Titleist Just Released a BRAND NEW Golf Ball (and we Tested it)

We got our hands on a BRAND NEW golf ball from Titleist and wow were we ever impressed by the performance!

That’s right, Titleist has just released a the brand new 2024 Titleist AVX with a new cover featuring a soft feel and longer distance from tee to green, and we got to test it!

What do you got there today we’re doing a little white box testing brand new golf ball we’ll show you out there so the 20124 AVX um does have a new cover it is still our lowest flying lowest spinning performance golf ball but we wanted to take the new model make

It softer again everything that we do we always want to make it better and improve upon the previous model so we wanted to find a way that we can make it softer while still keeping the performance of the low spin and low height for somebody that just needs a

Little bit of spin reduction whether it’s around the green or off the te and then also maybe still again with AVX sees that added distance off of their mid irons if they want a little extra distance going into greens so they’re hitting their 7R maybe a little bit

Further that’s going to be the AVX and the improvements to the 2024 Model good Pace I’ll take a dozen of those I I’ll take it can you hit the shot can you see the shot shape that you want yep you’ve got an overhanging tree you’ve got a branch there yep you got to be able to make sure you can perform here not perfect condition

But we’re not sitting on perfect condition on a golf course so this is the spot where we want to look at what we what shot we want to play yeah and trust it this isn’t the range no good shot thank you good shot when fitting someone for a golf ball it’s

Imperative that they get out onto the golf course and test them there’s so many things that when we’re on the Range we swing a little bit Freer we’re not worried about missing a fairway or missing a green or putting in a bunker so when you get out on the golf course

It puts you into a encourse live situation where it tests your golf swing a little bit where it’s going to be the shots that you want to see so when you’re out on the golf course you find those shots and go this shot makes me really nervous perfect we want to make

Sure we’re fitting your golf ball for that shot because the number one thing for any golfer is confidence and when you get out and you test the golf ball on the golf course and you see that that’s confidence for you so that’s huge oh all day oh just just drop okay Cruel I just realized we’re a pink team today oh yeah just realized it that’s it that’s nice you got the memo that’s salmon coral Coral that’s got the memo I got [Applause] Theo so so far for me there’s a lot of familiarity with the AVX remember I

Played the AVX for a long time and uh it was back when we did our ball fitting maybe uh two years ago that I switched over to the uh pro1 and that was because I still got that soft feel but I got a little bit more spin but I tell you what

There’s a little bit of subtle changes here that are really making this ball very playable for me I’m playing well with it so I’m interested I think the the what it really comes down to is really now putting it head-to-head playing a little bit of my ball and I

Think what I might end up doing is taking some of these new 2024 AVX out with me for a round or two uh a couple practice rounds and just hit it direct comparison to the prov1 and just kind of see because they are close but so far I

Mean I’m playing well and I’m I’m loving how this ball is is performing for me it’s a lot of familiarities but uh the AVX has always had a soft spot for me I just love the feel of this ball probably here the biggest thing that we really want to check of what’s

New with the 2024 AVX is the new cover where again it gives that softer feel but improves that performance of keeping that low spin low flight around here and especially around the green you’ll see that but we were able to with that add a little bit more short game Spin okay so

This is a perfect example of a shot that makes me nervous so it’s sitting down since I don’t hit this shot much I’m not of them fa with kind of this buried right by the green lie I get a little bit nervous what I want you to start

Thinking of is because of the golf ball that you play if it’s a brand new AVX if it’s a V1 that you’re currently gaming I can I trust that this golf ball is going to do this mhm because you’re fit for it properly it should do what you want it

To do doesn’t mean we’re not going to miss it but you want to start saying I know and I trust that this golf ball is going to do this got it so we’ll go back to this shot later in the round and I’m going to say I want

That same aggressive confident swing for this shot because that’s what it takes but you have to trust that the golf ball that you have is right for you to do that the number one thing we get is I’m not good enough to be fit for a golf

Ball but it’s you should be rewarded for the good golf shots that you hit and even can it help your M hits you know how a golf ball performs for every golfer regardless of their speed think about it we swing our driver at one speed but where do we hit most of our

Shots inside 100 yards speed really isn’t the main aspect there so as we get around the the green where all of us are going to hit plenty of shots through the day sometimes too many but we want to make sure that we have the golf ball that rewards Us in those areas that’s

Where we’re going to see the biggest difference where every golfer regardless of skill is going to benefit for the right golf ball for their game so the joy of doing this out on the golf course you know we can’t do this on the Range but that was a full wedge shot

Yeah we get to go up to the green we’re going to find a ball mark up there so we’re going to see that ball Mark we’re going to see exactly where it landed we’re pretty even with the 100 yard marker we’re going to go find where that

Ball marker is and we’re going to be able to Pace off how far that ball rolled now we’re going to take conditions into it we’re a little downwind probably released a little bit more than what we thought but now we want to start playing that game of

Where’s the numbers at what is best and we can do that here on the Range it’s hard to do that all right we found the pitch mark perfect so again we’re out on the the golf course we can see how far a ball is releasing when it hits the green

You hit that at a great height we got up under the green there’s about 2 yards in between where your pitch mark is and your golf ball is so I look at that 100 yd downwind this is a pretty playable shot now you can control it it’s not

Spinning too much but this is where it g gives you that confidence to say I’m going to go after this Pin So with the 2024 AVX we obviously aren’t going to release anything new unless it’s better so for somebody that wants to gain that advantage of a real soft feel around the greens AVX for 2024 is excellent and we finally got the speeds right gosh that’s best one all day
