All right what’s up guys we’re back with another video the 2024 season is just a few short weeks away so today I’m going to be walking you guys through what I’m going to be throwing for the 2024 season um first up the bag I’m going to be

Going with the new Arctic blue Legend 3.0 made by Squatch really really durable bag best bag that I’ve ever used um it didn’t wear out at all over the last season I was using like the the black and orange one the only reason I switched to the blue one is cuz blue is

My favorite color I kind of had to putting Putters we’ve got these brand new uh crazy tough swirl Challenger SS’s last year I puted with the hards and I do just like a really really stiff plastic I want to be able to like grip it and have it just have zero give zero

Like movement um and so Discraft did this special run for me uh and this is what I’m going to be putting with next year this year not next year um next up my throwing Putters we’ve got the three time Europe p and champion page Pierce Crystal Fierce find this is just a

Little bit more stable run of uh Fierce and I really like it for most straight shots flip up shots with a Putter and then probably my more go-to for just kind of standard approaches is the ESP Challenger SS um even though the Challenger SS is known as a bit of like an understable

Disc in the premium plastic it actually flies pretty stable when I throw it my as hard as I can it goes super super straight and then if I take any off of it it actually flies pretty overstable so really good trusty approach disc and then of course we’ve got the

Gecko Zone I threw this all over the place last year it’s beat in to a spot that I really really like it’s just a little bit straighter than it was out of the bag but still has the over stability of a zone so this is what I throw for

Most of my forehand approach shots and then when I need a little extra stability I’ve got one of my Z zones um both the ESP and the Z I like something that’s like really puddle top I find it’s a little extra stable and it just feels really really good for me in my

Grip um I do also bag a jawbreaker Zone however this may not stay in the bag for very long I generally throw this one because once it beats in it’s actually very flippy I can just throw it hard on a lot of Heiser it’ll flip up and go straight however I’ve actually been

Playing around with throwing a buzz SS for that slot instead um just cuz like as as great as this disc flies when it’s beat in it also gets really lumpy when it’s beaten and it can be kind of hard to find a really good spot to grip when

It’s at its best like flight characteristics so this is in the bag for now um kind of as a comfort thing but if that new Buzz SS shot is really really working well on tour it’ll probably come out um and then a disc that I’ve been playing around with more

This offseason and it may come in and out of the bag for more like wooded shots is the Zone OS it’s super overstable and for most shots my more stable zone is all I really need but I may want this for some like weird shapes

When I’m in the woods and I’m I’m in trouble so this one tentatively in the bag now moving on to mid-ranges mentioned a moment ago the buzz SS one of my favorite mid-ranges super super underrated um a lot of people are trying to get a really straight mid-range and they go for the

Buzz but the buzz is actually just a little bit too much for them then the buzz s is what you want for me this is something I can throw on good bit of Heiser and get it to flip up or I can throw it flat and get it to drift to the

Right and then like I said when I was talking about the zones I’ve been throwing it more forehand a lot recently because it actually has a pretty similar profile and feel to the zone and it’s surprisingly torque resistant for how understable it is so been messing around

With it for more like straight forehand uh shots because I don’t have to hit it as hard as I do the zone and I don’t have to wait for a Zone to break in I can grab one of these out of the box it flies exactly how I want

Then next up this is another one that I threw a whole bunch last year it is the 2020 page Pierce Tour series Buzz these came out nice and flat and they don’t seem to beat in too much A lot of times like stock run buzzes especially like

ESP buzzes they fly great out of the box but then they start to fly like a buzz SS um before too long and so I really like this run because it just holds its stability it stays super super neutral um and yeah definitely happy to have this one in the

Bag and then next up we’ve got a Chandler fry glow Buzz this is the last one I have from this run that he gave me but um again nice and flat the way I like a buzz and it’s just a little bit more overstable than that 2020 page pierced

R now I didn’t throw it a ton last year and I’ve actually changed what plastic I’m going to be throwing this mold in this year but this is the buzzos I was throwing the Z metallic last year because it was the most overstable run that I could find um it’s because I was

Trying to find like a faster really overstable mid-range for forehand um but now that I’ve kind of figured out the Zone a little bit more I found that I don’t really need that slot and so I’m actually liking the ESP a little bit better because while it still has a ton

Of over stability I get just a little bit more forward push out of it um I found last year with the Z metallic it was pretty Sim because of how overstable it was it was actually pretty similar uh used to a Zone and so there was kind of

Some overlap there but with the ESP I get a little bit more distance out of it and so I’m not getting that overlap and moving on to Fairways I’ve got my Heats I didn’t intentionally get to with a spiral die but it just kind of worked out that way

Um this one it’s another one that Chandler fry gave me um this is my roller disc um I find it doesn’t take a ton of angle to get it down but super easy to roll this thing and it can go crazy crazy far and then this is my Z swirl Sparkle

Heat it’s a little bit more overstable than the one that I predominantly use use as a roller although I can use this as a little bit more overstable roller this kind of comes in and out of the bag depending on the course I’m playing most

Of the time if I have a right finishing shot I’m going to go with a forehand but sometimes uh certain wooded courses you don’t want that hard finish to the right and that’s when I like to have something like this in the back CU I can throw it

On a Hiser it’s going to flip up really really smooth and then drift to the right and finish on the right side of the Fairway so um not in the bag all the time but in the bag you know here and there when I need that specific

Shot to get to bag um because they let us try these when we had our team weekend in uh in Florida um this is the cicada and so I started bagging the Z cicada because that’s what was available on the road that’s what came out as the

Test flights um but now that we’ve got ESP cicas that’s what’s in the bag these just feel like a little bit longer Buzz to buzz SS for me um I throw probably more nine-speed Fairways more often than not but I needed something that was kind of in between the faster Fairway and my

Mid-ranges so that’s the cicada for me for that understable slot same kind of speed similar speed and similar purpose is the Athena this is kind of like a baby vulture um when I need distances kind of in between my buzzes and my vultures I reach for an Athena getting into the nine-speed

Fairway drivers um this wasn’t in the bag for almost all of last year I actually didn’t start bagging this mold until right before the throw pink women’s disc golf championships and that is the Undertaker so I’m going to go with two undertakers the first one is my signature series which these are

Actually pretty understable compared to most stock runs um so this is almost kind of like a longer heat but not quite as understable as a heat um if I throw it on a lot of angle I can get it to go straight forever um and I can also get

It to kind of drift right if I need to so Signature Series Undertaker and then this is the disc that got me to throw the Undertaker um this is a TI Undertaker it was thrown quite a bit before I got it actually got it in a

Used bin at Myrtle Beach um as part of a used disc challenge that I did for fun with my friends and then it flew exactly like a disc that I had lost the week before so I decided to slide into the bag for the throw pink women’s disc golf

Championship and I ended up winning that event um so it clearly earned its spy in my bag TI Undertaker and of course one of my favorite disc graft molds um this is my overstable faster Fairway it is the vulture so right now I’m bagging two I

Used to bag three I used to bag a really beat up vulture but the Undertaker has kind of taken that slot so now I’m down to two vulture slots in my bag the first one is my Tour series from 2023 um this one’s like pretty neutral

To overstable um there were some in this run that were a little bit more understable but the ones that I like are where I can throw it really really hard and it never really turns that much unless it’s a headwind um really nice neutral it’s a slightly overstable disc

And then if I need little more overstability I’ve got my jawbreaker Z vulture um which is just a tick more over stable than the Tour series two Raptors um there is some overlap between the Raptor and the vulture but I like the feel of the Raptor for forehands a

Lot better than I like the vulture so that’s predominantly what I use the Raptor for um this one is a swirly ESP Raptor that Bob my team manager gave me at the start of last year um because I told him I needed something that was flippy um

And that I could throw for forehand and so I’ve got a nice flippy Raptor I don’t really have a good backup for it I’ve uh picked out some like lighter weight Raptors that are pretty close but um really important that I don’t lose this disc cuz it’s my best like straight forehand

Shot and then we’ve got just a regular old zaptor this one’s brand new cuz I kind of beat in the one that I was throwing all last year um to a little bit flipper than what I’m really looking for not as flippy as my flippy Raptor

But flipper than what I want for this kind of middle slot I want to be able to throw this hard and flat and only get like a little bit of turn but mostly get a nice right finish and then new in the bag for this season is the zlex

Captain’s Raptor so last year I threw the ESP Raptor Captain’s Raptor which was just a little bit straighter than this one um I like that this one I can get over on it like a little bit harder I’ve been really working on the flex sidearm and so I wanted a little bit

More overstable run than the ESP run and um this fit that bill perfectly so zlex Captain’s rptor going in the bag there’s another disc that kind of comes in and out of the bag depending on the shots that I need and that is the ESP Scorch in general it’s a little more

Understable than what I like to throw for most of my distance shots but because it’s a little more understable it makes it really easy to still get distance when I’m throwing up extreme slopes so I think like there’s some holes at MVP some holes at De Moine challenge where I’m throwing like

Directly uphill and so I like just sticking with my same like comfortable higher angle but going with something that’s pretty understable it’s going to still like flip up and get a lot of distance despite having to throw it up in the air so much so ESB Scorch and now we’re getting into my

Main drivers so we’ve got the force um for kind of my main distance shot I like to go with like a 170 to 172 G ESP Force they’re just a little bit more understable than a max weight um and so after a little bit of seasoning this thing flies just beautifully for me

I can get a full flight out of it but it always still comes back to the left um it never really gets to a point where it’s just turning over on me and I’m not able to use it anymore this one was in the bag all last year and I made sure to

Get a bunch more that looked exactly like it so if I ever lose it um I won’t ever be like hurting for this spot and then there is the team stamped ESP Force run that they gave us at the beginning of last year I’ve got a whole

Bunch of these um but I use them for just that more overstable slot um a lot of times for forehand or for just like stock Hiser shots I go with this one and the new in the bag this year I’ve actually decided I’m going to start

Throwing the zforce um so last year I pretty much just I would bag two from this run one that was really overstable and kind of new and then one that had been beat in a little bit and I would just cycle them but I found that I actually had several uh really

Overstable Z forces that were a little more overstable than that one and I’m hoping that this doesn’t have to be cycled as much so I’m going with the zforce for most situations this is going to be more or plenty overstable for what

I’ll need um I do like to put a n in the bag for like the crazy crazy windy days you know the stuff that you get at like ddl Waco where it’s just like ripping headwinds and you’re having to change your whole game plan I like to go with

Something that’s really really beefy but a little bit flatter um but for the most part this is going to going to be plenty in terms of overstability all right and then last but not least when I need just absolute max distance and I’m okay sacrificing a little bit of accuracy or having a

Little bit more side to side movement I go with a nuke so this one is actually one of the nukes that won me the CTP at Maple Hill last year um I had never thrown this nuke before that competition but this one and then I have another one

That’s just like it as a backup um right at of the Box bomb for me I mean I can throw them on Hiser they flip up I get a full flight and even as they’ve beat in they haven’t gotten too flippy or like unpredictably Flippy and so this disc is

Definitely earned a spot in my bag as my just bomber disc um this one is a 170 to 172 G so just like the four skting one that’s a little bit lighter than max weight I find for me just immediately gives a lot more distance

So and then when I do need I still want that Max distance but maybe I’ve got a little bit of a headwind or I don’t want as much right movement I want more of a guarantee that I’m going to finish left I do have a max weight ESP nuke um

Really important thing I think with nukes is to find something that’s just super super pop top because as they beat in the flatter nukes kind of get to a point where they turn and then they just kind of stay over whereas I find the domier ones as they beat in they have a

Little bit more of a smooth turn and then they’ll still try to kind of fight back um I find that just gets more important the faster the discs get thank you so much you guys for watching and I’ll see you guys in Florida here in a couple weeks get this season started

  1. and the award for most beautiful dyed discs goes to Holyn! (almost every disc you have) excited for the Season kicking off soon!

  2. Sick Dyes.

I encourage you to reach out to Chris Dickerson and see if he’ll let you toss one of his PFN Esp Predators. I think you’ll find this disc may help you eliminate a few molds that overlap & feels incredible in the hand. It kinda fits between a vulture & raptor. I use it for backhand & forehand. Seriously underrated disc that Discraft pros are sleeping on, except for Chris of course. I’m hoping Dickerson makes it his tour series so I can get a sick Esp swirl. Discraft is currently only running a Big Z version of it sadly.

Cool to see you bagging the Cicada & Athena. My bag looks very similar to yours.
    Good luck this year!!

  3. That 2020 buzzz, mmm 😋
