That’s that but mate I’m telling you I’ve been everywhere in sport I’ve been to NF UFC you know in and seen Grand finals big events value for money the 20 bucks we paid to get in and watch that which was an absolute laugh was I think it’s got
To be up there oh an absolute Ripper wasn’t it yeah as you said value for money like all different people there lots of kids lots of um uh people of our age uh who are um really enjoying themselves as well it was great well it was good it was an absolute
The night uh the rock didn’t show up unfortunately no he wasn’t there but we thought he was going to be but you know anyway maybe next time he might have bigger fish to fry at WrestleMania oh yes indeed oh very good mate so yeah if you if you’re out there uh listeners and

It’s you know any other sports gam Shane war and cricket was a I was a massive fan of that back in the day but yeah sports games I’m all in um generally the other stuff I haven’t I haven’t quite got into it Mario Kart yeah I’m all for
That yes I love me Mario Kart I love my um uh FIFA and um and Shane W Cricket as you said back in the day remember the beach ball cheat yes yes oh definitely got into a little bit of of um uh Call of Duty as well um in in the mid 20s
With the boys but before gaming really um took off on a global scy where you could play people all over the world so see I never never indulged in that um online world so like yeah playing online and challenging myself I I didn’t get the chance Y no I was exactly the same
Mate and um but I’ve seen someone has taking gaming to the next level so for the people who love um you know a bit of Gaming maybe they’re PlayStation people maybe they’re Nintendo people I don’t know the Sega Mega Drive who knows but someone’s taken it to a new level
They’ve thought my TV is not big enough you can get some big TVs these days you can get some big TVs do you know what they’ve used mate the Jumbotron at Fenway Park oh what they’ve used the Jumbotron at Fenway Park oh let’s check this out what so so somebody is playing
Fortnite they’re playing fortnite so they’re playing fortnite and oh someone’s recorded it yeah so I’ve never played um fortnite but huge everyone knows everyone’s seen the dancers especially teachers you know your kids have been fro and over him for for years that’s right that’s right so that’s um
That’s uh the Jumbo Tron at Fenway uh don’t believe there’s a game on but someone just decided to use so somebody who’s actually works at fanway Park has got the keys and going in there and going you know what I’m going to hook up the HDMI cable to they might be short of
A job but in terms of record you reckon that’s the biggest game of fortnite I think I think so I think so have to be the challenge is set though yeah I think so I think the challenge is set all right mate what else have we got um what
Else we got mate that was about it for you that was about it for me well mate um it’s winter in the northern hemisphere so a lot of what we do you know is dictated by what we see in the northern hemisphere as well we love a nice summer Christmas but um obviously
Uh in the north it’s uh it’s winter and they generally will hit the slopes and the h holiday season and the like um do you do much skiing mate I’ve done a little bit of skiing but I haven’t done a hell of a lot of skiing but um yeah
I’ve got a few interesting stories what’s one of the biggest challenges of um of skiing that you found or snowboarding and the like yeah so staying up balance staying up yeah what about getting off the chairlift oh well mate I’ve got a story about that for you
Well getting off the chairlift is hard enough as it is okay for some especially those who are just getting into the craft but fancy if chairlift was malfunctioning have a look at this so in Europe this is one of the chairlifts where it’s obviously had an electrical
Malfunction and it is hooking and it is spilling off punters left right and Center have a look at this dangerous so the smart people as you can see for those viewers at home so what’s happening there chairlifts just accelerating and there’s no slowing down so usually when you’re on the chairlift
Or go a certain pace and then as you go to get off and talking around ah head back up it’ll slow right down so so the patrons can get off this one has only has broken not only accelerated but then has no braks um that’s that’s just the
First footage there but if we skip over to the second one have a look at this play oh no he’s going off he absolutely flying off so yeah this one explains it a bit more where there was a high voltage uh mishap and uh look at it and they the
Chairs just start crashing into each other yeah mate well I had a um an experience I was skiing over in Canada with a couple of mates uh going back 10 or 12 years and I’ve never really done much skiing up to that and so we were just on the little beginner Scopes and
You know those little pulley lifts you stick between your legs and they the the te bar yeah I’ve had a spill off that and it’s gotten caught under me leg and it’s just dragging me up the SL so this happens regularly to people and every time it happens and it’s been videoed

A lot mate about just fishing for a headline but you know you got to play credit when credit is due cuz um a big story this week coming out of South Africa is um Oscar Pistorius the Blade Runner has been released from prison uh did you hear about that I did yes yeah
So obviously um it was obviously a tragic circumstances that uh and huge story yeah huge story but um The Daily male has absolutely nailed it because straight away I mean they’ve seen an opportunity they’ve grabbed it with two hands for their headline Oscar’s Pistorius walks free y well clearly he
Doesn’t walk cuz he’s he’s the blade Runner so I mean they have absolutely taken it for a ride and just going you know what it’s been years he’s been in jail for his crimes but you know what let’s give him another jab let’s give him another jab yeah so Oscar Pistorius
Walks free from jail and they yeah slag him off talks about how he’s a chain maker and the like now but um yeah anyway Oscar’s out and um yeah that was that was just awful yeah that was absolutely um yeah unbelievable looking back on it at the time cuz it was so
Close after what he’d done at the Olympics um not that that was the worst part of that story now if given the opportunity halftime entertainment halftime entertainment is I would say an absolute institution in sports yeah it’s very important um some do it better than others yeah some do it
A lot better than others um if you’re doing and running halftime entertainment you got to be aware that you got to keep the punters excited but also too A lot of them are going to get a pie and a beer or whatnot so you know you want to
Keep you know everybody entertained now this young fellow who supports Crystal Palace in the English Premier League got the opportunity to come out and take a penalty now you would hope if you were the police or the stewards at the uh at the game at sellor Park
That all the Brighton fans were actually going to get a pie on a beer at this time because he took this opportunity with two hands mate so have a look at this he comes up takes the penalty okay Young fella Nails it then he runs over proceeds to run
Over to the Brighton fans give him the double finger and just absolutely rip into him tell him give him the shush oh oh how good is that y well done talk about taking the opportunity taking the opportunity oh yeah it was a good pen and um yeah obviously you know just
Couldn’t help himself went over and just absolutely gave it to the opposition fans the traveling away support um I could mate that was an absolute Ripper of video and M do you know if I was that age I don’t even know if I would even think to do something like that
No um final little thing mate a lot of has caught my eye this week but ep’s list is out oh yep EP list I don’t know about you mate but I was like a kid waiting for Santa yeah waiting for ep’s list to drop who is going to be on the
List and there was no real surprises was there no no no I don’t think so now first and foremost we must put it out there that just because you’re on Epstein’s list doesn’t indicate any wrongdoing whatsoever it’s just flight logs and you know and he met with lots
Of people you know there’s obviously conspiracies and ideas as to what he actually did and who did what where and the like and we won’t go into that but it was interesting just to see the names pop up on the list yeah it was but one of the names was probably
More interesting than most potty yep Steven Hawking yeah stepen Hawking has turned up on Epstein’s list now for whatever reason we don’t know however the internet sure enough had ideas about it and they have been delivering those ideas relentlessly in meme form over the last couple of

See that one so where and i’ I’ve heard sort of debate over Aaron was having a crack at him saying that a lot of people that he knew would be on the list but people have taken it as if to say he would be on the list yeah either way Jimmy Kimmel’s response
Where he said that I’ll see you in court you’re lost Jimmy yeah yeah you’re lost when you go to that length you’re lost you’re lost you lost the argument because if you want to be that guy who goes oh I’ll take you to court you’re lost yeah you know because the punters

Roosters they uh as you’ve got written on our run sheet mate they are perennial contenders perennial contenders I think after last season there is an expectation on the E suburbs that they’re going to bounce back there has to be a bounce back now they like we say
That about the day wi they still made the finals and made the second week of the finals so you know and we’re this close but if you if you looked at their roster going into last year there was expectation that they were going to be right there with penth and Melbourne
Yeah they probably had a couple of fall over late where they were able to slip in and then they do what they do and just had enough class to get very close to a prelim but um as they always do the roosters they’ve improved their roster Spencer Leno has signed with the
Roosters there was a lot of talk in the midp pointer last year about him heading to the dogs not to be the case yeah um be really interested to see how Spencer goes out there cuz he will be a starting for starting front rower I’d imagine out
There y um then they’ve also well that’s the big one sorry to just cut you off there mate like Spencer has been a I mean he was an impact forward and you know but the money that they’ve got him for they’re going to be expecting him to
Play more of a role especially with Jared wara harra is coming to the end of his career yeah yeah well and Jared I think has sign on for another 12 months but I think you’ll be seeing Jared finish a very illustrious career very soon uh the other big signing there for
Me is Dominic young Dominic young hot property that xfactor style of player very very fast and and they’ve bought him in so he signed a 2027 so uh Daniel T’s got one year I think left on his contracts I’m I imagine they see him as a long-term Winger for them a longterm

As a bit of depth so and he comes over and gets his chance in the NRL but he has been the the caveat to that is he was ruled out for the duration of last Super League season with an ACL injury so he is coming on the back of a
Recovery so I think he may you know someone like even though it would have been an exciting signing you know for the UK Super League looking at another player going to the NRL I think it’s probably roosters fans just pump the brakes on that one yep yep so um see how
They go there um a host of losses though yeah a lot of it depth a lot of dep a host of losses the the two that stand out for me um there are um Fletcher Baker who finished the year playing really well for them an astute uh pick
Up by Kevy Walters when they lost big flag earlier in the year and he looks like he’s going to come in and fill in a first grade spot um up there straight away so I think he’s going to be a bit of a loss for them obviously Spencer
Lenu you say oh well he more than nullifies that and to some extent I guess you’re right but I’m more thinking they’re not bringing um um Spencer Lino into be a depth flyer they’re bringing him in to be the number one yes well I mean you you could possibly get away with
Provided um jwh is is firing you could get away with bringing still bringing on Spencer and playing that role but eventually he is going to have to gravitate to the to the leading role without a doubt and the other one that’s stood out to me is Drew Hutchinson who
Was at the roosters for 5 years a bit of their Mr Fixit sort of guy played a fair bit off the bench but he played center 5’8 a halfback even filled in the forwards from time to time maybe even had a couple of starts at Hooker yeah so
He’s been really good for them and uh I guess the reason it’s stands out is it’s really going to have to be Sammy Walker’s time isn’t it like so he he hit the scene maybe two or three years ago absolutely on fire few injuries last year but the last two seasons I’d
Suggest he probably hasn’t progressed as much as people might have thought I mean there was a lot of RS put on him early when they got rid of you know and when Mitchell Pierce departed yep um got rid of departed um there it was too early
For Sam Walker let’s be clear about that but the fact that kir got injured um there was a need there and he met that need at the time and there was a bit of excitement about him but yeah we’re looking at probably like you’re saying this season being the one where he
Establishes himself as a first grade footballer cuz he’s on Big M yeah definitely and I must say fairly unfair like you know his only sin was he hadn’t developed in a Nathan clear well he hadn’t developed like let’s be fair inam like we’re talking about a player who
Should have you know been getting a good string of you know New South Wales Cup games under his belt and being able to you know holistically progress through the ranks and he was just thrown in so yeah yeah and people do forget about Nathan clear as good as he is he debuted
In 16 I don’t think he rose to the Pinnacle of one of the game’s best players until 2020 so he was four five years into his um first grade career so give Samy Walker a minute I reckon yeah and um in saying that too if you’re going to do the comparison James Maloney
Is a very different sidekick to Luke Keri yeah so James Maloney is going to take a lot of the the shine you know he’s going to niggle he’s going to be you know he’s going to commentate are going to talk a lot more about James Maloney rather than the Luke Ki who goes

Seems like the signing that is going is saying he’s a player who wants to come over and be a New Zealand Warrior yeah and I think it’s good for the club oh definitely and and he’ll um he’ll be really good for them because they lost um curan who um moved over to the
Bulldogs so you know they they needed to replace him so whether he plays Off the Bench or he’s um I think Jackson Ford is one of their Edge um back rows over there so whe whe whether he plays Off the Bench or he gets a start he plays
Quite well in the middle um so I think he’s going to be a really good signing so at the moment yeah for me the retaining of that playing roster has been there ailles Hill last cple with Roger coming backwell coming in some good exciting young players Chanel T
Harris coming back and obviously you’ve got met KF and Johnson who played extremely well in the halves last season and um tamari Martin as well who was so so I think it’s it’s pretty exciting if you’re a if you’re a w man it is I look
At the um I look at the gains versus the losses and they’re one of the clubs that you look at and it stands out that they’ve improved there Austin now I was speaking uh to yourself and some other people a while ago don’t know if we did
It on air but um about I don’t know if the Warriors will be able to get the same sort of a run cuz they won nine of their last 10 or something like that and quite often when you have clubs who go on runs like that it’s hard to replicate
That yeah but the one thing that they have done that other clubs haven’t is they have significantly improved their roster Roger to ofasa Sheek oh I mean yeah is a DI Player of the Year a Premiership player and so he’s come he’s come back as well he’ll be fit and

Opportunity and let them fight for it and also too mate the tickets are selling fast for the world club challenge man apparently they’ve already sold 18,000 over there now for we’re probably of that is you know Die Hard rugby league fans who are used to the origins The Grand finals and stuff but
Um from a UK perspective that’s a that’s a good sell 18,000 18,000 already with only six to go I know what you’re saying about Grand finals and Origins but if you look at the week Toe games a lot of games aren’t getting 18,000 to well this is a preseason game essentially you know
You know the super League’s usually probably two or three rounds in by the time the world club challenge comes around but for the NRL teams this has always been a preseason match so you know you know there’s a bit of excitement about it which is good yeah
Ah anyway mate so we we’ll continue on next week but it’s it’s definitely heating up the the footy mate it’s it’s exciting so um yeah onwards and upwards mate um but speaking about sports captains of the world have you seen that on Netflix so I’ve seen it
Come up but I haven’t had a chance to watch it um as of yet so I’m I’m probably I’m five episodes out of the sixn yeah okay and so what it is is about the um the World Cup yep last year so it’s a it’s a drive to survive style
Um look at the World Cup it’s it’s pretty good it’s you know I I it’s as good as you know the sports documentar is getting pumped out by Netflix really good access to content like through FIFA so and and the commentary and the like which is really helps with the the
Production side but I just couldn’t help the thing that really let me down is it just became that Messi Ronaldo wankfest that we you know a lot of it is just about the story lines of Ronaldo’s Portugal and Messi’s Argentina which obviously we all know went all the way
And for me I’m just like mate like the Morocco story is done really well there’s a bit on the USA but you know for even for us as Australians like we had one of the best runs the the most yeah you know it wasn’t you know people
Weren’t giving us much of a chance and we got through to the 16 and we you know sure enough nearly beat Argentina you know but we didn’t really get much there was a little bit on Australia but I I thought and I could be completely wrong
