten the L of Kevin benitz who’s won dear before um The Colonel Sanders Mitek fitco and then Nao Fimo today down in 15 so I think his uh sort of race is run he’s lost a lot

Of time today cuz he was sitting quite quite within Striking Distance of of taking the the deer but um today was a little bit Ana for him so yeah not the best one for Nao and then South African boys Sharon Mo 23rd Ash thixton 34th

Good run for him and then um yeah can’t mind handwriting Ronald fenter 57th and then shart Gregory maybe a little bit of a slow day but it was a tough one we know he’s been feeling the elements a little bit but he’s down in 77th but again important all South Africans are

Through again yeah and Stuart will be happy being in the 70s he’s there for the experience he’s um having a good race he’s racing with American guy um Ranger I forget his name and they’re having a a good time and he’s having a proper proper experience yeah for sure

But I think everyone is I mean everyone we’ve spoken to is having the time of the life I mean they say it’s the most difficult that car but good time was had by all you know so well yeah I said that that that’s on the South African side

There are some Oaks that are taking sh cuz I think there were two withdrawals today so Oaks are still falling out at uh at a quite a steady Pace you know Craig how important is a strong result in D for hero South Africa um well it it is important for us we’ve been

Supporting Ross for the last two years and trying to get here uh we know the Mark is strong doesn’t just break down it goes very well um and this year I said to Ross this is the year it’s going to happen you know what I mean and for

Us the most important thing is two years ago no one had heard of hero everyone thought it’s this or it’s that and what motors in that bike but that bike’s designed in Germany same as the expulse in the Motorsport Division and it’s all Germans and Italians and that entire

Bike is is a hero and I think the energy that we’ve seen in expulse Riders has been phenomenal the nicest people celebrating how well he’s doing so there’s a lot of energy in the brand and I think the most important thing for us is that people Now understand that her

What an exciting day I think if guy didn’t have the unfortunate situation today I think he would possibly have finished fourth string today indeed and there’s reasons for that which we’ll get to because there’s always reasons and they’re not excuses there are reasons Daka is a team sport it’s the ultimate

Exactly what’s going on inside the car this is to stop from the old days they used to have the route and send it off to there was a guy in France and there was the real good guy was in England and you’d sell them send

Them the road book that you got at 8:00 on the Friday night and he would spend the whole night mapping this out on Google Earth and putting where the way points were and then looking for the fastest way around that and then he’d send that back to you

On I have I’m told that it got printed out on A3 maps and the difficulty was when you missed the car going there that you had to catch an Uber to go to the start of the race in South America which is another story altogether and they

Would take these maps and follow the root so the map men famous map men are gone it’s all on um on on root books so yeah it was um it was super interesting to yeah yeah well like we said there’s still a lot of racing to happen navigation has been tricky yeah this

This this whole D that guysa struggled so anything can happen tomorrow so just to go back to the camera you don’t put your seat belts on for 12 seconds get a penalty 12 minutes 12 seconds yeah but he’s got a penalty for 12 minutes I had

I made a note but clearly I can’t read my own one minute penalty for 12 seconds okay so they’d got in the car they got their belts on they hadn’t got them super tight and the camera showed it give them a penalty so that’s the importance of um wearing there are

Truckloads of penalties for not wearing um safety equipment so so we we’ve we’ve looked at a video and I don’t know if people will be able to find it cuz I want to come back to this then we don’t have to do it now but um you’re just

Reasons guy Bol finished in 10th did I did mention that s varaa um and Fran Cay came in in fifth you might have I might have I think so without further Ado he’s my driver of the day for sure well I’m just putting it out there 18 years old

First AAR battled shoulder saw yesterday did the the deal today so butol was on for a fourth fifth position um but he finished 10th 22 minutes behind so they arrived at um let’s go to 42nd position Lucas Mar is in alond Monsoon 2 hours 9 minutes behind they clapped a rock mhm

And at kilometer 360 360 was it’s like right near the end yeah um same Rock the second rock that lob hit as well and they removed portions of the suspension of the car so guide stopped there he was running as I say running in the top five

Um stopped and they actually took the damper out of the car front damper and started fitting it to Lucas’s car and then Seth Cantera arrived and cana’s way out of the standings and said okay guys hold on take your damper back put it back in your car and carry on racing and

Cantero gave Marias his damper and Cano at the time of shut off of new info into our our program he was still not at the um at the BW so that’s the the team Dynamic that goes in there now there was another team Dynamic so we see that lob

Is way down the back at kilometer 192 he struck the Earth with some Force I’m sure TOA Hilux would have gone straight over the rock that he hit but because it’s a pro drive Hunter with English suspension that hasn’t been tested in South Africa it broke the

Lower AR I’ll stick by it I saw pictures of it it is Mickey freaking Mouse it is I mean you just look at that we see the cars that we run here and they built out of Hefty stuff and you see the that little it’s like a formula

The scenes stuff all the work that goes into it that’s why I’m exhausted it’s it’s so much that goes into preparing for that race and the discipline and their their Fitness but 13,000 K in Namibia that’s a thing so the Toyota’s got a wishbone with a cross-section like

I’ll live with it you look at all the South African cars that unless they hit they break bodies before the the car breaks um and then eventually after L broke the next one Yung Yung Ang Z stopped in the Chinese car he’ actually phoned to call for the truck he was

Going to abandon um and then he took apart from yungan Z and he carried on going so then he stopped again at kilm 370 so that thing is fragile AF um we’ll talk about the overall results where they came in we’ve done botol with his um with his damper and it

The interview I was referring to that I I saw where he turns around and he says that um Ricky brabeck was better than him faster than him in this race and it my interpretation of of what he said was that he’s going to finish and not try

And it’s to you can’t make up 10 minutes so yeah it’s it’s a short stage but thing is anything can happen but like as a as a racer you can look at different scenarios do you sort of hold like sort of get in front and try and slow him

Down and let the other guys catch up and hope there’s a bit of traffic and maybe something happens or do you push him hard to to make him think you’re going for The Gap and maybe force him to a or do you just settle so there’s like so

Many different scenarios but he’ll only pretty much know what the right strategy is tomorrow when he gets on the bike I think once you know how you’re feeling how you’re riding what the conditions are like that’s where you make the decision but it’s not all done and

Dusted yet anything can happen but don’t you love his energy happy is and don’t forget not just this before that he was for months riding that bike testing it and you know like with with Ross I know I know for a fact he goes to like all

Euro store openings and all sorts just so Astic to meet people and talk about bike riding and that kind of stuff but he’s a super cool guy yeah he’s a phenomenal guy he really is um yeah so just moving on there natur fourth I think he’s a bit cooked in the overall I

We’re going to choose a rider and a driver of the whole race never mind the stage that’s tough it’s going to be a real real tough one um yeah Sharon Mo 21st and Ninth in rally too so he’s still within the top 10 uh Ash Thon

32nd his objective was top 20 in uh ready two and he’s there and he’s still sitting fourth in the rookies Ronald fenter 63rd 47th in R 2 and 21st in the rookies and then sh Gregory the Hardman himself 64th 48th and 82 and then uh

Ninth in the man Moto so so I mean if you look at the results all the way down everyone has had a solid effort still a lot to play for but I don’t think there’s anyone walking away in the bike South African wise that will be unhappy with their performance of this St

Off I think number one to get to the end particularly the guys who are not fighting for the actual the the victory yeah um to get to the end is a major major achievement yeah so yeah that’s that’s pretty much my song and dance on
