I know this may seem like an obvious change or basic fundamentals. But in all my years of working on my swing and even getting lessons, I was never told I had the grip too much in my palm and too weak of a left hand.
That all changed when a @PGA of America Golf Professional came up to me at the range and said to strengthen my left hand and get it more in my fingers.
As someone who’s struggled with an open club face for 18+ years, this simple change seems to be the thing that will finally get my face closer to square and minimize the big miss (or at least keep my big misses on the property).
I’m so pumped and shocked I didn’t learn this soon. Anyone else recently figure this out? Thoughts?

I just learned something about the golf swing that literally blew my mind I wish I knew this 18 years ago has to do with the left hand I had no idea how important it was let me tell you what happened so a random guy came up to me
At the range and told me I know how to fix your big right Miss with the driver now normally I’m not one to listen to a random guy at the range but lucky for me this guy was a PJ of America golf professional and I took his advice he
Told me it’s all in your left hand it’s way too weak I need you to H it more in your fingers not in your palm so I played around with this feel it actually felt like I was hyper extending my left arm kind of pronated my left bicep and
Turned my hand way in so that it naturally went in my fingers I didn’t even know the club was in my Palms so I started trying it put it more in my fingers now the face is square and I’m starting to hit the ball great again so
Don’t make the same mistake I made don’t waste 18 years trying to figure stuff out for yourself use a PJ of America professional pay for lessons not new equipment also check your left hand I think it could be the key to everything
