All right guys welcome back to another episode of break 75 I’m here in Dubai jir Gula states on the fire course few days ago I played the Earth course with Tommy Fleetwood if that video is out yet hopefully enjoyed it if not it’s coming very soon but now we’re on the other

Course the fire course and I’m playing solo today and I’ve got one Focus one objective to play the best golf I can possibly shoot and to break 75 now it’s been a bit of a madic rush this morning there’s no excuses let’s kick things off

Power for start let’s go and rip it like And subscribe enjoy this one and let’s go and break 75 in the sun just under 400 yards power four straight down a bunk the one thing with the Earth course there was an awful lot of bunkers facing you with crisp white sanding it looks

Like there’s something quite similar here on the fire course as well right let’s rip one dead straight down the middle little bit bit leaky up the right it’s bounced I like that sign it’s bounced I thought there was going to go in the bunker then but we are in a good

Spot feeling good about this round for some reason not sure why cuz all the preparation would tell me this not is going to be a good round however sometimes do expect it can happen let’s go and rip it up let’s go and shoot a good score okay not a bad t-shot just

Down the right hand side 60 yards left into this flag right that was a terrible little pitch chip from just off the green go okay little bit better we got that for par okay par put up the hill right to left Rick okay boogey on the first after after only

Being 60 yards away from the green that’s annoying all right we move on to the next don’t let it affect us today 161 yards second hole par three pin looks like it’s tucked at the front left corner huge bunker on this hole but a lot of it decoration unless you leave it

Just a fraction short and it might capture it I’m going to hit eight iron frustrating start there but come on let’s get it back should be pretty good hopefully that’s on the front edge of the green hopefully I to find this front portion of the green let’s see if we can

Bounce back straight away with the birdie up the hill right to Left [Laughter] bounce back ability okay I’d tell you what that was going at some speed as well if that hadn’t got in the hole that might have been a tricky put Bast but back to level par bogey the first birded the second just easing into this round now

Okay third hole Par Four pretty much straight down there straight back into sun which always makes things a little bit trickier there’s a bunker left one right we just need to split the farway just towards that bunker on the left hopefully it stayed short of it should be

Fine should be fine okay just stayed short of this bunker 140 yards to the pin I’m just going to hit a little 90 90% 9 should be good didn’t see it down but it should be good felt like a good contact find it really hard hitting straight into sun feel like

I’m always trying to kind of sounds that like looking for where it’s finished right hopefully we’re on the green hopefully we got another chance for some more birdy sauce here in Dubai okay we’re on the green I wasn’t too sure but looks pretty good I’m might

Maybe took a few too many yards off that shot but nice uphill look for birdie birdie opportunity up the hill right to left almost just up the shadow of the flag really come on see if we get on the par oh it was a good roll as well

Actually didn’t break anywhere near as much I thought it was going to do INF for par level par through three not a bad start come on really want to keep it going today my goal is not only breaking 75 I’d like I’d like five birders said it five

Birds I’ve already got one four more to get okay level PA through three I think it’s a par four coming up next Par Four 416 yards come on let’s keep keep pushing forward today that’s the goal right fourth power four slight dog leg right 416 yards similar on every h a bunker

Right bunker left uh I’m just going to go straight to that bunker on the left rip it straight at it really good ball really good ball I like that a lot little fade smack bag in the middle of the Fairway okay after a really nice drive splitting the Fairway 155 yards left of

The pin pin’s tuut kind of left side of the green so I don’t want to be too greedy so I’m going to try and just hit it just to the right of the pin go eight iron and not probably not a full full one but just keep it just right at the

Pin it’s going to have to travel a lot ah think I’m trying to do too much with that then trying to keep it right at the pin not hit it too hard I should have just gone at the pin and just hit it hard right I think that’s finished short

Annoyingly strike really bad strike okay that wasn’t my finest effort um just a really really poor strike front of the green to be honest as you get up here I had reasons to be concerned big bunker on the left and the Green’s very very narrow from side to

Side so it have had to be perfect Direction okay just short of the green um in two minds what to do here I be honest I feel like I keep saying this I’ve been forcing myself to chip a lot more when I look at these I just think I

Don’t I just don’t think I can chip it as close I’m going to put it up the hill it’s going to swing to the left oh my God i’ have definitely done better than that chipping jeez that was slow it’s cuz it’s so wet the grass cuz it’s early

Morning long range powerp put now after be in the middle of the Fairway oh it just needed hitting it just needed hitting that feels like a really silly bogey there middle of the Fairway got to blame the second shot really there ah one over okay fifth hole

Power five 585 yards one on the left I’m going to try and car well carry it over the corner of that and see if we can get a bounce back bird straight Away might be a little bit left okay that wasn’t my best Drive um been eting driver really well there but pulled it a touch long way into this power five so have to lay up I’m just in the sand here going to hit it down there to leave myself a nice pitch in

Yeah pretty solid back in play nice little pitch from there okay third shot into the green 130 yards away into this par five let’s try and get up and down get back to level par bounce back ability right now be Brilliant What did that it left to right for birdie I was hoping I’d hit it closer than this this could go in though left to right birdie put down the hill once it gets past that little knuckle oh it’s gone that way what the hell should have taken a bit more time

Over that then that is a weird weird weird put much much longer put for p than I wanted to have I always already want to be the hole at this point now I’ve got this 7 foot of a par Rick that is a silly silly three

Put oh should have been closer in two should have been closer in three sorry and three put bogey two over through five ah that wasn’t the fat power five I wanted anyway just needs to make more birdies now just need to make more birdies sixo power four scattering a bunkers it’s not

Long this H it’s only 370 so good drive should leave a little pitch into the green or little 100 yard shot into the green come on I want to bounce back now bounce back birdie straight away what the bunker yeah it should be in between the

Two bunkers got a few the lefts today with the driver nothing crazy just a little bit of a pull got the merch okay after a solid Drive um not far from this bunker actually but I’ve got 99 yards left into the flag now come on need to need to crack open some B

More birdy sauce we made one so far I think there a lot more out here 99 yards to the flag I really like this yardage full 56° for me come I’ve got this in a par five neck so aim is to get back to level par for the front nine two over currently

Now be good be good should be good got a bit of mud down my neck but should be good come on make some birdies okay now we rocking now we’re rocking that was a nice shot after a disappointing last hole let’s knock this one in firm just on that left

Edge Let’s Go nice birdie bounc back after that horrible bogey on the last back to one over par five coming up two birdies made three more to go for our Target as well okay seventh hole here at jira par five slight dog leg to the right 530 yards so slightly shorter

Than the last power five let’s see if we can do slightly better than the last power five straight down the at that boogie that’s in the distance now would be perfect literally at that Boogie could not be any straighter driver is doing well at the moment not

Perfect every time but a lot lot lot better than what it was okay after a really good drive um not the longest in the world but I thought I actually thought it was dead straight it’s just clung on the right side of the Fairway to be honest so it

Must have kicked off this Bank 250 yards to the green I’m just going to have to Rifle a three-w attic come on Rick get there into that has gone very left okay might be the end of the road for old Bluey seem to beting it left a

Lot recently even though it’s good for distance it’s 30 yards left right anyway we’ve got a pitch on the green here loads of room once we get up there terrible oh my chipping and pitching jeez long long long long put here now I’d be really annoyed if I made bogey

Here on this par five two put P needed it’s going to have to go it’s going to have to go oh Ricky Shields down the hill right to left it’s going to be fast come on drop it in that front door that is outrageously annoying two Bogies on two par fivs on

The front nine ah yeah yeah yeah puts me back to two over God damn it God damn it okay nice little par three eighth hole 140 yards pins tucked right in that front left corner so I’m going to hit a nine iron it’s actually the first time today

I’ve actually felt a little bit of Breeze I feel like it’s just slightly into oh that last two par fives e anyway one more bird on the front line finish one over for the front line it be somewhat of a success after some of the golf I’ve

Played I need one more birdie bird in your part to finish the front nine let’s make the birdie here be brilliant nice nice there’s some good golf in there there is i’ seem to be making all the birdies on the more challenging holes well I’m not KN this one in yet

But that’s the plan and they making the Bogies on the easy holes not a lot in this at all right half of the hole for birdie to get back to one over oh what a funny old game right back to one over jeez right three birdies complete though on track for trying to

Make five birdies in the round of golf at least how am I better from 140 yards away from the pin than I’m from just 40 yards hey how is that logic okay Par Four ninth hole straight down uh again bunkers to avoid but driver’s going well driver’s doing it

Doing its job today feel like the driver and some nice iron shots my putting and my wedging of uh are on holiday but not in Dubai I think they’ve gone somewhere somewhere cold right driver straight down the middle be amazing if I can finish with one more Birdie on this front line

Just like automatic my driver at the moment right now it’s like automatic it’s like that that um self uh swingless driver it’s like pressing the button it just goes straight okay I’ve had this yardage three times so far today 155 yards um and each time I’ve tried to hit this

Kind of soft eight iron not to great success but I’m just going to one more time at it cuz for me nine iron I’ve got to absolutely jump on it to get there and I just don’t think I’ll get it there so I’m just going to really control an A Time in

There come on let’s stick another one close skinny but it’s going to be really good yeah wasn’t quite the desired shot but it’s finished really nicely come on then Rick one more birdie for the front kn just for the just for the crack get back to level P that’d be nice okay walking

Up to the green not actually as close I thought it was not that it deserved to be cuz I thinned it a bit but we’ve got a 20 footer for birdie this would be really nice if I could just finish the front nine with a nice long Po and

Another birdie to get to back to level p it was it was snaking and moving s for par adventurous front line there very adventurous one over par with three birdies four Bogies and a couple of pars right going to hit the bat nine on track for

Breaking 75 which is the good news big charge now 10 sketchy front nine let’s be honest two power FES making bogey on them but coming back strong with three birdies uh 10th 440 yard PA for to kick things off at this point I just feel like just putting it down in the

Faway let’s hope uh that continues with the big stick oh spell too early I spoke too soon that is a big left that was me feeling all confident right um that’s what happens if you get a bit complacent with your driving that was terrible pulled it way left into the

Trees luckily found it uh 90 yards away to the flag I mean it’s not out the rounds the possibility of getting this on the green to be honest with you get there it’s just left of the green but I should be decent for distance I don’t know what’s over There okay come on Rick pretty much dead straight up the hill we’ll take a par after finding the trees still one over still on track for breaking 75 but I would got a taste today got a taste of breaking pass them for some wild Reason Okay after just knocking this uh iron shot really weirdly into the roof 128 Ys back pin going to go Gat wedge just so I don’t get a fly out this roof yeah we’re on I’m not sure how close we’re going to be feel like it

Just stalled a little bit up in the air then okay not my fa well not a bad effort but just got to come over this little hump back before we get down to the pin got a big breaking put on this you know I’m going to be just a little

Bit more natural I’m not going to line my ball up I’m just going to kind of feel it top of the hill roll it down try to have a little bit of a feel from my putting feel that’s what I’ve lost it’s not horrendous from there it

Was always going to be tight it’s always going to be tough to get the speed and the and the direction in for four right two over through 12 I think I’m going to not be able to sleep tonight after that three put on the last hole but

Never mind plenty more holes to go come on more bird is needed 13th hole par five here we go this is a good looking hole it kind of snakes to the left and snakes right right um I think the the well the T-shirt has to avoid sand to have an an

Opportunity to get there in two par FES haven’t been my friend today let’s see if we can uh let’s see if we can get one back on this hole make a birdie just to the right edge of that bunker down on the left oh I actually hit a tree

Oh oh golf so this is uh what I’ve just caused to hit the branches of this tree and luckily for me I mean it was a terrible drive I’m really not the last couple of drives of it have been awful it’s finished here in the roof got a

Hell of a long way left into this part five so just going to lay it up I’m 366 yards into SP five lay it up and then try and get up and down four ran yeah very solid back in the Fairway 177 yards after my layup in the

Fairway I feel like I need some we’ve got two this par five and the last is a par five I feel like I want to finish this round of golf somehow level power on the on the par fives I’m already two over on them and I’m two over him around

The golf so uh I need to 30 these next two power FS I feel like vengeance is is key 177 yards fancy hting six or a seven right let’s do this 177 yards full seven iron oh it’s it thin but I might get really away with it strike’s not quite there today

Catching a few of those mid irons thin weirdly all right that wasn’t my fin strike a little bit thin but kind I mean tough pin position actually on that back shelf let’s see if we can hold a a decent length put let’s see if we can

Box one so I want to get back to level p on the par fives ideally so I’ve got this for birdie up there right to left just not in puts good at all like not even not even a little bit if I miss this my head might

Go so let’s make sure I don’t miss it right to left not a lot in it oh making hard work of those path F I really am I really am right still two over little dinky little pa three coming up next I’ve been doing good on P threes

Actually b a three put a couple of holes ago but my shots into the green have been good come on Rick I want two more birdies on the scorecard I want to finish level pa okay par three beautiful looking hole 135 yards pitching wedging hand come on let’s uh let’s make another

Two go in the hole oh jeez jeez that was close not far off let’s have a quick look at this cuz I think it landed very very very close to going in so it’s landed that’s the pitch mark less than a well a foot away from the hole and somehow it’s finished there

That doesn’t almost make sense wow that was very very very very close to our first hoing one on camera that would have been nice for a two up the hill pretty straight Though that’s three tws on the score c car today my par 3es have been phenomenal my power fives have been horrendous oh so close everybody so so bloody close right one over let’s crack on let’s finish this round off in style okay after that drama of the last

Hole 15th hole power4 423 yards uh just straight down give one a rip find this driver for him again that’ll work that’s good second shot here into 15 just in the first little bit of rof 140 to the flag it’s nice little 9 get up not quite sure what happened there

Took a bit too much Club off it annoyingly should have hit that ah sometimes I’m hting those shots really really really good at the moment and other times I’m quite simply not okay just on the front of the green no need to take a short Club out

And put who it’s going to be come on Rick let’s get another birdie now a long range birdie would be nice TI oh Rick just caught enough thank God right one over uh 16 17 18 to go come on Rick par five to finish two par FES coming up next let’s

Do it let’s get back to level that’ll be the goal after so many Bogies I’d be very happy with that 16th hole Par Four short one as well about 320 um a younger Rick Shields might have been able to reach this green once upon

A time but I don’t think I can get there now maybe FR an edge if I’m lucky let’s give it a rip it’s a really good hit oh I’m absolutely nowhere near I didn’t even clear the bunker oh I didn’t even clear the bunker damn that was the straightest

Drive of it all day as well okay that was a bit embarrassing I did think I was going to be clearing this bunker to be honest with you uh I definitely need to do some speed training need to get up that that club head speed and that ball

Speed start bombing it again either way I’m 70 yards away from the pin in this bunker let’s pitch one on and hopefully get one close yeah that’s not bad from there that’s not bad at all to be fair tough shot could have easily gone very very badly

But we are on the green looking for a put for birdie not easy those little bunker shots from inside 100 yards let going hold the put now okay after a very nice bunker shot let’s see if we can knock this one on in for bird

Get back to level P would be lovely and this would uh complete my mission for five birdies this round just put a nice roll on it get it rolling towards the hole at least honestly every P it’s like it’s that far offline oh I need to really look at my

Putting at the moment anyway in for four God what could have been that should have been not an easy birdie but it should have been a better look than that one over two holes to go power four and a par five 17th hole power four in my experience anytime there’s a short

Par 4 you know there’s going to be a long par 4 coming up next forgot my glove luckily I have magic powers right good drive needed two holes to go one overp par to shoot to break 75 to par 72 7,000 yards off the te I’m playing off as well so it’s

Not a short course it’s a break 75 today I’ve got two I mean padas two really but I can be I can afford to be one over on the last two but I don’t want to be I want to be under paath of the last two smothered it sit sit It’s going to be okay but it was a week I it I’ve driven the ball considering how well I was driving it through the middle section of this round This Bat n’s not been a good driving display okay so I finished just in this uh Baron area it could have been a lot

Worse to be fair but it’s not on grass 170 yards to the flag and hit seven iron um just need to find the green just need to find the green and then make p bird last oh such a good strike sit down ball such a good hit as well I’m

Surprised that’s come up so short just at the front of the green actually not as short as I thought I was I thought it was quite a bit short but this isn’t too bad need to bump it on that hill and let it just turn around around the corner

And probably go in the hole if I’m honest with you you can’t predict This Grass find it very difficult to predict like first bounce then I thought it was going to hop and it light came it almost hopped upwards okay got to put for power anyway okay important put right to left

Oh man I could only get up and down eh if I could only get up and down from off the green right par five last and now have to make par or better to break 75 here in Dubai at jir Gulf estate fire of course par FES haven’t been my friend

Today they really haven’t let’s see if we can get some Vengeance back on this final hole oh that was a shame okay come on Rick good drive needed last hole 520 par five par gets me to break 75 birdie would feel would feel fitting

I think on a p on a par five it’s not been my day on the par fives today straight over this bunker in front of us get over everything that should be a might just being left rough but not bad yeah I’m happy with that okay so I’ve actually

Hit a decent t- shot just in the left roof I’m 250 yards away from the pin I’m going to go three-wood three-wood has not been my friend recently he’s got it’s got a chance to make it make up for it the fear is it’s been going left and

There there’s quite a bit of trouble left I might actually try and slice one in there like a big high fadey one in there come on Rick get a good one fade fade fade fade fade fade fade oh it’s hit so good oh my God it’s so short how is it that [Laughter]

Short well it’s not a bad shot but it’s it’s 50 yard short okay not the shot I want to believe myself for the last hole if I’m honest with you I’m actually going to play it low Chase it up there in that bank and then let it

Chase come on Rick stick it on the green it’s actually not too bad you know it stop rolling that should be okay birie on the last to shoot one overpar two put to shoot 74 down the hill right to left just put a good put on it for some reason fancy this one
